7 Cool Things Coming to WoW in Patch 7.1.5
Hi! I’m Hazel, and this is a countdown of the top 7 coolest things that I’m looking forward to in Patch 7.1.5. 7-1-5 is just around the corner, and even though it’s a minor patch there’s still lots of cool stuff on the way. #7: Artifact Knowledge Catchup. It’s not exactly new content, but this is by far one of the most exciting things coming for those of us with alts. If you’re late to Legion, you might find yourself behind on your Artifact research. In 7.1.5, you can outright buy Artifact notes for 500 Order resources per level, up to level 15. No waiting around. If you’re done with research on your main but you’re feeling hesitant with alts, this next part is the really juicy bit. At your Order Hall Researcher, you can buy BOA Compendiums for 1000 resources to send to your alts.
Having Artifact Knowledge 10 lets you buy Volume 1, which boosts an alt to Knowledge 5. Being at 15 lets you buy Compendium 2, to boost an alt to Knowledge 10. Being at 20 lets you buy Compendium 3, to boost to 15. Finally, if you have finished your research and you’re at Artifact Knowledge 25, you can buy Compendium 4 to boost your alts to Knowledge 20 instantly. #6: The Rechargeable Reaves Battery. After the patch, there’ll be a quest to give Engineers the schematic to craft a Rechargeable Reaves Battery. That lets you summon your Reaves without having to consume felslate. This is a much needed bit of love for Engineers and hopefully we start seeing a lot more Blingtron 6000s kicking around. #5: Dampening Begins Immediately in 2s skirmishes and arena. If you’ ve ever spent time queuing 2s or 2s skirms, you’ll know how long the healer games get. They’re almost never won before dampening, so the first five minutes is just a big waste of everyone’s time. Not anymore! In 7.1.5, dampening will start stacking right out the gate in 2v2 matches. This should help make it quicker to get your 10 2s wins without falling asleep at your keyboard.
#4: Micro Holidays. These are short, world-building mini events with no major rewards attached. The first one on the horizon is Call of the Scarab, scheduled for January 21-23. It celebrates the anniversary of the Ahn’Qiraj opening with Vanilla style resource collecting. The faction that earns the most credit on a given server flies their flag in Silithus for the year. Other examples fof Micro Holidays on the calendar include the Thousand Boat Bash, Glowcap Festival, Volunteer Guard Day, March of the Tadpoles and a Tavern Crawl. It shouldn’t be a big deal if you miss them, but they’ll be fun little events to drag your friends along to and check out. #3: Brawler’s Guild with Rumble Fights. The Brawler’s Guild is coming back to town for the first time in Legion, with brand new fights, rewards, and a new type of fight called Rumbles.
Rumble fights pull everyone that’s queued into the arena at once to beat on a big, multi-person boss. Hopefully you’re at your keyboard! There’s 8 Rumble fights to try as well as a bunch of new Challenge card fights, some new achievements, and the new Brawler’s Basilisk mount. A lot of this is accessed with Brawler’s gold, a new currency you earn through Brawl related quests and of course winning Brawls. #2: Class Updates and Legendary changes. In 7.1.5, Blizzard is making another massive stab at class balancing. There are tuning changes to almost every class, talent swaps, honor talent changes and adjustments on legendaries. I’m going to do a whole separate video to cover these in more detail but rest assured that damage meters should get thoroughly shuffled up. Last, my #1 favourite addition coming in 7.1.5: Mists of Pandaria Timewalking. MoP Timewalking is being added to the weekly event rotation complete with 6 dungeons to run and some spiffy new rewards. There’s Yu’lei, Daughter of Jade, a new flying mount. We’ve got two new pets with the Paradox Spirit and Infinite Hatchling. Finally, for toys you can pick up a Portable Yak Wash and an Adopted Puppy Crate.
I’m all over anything that gives me new pets and adopted puppies, so I personally can’t wait. So, those are my top 7 most anticipated things coming in patch 7.1.5! It’s worth noting that Flying in the broken Isles is NOT coming in 71.5- that will be in which also has the Tomb of Sargeras raid. We’ve gotta spend some time in the Nighthold first so don’t expect that until at least summer 2017.
Thanks for watching! Let me know what you think, and have a wonderful, wonderful day. Bye!.
