How to Get Orokin Cells! Warframe Farming Guide – Update 18.5 [1080HD]
Ahoy thar, Legion! Hope yall enjoyed the holiday weekend! We got a few requests on where to find Orokin Cells, and by golly we haven’t done a guide on them individually yet, so aye! Let’s take a quick look! Glancin’ at the star chart you’ll notice there are three main farming locations: Saturn, Ceres, and the Orokin Derelict! Any mission at these locations has the chance to drop them for you. The odds are about as low you’ll find one that I won’t stab the first Corpus I see, so if you want to passively farm them just pick a spot that looks good and go about your business. Over time you’ll harvest them, and while this is the least stressful, it’s also the slowest. If you want to actively farm them you’ll probably want to focus on endless mission types or Defense, Survival, Excavation, Interception, stuff like that. This will be more demanding on the noggin’, so just mind the burnout factor is all I’m sayin’. Saturn’s hotspots thend to be Cassini and Mimas, but the Dark Sector missions are also an option, if you want to change things up a bit.
For Ceres you have a lot more places available, but the difficulty is gonna be much higher by comparison: Draco is a bar none the most popular mission in the game right now, and it’s for that reason I’d actually avoid it, but it is an option if ya wanna. I’d recommend Nuovo and Varro as likely candidates while the dark sector mission Seimeni is also pretty nice. You really have to want to run the Derelict missions to venture inside as you actually gotta build a key just to enter it, making this the one place that charges you to farm there. Same rules as before, Defense and Survival is what you’ll want to run, but ya might be wondering if this is the only means to getting you some Orokin Cells. It’s not! While these methods are great for long hauls with friends and clanmates, a faster method would be boss hunting as they have the highest odds possible. Lephantis rules the Derelict, but while he has the chance to drop the most Cells, he also takes the most effort to run.
Lech Kril of Ceres and Sargeant Ruk of Saturn are much better options, your call which ya prefer as they both have immunity phases that drag the fight on. But ya know which boss doesn’t have immunity phases? MUH BOI PHORID! If the Infested take over the planet with green goo and infect the boss mission, you can opt to run Phorid instead who’s a much simpler, and faster boss by comparison, and he will drop the same resources! So in short, if ya don’t need Orokin Cells right away, farm em at your leisure and enjoy a stockpile of em when the time comes. If you *do* need them right away, hit up bosses or do some marathon runs with your buds… or ya can do what I prefer and wait for Phorid to take over a planet with materials you want and snag em them. Nice mix of both worlds there! As all things farming go, mind your Burnout levels, folks! Short bursts are better than long grinds or you’ll burnout hard and not want to touch the game at all.
So farm wisely! If this guide helped you out or put a smile on yourface, we’d be honored if you’d like, favorite, and share this video with your fellow tenno! We always appreciates it when ya does!
