This guide is ment for a baseline for new players coming into our wonderful little world, and a how to guide on basics of getting up to level at a good speed solo. (Before those who flame, a guide is a line that can be bent, it don’t have to be 100% to the letter) Now the first question people ask are what stats should I put my points in. My personal suggestion is to make goals, reach those goals, then move on, don’t try to do by the level or it’ll be hard grinding. So will do each set with suggested goals, and should be noted this guide is for UM Players, can be adjusted to HM.

Levels 1 to 5- Stick right around Beika Farm, kick out those monkeys and foxes, and hope for some bronze gear with some +hp stats, pretty easy and basic.

5-8 Antelope, wolves, boars – Just south of Beika at the guard post there, just keep killing till you reach level 8.

8-10 Sealakels on the little island between Beika and the elven city, simple grinds, don’t worry about upgrading any gear at this point, not until level 13.

Stat Update: At this point, I’d recommend putting 40 stats into dex, which causes alot of misses at low levels and the rest into luc. The reason I say luck is because while not to noticable now, by time your level 25ish, you’ll notice alot of crits with AoE’s and will do more DPS (Damage Per Second) Than a full str build even.

10-13 Orc Fighters/Shamans will be the place to go, can start off doing one or two, and by time your level 14 will be doing 6 or so at a time with Ground Shock helping you. At level 13 go to the nearest city and buy a divider I believe it is.

14-16 Sealakels just east or west of Keo will work, both are numberous and able to get good size pulls. With your 2h sword, you’ll be doing more damage than with the dual swords, and with windspin and groundshock should be flying through these, at this point if able, a priest is a good duo partner, but you can easily get buy with just a few stacks of the Echo’s to heal you.

16-18 The ogres at the south east corner of the map are great here, can get good size pulls, and can easily get to 18 without much of a worry of dying.

Stat Update: At this point, I’d suggest 80 dex, rest luc… keep building luck till it’s at 150, then switch from luck to str, will switch back later.
(Note) I did skip the CR, as this is a solo guide, and solo’ing in there is a pain while grinding for exp, getting a large number of greens in one pull and killing in 1 minute is faster than killing 2 dungeon oranges in 3 minutes and alot more exp over time.

18-22 The monkeys and foxes again… this time on map2, you’ll find them a little tough and doing two at a time harder at first, but once they are yellow/green you’ll breeze through them in full pulls, feel free to run to the nearest city and get the lvl 19 2h sword at this point, though won’t keep it long.

22-24 Boars and foxes, still not far into map2 and getting boars to the point where you can take pulls of 5 or 6 at a time, always start with ground shock to slow their attack, which means less damage you take from the pull. Feel free to run to town and get some NPC armor if you’d like, the extra HP and slight defense does make a little difference but not huge.

(Stat Update) By now you should have around 100 dex, rest into luc… so roughly around 100 dex, 100 luc, 40 str… noticing crits starting to kick in a bit more, about a 20% chance, 28% with buff.

24-25 The Fedion bears and golems southwest of Fedion, again can get nice pulls, and keep on them until they turn green. At this point you’ll notice some spirit cores dropping rarely, save them for future Epic Weapon.

25- Take the time to do the Marshal Prides quest, your first epic, it starts back near the boars by the pond, the soldier there gives you the quest, it’s same damage as the Flamberge, but with a nice +20 str and +5 rec added to help you along.

25-28 Sealakels south of Ark Vill, starting to catch onto how to get bigger pulls and time your pots. By now you know exactly how much a pot will heal you, so when your HP gets to say 70%, hit a pot… get back to full health… pots are cheap, safer to be at full health with pot recharging than at 1/2 health and popping a pop, 75% health, and pot just started recharge. A few Dispel Potions are nice here as well, stick a stack in your x/z hotbar to pick up your speed again.

(Stat Update) Sticking around 100 dex will do you good for a time, start building up your damage for next step, so get str up to 100 next, once your at 100 str, 100 dex, 100 luc, return to adding to luc until 150.

28-31 Pirates and bears south of the Ligh House are great grinding, lots of them, easy to kill and high drop rate on gears and spirit cores that you’ll need later. Just simple grinding will get you through this quickly.

31-34 If you have a healer with you, the zombies/killers along the road are great to grind on as they have some nice little drops that help you along the way, if no healer might want to stay at pirates until 33, the zombies/killers have % based damage debuffs that could risk your UM.

(Stat Update) Alright, should be going for around 150 luc about now, got your 100 dex, and 100 str. Next step is to bump up your dex and str a touch more, aim for 125 str/dex. You should be critting around 35% of the time now.

34-36 The orcs outside of Mait are a prime spot, but as such are also pretty busy. I suggest the harpies just north of Silvaren, or the golems/(Forgot what the flying guys are called) in the little dip in the mountain just northwest of the harpies, be sure to take demolishing potions as they use darkness.

35- Take the time to do the epic quest, it starts in Silvaren near the center of town, and finishes in town, kinda long, get an amulet that will help out as well, just a precursor for next epic.

36-39 Last steps before you get to split into one of two paths. Finish these levels up on map3, at the Sealakels on the shore near Stigma, or the goblins in the town just east of Pres Manor, either will work fine, fast respawns, decent pulls, and you’ll start getting adamars stones to save for your epic coming up soon, also save those great potions you find… all of them, you’ll use them, and will give the mana to some priest who comes to help you.

40-45 Got two choices, save some gold and time, and grind outside of Karis to farm those magic leathers you’ll need, be sure to use a PID and Conti if you do, if you plan to go the dangerous route, a 30d conti/pid is strongly suggested. Your other choice is to go east of Karis to the Orcs and orc leaders… will be grinding here for awhile, but great spot to finish up the needed items for your next epic, except for the magic leathers/gold apples. Once able, finally upgrade from the Marshal’s Pride to (Bah, what’s it called…) I believe it’s the Alvander (Find it in the AH, usually dirt cheap).

45- Take the drawn out process to do the quest, epic, that starts in Stronghold, near the catapults, the guy in legendary mithril (blue) armor will start the quest. Do this entire quest, if you plan on taking the "safe" route, I suggest sticking with water or wind ele, if your taking the more profitable but more dangerous path, get the earth ele. You’ll understand why later.

46-50 Alright, got your ele weapon, if your going the safe route, go to the bottom of map3 and grind on up to 49, 50 is better though. Also some nice rings/loops drop down at the bottom of this map that do sell for quite a bit. If a bit more dangerous, go to D2, run past all the goblins/spiders until you get to skeletons and sucubuses, these will start off orange at 46 and green at 50, also dropping some various weapons that you can sell NPC to cover the cost of the pots your using up, and the level 3 lapises you can toss in your armor to help you grind.

(Stat Update) At this point, your base stats should be 150 dex, 200 luc (Just at 70% crit rate with buffs, modifiers and base stats). So, your now critting decent, you’ve got enough dex to keep you floating, and you’ll notice as you link either from the AH/Farmed/Guild House, even just 2′s/3′s add up nicely, lapis mostly into dex/luc in these worship/heroic gears for now.

51-55 If your safe, and gone with a wind ele, go to Pando, grind on those larva/gnomes/monkeys until 54, then move just east of Pando and grind on the leopards until 55. If you got a water sword, at 54 more to the fire trolls to grind. If you got the earth sword, you’ll now see it coming into full effect, go to D2 and grind on the sealakels and the likes there, keep and link the lapises you find, sell them when you are linked up. Might and most likely will die here a few times as Fury also farm this area, but should be able to do long grind periods at a time. If Fury over run the zone for awhile, simply go to Jungle and kill the dino’s to the east of the bridge.

Take some time and get some legendary gears, don’t really need goddess unless you want it. Link them with as many dual craft 1, dual shrewd 2, dual fortune 1, craft lvl 5, shrewd lvl 5, fortune lvl 5, safe lvl 5 as you can fit, all other duals and 4′s are junk at this point, sell them… I strongly suggest an ele top, will make pulls much easier for you.

56-60 If your safe, go ahead to Cali or Viri, some decent drops there as well, if a bit tough for you, go back to trolls, even 6 dark blue mobs are better than 2 purple mobs. If your in D2, time to go to D2-3 and continue what you’ve been doing, if you’ve upgraded your gear and linked with good duals and 5′s, the mixed dino’s in Jungle is a great spot to grind, can also make between 100 and 500mil an hour off duals.

60-64 Grind on boars/foxes/bears in VR, they will give you roughly 20-30k exp each still, and can easily do pulls of 8, making for great exp… No more safety, get out of Pando, time to start using conti/pid’s.

64-67 Sands, keep grinding, grinding, grinding… do ALL quests while in VR as many times as possible, trust this. =-P Something to keep you motived, 60+ gears drop from ALL mobs in VR, I’ve seen Brillant Shields drop from even the boars, big money now. A healer is your duo special here, can solo it, but increase speed by about 40% with healer.

67-70 Servus Bees, should be able to handle pretty easily, and your so close… just keep it up, by now you’ve got it down!

(Stat Update) Your looking now at a base of 250 dex, 200 luc, rest str. Even with your legend gears linked as stated above, your fairly fit for pvp. Link new gears the same way, except add 6′s and 7′s if you can afford, able to back off the luc a little now if fully linked up. Good luck!

Congratz, you’ve learned the path to grinding to 70 without hitting a single dungeon, and if you went the safe path you didn’t have a single death until atleast level 60. Now, to know what you used to get there…

Skill Tree: In order that I use in skill bar.
Autoattack
Deadly Strike: Max
Deadly Shock: Max — Even grinding, that stunning a mob for those last couple seconds will often save you, and amazing in pvp.
Ground Shock: Max — When pulling big pulls, always use this as first attack, will save yourself alot of damage.
Wide Shock: Max — Decreasing their defense will cause those crits to be much, much higher, maxed will be about a 2k difference on your crits.
Wind Spin: Max
Enhanced Windspin: Max
****** Swing: Max
Tear Slash: Max Great for high defense or high hp, mobs and players alike. =-D

On second skill bar, off to side.
Stinger: Level 3 is good enough in my opinion, those extra few damage isn’t the issue, it’s getting to them fast and stunning them.
Eagle Eye: For when your in those big pulls and a hunter sneaks up on you, finish your pull, then the hunter. Also great for raid rushing.
2nd ele’d weapon
2nd ele’d top
Divine Burst
Eraser
3rd ele’d weapon
3rd ele’d top
Untouch Potion
Autopickup

As for your passive skills, needless to say max the +dmg and +spd on 2h, after that pretty much your own.

On rotating skill bar
Bash
Concentration
Leadership
Energy Control
Berserk
Easy to keep fully buffed that way.
