shaiya defender guide

There are not many builds for defender in this game. Def can be attacker or tanker. One can try to build hybrid tank but it would need careful planning and more money to do it. So here we go:

FULL REC TANK

This used to be basic defender build for a long time but not anymore. Basic idea was that you build your defense, resistance and HP so one can take beating of his life and still stand his ground. With Aura Absorption buff and def/res/HP gear, FULL REC tanker seems indestructable. But that’s not all there is in Shaiya.

Effective tanker must hold agro on mobs during entire pull. Only one renegade mob can take down squishy member of party in a few hits. Panic would do the job of holding back renegades most of the time but not always (doesn’t work on bosses and in desert). Furthermore, Taunt has small range (2-4m) and you do need few AoE skills that would add to your aggroing with successful hits. Few months ago AoE skills had 75% success no matter the stats you had and it was easy to hold agro on yourself. Nowadays, without dex in your build it is hard to hit anything.

Altogether, last changes that ep 5.2 introduced made it worse for FULL REC tankers. Recapitulation:

- solo play is not an option cause character cant hit or damage anything
- character evades nothing, so it is always under debuffs from enemies
- character can’t use main AoE debuffs (darkness, stop, silence, ground boom) in its arsenal cause such skills are now dex based
- character cant hold agro on any boss in the game cause it requires successful attack and FULL REC cant hit on a regular base
- also it is hard to bring back renegade mobs when you loose agro on them

FULL REC skills

Skills that make you “stronger” or improve your recovery time (max them all):
BODY TRAINING, SHIELD DEFENSE UP, RELAX BODY, HEAVY WEAPON MASTERY.

“Power” skills (max them all):
SACRIFICE, UNTOUCHABLE, SECURE GUARD, MELEE REFLECTOR, POWER OF GUARD, DAYFLY SHIELD.

Buffs (max them all):
CONCENTRATION, INVINCIBLE WARRIOR, BATTLE CRY, TACTICAL FORMATION, AURA ABSORPTION.
If you have spare points, max HARD SKIN and MAGIC SKIN but it is not necessary.

Debuffs that are not dex based:
Max skills TAUNT, CURSE RAID, SLOW RAGE, ARCANE RANGE.
Level 1 for PANIC.

Also max skills: BACKPACK UPGRADE, TOWN PORTAL

Now, you can ask question “what about all those awesome debuffs that defender can use ?”
Well, FULL REC tank CANT use those skills cause he does not have dex !!!

Optional skills for this build are GROUND BOOM, DARKNESS BLOW and STOP BLOW but you can use them only after Arcane Range !!!

FULL REC armor

As for the basic stats same goes for armor: all in REC. This build needs more defense, more resistance and more HP all the way. It is simple as that.

Until level 50 find heroics with decent orange HP stats on it and link lvl 3 lapis Safe, Forbid, Life, Mental, Vigor.

If you have a lot of gold at your disposal, in that same heroics link Dual Safe Lv1, Dual Wise Lv3 and Lv4.

When you get your hand on Dread Adamas armor, link it with:
Dual Safe Lv1 and Lv3, Dual Shrewd Lv1, Dual Wise Lv4.
Also, try to have as much orange HP stats on it as possible.

FULL REC tactics

Most of the time you will do “body pull”. It means that you run near the monster to provoke it, so it would follow you around. When you run by all monsters in range, then you stop, monsters come near you as they form compact formation. In that moment, you run in the middle of group, hit them with your AoE skills and use Taunt. After you use Taunt, party damage dealers attack the monsters and destroy them. If you did it right, none of the monsters should run away from you and the party is safe. While damage dealers do their job, you usually stand still and let your HP/SP/MP recover slowly.

In case that some mob breaks away from your agro, use Panic on it and it will come to you again. If Panic fails few times and renegade monster is still alive, run to it and try to hit it with some AoE skill again. Normal hit with your weapon would usually miss, so save it as a last resort.

Skills in revolver

Curse Raid – Taunt – Slow Rage

If you are in party without strong mages/pagans, then like this:
Curse Raid – Taunt – Arcane Range – Slow Rage

REC/DEX TANK

This build we can name as basic build for today. No matter if you are NM, HM or UM tanker you should put 2 stat points in dexterity every level and the rest in REC. So, for example, it would be 5 rec / 2 dex for HM tank.

Two points per level in DEX will not make your defense considerably lower but would give a great boost to your evasion and hit rate. Recapitulation:

- solo play is still not an option cause you can hit but cant damage anything
- evasion rate is good and character can avoid great deal of debuffs from enemies
- AoE debuffs are basic tools for this build and people use them as often as they can
- character can easily hold or bring back agro on any monster in the game cause it has high REC and can land successful attack on a regular base

REC/DEX tanker is uncrowned king of every party. There is no bad party if you have this build in it, you can take any class along with you without any worries. Even healers become obsolete when REC/DEX tank comes to show Smile

REC/DEX tank skills

Skills that make you stronger, faster or improve your recovery time:
Max skills BODY TRAINING, SHIELD DEFENSE UP, RELAX BODY, HEAVY WEAPON MASTERY, POTENTIAL AVOID

“Power” skills:
Max UNTOUCHABLE.
At least level 1 for SECURE GUARD, MELEE REFLECTOR, POWER OF GUARD, DAYFLY SHIELD.

Buffs (max them all):
CONCENTRATION, INVINCIBLE WARRIOR, BATTLE CRY, TACTICAL FORMATION, AURA ABSORPTION.

Debuffs:
Max skills TAUNT, CURSE RAID.
Level 3 for GROUND BOOM.
Level 2 for DARKNESS BLOW, STOP BLOW, SILENCE BLOW.
Level 1 for PANIC, SLOW RAGE, ARCANE RANGE.

Also max skills: BACKPACK UPGRADE, TOWN PORTAL

Optional skills for this build are HARD SKIN, MAGIC SKIN, POLLUTION ZONE, BEHEMOTH RANGE, HEAVY SWAT, AROUSE BLOW.

REC/DEX tank armor

This build needs more defense, more dexterity, more resistance and more HP/SP/MP all the way. It is not as simple as with FULL REC. Pay attention that you will need more SP/MP stats than any other class. At higher levels, every buff requires large amount of mana and every skill spends mana and stamina points. As much as you need orange HP on your armor, don`t forget about SP/MP orange stats!!!

Until lvl 50 find heroics/dreads with decent orange HP/SP/MP stats on it and link lvl 3 lapis Safe, Forbid, Shrewd, Life, Mental, Vigor.

If you have some more gold at your disposal then link Dual Wise Lv3 and Lv4 where ever you can.

When you get your hand on Dread Adamas armor, link it with
Dual Safe Lv1 and Lv3, Dual Shrewd Lv1, Dual Wise Lv4.
In chest armor link Forbid Lv 4 or Lv 5.
Also, try to have as much orange HP/SP/MP stats on armor as possible. Do the same with your shield.

As for the weapon, dread level 45 hammer should do the best job cause it has highest REC/DEX stats and this build does not need damage. Link it with Dual Safe Lv 2 and other safe/shrewd duals at your disposal.

REC/DEX tank tactics

Basic pull is same as for FULL REC build but REC/DEX treats renegade mobs in different way.
In case that some mob breaks away from your agro, use Panic on it. If Panic fails few times and renegade monster is still alive, run to it and hit it with Arouse Blow or normal attack with your weapon.

One trick for duo at lower levels: Find priest with Frost Barrier or a mage with Fire Thorn skill. Stand close to partner with activated mentioned skill and pull fast monsters with Panic. If partner suffers damage, use some AoE skill (Taunt, Ground Boom…) from time to time to keep agro on yourself. When priest or mage do it solo, they run out of mana fast and they suffer a lot of damage. This way you protect them and they have full amount of mana any time if they wanna use their AoE skills. People that make duo this way never need plvl 1-15

Skills in revolver

Until level 32:
Curse Raid – Taunt – Ground Boom

From 33 to 36:
Curse Raid – Taunt – Slow Rage – Arcane Range – Ground Boom
Depending on monsters and party, use Silence and/or Stop Blow.

From level 37:
Darkness Blow – Taunt – Curse Raid – Slow Rage – Arcane Range – Ground Boom
Depending on monsters and party, use Silence and/or Stop Blow.

REC/DEX HYBRID

This build became available with the advance of ep. 5.2 update. Stat point distribution is the same as for REC/DEX tanker – 2 points in DEX per level and the rest in REC. You can’t make NM hybrid tank that is any good.

Basic tanking abilities are the same as for REC/DEX tanker but skill point distribution is pretty much different and you would need more gold to keep this build going. Unfortunately, you must sacrifice some good skills and very carefully distribute skill points.

With this build you can be a great tanker and, at the same time, you can:
- do all the quests solo
- grind solo
- plvl some of your friends
- play a big role in PvP

REC/DEX hybrid skills

Skills that make you stronger, faster or improve your recovery time:
Max skills BODY TRAINING, HEAVY WEAPON POWER UP, SHIELD DEFENSE UP, RELAX BODY, HEAVY WEAPON MASTERY, POTENTIAL AVOID

"Power" skills:
Max UNTOUCHABLE.
Level 1 for MELEE REFLECTOR.

Buffs (max them all):
INVINCIBLE WARRIOR, BATTLE CRY, CONCENTRATION, BASH, TACTICAL FORMATION, AURA ABSORPTION.

Debuffs:
Max skills TAUNT, PANIC, CURSE RAID, GROUND BOOM.
Level 2 for DARKNESS BLOW, STOP BLOW, SILENCE BLOW.
Level 1 for SLOW RAGE, ARCANE RANGE.

Attack skills:
Max skills HEAVY SWAT, POLLUTION ZONE, BEHEMOTH RANGE, DETONATION.

Max skill TOWN PORTAL and put points in BACKPACK UPGRADE as much as you can.

PvP skills (if needed):
PROTECTION CHARGE, DEMON HUSHING, MENTAL IMPACT.

Optional skills are SECURE GUARD, AROUSE BLOW, HEALTH DRAIN.

REC/DEX hybrid armor

MAIN THING !!! For this build you would need 2 sets of armor: warrior set and tanker set. That’s all. Use them as the opportunity arises. Just take care to always have large amount of SP/MP orange stats on your armor.

Since PANIC, CURSE RAID, DETONATION and MENTAL IMPACT have WIS based accuracy, this build needs more WIS than the others. So, in tanker set link Dual Wise Lv3 and Lv4 whenever you can.

REC/DEX hybrid tactics

Party pull is the same as for REC/DEX tank build, all the way. Difference is this build can do solo grind. You can do it in 2 ways.

First option is to pull 1 monster using Panic and when it comes close, you hit it with Heavy Swat. Then you pull another mob and do the same way. When you have enough mobs around you, then you make few steps backward so the mobs create compact formation. At that moment, you hit them with all AoE skills that you have. This is your main way of killing until level 32 and it’s useful after that also.

Second way is to do “body pull” on monsters and when they make compact formation you hit them with all AoE skills that you have in your arsenal. This is usually not enough, so you will have to wait for skills to recharge and use them all over again. High defense and evasion rate would make it safe to grind this way.

Good thing with this build is that after lvl 33 you can make duo with mage that is lower level than you. All that mages need to do is activate Fire Thorn skill, wait in safe spot for Taunt, then stand close to defender and cast their attack skills in random order. Because of your high REC they cant take away agro from you after using Taunt. You just use your attack skills like you do when fighting solo.

Also, defender often encounters parties with low overall damage and your attack skills (Pollution Zone, Detonation) would make significant impact on party performance in such cases.

Skills in revolver – when attacking

Until level 32:
Panic – Heavy Swat – Curse Raid – Ground Boom – Detonation

From 33 to 36:
Curse Raid – Pollution Zone – Silence Blow – Stop Blow – Slow Rage – Arcane Range – Ground Boom – Detonation

From level 37:
Darkness Blow – Pollution Zone – Curse Raid – Silence Blow – Stop Blow – Slow Rage – Arcane Range – Behemoth Range – Ground Boom – Detonation

BATTLE BUILD

This build requires a lot of previous experience as a tanker. No matter if you are NM, HM or UM tanker you should put 2 stat points in dexterity every level and the rest in STR. So, for example, it would be 5 str / 2 dex for HM BB (battle build).

Until last ep 5.2 update, battle defenders were not even trying to pull mobs for party or in duo with a mage. Few players would even try to make HM BB. It was mostly solo build reserved for Ultimate Mode. But with the advance of Aura Absorption and Pollution Zone, HM BB became all round player, excellent tanker, grinding machine and devastator in PvP. All of that without enormous funds that UM usually requires. Recapitulation:

- solo play is main characteristic of this build. It is the fastest solo grinder in Shaiya
- evasion rate is good but you would need defense from dual lapis to compensate for low REC
- AoE debuffs and AoE attack skills are basic tools for this build
- character can’t hold or bring back agro on monsters in the game without great effort cause it has low REC. Holding agro requires constant use of AoE skills and debuffs

BB skills

Skills that make you stronger, faster or improve your recovery time:
Max skills BODY TRAINING, HEAVY WEAPON POWER UP, SHIELD DEFENSE UP, RELAX BODY, HEAVY WEAPON MASTERY, POTENTIAL AVOID.

"Power" skills:
Max UNTOUCHABLE.
Level 1 for MELEE REFLECTOR.

Buffs (max them all):
INVINCIBLE WARRIOR, BATTLE CRY, HARD SKIN, CONCENTRATION, BASH, TACTICAL FORMATION, AURA ABSORPTION.

Debuffs:
Max skills PANIC, CURSE RAID, GROUND BOOM.
Level 2 for DARKNESS BLOW, STOP BLOW, SILENCE BLOW.
Level 1 for SLOW RAGE, ARCANE RANGE.

Attack skills:
Max skills POLLUTION ZONE, BEHEMOTH RANGE.

PvP skills:
PROTECTION CHARGE, DEMON HUSHING

Max skill TOWN PORTAL and put points in BACKPACK UPGRADE as much as you can.

Optional skills are HEAVY SWAT, AROUSE BLOW, DETONATION.

BB armor

Until level 50 find heroics/dreads with decent orange HP/SP/MP stats on it and link lvl 3 lapis Craft, Shrewd, Fortune, Mental, Vigor.

When you get your hand on Dread/Legendary Adamas armor, link it with:
Dual Craft Lv2, Dual Shrewd Lv1, Dual Fortune Lv4.
The rest of slots fill with Duals Craft/Shrewd/Fortune at your disposal.

Also, try to have as much orange HP/SP/MP stats on armor as possible. Do the same with your shield.

BB weapon

As for the weapon, link it with Craft/Assault/Shrewd/Fortune lapis at your disposal. At level 45 you MUST have your epic weapon. Elemental damage on your weapon will add +40% to your entire damage (weapon + stats + lapis) when you hit weak element monster (for example, water against fire). Also, when you hit monster without element, you will gain +20% to entire damage. Finally, when you hit monster with neutral element, there will be no penalty, so it is again +20% compared with your weapon without elemental damage. Problem is when you attack monster with stronger element (for example, fire against water). In that case, you take penalty -20% damage and you should change your weapon for such monsters. Also, epic weapon is 1 level faster than most slotted 1 hand heavy weapons.

If you have time and nerves, level up 3 more characters (NM goes fastest) to level 43 and complete all epic quests so you can get 4 epic weapons. In 2nd part of 43 epic quest you can change elemental damage on your weapon. Try to have all of the elements (water, fire, earth and wind) so you can switch them in battle as u need. Epic weapons can not be dropped after defeat in PvP battle, so you can have them all the time in your inventory. Just be careful not to sell them to NPC…

Players with huge funds and billions in gold can link elemental lapis in their slotted weapon together with some Duals and Lv5 lapis. But that’s not the issue for this topic.

BB tactics

Party pull is the same as for REC/DEX tank build but you can’t pull red/purple mobs in most dungeons. As stated before, this is mainly attack build. For better results buy tanker`s armor and wear it, especially in case when there are good damage dealers besides you in a party.

Solo grind goes the same as for REC/DEX hybrid build. One thing that makes difference is that you don’t have to wait for skills to recharge but you can finish mobs fast with your normal attack.

Because of low REC player with BB should apply one trick: Find mobs that don’t have ranged attack. Pull them and make them form a compact formation. When you start hitting them with your AoE skills, after Stop Blow run few steps away and you will be safe at distance while Pollution Zone still does damage over time. When mobs approach again, continue with your attack skill sequence. By the time you use the last skill in a row, Darkness Blow should be almost ready for use and you just continue attacking as the skills in revolver cool down 1 by 1.

Finally, there is one more option for BB – duo with healer that has Frost Barrier skill. It goes like this: you do “body pull” of orange/red monsters and start hitting them with your AoE skills while healer heals you. After you took agro with 3 attack skills, healer runs into mobs with activated Frost Barrier. If you and healer do it right, you should be able to gain the fastest exp per min in the game.

Duo with mage as mentioned in hybrid tactics is usually not possible because mages too often take agro from BB (low REC) and mages cant survive after taking agro like healers do.

Skills in revolver

Until level 32:
Panic – Heavy Swat – Curse Raid – Ground Boom

From 33 to 36:
Curse Raid – Pollution Zone – Silence Blow – Stop Blow – Slow Rage – Arcane Range – Ground Boom

From level 37:
Darkness Blow – Pollution Zone – Curse Raid – Silence Blow – Stop Blow – Slow Rage – Arcane Range – Behemoth Range – Ground Boom

Such sequence of skills is important because of cool down time and damage reduction.

As a basis for this skill list I used Avyn`s guide for defenders but informations about skills needed a lot of modifications cause of the last Ep. 5.2 update.

BODY TRAINING

Raises defense rating.

Suggestion: Yes.

SHARPEN WEAPON POWER UP

Increases attack power when equipped with a one-handed sword or axe. Skip this skill cause one hand heavy weapons have better damage and better stats.

Suggestion: No.

HEAVY WEAPON POWER UP

Increases attack power when equipped with a one-handed or two-handed mace

Suggestion: Battle build, REC/DEX hybrid.

TWO-HAND WEAPON POWER UP

Increases attack power when equipped with a two-handed sword or axe. Absolutely useless for defender cause two hander is preventing you from wearing shield and you need shield in every aspect of this game.

Suggestion: No.

SHIELD DEFENSE UP – HM/UM Skill

Increases your defense power when equipped with a shield. Does not show defense increase in character statistics window.

Suggestion: Yes.

RELAX BODY

Increases HP/MP/SP regeneration rate while resting.

Suggestion: Yes.

BACKPACK UPGRADE

Adds a 3rd/4th/5th backpack slot

Suggestion: Yes.

INTERPRETATION

Interprets 30/60/100% of enemy language in form of random letters from sentences. At lvl 3 you can really understand what they are saying, so it is useful only at lvl 3.

Suggestion: Only if PvPing.

SHARPEN WEAPON MASTERY

Increases attack speed when equipped with a one handed sword or axe.

Suggestion: No.

HEAVY WEAPON MASTERY

Increases attack speed and cast speed when equipped with a one-handed or two-handed mace.

Suggestion: Yes.

TWO-HAND MASTERY

Increases attack speed when equipped with a two-handed sword

Suggestion: No.

TOWN PORTAL

Teleports you to the nearest town or spawn location. Cast time 10/9/8 sec. Recharge time 10 sec.

Suggestion: Yes.

HARD SKIN

Buff that increases physical defense and HP by a small amount for 15 min. At lvl 6 adds +1115 HP and +48 physical defense for total cost of 15 skill points. No recharge time.

Suggestion: Battle build.

CONCENTRATION

Buff that increases accuracy. No recharge time.

Suggestion: Yes.

BASH

Buff that increases critical hit rating. No recharge time.

Suggestion: Battle build, REC/DEX hybrid.

TAUNT

Provokes nearby enemies (range 3-4m) to attack caster with increasing effectiveness (Rec based). Recharge time 20 sec.

Suggestion: Tankers max it, others as needed.

HEAVY SWAT

Melee DoT skill that deals damage every 3 sec for 18 sec (Dex based accuracy). Useful at lower levels for all builds (especially on bosses and red/purple mobs), later becomes obsolete. No recharge time – spammable.

Suggestion: REC/DEX, maybe BB.

MAGIC SKIN – UM Skill

Buff that increases magic resistance by a small amount for 15 min. At lvl 6 adds +118 resistance for total cost of 10 skill points. No recharge time.

Suggestion: No.

SELF DISPEL – HM/UM Skill

Removes abnormal conditions from self with higher skill levels removing more effects. Needed level 3 to make any use of it.

Suggestion: No (too long recharge time – 90 sec).

SELF AID – HM/UM Skill

Instantly restores HP + Wis to self (Wis based). Few defenders today have some WIS in their build.

Suggestion: No.

PROTECTION CHARGE

Has STUN (2 secs) and huge added damage that can crit together with basic damage. Dex based accuracy, does not work on mobs with immunities to abnormal conditions. Recharge time 30 sec.

Suggestion: Only if PvPing.

CURSE RAID

Decreases physical attack power with 3m range of target. Battle build can make good use of it when pulling large group of orange/red mobs in duo. No recharge time. It says "100% success" but that is not true, skill misses often on red/purple mobs and it has WIS based accuracy, most probably.

Suggestion: Yes.

PANIC

Decreases target defense from a distance of 24m (pulling is successful 100% but decreasing damage fails often – WIS based accuracy, most probably). Now that you can see all debuffs on your target, it is much more useful. Also good for interrupting healers in PvP. No recharge time.

Suggestion: Tankers only Lv1. Others max it.

SACRIFICE

Level 1 restores target`s entire SP/MP pool by spending your remaining SP/MP pools.
Level 2 restores target`s HP for amount equal to your max HP by spending your remaining SP/MP pools.
Level 3 restores target`s entire HP by spending your remaining SP/MP pools.
Enemy attack disrupts casting, so you can use it only after Untouchable. At level 3 can target yourself in party or by pressing F1. Recharge time 600 sec.

Suggestion: No (maybe full REC if has spare points).

AROUSE BLOW

Has nice added damage that can crit together with basic damage. Also provokes target into attacking caster with increasing effectiveness for every level (Dex based accuracy, Rec based effect). No recharge time – spammable.

Suggestion: Only REC/DEX lvl 1 (max if PvPing).

GROUND BOOM

Deals AoE damage + small added attack that can crit together with basic damage and causes Slow (Dex based accuracy). At lvl 3 slowing down is maximal and higher level adds only damage and range. Recharge time 60 sec.

Suggestion: REC/DEX tank only Lv3. Attackers max it.

ENERGY CONTROL – UM Skill

Buff that increases total SP.

Suggestion: No (maybe Lv1 but only if u lack SP orange stats on your armor).

DARKNESS BLOW

Deals regular damage and causes Darkness (Dex based accuracy). AoE from lvl 2. Higher level increases duration and range. Recharge time 30 sec.

Suggestion: Yes.

STOP BLOW

Deals regular damage and causes Stop (Dex based accuracy). AoE from lvl 2. Higher level increases duration and range. Recharge time 30 sec.

Suggestion: Only lvl 2.

SILENCE BLOW

Deals regular damage and causes Silence (Dex based accuracy). AoE from lvl 2. Higher level increases duration and range. Recharge time 30 sec.

Suggestion: Only lvl 2 (max if PvPing).

POLLUTION ZONE – HM/UM skill

Melee DoT skill that deals damage (lv.1 – 242 / lv.2 – 437 / lv.3 – 650) every 3 sec for 18 sec around caster in range of 4m (Dex based accuracy). All builds can make use of it in PvE. Recharge time 30 sec.

Suggestion: Attackers max it, others if have spare points.

PROVOKE – HM/UM Skill

Provokes target into attacking you from a range of 3m with 80% success.

Suggestion: No. (maybe full REC in PvP zone)

SLOW RAGE – HM/UM Skill

AoE skill that deals regular damage around target and causes Slow with 100% success. Higher level increases duration and range. Recharge time 48 sec.

Suggestion: Full REC max. The rest only lvl 1.

ARCANE RANGE – HM/UM Skill

AoE skill that deals regular damage around target and decreases evasion with 100% success. Higher level increases effect and range. Recharge time 48 sec.

Suggestion: Full REC max. The rest only lvl 1.

MAGIC RANGE (Remove Range) – UM Skill

Removes element from target for 3 secs (AoE). Level 2 and 3 of this skill are bugged cause leveling up skill makes no difference.

Suggestion: No.

BEHEMOTH RAGE – UM Skill

AoE skill that deals regular damage plus nice additional damage (Dex based accuracy). Useful for keeping agro in desert. Recharge time 48 sec.

Battle: Attackers max it. Tankers lvl 1

PROVOKE RAGE – UM Skill

Provokes all targets within range into attacking you with 80% accuracy.

Suggestion: Only PvPing tankers.

Buff that grants immunity to all types of direct attacks for 9/13/18 sec. Level 2 lasts long enough to use Town Portal and escape in PvP OR to use Sacrifice and recharge instantly entire HP pool in PvE. Recharge time 300 sec.

SECURE GUARD

"Untouchable" that can be casted on the other toon. Can target yourself in party or by pressing F1. Lasts 6/9/12 sec depending on level. Only lvl 3 makes you able to cast Town Portal or Sacrifice. Recharge time 600 sec.

Suggestion: At least lvl 1.

HEALTH DRAIN

Melee attack that deals fixed damage and drains small amount of HP from target with given accuracy of 85%.

Suggestion: No (maybe REC/DEX if you have spare points).

DEMON HUSHING

Deals basic and nice additional physical damage to target from a range of 6m (Dex based accuracy). Recharge time 3 secs – almost spammable.

Suggestion: Only attackers, only if PvPing.

MELEE REFLECTOR

Reflects all melee physical damage received to the attacker during 6/9/12 secs. Very expensive skill looking at skill point cost. Does not work on mobs with immunities to abnormal conditions.

Suggestion: At least lvl 1.

POWER OF GUARD – HM/UM Skill

Buff that grants immunity to all types of attacks for all party members.

Suggestion: At least lvl 1 for tankers.

DAYFLY SHIELD HM/UM

Reflects all damage received back to enemy for all party members (5/25/40 secs per lvl)
Does not work on mobs with immunities to abnormal conditions.

Suggestion: Tankers max.

ELATE

Increases REC of a target for 12 secs but spends entire SP/MP pull of caster. Can target yourself in party or by pressing F1. Some BB`s use it in combo Elate – super potion – Detonation. Recharge time 30 sec.

DETONATION

AOE skill that deals damage around caster equal to characters REC (double at lvl 2, triple at lvl 3) – WIS based accuracy. Damage also increases with higher INT and decreases with targets magic resistance. Recharge time 60 sec.

Suggestion: REC/DEX hybrid.

ABSORPTION AURA

Buff that gives damage absorption for all party members during 180 secs. Don’t have to use Armor lapisia if you have this skill Smile The best of all def/guard skills. No recharge time.

Suggestion: Yes.

MENTAL IMPACT

Melee attack with abnormal condition that deals fixed damage to single target + damage equal to characters REC. Recharge time 120 secs. Abnormal condition prevents target from attacking you (opposite player attacks himself for some time ?).

Suggestion: Only REC/DEX for PvP.
