This is a quest guide for random lapis rewards available for lvl50+ toons belonging to the Union of Fury. There is a possibility of receiving a debuff lapis or a lvl 5 lapis as top rewards. But there is also a high possibility of receiving lapis as low as lvl 3. The reward is totally random and there really is no way to determine what you might get (as of yet but that may change as more information is gathered and shared amongst us). You can do this quest a total of three times. It requires an initiating item called "Dwarf Distinguishing Mark".

(1) I’ve had the best possible drop rate for the Dwarf Distinguishing Mark from the Redeye Black Bears and Antrax Contagious Brown Bears (denoted in the figure). Once you attain the quest item and you’re of the right level, the quest pops up. There are other areas where this quest item can be got but I haven’t had much luck elsewhere, so, I haven’t listed the other areas.
(2) Once you’ve got the quest, you need to meet a dwarf. Here, he asks you collect specific lapis pieces (the type varies each time you initiate this quest). The quest log says that you’re required to collect atleast 10. However, collecting more than 10 doesn’t really increase your chances of getting a better lapis as your final reward or getting more exp or gold (though a little confirmation would be better).
(3) This is where a Blacksmith resides to whom you hand in the lapis piece that you get from the dwarf to receive your reward and thus, complete the quest.
(4) The first time you initiate the quest, you’re required to find Red Lapis pieces. You can get them from Astenes White Monkeys. They’re Earth elemental and should be green to a lvl 51 toon.
(5) Your second run on this quest requires you to collect 10 or more Blue Lapis pieces from Hungkerr Viper Wizards and Hungkerr Viper Hunters. They’re water elemental and should be green to a lvl 53 toon.
(6) On your third run, you embark on collecting Yellow Lapis pieces from Endia Evil Spirit Wizards and Endia Evil Spirit Iron Golems. They’re fire elemental and are green to a lvl 55 toon.
Basic outline of the quest:-
* Obtain the Dwarf Distinguishing mark. The quest pops up depending on your level.
* Take the quest item to the Dwarf. He asks you to collect specific lapis pieces.
* After you collect sufficient amount of lapis pieces, take them back to the Dwarf. He gives you one of those pieces.
* You’re now required to take that piece of lapis which the dwarf gave you to a Blacksmith residing in the village.
* The Blacksmith examines the piece that you’ve brought and an Imperfect Lapis is placed in your inventory. This Imperfect Lapis has the same icon as the Adamars Stone.
* Cross as many fingers as humanly possible and click on this Imperfect Lapis. Hopefully, you’ll get a good lapis as a reward.
Side note:- Theaitetos suggests that when you receive the lapis piece from the dwarf to take it to the Blacksmith, the quest remains active. So, you can kill the mob that you killed to collect the 10 lapis pieces to collect more lapis pieces before taking them to the Blacksmith.
The first time I did that, I collected 10 for the Dwarf and 32 before taking the lapis pieces to the Blacksmith and I received a lvl 5 Assault lapis. The second time, I collected 14 for the Dwarf and 38 for the Blacksmith and resulted in a lvl 4 Fortune lapis. As you can see, the quest reward is totally random. Look through this topic to get an idea of how random the reward is. So, it is totally up to you to decide how many lapis pieces at what stage you want to collect.
