Hi all!
I’m Grimnirwher9. I play at Teos Alliance of Light and I’m a member of the KnightsOfAnarchy guild. My main character is a level 54 HM Fighter named Doublecut.

I used to try and search information about accessories, something similar to .WheresLupers’ AMAZING guide for fighters (nice piece of work, Chi!), but for some reason, such a guide doesn’t seem to exist. O.o
So, the good and sweet lad I am, I took a deep breath, opened Word, visited all the Accessory Merchants I could find and the Auction House, and started writing this guide. May it prove useful and provide information to those who wonder.
I even died only three times while checking the Accessory Merchants. A Warrior Wind Spun me to pieces in Stable Erde (and thanks, AbsoluteZero ò.ó), some monster in Deep Desert 1 nuked me back to Karis (ok, I admit I was trespassing), and I got pwned by some kind of vegetable in Deep Desert 2 (how pathetic is that?).

Of course, I doubt this guide is complete, so if you have any additional information or corrections, please let me know. It’ll be added to this guide, and so will your name (unless you don’t want that, of course).
Some information about the Accessory Merchants and the Rare Bosses when playing Union of Fury would also be great.

1) How to equip accessories?

There are three different types of accessory: Rings, Amulets and Loops. When equipped, they’ll appear in five of the six slots in the upper right corner of your inventory window (these are the small slots, highlighted with red in the picture).

Most accessories can be equipped by all classes; however, some can be worn by only one faction or gender (discriminating much?).

Rings:

Apparently Shaiya characters have lumps, rather than actual hands with fingers, so you can equip only two Rings. They will appear in the slots with the number 1 at the picture. The first rings become equipable at level 10. These are the Craft Ring Lv1 and the Mystic Ring Lv1.

Amulets:

Obviously, you can wear only one Amulet at the time – we don’t grow two heads. The first Amulet can be equipped at level 14; that would either be the Fortune Amulet Lv1 or the Shrewd Amulet Lv1.

Loops:

Same as with the rings, you can wear two loops at the same time, but you won’t ever equip them before level 18; then the Safe Loop Lv1 and the Wise Loop Lv1 become equipable.

2) Where can I get my accessories?

There are Accessory Merchants in most, if not all main towns / villages in the world of Teos Epeiros. However, some accessories can’t be bought from NPC’s. They are only given as quest reward or dropped by certain monsters (in Adellia and Oblivion Insula).
Some of the Accessory Merchants sell Teleport Stones and Recall Runes as well.

These are either quest rewards or monster drops.

4) Linking accessories

The slotted accessories can be linked with several kinds of lapis – obviously. The only lapis’s that can be linked onto accessories are Mental and Vigor lapis and special Accessory Lapis’s.
Mental Lapis adds Mana (MP), Vigor Lapis adds Stamina (SP). The amount depends on the level of the lapis, as does the linking chance. The linking chance has also a 5% difference for players of different levels for lapis Lv1~5.

Mental Lapis
Lv1: +60 MP; 46~50% chance to link at full bless
Lv2: +125 MP; 38~42% chance to link at full bless
Lv3: +200 MP; 30~34% chance to link at full bless
Lv4: +240 MP; 14~18% chance to link at full bless
Lv5: +400 MP; 6~10% chance to link at full bless
Lv6: +600 MP; always 1% chance to link; will break the accessory upon failure
Lv7: +900 MP; always 1% chance to link; will break the accessory upon failure; takes 2 slots

Vigor Lapis
Lv1: +50 SP; 46~50% chance to link at full bless
Lv2: +100 SP; 38~42% chance to link at full bless
Lv3: +180 SP; 30~34% chance to link at full bless
Lv4: +220 SP; 14~18% chance to link at full bless
Lv5: +360 SP; 6~10% chance to link at full bless
Lv6: +500 SP; always 1% chance to link; will break the accessory upon failure
Lv7: +750 SP; always 1% chance to link; will break the accessory upon failure; takes 2 slots

All Accessory Lapis’s add two different stats. They all have a 1% linking chance, no matter how high bless is, so you may want to use an Operator’s Exclusive to link these. Lucky Charms are also useful, since both the lapis and the item will break upon failure.

Rasio Lapis: +7 STR & +6 LUC
Rasyo Lapis: +7 STR & +6 DEX
Decd Lapis: +7 DEX & +6 LUC
Decdsy Lapis: +7 DEX & +6 WIS
Act Lapis: +7 REC & +6 STR
Loact Lapis: +7 REC & +6 INT
Inter Lapis: +7 INT & +6 REC
Interser Lapis: +7 INT & +6 WIS
Adi Lapis: +7 WIS & +6 INT
Adio Lapis: +7 WIS & +6 STR
Roser Lapis: +7 LUC & +6 STR
Rosers Lapis: +7 LUC & +6 DEX

Lapis can be purchased from other players or farmed at certain locations. Most of these locations are PvP zones.

Lapis farming locations:
- LV1 Lapis: Proelium Frontier (PvP 1~15)
- LV2 Lapis: Cantabilian (PvP 20~30), starter monsters near Karis Castle in D-Water Borderland (PvP 1~60), and Pharos Temple (the dungeon in Cantabilian); Pharos is probably the best place because UoF players can’t come there.
- LV3 Lapis: almost all monsters in D-Water Borderland (PvP 1~60)
Borderland (PvP 1~60)
- LV4 Lapis: in the two dungeons in D-Water Borderland: Tragos Cavum (AKA D1) and Water Dragon Lair (AKA D2)
- LV5 Lapis: inside the Cave of Stigma (the dungeon in Adellia (Map 3)) and from Relic Guard Monsters in D-Water Borderland (PvP 1~60)
- LV6 Lapis: Oblivion Insula
- LV7 Lapis: doesn’t drop; LV7 Stat Lapis’s aren’t released yet
- Accessory Lapis: Deep Desert 2 (DD2)

5) Which accessories should I wear?

Up to you, but some options are more likely than others. If you are a Fighter/Warrior, for example, you probably want to wear Craft Rings (STR) rather than Mystic Rings (INT).
Linked slotted accessories add more stat points than other accessories ever could, but they’re very expensive. For each attempt to link them, you’ll probably want an Operators’ Exclusive and a Lucky Charm. That’s more than 200 millions of gold to try once, and it gives you only 20% chance, so you can reckon on about 5 attempts par slot. That makes at least 1 billion of gold for each slot.
If you can afford it, I recommend 5 linked Heroic statted accessories (for example a Heroic Shrewd Amulet, 2 Heroic Safe Loops and 2 Heroic Craft Rings). For the ones among us who are less funded, level 5’s will do.
I would recommend thinking twice before buying “Best” Accessories. Personally, I think they have slightly misleading names. Yes, it adds points to all stats and that looks spectacular, but you won’t probably need half of them, and there *may* be ways to add MORE points to the stats you actually need. It all depends on how many different stats you include in your build and how many stat points the accessories provide. For some builds, a Best Amulet simply rocks (especially when linked), but for other builds you better use something else.
About Sonic Amulets: Better don’t use them. Linking your boots with a Sonic costs 1 slot, wearing a Sonic amulet instead of a Heroic one costs 3, means you’re probably sacrificing more potentional stat points.
Flash Rings: same, unless you really really want maximal attacking speed. Flash Lapis increases your attack speed with only one level. No problem for Rangers/Assassins, but if you’re a Fighter/Warrior, even Mastery level 2 and a Flash Lapis get you "only" Very Fast, so if you really really want to reach the Extremely Fast attacking speed, you may want to use one or even two Flash Ring.
Both Flash Rings and Sonic Amulets are incredibly expensive though, mainly because they drop in an area that you can reach only at certain times, where it’s hard to kill, and they are a pretty rare drop.

6) Rare Bosses

Some accessories (the Darkwall ones) drop from the so-called Rare Bosses (also called Rare Mobs sometimes). Since they are rare, I assume some players would appreciate some more information about them as well.
There are, as far as I know, 10 Rare Bosses all over Willieoseu (map 2) and 15 in Adellia (map 3). They take 72 hours (3 days and 3 nights) to respawn. This means they spawn only a few times a week: once right after the weekly server maintenance, once 3 days later, which will probably be somewhere during the weekend, and once Tuesdays as well, except if they survived longer than 24 hours before.
These bosses are stronger than they look like. I killed the Tigers in Adellia with a level 50ish hard mode fighter with rather awesome equipment (they were green for me back then, if I remember correctly), and I had to outkite them. Yes, that’s right, a kiting fighter. Anyway, don’t mind the colors, for they ARE misleading.

I’ll just list the bosses here. Some of them are in a snowy environment on the pictures, but that is only because I made some of the screenshots during the 2009 Christmas Patch; they are not actually in the snow the entire year.
I’m not entirely sure if the Rare Bosses in Adellia drop Darkwall Accessories too, but I’ve listed them nonetheless. They DO drop limited Remedies, however, so it may be interesting anyway.

Willieoseu:

A. Bulky Guy

A grey bear with red glowing eyes (just like the bears east of Fedion). He spawns on the little isle in the lake east of the Goblin camp. He’s not hard to distinguish from the other bears on the island because the others are brown. You can’t see his name at the picture because it’s somewhere in its chest.

B. Naughty Kamal

A Sealakel. He’s with the Sealakel Hunters in the lake east of the Goblin camp, just north of the island with the bears. He surely is naughty: he kept turning his back to me when I tried to take a screenshot of him XD

C. Gosros

This is a tall Orc archer. He’s located northwest of Maitreyan, west of the Maitreyan Wyvern.

D. Shirop

An enormous Spider, east of the Maitreyan Wyvern, with the other Spiders northeast of Maitreyan itself. I can’t help it, but this name always makes me think of pancake syrup O.o

E. Strider Birum

Another Orc archer. He’s kind of a coward: while the entire Bloodwolf Clan is protecting the bridge leading to Maitreyan, this one is hiding underneath!

F. Watcher Hubble

A Beholder/Watcher in King Kong size. He’s just North of Maitreyan, with the other Beholders and the Gargoyles. His name is rather funny: Hubble is the name of an important NASA space telescope XD.

G. Mysterious Arbin

This Gargoyle is somewhat taller than the other ones. He can be found south of Maitreyan, above the “t” in Willieoseu Central Beacon Mound” on your map. Be careful with this one, it uses a nasty Dark Sigil debuff, which prevents you from attacking.

H. Chief Silver

This white Wolf lives with the other wolves at the road from Silvaren to Elaste Valley. He can be found just north of the Elemental Cave. Indian… erm, sorry, Native American legends tell of a white wolf that used to help lost travelers. That story should be told to Chief Silver, because all HE ever does is attacking travelers, rather than helping them -.-

I. Water Wen Old Man

A blue Toad (or Frog, if you want). He’s a bit tricky to find, since he can spawn at two locations: either in the marsh with the Leopardesses and the Antelopes, between Fedion and Haldeck Farm and in the lake south of it, where Mad Fisher is. I’ve seen it at both places. He’s slightly bigger than the other Frogs in Mad Fisher’s lake.

J. Hunter Molen

This is a leopard. He’s with the other Leopards south of White Sand Harbor, where the pirates are. He can be distinguished from the other dark Leopards by the pattern on his back: he has light spots, while the other dark ones have light stripes.

Adellia:

A. Intrepid Tiger

This boss looks like a male Hunter (Fury equivalent of Archer), but slightly taller than the ones surrounding him. He can be found among the other Fury-like mobs just north of the camp in the southwest corner of the map.

B. Frenzied Tiger

This boss looks like a female Warrior (Fury equivalent of Fighter), but slightly taller than the ones surrounding her. She can be found among the other Fury-like mobs in the camp in the southwest corner of the map, or just outside. She’s the toughest of the three “Tigers.”

C. Drunken Tiger

This boss looks like a male Warrior (Fury equivalent of Fighter), but slightly taller than the ones surrounding him. He can be found among the other Fury-like mobs north of the camp in the southwestern corner of the map.

D. Gudulpa

This boss looks like a female Hunter (Fury equivalent of Archer). She’s with the Steel Golems and the Beholders at Aquilus Tor, in the south of the map. She’s one of the toughest Rare Bosses to kill!

E. Kimri General

This Dwarf boss can be found between the trees slightly southeast of the southern entrance of Presya Manor. He’s usually killed almost immediately, since he’s not hard to find because there are no other mobs around him.

F. Cast Iron Backshell

The official name of these turtle-like monsters in Adellia is “Tatoramo,” and that’s what Cast Iron Backshell looks like. He spawns between the Smalleye Tatoramo’s on the road just west of Sidelos Refinery. Beware of his Blackout debuff, it prevents you from both moving and attacking!

G. Daebu

I didn’t even know about this Goblin boss until I accidentally found him while searching for Kimri General. He’s in the “Black Market,” a small town southwest of Presya Manor, among some other Goblins.

H. Warlock Wooser

Orcs seem to have many chieftains. This is one of them. You can find him at the north side of the WarEdge Clan’s Town. It’s the same town where you have to kill another boss (Kiba Tull) for the famous level 43 Epic quest.

I. Scorching Rock

An extremely tall Rock Golem. He can be found slightly north of Huigronn Stronghold, on or next to the path leading to Meia Forest and the portal to Willieoseu (Map 2).

J. Nightrunner

This Nightmare Beetle Hunter boss hides among her brethren, not too far south of Huigronn Stronghold. She’s slightly bigger than the regular ones.

K. Speedy Hand Mec

One of the two rare Bosses in the Goblin camp east of Presya Manor. This one can be found in the northern part of the camp.

L. Steel Forearm

As if Ogres aren’t big enough yet, this one is even taller. He can be found among the Adellia Landers west of Meia Forest, near the northern part of Rapaltien Coast.

M. Ulkima

A red Wyvern boss, hiding among the other Wyverns who inhabit the dead Fields (the road between Burningstone Clan’s Mine and Rankesian Hills).

N. Priest Pero

Priest Pero is with the CopperPec Goblin Priests west of Meia Watch Tower, near the chief of the clan.

O. The Biggest Thief Killmer

This is one of the two Rare Bosses in the Goblin camp east of Presya Manor. This one can be found in the southern part of the camp.

7) Thanks to…

…all the people who helped me gathering information for this guide:
Trinity-Angel, who told me about some quest rewards;
-Merkz-, who told me where the Accessory Merchant in Deep Desert 1 was;
Praxia, who took me to the temple of Aedes Sacra in Deep Desert 2, where I found the Accessory merchant (and leeched a nice amount of EXP as well XD);
[GS]Ziggy, who got himself even killed by a Warrior when he wanted to check something at the Accessory Merchant in Stable Erde for me;
Smilys_Revnge, who grinded his butt off until he found out where Noble accessories drop;
U_Kitty_M, who infiltrated Teos UoF and spammed Trade Chat there until someone told her where to get the Fury-only-accessories;
TinkssToy, who took a screenshot of Warlock Wooser for me (I didn’t even know of his existence);
n3cr0m33p5, who made me aware of the fact that I forgot to mention the farming locations of LV4 Lapis;
xybolt, who told me about the Sinseal Loop,
[GS]MerlinMcTav, for his advice about the Best accessories and for adding this guide to the Shaiya General Guides tread,
and TulaOvilo, who said nothing I didn’t already know but made great efforts to try and help me nonetheless XD.

SPECIAL THANKS to Solaris85 and Mikel15. Both of them told me HEAPS of useful things.

Thank you, guys. I couldn’t have accomplished this without your help.
