Howling Mountains Quest Guide These are the quests that appear in the howling mountains map… Press CTRL + F to find your specific quest you are looking for. Pioneers Colony Bulletin Board (Daily Quests) Need More Fungus Stems (Reward) Control the Wolf Population (Reward) Reduce the Cave Crab Population (Reward) Pioneers Colony Avril: Drinking Lake Water (Reward) Go to white lake and carry some samples of water back to complete this quest. Avril: Filtering Carbon Stone (Reward) Go to Hidden Vally Mine and gather some Carbon Stone to complete this quest. Laif Cindai: Report In (Reward) All you need to do to finish this quest is report in to Leighton. Leighton: Claiming Weapons (Reward) Take weapon collection ticket to Mallor in town. Leighton: Posting Quests (Reward) Start accepting quests from pioneer colony bulletin board. Leighton: Support Gyor’s Task (Reward) Go to Hidden Valley Mines and get an update on how Gyor is doing. Shamp: Armor Gift Bag (Reward) Just talk to npc and the quest is finished. Shamp: Claiming Your Potions (Reward) Go To Reideen (Potion Merchant) to finish this quest. Dingle: Bringing Ore for Repair (Reward) Take the ore for repairs to Logar and give them to Cid to complete this quest. Reideen: Complete Preparations Experience: 45 Report to Leighton to complete quest. Leighton: Testing Your Skills (Reward) All you need to do is kill Funguses and collect 5 mushroom caps. Leighton: Lively Reward (Reward) Go to the rune scholar Port to finish the quest. Port: Embedding Runes (Reward) Right click a rune in your inventory and then left click an item that has a rune slot. Port: A friends concern (Reward) Talk to Shikka and find out what problems she has encountered. Shikka: Making Winter Clothes (Reward) Collect 5 wolf pelts from the wolves nearby. Shikka: Progress Update (Reward) Talk to Leighton to finish this quest. Leighton: Learn Herbalism (Reward) Go to herbalist Alice and recieve your training. Alice: Learn Woodcutting (Reward) Go to Wood to learn apprenticeship and recieve recipe. Wood: Learning Mining (Reward) Go to NPC Hansen to finish this quest. Wood: Singing Passion (Reward) Cut 5 Balsa Timbers and come back to wood to complete the quest. Lyrera: Trading Rocks (Reward) Collect 100 stone blocks and return to complete this quest. Lunga Plepler: Trading Zinc Ore (Reward) Collect 20 pieces of Brass Ore and sell them to Lunga Pleplar to complete quest. Lunga Plepler: Trading Ash (Reward) Collect 20 Balsa Wood and sell them to Lunga Pleplar Lyrera: Trading Wooden Arrows (Reward) Cellect 100 wooden arrows and take them back to Lyrera. Lunga Plepler: Trading Mountain Demon Grass (Reward) Collect 20 pieces of Mountain Poplar and bring back to Lunga Plepler to complete the quest. Leighton: Regular Report on Pioneers Colony (Reward) GO to George in Logar to complete the quest. George: A Fathers Distress (Reward) Look for Dion and find him in Dead Tree Cave and return to George to complete this quest. George: Milayas Origin (Reward) Talk to Vankelo who is in Barrow to complete this quest. Milaya: Hide and Go Seek (Reward) Go find Rey to complete this quest. Myconid Farm Nicolas: Capture Wild Fungi (Reward) You will get a lasso in your inventory… drag that into your action bar and get close to the wild fungi and press the lasso. Helen’s Farm
Mrs. Helen: Bear Fur Gloves (Reward) Collect 10 Hard Bear Skins and return to Helen with your reward. Mrs. Helen: Love Express (Reward) Go to Logar’s Mayor George to finish this quest. Mrs. Helen: Bought the Farm (Reward) You can find the Maidge Farmer under a tree nearby… you will need to talk to him and then kill hm to get the contract back to finish this quest. Logar
Logar Bulletin Board Stolen Tools (Reward) Kill Dobolds to get 10 damaged tools to complete this quest. Spider Venom (Reward) Collect 5 samples of Spider Venom to complete this quest. Drive Off the Bats (Reward) Kill 20 Wilt-Leaf Bats to complete this quest. Kobold Rampage (Reward) You must kill 20 Kobold Scouts to complete this quest. Annoying Beetles (Reward) You need to kill 20 Beetles to complete this quest. Wanted: That Greedy Guy Caldor (Reward) You need to obtain Kalod’s Tongue to complete this quest. Wanted: Pirlanok Servant (Reward) You need to hung Perlanok Servant and bring back a Demon Spiders Tooth to complete this quest. Wanted: Lost Soul of Tifka (Reward) You need to obtain Tifka’s magical Essense to complet this quest. Starving Wolves (Reward) Kill 20 wolves and return to logar to complete this quest. Collect Boar Teeth (Reward) Go collect 5 boar tusks and return to Logar to complete this quest. Sharp Bear Claw (Reward) Go and obtain 5 bear claws and return to Logar to complete this quest. George: Golden Statue Auction (Reward) To to O’shel at the autcion house and ask about the statue to complete this quest. George: A letter from Varanas (Reward) Give the Guard intruction Letter to Furganda to complete this quest. George: Check in with the Adventurers Guild (Reward) To complete this quest go to Varanas city and talk to Derek of the Adventurers Guild. George: Meet the Mage Instructor (Reward) Go to the Mage instructor Casaray in Varanas City to obtain duel class after you have reached level 10. George: A Necklace is a Girl’s Best Friend (Reward) Go talk to Dell and bring the drafting papter about milayas necklace. George: Final Clue (Reward) Go to the Barren Caves of Barrow and kill Anglie to complete this quest… make sure to form a large party and get a tank to kill this boss. Dell: Strange Request (Reward) Go find some beetles and remove their internal organs to complete this quest. Dell: A Beautiful Necklace (Reward) GO collect 10 beetle eyeballs to complete this quest. Dell: Assist the Mayor (Reward) Give George the letter from Varanas City to complete this quest. Dell: Pattern Everywhere (Reward) Go back to George and tell him the pattern and the drafting paper are the same. Gil: Not Your Grandmothers Soup (Reward) Go to Dell and give him the Fresh Beetle Soup to finish this quest. Narfas: Treasure Hunt (Reward) Find the hidden treasures that Narfas has hidden. Make sure to click on the intructions for the hunt before you start. Narfas: Hunt – Stage 1 (Reward) Go to Hidden Valley Mines and go to the end and click the mound of dirt to complete stage 1. Narfas: Hunt – Stage 2 (Reward) Go to Moongorge and find the mound of dirt deep into the cave to obtain a locked box. You will need to talk to Justin outside the cave and complete his quest to have him open the box. Narfas: Hunt – Stage 3 Experience: 228 Take the Healing Spring Water to Sharlin. Then go into Dead Tree Cave and find another mound of dirt deep into the cave for the treasure. Narfas: Water Dragon – Zanordoth (Reward) Go to the entrance of the Moongorge cave and place the treasures of Narfas in the puddle. Narfas: Treasure Hunt – Stage 4 (Reward) Go to barrn caves and find the mound of dirt deep into the cave and deliver the box you recieve to Katrina to complete this quest. Narfas Treasure Map Narfas: Narfas Recommendation (Reward) After completion of the treasure hunt stages you can start a new epic quest chain by delivering Narfas Letter to Marisus. Cid: Insufficient Repair Materials (Reward) Go to pioneers colony and find Dingle for some ore to repair the equipment. Cid: Bring Back the Repaired Weapons (Reward) To near the Barrow and bring the repaired weapons to Furganda to complete this quest. Highly-Skilled Doctor: Gathering Spider Venom (Reward) Go to Sevalda Woods and gather the venom from wild spiders. Highly-skilled Doctor (Reward) Go to Katrina to get her response to complete this quest. Highly-skilled Doctor: Daisy’s Trouble (Reward) Go to daisy to complete this quest and have her explain her disease. Highly-skilled Doctor: Dead Tree Cave Samples (Reward) Go to dead tree cave and get Deadwood Spider Fluid and Bat Saliva and return to complete this quest. Highly-skilled Doctor: Got a Bad Feeling About This… (Reward) Go into the Dead Tree Cave and find the powerful Magic Gathering Point and use the crystal given to you to finish this quest. Daisy: A Bit Worrying (Reward) Daisy: Things That Go Bump in the Night (Reward) Go to Moongorge and destroy the Shadow Hungry Greyce to complete this quest and get a great reward. Once you take the portal make sure to run past all the mobs to the end and keep pots handy if you need them. If you stop to fight one you will get mobbed. Daisy: Strenght of the Seal (Reward) Go back to Sharlin and tell hear about the spear to defeat Pirlanok. Rey: Where are you, Peter? (Reward) Go towards Moongorge and find peter to complete this quest. O’Shel: Golden Statue Letter (Reward) Go to Logar mailbox and find the letter of return to complete the quest. Logar Mailbox: Ruturn of the Golden Statue (Reward) George: House Angel (Reward) Go to Meydo to complete this quest and get a house and some great storage space! Meydo: Registering Your Transport Portal (Reward) Go to Christine to complete this quest. Hinhus: Aymi is not food! (Reward) Go to Barren Caves and obtain the rabbit Aymi for Hinhus to complete this quest.
Wells: Porgy’s Whereabouts (Reward) Travel the road to Silversprings to find Mike and ask about the whereabouts of porgy. Wells: Porgys Savior (Reward) Go into Varanas city and talk to Bakejam to find a cure for porgy (He is at the entrance to the city). Black Bolton: Strong Boars (Reward) Kill the wild boars nearby to finish this quest. Katrina: Habits of the Kobolds (Reward) Gather tools and items from Kobolds to complete this quest. Furganda: Delayed Supplies (Reward) Talk to Pnor to complete this quest. Furganda: Eliminate the Kobold Scouts (Reward) Eliminate 10 Kobold Scouts to complete this quest. Furganda: Lost Party Member (Reward) Go to the barrow and by one of the stone henge stones is a shield that you click on and you will complete this quest. Furganda: Bloody Rune (Reward) Talk to Katrina for her thoughts on Ryans death to complete this quest. Furganda: Weapon and Equipment Repair (Reward) Bring Damaged Weapons to Logar and ask the Cid to repair and strengthen them to complete this quest. Katrina: Kobold Mutation (Reward) Bring back some Kobold Blood to finish this quest. Katrina: The Magic of the Barrow (Reward) Investigate the barrow to complete this quest. Katrina: Sample of Mutated Blood (Reward) Go to barrow and find a sample of kobold blood and katrinas research report and return to Highly-skilled Doctor to complete this quest. Katrina: Blood Sacrifice (Reward) You must kill 10 wolves and collect their hearts and then go to the Barrow and summon the demon bear and kill it to complete this quest. Katrina: Obtaining Strange Minerals (Reward) Go to Barren Caves and take the portal instance… make sure you have about a party of 4 with at least a tank and a healer. Once you get to the end with the boss you don’t have to kill it! You can sneak along the left side of the wall to get to the ore and mine it for the strange powder and you are done. Katrina: Seal the Magic Circle (Reward) To complete this quest is simple… just go to the barrow and seal the stone in the middle for an easyk completion. Pnor: The Lost Supplies (Reward) Obtain 10 Full Grain bags on the north road to complete the quest. Vankelo: Lost Clues (Reward) Kill some Kobold Scouts to obtain the Clue Letter and return to Vankelo to complete this quest. Vankelo: Return of the Letter (Reward) Return the Clue Letter to George in Logar to complete this quest. Servaida Woods
Sharlin: Plant Mutations (Reward) Go to Dead Tree Cave in Servaida Woods and collect a plant sample to complete this quest. Sharlin: Sharlin’s Report (Reward) Go to the Highly-skilled Doctor and give him the report on the Dead Tree Cave to complete this quest. Sharlin: Preparation (Reward) Go to Daisy and talk to her about what is going on in the Dead Tree Cave. Sharlin: Dion and the Spear of Logar (Reward) GO talk to Dion in front of Dead Tree Cave and persuade him to give you the spear. Then go to the gathering point and insert the speard into it to complete this quest. Dion: Safe and Sound (Reward) Dion is located just outside of Dead tree Cave… return to George and tell him Dion is okay. Dion: Destruction of the Gathering Magic (Reward) Go into the Dead tree cave and insert the spear into the gathering point to finish this quest. Moongorge Justin: Newt’s Liquid (Reward) Go to Moongorge and collect Newt Fluid and Shadow Newt Fluid and return to Justin to complete this quest. Justin: Investigate the Moongorge (Reward) Investigate deep into Moongorge and examine a portal to complete this quest. Justin: The Moongorge Discovery (Reward) Go to Sevaida Woods and share with Sharlin about the discovery in Moongorge. Justin: Key Making (Reward) Go to Hidden Vally Mine and find 2 pieces of Abandened Ore then get a bottle of Special Oil from Mrs. Marian in Pioneers Village then get 12 pieces of Newt Salaiva from newts in Moongorge. Justin: Spring Water from Moongorge (Reward) Take the Spring Water you recieve to Narfas to finish this quest. Hidden Vally Mines Gyor: Gil’s New Miner (Reward) To complete this quest you need to catch a Red-pincer Cave Crab in the cave. Gyor: Thinning the Herd (Reward) Reduce the population of Goblin Patrolmen to complete this quest. Gyor: Lost Material (Reward) You need to enter the Hidden Vally Mines and obtain the supplies that were left there to complete this quest. Gyor: Goblin Warning (Reward) Go to Mrs. Helens farm and warn her about the goblins to complete this quest. Gyor: Warning (Reward) Go to Leighton and return the missing items to him to complete this quest. Barren Caves
