I.

Pros:
*Owns in PvP, Duals, Pk, etc.
*High DPS (Damage Per Second)
*High Dodge Rate
*Kills quickly
*Able to do annoying gathering quests (w/ hide)
*Only needs HP pots while PvE
*Energy / Concentration recovers quickly
*Easy to solo early game
*Good Attk dmg debuff (Poison + Wrist Attack)

Cons:
*Low HP
*Low Def
*Needs priest late game
*Needs first strike
*Hard to survive more than 1 mob
*Armor looks like crap compared to chain/plate
*Vanish has a high CD
*Daggers are weak compared to swords/axes

II. Gear

If your rich-
-Purchase a Yolta. Epic set, very costly but armor can last until lvl 30+
-Dual wield daggers! (not Dagger + Sword)
-Dex is the most important stat for R/S
-Use Greens/Blue daggers until you hit around lvl 30, the daggers you get from quest latter on will be just fine.

If your poor-
-Get your silver spring hope set asap
Quest Starts-
Chestpeice- The guard near the bridge in the south, complete the chain quest.
Gloves- Kill Yuri for his book and you open the quest and it gives u the gloves
Boots- Farm Plague quest I believe
Pants- The Stolen chicken quest start at the camp.
-Get your set to +1 or +2
-Wait until your level 20 then start hunting your spy investigation set
Quests Starts-
Chest- Bloody Gallery
Sholders- FA
Boots- Dreamland quest (tagena)
Pants- FA
-Enchant it to +1 or +2
-Use this set until you’re about level 27
-Dual Daggers

III. Leveling
-Quest until level 20ish
-Dailies + Quests from then on
-Useful Dailies
Silverfall-
-Dead Ant Branches
-Frog Legs
-Boar tusks ftw!!
-Bear Claws

Ystra-
-High Quality Deer Antlers
-The Delivery quest
-Cyclops Menace
-Berhu meat
-Ferrets (Fast, easy, high exp, what more do u want)

Dragonfang-
-Dragon Scales
-Bear Fur

Its a good idea to keep your scout as close to your rogues level as possible since vampire arrow is a powerful dot

IV. Skills

Max-
Villainy (Rogue)
Laceration (Rogue)
Dagger Mastery (Rogue)
Blind Spot (Rogue)
Vampire Arrows (Scout)
Wrist Attack (Scout)
Swiftness (Scout)
Shot is optional (Scout)

Get Ambidextrous, and Agile every 10 lvls EX: (2.0+ wait till u can get 3.0 not 2.5)

V: PvE

*keep poison on at all times*

Skill combo (first strike)

Start with premeditation > blind spot > villainy > vampire arrows > laceration > then repeat from villainy

Skill combo (w/o premed)

Begin with blind spot > villainy > laceration > joint blow > vampire arrow > shot > shadow step > repeat

VI: PvP

Pk Combo (First Strike)

Start with Premed > blind spot > villainy > (if spell caster use throat attack) > laceration > joint blow > vampire arrow > wrist attack > shadow step > blind spot > (make sure u have your dots on) > Continue with blindspot > villainy > vampire arrow > laceration combo

Getting PKed (if u stand a chance)

Start with > wrist attack > pot > shadow step > blind spot > laceration > vampire arrow > villainy > joint blow > run > vampire arrow > shot > Continue with blindspot > villainy > vampire arrow > laceration combo

Getting PKed (running)

Start with joint blow > blind stab > run > stealth/vanish > hearth

VIII.FAQ

Q. Why don’t you max cheap shot? It stuns and dazes
A. cheap shot requires you to be out of combat, where as blindspot deals more damage and it can be done in combat.

Q. Why level up agile, ambidextrous every 10 lvls?
A. If you have 2.3+ dodge or common attack speed, you wont feel a difference from 2.0

Q. Why villainy + laceration and not shadowface?
A. Villainy + laceration is a combo.

Q. How do I get Yolta Set?
A. Windmill, dungeon in logar.
