i met so many confused ppl ingame and on the forum that i decided to write this guide.
IMPORTANT: this guide is mostly for those who cannot afford to pay for this game. those who can pay will see what they can do in different way (using stuff from IM).

psy wizard? one of the hardest to build up from the start. you wont have enough int and the basic atk skills are based on int except for one skill. psy wizards are getting power on higher lvls after you can grab most of your wizard skills.

facts you should know about psy wizards:
-low normal attack damage
-low damage in PvP
-avarage damage in PvE under lvl 50 (can still outdamage most of the other classes)
-godly AOE capabilitys in PvE on higher lvls
-godly buffs/debuffs in PvP on higher lvls

stat build pre lvl 50:
you need int, doesnt matter what lvl you are, you need some decent int to power up your magic attack based skills. get 80 base int. so when you start the game with your mage, add 3 int and 1 vit each lvlup. you can play with the recommanded 50 base int, but it makes your game way harder from lvl 20 to 65. 70-80 int is all you need as a psy wizard and if you get it early on, you can "survive" the lower lvls easily.
(for those who can pay for the game, you should go with 3int/1vit then restat at lvl 58-70: 50-80 base int, rest is 3psy/1vit)

statbuild at lvl 15 (if you added 3 int/1vit each lvl):

add one point to int to reach 80 and put the rest on vit. from now on, get 3psy/1vit each lvlup till you reach lvl 50.

skill build pre lvl 50:
you MUST have a lot of skillpoints saved for the wizards skills so i recommend getting this skill build for lower lvls.

this can be accomplished at lvl 31. if you spend more skillpoints, you damage your skillbuild after 50 and you cannot correct it till lvl 65 (you get Erease Ability at lvl 65). IMPORTANT: DONT TRY TO UPGRADE ANY SKILL TO LVL 6.
(for those who can pay for the game this doesnt matter as you are able to full skillreset at any time, if you do it, i recommend doing it at lvl 58 to have all your psy nukes. Multi Magic Arrow isnt a good skill till high lvls so grab the AOEs and ignore MMA. you can also upgrade your skills to lvl 6 or higher coz the IM skill reset stone wont erease the skill enhencer.)

IMPORTANT TIPS:
-stay in the tutorial area till lvl 9-10
-complete ALL quests in the tutorial area
-get vit and int accessories
-MUST have int on the weapon
-good armor is important

stat build after lvl 50:

at lvl 51 you will notice a nice thing, you got 6 statpoints to distribute. you get 6 statpoints for each lvlup till lvl 70. if you concentrate on PvE, get 1 vit each lvlup (rest on psy), if you are planning to PvP a lot you need 2 vit (or even more, depends on your judgement). after lvl 70 you get 8 statpoints each lvl. you can finalise your VIT till lvl 80 or you can just go vith the basic build (1-2 vit each lvl). my personal experience is that the sooner you reach the desired vit, the better coz your damage is a no factor in PvP and its still one of the best the game can offer in PvE.

IMPORTANT: after lvl 58, switch to psy boosting accessories (but dont sacrifice your survivability so have some vit accs for hard situations too)

skill build after lvl 50:

if you saved the statpoints as i suggested, this is what you should see.
this is a basic PvE oriented wizard skillbuild. PvE because you must lvl so you MUST be able dish out the most possible damage you can do. IMPORTANT: DONT TRY TO UPGRADE ANY SKILL TO LVL 6. Killing Time and Group Mortal Immune are some of the best tactical skills this game can offer. GMI helps to defend yourself (and your party) from crit build players and will protect you from the many crits of mobs in PvE while KT will help you spam AOE dispell and GMI for PvP.
(for paying customers, upgrade Ring Burst, Psy Shield and Add Temper to lvl 6 as soon as possible, Ring Burst for the decreased cooldown, the rest for the added bonuses.)

recommanded skillbuild at lvl 65:

congratz. you reached a lvl where you can freely experiment with your skillbuild. with 1 point in Erease Ability youre able to reset the first skilltree, then add 1 point more to Erease ability (to make it lvl 2) and erease the second tree. IMPORTANT: DONT USE EREASE ABLITY IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST 1 SKILL AT LVL 6, IT WILL EREASE THE SKILL ENHENCER.

here is my opinion about the skillbuild after a skillreset at lvl 65:

yes, Erease Ability is lvl 0 because this skill build is good enough for the rest of your life (i mean the rest of your wizards life in Rohan ^^). with this skill build you got all the damage you need in PvE, and you have what you need for group PvP on mid lvls. you can now upgrade your skills to lvl 6. the most important skill to upgrade is Ring Burst coz lvl 6 is reducing the cooldown to 4 seconds.
(for those who can pay i suggest to upgrade Area Spell and Strike Bash for better PvP performance and Destroy for more damage and longer duration. consider upgrading Wide Pollution too.)

ideal base skill build at lvl 89:

why the 2 crit boosting buffs? shielding. that means when you get debuffed by others (or you dispell yourself by using AOE dispell and templars or warlocks can reflect the dispell back) you can shield the usefull buffs with them (you decrease the chance to lose Almighty or Psy shield, maybe GMI). Portal Warp lvl 3? matter of personal preference, but when youre able to port out your party (lvl 3 makes you able to port during fight) against a much higher lvl invading party, thats a good feeling (i did that 2 nights ago, no one died). Cold Wave? immobilising a hard hitter class (dex guard or a dhan, maybe an unlucky ranger) can be important. it also helps in 1v1. Taming Mind? it is good for 1v1 and it can be really useful to stop a ranger from fleeing in mass PvP.

ideal wizard skill build at lvl 89:

Eternal Darkness is a spectacular skill, will make you able to avoid an unvanted fight. Strike Bash will make your party or guildm8ts have some free hits on the enemy. Reraise is a really useful skill especially in PvP. EDIT: consider getting Magic Refletion on higher lvls. cannot be debuffed and will save you from magic attacks, especially vit dekans hard hitting FFS.

SUMMARY:
-you need 70-80 base int
-you need int equipment on lower lvls
-you must be able to stay alive while you are AOEing the mobs to oblivion (use vit accessorys, have a nice amount of vit)
-your weapon should boost your int till lvl 50+, then it should boost your psy
-armor comes first, always have a nice armor, its priority over the good weapon
-have a healer with you all the time (they got the necessary buffs to boost your damage)
-play in party as much as you can

Dekan Newbie Guide V 1.3

I see a lot of people asking for dekan build but too lazy to start their own guide with their findings and experience so I will try to do something like a small user guide for the new guys around. This is for you, the one who choose the dekan path.

First of all dekan is a popular race for the new guys due to evolve (dragon form) so is easy to understand why many people choose it as its first char in Rohan, however we need to see how this char grows during the game.

Getting started with your dekan:
You need to know what do you want to do with your dekan, this the first thing, dekan can play the damage dealer role or the tank role very well, it also can be a back up healer supporting the elf main healer with some life saver heals.
Once you have defined what you want to be here comes the development part, if you choose the damage dealer path you will have a fun job but you also need to be useful to your party, remember Rohan is mostly party based so everyone needs to participate.

Builds:
Dekan has 3 builds: STR, Full VIT and INT.

STR DEKAN: This is (in my personal opinion) the funniest dekan build, you are in the middle of the action having an active role in it. Dekan do a lot of damage but they can be squishy at the first levels. There is one important point to consider, the best DD str dekan Dragon fighter is separation, if you go this path and want to get evolve later you may want to have a reset handy.
Let’s go to the build:

Stats: easy to figure as dragon fighter 3 str 1 vit, but you need to add dex, my recommendation is get dex to base 50 when you reach lv 50, then is up to you if you want to add more dex.

Skills: this is for a full sepa Dragon Fighter which is the faster way to lv up to 50:

-Darkness 5 (dekan can use elemental attack with no problem and it adds a lot of good damage in PVE and slows enemy attack in PVP) or Frozen 5 (slows your target movement speed) **important just get 1 of them**

-Taunt 1 (requirement/ party skill to save your healer ass)
-Dragon’s power 5 (boosts your melee attack, recommendation is get it to lvl 7 if you can afford skill stones)

-Separation 1 (sepa)
-Sepa slash 5 (sepa main melee damage)
-Nail zhen 5 (sepa aoe to get good damage and take the agro on you when necessary)
-Health Funnel 5 (must have it or die , recommendation is get it to lvl 7 if you can afford skill stones)

-Health to mana 1 (lv 2 optional, it makes your mana infinite, u will ove it)
-Dragon skin 3 (it works good in PVP and helps in PVE for some stunning mobs like in R1)
**optional**
-Mana to health 5 (only if you feel that you need some extra hp heals)
-Breath 1 (only to pull monsters)

This is the non sepa alternative, but your attack will be really slow and your Damage per second will be far less than the sepan build:

-Darkness 5 (dekan can use elemental attack with no problem and it adds a lot of good damage in PVE and slows enemy attack in PVP) or Frozen 5 (slows your target movement speed) **important just get 1 of them**

-Taunt 1 (requirement/ party skill to save your healer ass)
-Dragon’s Power 1 (to save skill points, is up to you if you want to get it to lvl 5, it works good too)
-ForeFoot Swing 1 (requirement)
-Dragon’s trail 5 (melee base attack)
-Zhen counter 5 (AOE)
-Health Funnel 5 (same as before )
-Health to mana 1 (lv 2 optional, it makes your mana infinite, u will ove it)
-Dragon skin 3 (this is great skill for PVP, max it if you feel comfortable with it)
**optional**
-Breath 1 (only to pull monsters)

Gear:

Weapon: In low levels weapons are not that good but you can have good advantage from the optional when refining (don’t ask how to refine, this is about dekan not forging ).
For your weapon the best a STR dekan can get is melee attack %, but at low level your melee attack is low and the weapon bonuses are crap, so get STR bonuses weapons to deal more damage and get more defense and HP from STR, the higher the better, other option can be VIT but your damage will not be as high as it should be.
My weapon optional recommendations are:
-health and mana drain: leeching is the best way to survive at low levels and the damage you deal at this lvl is good enough, Nail Zhen will fill your HP with this optional.
-damage drop: if you get a good % of damage drop this will help you with your “squishiness”, this will reduce the damage you take from mobs and players.
-attack speed: great option for separation and you can combine it with the HP drain and u will get a great result.

Armor:
Armor is important, high physical and magic defense are obviously the goal. Try to get your enchanted Froianne as soon as you can and with the best stats you can get.
Optional items for armor refine:
-Minimum Damage Drop: self explanatory, you will receive less damage from mobs when they hit minimum.
-Damage reflection: at low levels mobs have los HP so damage reflect is a good option to get rid of them fast, if you use this try to get a weapon forged with damage drop
-HP bonus: this will give you a good amount of HP to ensure you survive.

Accessories: mainly STR, but STR/VIT works good, Ruined Khan’s (mini boss at ahkma cave) accessories are great for start, later try to get Mollek’s (boss at ahkma cave) ring of prodigious power, VIT accessories are good too and also dex, this will depend on your game play.

VIT DEKAN: This is a “sand bag/tank build”, you are there to take all the damage, you need to be skillful to keep the agro on you all the time, is not just standing there, you need to keep the mobs hiting you, use your taunt like crazy to be a great tank and every party will love you, if you do it wrong you are screwed .

Stats: Not hard to find out, all VIT, you need no more than VIT, this will give you HP, defense and damage. One skill killer and a huge meatball. This build is effective as Dragon Knight as much as Dragon Sage, but normally the VIT build head towards to Sage because of the defense buffs it gets. No reset is needed here, but your full be full party dependant to lvl up fast. Notice this build has no dex so you will miss a lot with your melee skills, for this reason I leave them open for you to choose if you want to max them or not.

Skills: With this build you will save a lot of skill points for your next skill tree, this is for a full VIT non sepa Dragon Fighter:

-Darkness 1 (dekan can use elemental attack with no problem and it adds a lot of good damage in PVE and slows enemy attack in PVP) or Frozen 1 (slows your target movement speed) **important just get 1 of them**

-Taunt 1 (requirement/ party skill to save your healer ass)
-Dragon’s Power 1 (to save skill points, is up to you if you want to get it to lvl 5, it works good too)
-ForeFoot Swing 5 (this is your main attack, recommendation is get it to lvl 7 if you can afford skill stones)

-Dragon’s trail 1 (to save skill points, is up to you if you want to get it to lvl 5, it works good too)
-Zhen counter 1 (to save skill points, is up to you if you want to get it to lvl 5, it works good too)
-Health Funnel 5 (same as before )
-Health to mana 1 (lv 2 optional, it makes your mana infinite, u will ove it)

Optional items for armor refine:
-Minimum Damage Drop: self explanatory, you will receive less damage from mobs when they hit minimum.
-Damage reflection: at low levels mobs have los HP so damage reflect is a good option to get rid of them fast, if you use this try to get a weapon forged with damage drop
-HP bonus: this will give you a good amount of HP to ensure you survive and give you more damage with FFS.

Accessories: mainly VIT, but STR/VIT works good, VIT accessories are the main goal, later on you can get wings of death (15 str/15dex/15 vit) to have a more balanced char or get more VIT, I recommend you stick to VIT, the more the better!.

INT DEKAN: Currently bugged, I don’t recommend to use it yet so I won’t include details about it in this guide.

I’m lvl 50, now what?
This is the big question, now what? What will you do little dragon, you have 2 choices here: Dragon Knight or Dragon Sage?

Dragon Knight: Melee based skills, if you chose to be STR dekan this is like the expected path to take, if you followed the sepa you have another choice to make, should I keep my sepa or do I want Evolve?
Evolve is the point here, it gives you big boost in melee and HP, and the more important of all, makes you look cool! .But there is something all dekans must know before making the decision, EVOLVE CAN BE DISPELLED (I warned u), and it has a 10 minutes cool down and it does not reset when you die, this means if you cast your evolve and you die you need to wait the whole CD time to use it again and this also applies if you get dispelled (Evolve STR dekan worst enemy). SEPA SKILLS DO NOT WORK IN EVOLVE MODE.

Ok, having the evolve thingy clear, I will post here some options for the full sepa dekan, this is the dekan without evolve:

Full sepa dekan:
Stats: lvl 51-70: 5 STR 1VIT , lvl 71-99 7 STR 1VIT. Don’t forget to add some dex according to your own experience.
Skills:
-Zhen Mastery 5 (boosts your zhen damage, max it if you can afford lvl 7 stones)
-Critical immunity 1(max it for late game but not until you get all your attack skills)
-Extricate 2 (max it, u will need it)
-Mist 1 (max it only if you like to go hidden around pretending to be a dhan, it is usefull but is up to you to max it)

-Forced lock 5 (boost your critical damage)
-Fast Shadow 5 (lvl 7 if you can afford it, max attack speed)
-Soul Divider 5 (sepa stun max it if you can afford lvl 7 stones)
-Toxic Potion 5 (great for PVP)
-Dark Spell 5 (great for PVP)
**optional**
-blue defense 5 (reduces a fixed amount of damage, some say it is crap some say it works good, I leave this up to you)
-Karma 5 (resurrection skill)

Evolve Dekan: This is why you created a dekan right? Become a big hungry dragon!, here you need to reset your skills and go the non sepa Dragon Fighter way.

Here we go for the Dragon Knight skills:

-Zhen Mastery 5 (boosts your zhen damage, max it if you can afford lvl 7 stones)
-Critical immunity 1(max it for late game but not until you get all your attack skills)
-Extricate 2 (max it, u will need it)
-Evolve 5 (lvl 7 if you can)
-Suction 3 (drain HP/MP, helps you to stay alive, max it if you feel your self too squishy)
**Sudden Death 5 (boost melee damage, toggle lvl 7 if you can)
**Blood Effect 5 (boosts your critical rate, toggle, lvl 7 if you can) (**important** choose only one o f them)
-Lunacy 5 (boosts attack speed, lvl 7 if you can)
-Dragon’s nail 1 ( % stun with regular attack, max it if you want, this skill is not that helpful, but if you like it max it)
-Mist 1 (requirement, max it only if you like to go hidden around pretending to be a dhan, it is usefull but is up to you to max it)

-Forced lock 5 (boost your critical damage)
-Fast Shadow 5 (lvl 7 if you can afford it, max attack speed)
-Penetrate 5 (lvl 7 if u can, stun)
-Toxic Potion 5 (great for PVP)
-Dark Spell 5 (great for PVP)
**optional**
-blue defense 5 (reduces a fixed amount of damage, some say it is crap some say it works good, I leave this up to you)
-Karma 5 (resurrection skill)

VIT Dragon Knight: tank but aggressive.

Stats: All VIT.

Skills:

-Zhen Mastery 1 (boosts your zhen damage, max it if you want and can afford lvl 7 stones)
-Critical immunity 5 (max it)
-blue defense 5 (reduces a fixed amount of damage, some say it is crap some say it works good, I leave this up to you)

-Extricate 2 (max it, u will need it)
-Evolve 5 (lvl 7 if you can)
-Penetrate 5 (lvl 7 if u can, stun)
-Dragon’s nail 1 ( % stun with regular attack, max it if you want, this skill is not that helpful, but if you like it max it)
-Mist 1 (requirement, max it only if you like to go hidden around pretending to be a dhan, it is usefull but is up to you to max it)
-Forced lock 1 (**5 optional**) (boost your critical damage)
-Toxic Potion 5 (great for PVP)
-Dark Spell 5 (great for PVP)
**optional**
You can take all the skills I listed before for STR DK if you want, your main skill still will be FFS
-Karma 5 (resurrection skill)
***I have noticed that if you have dragon nail and fast shadow max you can have your target stuned really often however your melee damage is not good, you can take this skills combination if you want but it will only work for stunning your opponent 1 second, sometimes you get a nice stun rush on it sometimes not, try your luck***

Weapon: HP % is the best for this build to max FFS damage too.
My weapon optional recommendations are:
-damage drop: if you get a good % of damage drop this will help you, this will reduce the damage you take from mobs and players.

Armor:
Armor is important, high physical and magic defense are obviously the goal. Try to get your enchanted armor as soon as you can and with the best stats you can get.
Optional items for armor refine:
-Minimum Damage Drop: self explanatory, you will receive less damage from mobs when they hit minimum.
-HP bonus: this will give you a good amount of HP to ensure you survive

Accessories: mainly VIT, but STR/VIT works good, VIT accessories are the main goal, later on you can get wings of death (15 str/15dex/15 vit) to have a more balanced char or get more VIT. My avise, go for full vit.

Dragon Sage: Intended to be the INT oriented option for dekan, this build got screwed due to bug of the skill Breath.

This is powerful as melee but is highly preferred for full VIT due to Impenetrable that gives you a great boost in defense.
As a note Dragon Sage best performance is in Evolve mode.

Str Sage: this is the fastest way to lvl up, perfect for solo and great in party.

Skills:

-Zhen Mastery 5 (boosts your zhen damage, max it if you can afford lvl 7 stones)
-Critical immunity 1(max it for late game but not until you get all your attack skills)
-Extricate 2 (max it, u will need it)
-Evolve 5 (lvl 7 if you can)
-Suction 2 (drain HP, helps you to stay alive, max it if you feel your self too squishy)
-Mantle 1 (requirement)
-Splitter 5 (% to make your regular attack slpit AOE damage)
-Impenetrable 5 (increase defense)
-Fast Shadow 5 (lvl 7 if you can afford it, max attack speed)
-Forced lock 1 (requirement)
-Flow 5 (lvl 7 if u can, stun)
-Full blast Assault 5
-Dragon Wing 5 (increased movement speed)

Weapon: Melee attack % weapon for sure, the highest you can make and afford.
My weapon optional recommendations are:
-health and mana drain: leeching is the best way to survive
-damage drop: if you get a good % of damage drop this will help you, this will reduce the damage you take from mobs and players.

-blue defense 5 (reduces a fixed amount of damage, some say it is crap some say it works good, I leave this up to you)

-Extricate 2 (max it, u will need it)
-Evolve 5 (lvl 7 if you can)
-Penetrate 5 (lvl 7 if u can, stun)
- Suction 1 (drain HP/MP, helps you to stay alive, max it if you feel your self too squishy)
-Mantle 1 (requirement)
-Splitter 1 (% to make your regular attack slpit AOE damage)
-Impenetrable 5 (max defense bonus)
-Dragon Wing 5 (increased movement speed)

Excaliber’s Warlock Guide

Hello I’m here to tell you my personal guide for my warlock I figure it will give you people something new to be nutsy about.

So lets get started. The First skills you need are as follows, please note this guide will be a pvp guide because warlock is a pvp class however if you should choose to do a pve warlock, dont get the skills with the * next to them. It indicates that those skills are pvp.
oh btw your stat build from lvl 1-50 should be 3 int 1 vit

1. lvl 5 dark message first and best skill you need.
2. lvl 3 cold wave is useful, you can max it if you want but you wont need more than lvl 3 later because later you’ll use before you cast ability drain because drain has a 4 second cast time.
3. dark eyes is a skill you have to get in the skill tree but its still useful keep it on at all times.
4. lvl 5 health coil very good for pve and still does decent dmg in pvp
5. lvl 3 or 4 mana coil lvl 4 is not required but its still nice to have because it increases mana coil’s dmg which is good for pvp.
6. lvl 5 int beam it will be your BEST single target dmg skill and is very important
7. lvl 5 wide encourage your first aoe its what mages are made for!
8. lvl 1 strong mind increases crit dmg and gives you access to frozen ice
*9. lvl 1-5 frozen ice only lvl 1 is really required but its a useful skill so you may want to 5 it but considering you’ll be working on your skill build till 8xish it may not be what you want to spend you skill points on at low lvls.
*10. your next needed skill in the first set, lvl 5 dispel magic. Your debuff and one of your most important skills great for pissing off dekans and making your enemy far weaker.
11. Portal warp is good for if you plan to be doing alot of rahkon 2 or 3 parties. you will need it only lvl 2 because you can use fake death to get the argo off you and then cast it. I personally didnt get this till I reset at 65. NOTE: it has come to my attention that lvl 4 portal warp is useful if your party gets attacked by a venge party so I’d advise lvl 4ing it if you do ANY pvp whatsoever.
*12. lvl 1 broken barrier great for pvp it will take a healers protection off the guy you’re trying to kill (because healers have a shitton of psy at high lvls it can be VERY difficult to break and its good to be spending the time actually killing the healer and not the shield) can also be used against magic mirror, and dragon sage "guard" which is like an int shield
*13. cure silence. If you dont have this some dhan is gonna put you outa business VERY quickly. Lvl 7 silence is a pain in the ass and you MUST get it off you because we are nothing without our skills.
and this concludes your first set of skills congrats. Please note you want to get your skill build done by 3x lvl 35ish is best to have it done by a bit of leeway one way or the other is fine.

lvl 50 CONGRATS you’re a warlock! please see my pg 4 post for the link to a page helpful about the quests. Anyway you’re going to be less of a glass cannon from now on so lets get started.
stat build 5 int 1 vit OR 4 vit 2 int I personally went for 4 vit 2 int but its entirely up to your personal preference. I would advise even if you want to go 5 int 1vit to go 4 int 2 vit till 60 so u can tank a bit more of dmg incase the healer is taking a dump or something. "why 60?" you might as me, because at lvl 60 you get a skill that resets the agro and makes u invincible for 5 secs which means you can cast your aoes and then use it (its called fake death BTW) and watch the tanks actually do their job and tank.

okay skill build.

1. lvl 5 int shield this makes u less of a total glass cannon.
2. *EDIT* lvl 0 staff mastery, you will hardly have enough skill points at 99 anyway so you cant be wasting your points on things you dont need.
3. lvl 1 impenetrable shield another one of those skills you have to get anyway, but its still good. Chain it with break ability to be impossible to stun .
4. lvl 1 push, lvl 1 to lvl 5 doesnt have that much a difference in dmg and you have other skills that need the sp. however you may want to max it after you’ve maxed the other skills I will advise you to get.
5. lvl 5 pollution mind. Great aoe dmg over time (DOT) also good for pvp. a good skill to chain with fake death later.
6. lvl 1 root you may want to lvl 5 it later because its your only actual stun. even if its only 6 seconds its still your only stun…….. and its an AOE so thats also cool plus its cooldown is far less than any other stun, only 25 seconds
7. lvl 1 fake death theres no difference besides the cooldown on lvl 1 vs lvl 5

Well starting 6x you’ll be doing some more pvp so these are now the mainly pvp skills…..oh right the actual skill; okay since you may have a few sp left over if you chose to follow this guide to the letter there are a few skills you need to work on while still having 5 sp by lvl 62 to max broken treasure. MAKE SURE IF YOU’RE GOING TO PVP THAT YOU SAVE 5 POINTS FOR BROKEN TREASURE!!!

*9. lvl 1 ability drain (assuming you have a free sp) okay this is good to lvl 5 and use after you cold wave the target. it is like doing 800 dmg to your enemy and making him about 10% less effective for some time. lvl 1 it now if u have the free sp and make sure you lvl 5 it later!
*10. lvl 1 magic mirror another skill you need to max when u get the sp. Please note!!!!! it does not work as described! all it does is reflect 2 attacks at lvl 5 BUT if you use it correctly you can reflect their stuns and sway the battle further in your favor.
*11. lvl 1 and then 5 break ability this skill disables your enemy’s paralyzes ie dhan skil death call, knight skill rush…etc. lvl 1 it first and then lvl 5 it as you get the spare sp
*12. lvl 1 area toxic potion. Great to chain with broken treasure because toxic potion is undetoxable and broken treasure is detoxable. Broken treasure is your best skill and it sucks if it gets detoxed. Anyway…. get area toxic to lvl 5 as soon as you have the sp because it also takes away one of their hp pots which can give u the extra seconds you may need to kill.

other skills optional skills are…..
1. Skill erase at lvl 65. Please note if ANY of your skills are lvl 6 do not use this. IT can however be useful if you got a skill or two to a lvl you didnt want them or if you want a skill you want but have the skill points in a skill you like less you can use this to reset it. INSTRUCTIONS: put 1 point into it reset first set of skills. Then put another point into it (making it lvl 2) and reset second tier (it also resets the erase skill so you get your sp back . *2. disable pet (it can be helpful when dealing with lvl 3 pets)
*3. snatch which is nice just for fun basically but can also be used to piss off someone who wont give you buffs =).

Finally "best skills to lvl 6 or more"
1. INT shield is VERY good to lvl 6
2. Broken treasure, increases effect time by 4 seconds and decreases it’s cooldown time to 2 mins
3. lvl drop (when it gets fixed it will make us much better in pvp)
4. Dark message, more mp and hp are always useful
5. Break ability
6. Magic mirror
7. Area toxic potion
8. Ability drain
9. Attack skills, Pollution mind and int beams are good ones to start out with.

There you go, if you do use your skillstones from your skillstone quests (1 lvl 40 solo and lvl 50 from outside of carolinas tomb) make sure you try them WITH the GUILD BUFF because they are not 100%

You may want to spend this whole lvl doing specter money quests which can be found at the orc fortress (go to gathering hall and get an orc fortress portal stone from the sundries merchant) the quests are called "blood red key" and "incurable curse" and give 20k each P.S. a bunny is great for this quest.

46-50 rahkon 1 sofa room the green colored spot.
50-60 alter of roha you can get there using a portal stone from the gathering hall called "pine plateau"

8x uhhh something just kinda depends on where the scrolls are fire temple would be a good spot tho.

Armors/weps. Okay being a glass cannon and all we need good armors but if this is your first char or you’re not cash shop whored (spending real money to get stuff from cash shop) its going to be difficult so just try and get the armors as near as you can to the lvls I state. Keep in mind that I had previous characters so I had a pool of cash to draw from making me have armor and weapons before most others.
Armors
3-17 benezar and great for these lvls seeing as its a armor with a 100% forge success rate and does decently in these lvls because they will be flying by so fast it will be pointless to spend too much money on amazing weps and armor at this lvl.
18-20 elven or elemental
20-35 graham yes you read that correctly, I got graham at lvl 20. Now USE forging and refining so you can get graham down low as well. You dont NEED it by lvl 20 but it would be useful to start lvling up faster. If this is your first character shoot for 25 and dont settle for anything less than 32. Also pdef perfered is +15 or so pdef +20 or 30 is cool if you can get it.
35-45 natu if you can get it. Chances are if this is your first char you wont be able to, but if it is aim for 40 and dont settle for anything less than 43. +25 pdef perfered if not +30 or 35
45-58 pluion if you can get it you can probly get it by lvl 50 even if this is your first char. +40ish pdef is nice but +50 pdef is perfered
58-68 enchanted pluion try to get 1or2 mp enchants and the rest hp if you can. +50 pdef or +60
68-78 edwin if you can get it +50 pdef ka’el is also useful. +80 pdef on the edwin atleast! +90 or +100 is perfered
78-8x enchanted edwin +90 or 100 pdef
8x-9x bedron. +100 or more pdef

Weapons
1-10 lvl 1x staff the rare one (green background). stats not necessary
10-20 lvl 2x staff, the rare one stats not necessary
lvl 20-30 lvl 3x staff the rare one OR lvl 2x unique staff (yellow background) +whatever int you can get
lvl 30-35 lvl 3x staff, the rare one +whatever int you can get
lvl 36-50 lvl 41 unique staff, you can ancient (blue background) it if you want but its not reccomended because they have VERY high fail rates. +30 int +10 vit perfered
lvl 50-60 lvl 61 unique staff around now you need to start using incense burners of marea for the dmg drop % sooner if you can afford it. +50 or more int perfered
61-70 you can either keep the 61 uniq or make it anchient either one will do. I personally kept my unique and chose to make and dlvl my lvl 81 staff sooner.
70-75 lvl 81 unique +75ish int +15 or so vit
75ish-late 8x try to make a +100 int +20 or so vit staff. lvl 82 ancient. Try to get it as godly as possible.
90-99 lvl 101 uniq and lvl 102 ancient. Try to get as much int as you can possibly cram into it, I havent made one but I’m assuming its about 150 max
try to get as much vit on it as you can as well, but dont sac int for vit

Best warlock pet is Molly, 2nd is dragon for pvp and bear for pve

STR Dhan Guide

Hello folks.
I have seen so many people asking for a pve build for dhans mostly, so i wanted to share my experiences as a Dhan player.

Well first of all, i tried both builds (agi and str).
I have to say that str dhans are a way better for pve, plus they are good in pvp (not soo good as an agi one, but still decent), dunno why people keeps arguing that they suck.
I seen str dhans full buffed by others that can 3hit Priest, Templar, Ranger, Agi Dhans, Dex guards, even some Warlocks, etc.
The only bad thing about str dhans is that you become dependent of everyone’s else buffs such as: Crazy Strenght, Rising might, Almighty, Mental Barrier, Alacrity blow, Nimble, protection, etc.

Its a really huge difference when you are full buffed and you go pvp/pve.

Stats

Mostly you have to go for 4/0 str/vit build. Also as flare said, dont get more than 50 Vit base and 40 Dex Base. You can have at lvl 60 the Wings of Solemnity Accesories wich gives you 15/15/15. Str/vit/Dex.

So fully buffed you can have like 180~200dex base and about 120~150 vit base. Depends on the lvl of buffs + your accesories. Its better if you have a str goggle/earrring and a vit one for a bit higher hp.

Not mentioning if you get all the lvl 7 str buffs… you can have more than 901~1130 Str at lvl 80.
(The currently Str that i have), Can reach over 6k Melee attack not incluiding empower or ad temper. (just lvl 7 buffs)

Skills

Yeah, there are so many skills wich makes confusing to everyone in which skill to spend points.

At lvl 50 you must have these skills:

-lvl 5 invenom (the dmg is about 40~50% of your main dmg added, so yeah, get it)
-lvl 5 hide (for afking in parties xD)
-lvl 1 Sprint
-lvl 5 Mortal Rising
-lvl 5 Physic phantom (max it to lvl 7 if you can because its you main dmg dealer)
-lvl 5 Quickness (up to you)
-lvl 5 Phantom Crow (YOU MUST MAX this skill to lvl 7, it gives you 65% crit dmg added to your PP and DPP)
-lvl 5 mana burn (the best dhan stun skill, get it lvl 6 if you are able to)
-lvl 5 Silence (max it to lvl 7 for a short cooldown time, pretty annoying for Rangers)
-lvl 1 Confusion (optional for pvp)
-lvl 1 Deadly blow (this is an all or nothing skill, if you want to max it, you must spend for lvl 7 skill stones for having a 20% extra str bonus, at lvl 1~6 it only gives you 10% str bonus, personally im not rich enough to afford much stones for only a 10% str bonus)

Lets Say now you are lvl 80 and you wanna know how to stat an str avenger.

Changes on the Dhan Assasin skill tree:

– lvl 5 Sprint (usefull for pvp)

Avenger Skill Tree:

– lvl 1 Free up
. lvl 5 Katar Mastery
– lvl 1 Rowel Spur
– lvl 2 Sealing Square (you dont need it more than lvl 2)
– lvl 5 hp burn (kinda sucky stun skill, it has only 3m range to cast it, so its hard to stun anyone due of the "You cannot attack this time bug)
– lvl 5 Strenght Trap (good trap for pve)
– lvl 5 Death Call (f*** yeah i love this skill, very usefull for pvp/pve)
– lvl 5 Polluting blood: OPTIONAL (usefull in pvp against Vit classes)
– lvl 5 Mind exchange ( get it lvl 6 only) Who doesn’t love this skill?
– lvl 5 Double Physic Phantom (get it lvl 6 or 7)

Skill Stone Order:

If you want to spend some skill stones, get these skills on the following order.
If you can afford for some lvl 7 its better, lets say you can only afford 4 lvl 7 skill stone per month.

You must get:

lvl 7 Phantom Crow
lvl 7 Silence
lvl 7 Mortal Rising
lvl 7 Physic phantom (coz its ur main dmg dealer)

lvl 6 skills: Lets say you got 10 lvl 6 skills, (incluiding those ones above)

You must get: Same relevant order.

lvl 6 Phantom Crow
lvl 6 Silence
lvl 6 Mortal Rising
lvl 6 Strenght Trap
lvl 6 Physic phantom
lvl 6 Death Call
lvl 6 Mana burn
lvl 6 Double Physic Phantom
lvl 6 Mind exchange
lvl 6 Katar Mastery
lvl 6 Sprint or Quickness (up to you, i’d rather having quickness)

Explanation of this build:

ITs really good for pvp/pve, you have a lot of things, high dmg dealing, etc.
The only problem of this build its the pvp against vit or high pdef classes, the dmg of ur PP gets nerfed a lot if you fight vs a vit Dragon Sage or a vit Defender. Oh well you have Mana burn + Mind exchange to low their hp enough if you Succeed (50% chance at lvl 6)

Its really funny, can kill Mobs 8lvls higher than me, by just using a double physic phantom. With a physic phantom it does like 70% dmg of mob’s hp. Really good when u turn on the str trap

Equip:

Yeah, since you must focus on what do you want to be, (i go mostly on pvp things) You must go for a Damage Drop option items and some hp/mp abs to regen a bit in pve.

Weapon:

Use a damn katar. at lvl 80 you must have a katar like this for pvp:

Walker Shadow Bane / Agony of Tei katar (for pvp)

40%+ Melee attack
35%+ Damage Drop

Its a really nice katar, if you can max it, would be even better.

Walker Shadow Bane / Agony of Tei katar (for pve)

40%+ Melee Attack
10% hp/hp leech

If you are lucky, you will get 10% abs, really usefull for pve. Double PP do Over 20k Crits at lvl 7x, so you will recover 2k hp/mp for each DPP.

For example this:

Killing R3 Orc mobs at lvl 7x

Pet:

Brave Dragon. Really usefull vs high pdef classes, the dmg dealt ignores defence, same as polluting blood. Good combo if you stack them both for pvp. Have to mention that katar are fast enough to use this pet.
The other pet i recomend you is the Honey Bear for pve mostly.

Pvp:

Str Avengers are Really good against low pdef classes such as:

– Scouts
– Rangers
– Priests
– Templars
– Agi Dhans

You can 1shot most of them, specially Dex Scouts xD

Weak against:

– Vit Dragon Sages
– Vit Defenders
– Wizards (due of the Crit inmunity skill)

Average Vs:

– Str/Dex guardians
– Str Defenders
– Str Dragon Knights
– Str Scouts.
– Warlocks

The Pvp combo skill order depends of you gamestyle.
You will notice the dmg of the brave dragon pet per each normal hit. There is a chance to do that dmg, i tested it and its like 10~15% chance ( my Opinion).

Agi Dhan Guide

Agility Dhan I think are the best all round classes in the game for PVE and PVP. The classes you will have trouble with are Templar and Mages.

Let’s start off with your build. I think 4 agi 4 agi 4 agi 3 agi / 1 vit is the best build till level 50. Then from there on out full agi till level 70. Then from 70-80 7 agi / 1 vit. To really be successful with this character you might have to spend some $ I’ll explain why later, now that we have a build down, let’s talk about skills.

The skill that you indefinitely need to max first are the following

Avoid 6/7 (This skill boost your agility at level 7 it’s 21%. The more agi…the higher crit you do.)
Boost 6/7 (This skill boosts your critical percentage at level 7 it’s 10%.
Deadly Blow 6/7 (This skill takes your total amount of agility and applies it at a certain percentage to your critical damage. At level 7 it’s 530%.
Invenom 5 (This skill basically adds elemental damage to your crit usually equaling to half your crit. For example if you crit 6000 Invenom will add a additional 3000 making you total crit 9000. Nut’s right?
Mortal Rising 6/7 (Not only does this skill allow you to have 100% crit when coming out of vanish, but at 6 and 7 it add’s an additional 10 then 20% to your critical damage. Very nice skill.
Vanish level 5/6 (This skill allows you to disappear from enemies 5-7 levels higher than you, and at level 6 actually gives you a 20% boost to speed.)
Mana Burn 6 (This skill takes the user or monsters level and adds 600% of that heal your mana, on top of that stuns the target for 5 or more seconds. Very nice PVP skill, and easy way to never use MP pots when leveling.)
Silence level 6/7 (This skill disables a users skills, level 7 is 45 SECONDS!! Think how unfair it will be sneaking up on a person and instantly disabling their skills for 45 seconds while you beat on them.)
Quickness 3 (This boosts your dexterity which allows you hit a little more. Get this to level 5/6 later.)
Parry 3 (This allows you to block physical attacks using your weapon. Get this to level 5/6 later.)
You’ll need Dash level 1 as filler and Mirror Shield level 1 also.

Now when you’re going Avenger your skills should look like this.

Free up 1 (When those annoying archers root you use this to remove yourself from root.)
Rowel Spur 1 (Just a filler to get to your next skills, if you have a mount its 20% boost to it’s speed.
Sealing Square 2 (After you stun a archer or a class that likes to run alot, use sealing square so they cannot run off. It seals them in.)
Health Burn 5/6 (This is just the same as Mana Burn but takes the targets Health instead.
Death Call 4 (This skill at level 4 will bring any character that is running away from you to your feet and paralyze them. How nice is that? Anyone thinking GET OVER HERE!!)
Mind Exchange 6 (This skill in a nutshell turns your targets HP into 200% of their mana. This is one of the best skill you have because it allows you to defeat full VIT characters easily.)

UPDATE : make Secret Hide level 6, it’s a valid argument that it can be useful. After these skills are done you can work on maxing out confusion, dash, agi trap, and duplication. I for one think these skills are a waste of time, but they’re available options according to how you play. Dash and Confusion I think are for wussy dhans who like to run, just my opinion.

After you’re done with these main skills you can max Parry and Quickness. I do not suggest Agility Trap because you’re whole build relies on sneaking up on someone, or death calling them and stunning them till they’re dead. Who has time to set up a little trap that doesn’t even work for monsters? Not me.

Duplication I also did not waste any skill points in because…..it’s useless you have mortal rising which is 100% chance of crit and adds Invenom. Duplication does dual crit’s but does not add Invenom.

As far as accessories….

+20-35 earrings.
+20-35 glasses or eye patch
possibly +20 or higher dex ring (just 1)
rest a mixture of vit / agi +20 or higher.

It really depends on what you’re lacking in as you grow higher in level. If you feel you crit hard enough but lack some hp, get some VIT accessories.

As for armors….

You need enchanted armors with +hp only! You need this because as a mostly Agi build, you will lack in Vitality. A full hp set can add over 1600 HP! If you’re only PVE get damage drop on your armors. If you’re rich get damage drop set for PVE, HP set for PVP.

As for weapons….

You definitely need crit rate 7% or higher, and agility. Vitality and Dexterity is ALWAYS a plus. But critical rate and agility FIRST!

My idea for the perfect weapon is 9% crit or higher at least 90 agi or higher 30/40 vit 10-20 dex. The weapon I use is 90 Agi 40 vit 20 dex 9% crit. I also have a 10% crit 130 agi dagger for straight PVP.

Strength Assassin-Predator Guide

First I’ll start with the stat builds:

Levels 1-51: 3:1 Str:Vit

Levels 51-71 :4:2 Str:Vit

Levels 71-99 6:2 Str:Vit
*Atm I have 2XX vit with General Talisman+Blazing Temple Talisman no almighty.3XX vit with almighty*. I would suggest pumpin Str each level once you are satisfied with your hp.

*Note* Theres not really too many viable variations of the Str Build simply because unlike the Agi build you can’t get away with low hp because you won’t evade anything except a closed door.

Weapons:
Some Str Dhans suggest going for a weapon with high HP leech. Personally I prefer a weapon with high Melee atk/Dmg Drop. Dmg Drop helps alot more in PvP then HP leech does and also helps in PvE. People aren’t going to miss you alot so the less damage you take from them the better off you are.

Swords vs Katars: Swords have better base damage then Katars but high melee attack swords are in high demand since Guardians use them as well. Melee attack katars however are cheaper to find since theres not ton of Str Dhans. This decision is pure preference. Personally I went with Katars from 1-9X and plan on sticking with katars. Katar Mastery makes up imo for the damage Katar Str Dhans lose to Sword Str Dhans.

PvP Tips.
Melee classes:
Silence+Transform+Ruin+Sealing Square This combo stops anything they can do to you either they will run*which Sealing Square will stop them from doing* or they will stay fight and usually die. Transformation ends the danger of them actually dealing damage to you from reg hits. Silence kills thier ability to use skills. Works hand in hand with silence. Ruin Trap lowers Defense to a manageable level for your Psychic Phantom to start really…really hurting them. This works for other Str Dhans…Str Guardians…Str Defenders..Str Scouts and Str Dekans.

Ranged Classes:
Same Combo works with ranged classes other thing I would do different is start with Sprint*if they are a ranger* then Mana Burn* 12 m*. Then start combo in reverse.

Magic Class:
VS Templars.Key:ALWAYS WATCH FOR REFLECT.Atk as soon as you see it drop after they chrono it*10 second or so window I think* Transform them xD and their overpowered Melee becomes useless. If you can catch them unaware with silence and a stun *they will cure silence usually but theres always one dumbass who will forget and try running* Sealing Square+Transform+Ruin Trap*Silence is maybe if they dont cure it*.

Assassin Skills*All skills that say 7 are skills that IF you have the ABILITY to get the lvl 7 YOU SHOULD.
1 – Hide
5 – Invenom *though it doesnt help with PP or Demolition dmg its DoT stacks nice with demolition*
5 – Boost *helps with reg hit crits at 9X my reg hits crit 7XX+ invenom so not bad*
5-7 Phantom Crow

HE Storyline Solo Quest Guide

Quests:
lv10 quest, "The Fiance of Ka’el Dutton" from Arien(locatted at the entrance when you used town bind=>Kainon=>and run in to Kainon), talk to Turmel and Zhonat Rotus both locatted inside the town of Kainon, use M to your advantage here.

lv20 quest, "Recollect the past" from Quaid Berkins(Kainon General near Guide Office inside Kainon Town), talk to Joshua(Southward inside Kainon town), kills 20 Apir Noble that can be found mostly in D3 of Morrisen/Kainon.

lv25 quest, "Unforeseen Obstacles", lvl25 Quest, start with Joshua. Involves talking to Turmel, Quaid Berkins, Zibrian and ends with delivery to Zibrian.Belonging of Ka-El are located right outside GH. They are like crates called "Waste Pile" lying around on the ground and spawns randomly, but everywhere just around outside GH at coord C6.

lv30 quest, "Immortal Love", talking to Robdun at Orc Fortress, then killing some Dark Soul(within Ahkma).

lv35 quest, "From Exile" : is from Luake Monastery(off Vena) from Lacriss. You have to first kill spectres to get the staff to drop then open some big bags from each of the room in Luake Monastery and you get those quest items randomly.

lv40 quest, "What Happened in the Monastery"(off Vena) from Lacriss. Kill the boss Demon Hezward from lvl2 of Luake Monastery. Best to have a good lvl6x+ pt to assist you, tough boss with magical ranged and stun.

lv45 quest, "The Gypsy Prophecy", Helena (from Ezker bind, buy a Ezker Bind Scroll from GH), you need 25 Elixir(not lesser or anything, just Elixir) and a Book of Luake which you can purchase at 200 crones from Oneal Ezker Island Peddler (located at Ezker bind, just few steps away from Helena)

lv50 quest, "How Times Flies", from Zhonat Rotus (from Kainon town), fighting a easier boss Orc Knight in Armana Manor located near Oct Fortress. It inflict melee attacks but not entirely hard, he is soloable if you are 6x, if not best to get a priest friend to company you.

lv52 quest, "The Cold Season", from Norberto (Rahkon Lvl1 entrance, enter a structure North of Limestone Bind and at the entrance you find Norberto), This involved finding a Key and a Noberto Box. Key can be obtained from Chain Armor Tauric and Box is located randomly, usually at Tauric Room or Ravanna Room. However, please be reminded that you can hunt the Key in party, but not open the Box in party mode. If not both keys will be consumed. This happened to me as i forgot to withdraw from party and had to endure another session alone finding the key as my partner completed and left >_<. Basically, best do your solo quest in Solo mode, apart from boss quests.

lv55 quest, "Behold The Truth", from Jerop (at Limestone bind, one of the tentage). You be killing some really easy Chaos Ursa located at Map Geizan, coord i8-9.

lv55 quest, "The place that Escaped Fate", from Agnes (from Limestone bind, Limestone Foothill Guard, right beside the bind, person whom you save your bind with), Delivering report to 2 personnels, 1 called Ghoster 1 called Toaz. Ghoster is at Shrouded Mansion West of Pine Plateau Bind or South of LimeStone Bind. Locating him is tricky… he is located at the frontal part of the Mansion, at the specters site. A first-person directions will be, enter the very main front entrance of Shrouded, you see on your right specters, but continue frontward and on your right again at the 2nd site, you will see Ghoster. Structural based directions will be taking 4 corners from the very front entrance, he is at the North-East corner of the specter site. If you cant locate him still, just walk to each of the 4 corner of the specter site, and you gotta be very near before you can see him, a true Ghoster ~_~". Toaz is just located at Geizan Map coord H4.

lv58 quest, "The Identity of Merchants", from Jerop(at Limestone bind, one of the tentage). This time you head back to Map Geizan, coord i8-9 killing some Chaos Drake.

lv60 quest, "First Conversation in 50 years", from Jerop(once again at Limestone Bind). 5 rainbow trout for this quest. Fish it..and with luck, if not buy them =x And submit them to Queen of Vena, and i hope you dont get bugged out, cuz you should receive a Queen Pendant. If not please kindly approach a GM on live messenger for assistance.

lv62 quest, "The Honorable Death", To talk to Rihit Del Lago(King Of Einhoren/Human town), get the authority to hunt Shard of Baron Victor Vlen boss, then proceed to Black Dragon Santuary at Geizan C8 with a party to kill it. This boss can be done and finished in party. Get some good min 7x DD and priest to go with you. Can be very tough if you attempt at 6x, he hits hard. After finishing go back to King of Einhoren/Human Town to complete the quest.

lv66 quest, "The Attack on Water Temper Garden", start with Rihit Del Lagos(King of Einhoren/Human town), hand in a work report to Jerop(situated at Limestone Bind) in which he will ask you to hunt down Aqua Archer. Aqua Archer, must be done solo and killable with just 1 person. Can be found at C8 from Pine Plateau Bind. Once done, report back at Jerop.

lv72 quest, "Monster and More Monster", from Jerop(at Limestone bind near tentage). Now the target is Aqua Armorer, go to D3 of map Del Lagos/Einhoren, must be done solo and killable with solo. Just beware that he may hit a little hard but has short life. Report to Jerop once done.

lv80 quest, "Sacred Blood Knights", from Tyra(at Limestone bind near tentage near Jerop). This involve killing of 50 Luake Fanatic. Luake Fanatic are situated at Spire of Redemption C2 of Limestone bind. As you enter Spire, go to your right, and you will see a few hidden behind the buildings there, dont need to proceed up the stairs as there are none there. There are a total of 10 on the entire right side. Once done, report back to Tyra

lv82 quest, "Belladios, the Key Instigator", from Tyra(at Limestone bind near tentage). Involves killing of a mini boss Diozma Belladios. Can be found at I7 of Geizan. If you look specifically at Geizan Map I7, the mini boss is found just alittle South of the River Stream, not above. Must be done solo and can be done solo. Report to Tyra once done.

lv84 quest, "The Queen that Awaits a Hero", from Tyra(at Limestone bind near tentage). A visit to Rima Regenon, Queen of Vena town.

lv84 quest, "Crystal of Chaos" from Dobert (at Limestone bind near tentage beside Jerop and Tyra), to collect Crystals of Chaos by killing 100 Dulahan Magicians in R4. Can be done in party. Please at least get a high priest before going with this quest and best with some DDs, cuz you going get aggro like mad at R4 and Dullahan Magicians hit hard too. Report back to Dobert once done.

lv84 quest, "The Wall of Diozma" from Rima Regenon(from Queen of Vena), then talk to Dobert at Limestone Bind.

lv84 quest, "With united strength" from Dobert(at Limestone bind near tentage), to hunt R4 miniboss in each room, set of 4 would be all the lvl75 bosses: Groghtto, Varcyon, Belzac, Fel Conscript. Can be done in party, and please gather at least 2 parties of 9x(or just join in your guild’s daily/weekly/random boss raids) to proceed. Proceed back to Dobert once done.

lv84 quest, "Soldiers on standby" from Dobert, talk to Dobert to complete.

lv84 quest, "Darkness to Light", from Hoyar(at Limestone bind near tentage next to Dobert), to hunt R4 main boss Zeitgeist right in the middle. Get at least 2 parties of 9x to proceed. Good luck.

Successful Ranger Guide

Skills
-This is my ranger build, the points that i’ve put into magic guard, rank shot, trick, and premium shot can be used elsewhere to your own preferences.
-I believe a base vit of 160 is good for ranger, i know that is a lot of base vit, but at end game, you will be needing it.
-I choose Ice imbue because Darkness doesn’t affect every class, only Ice does.
-The skills i will be listing below are the skills i’ve got in lvl 6, i will list them in order of importance: Alacrity Blow, Nimble, Crossbow Mastery, Speed Wind, Siege Shot, Fatal, MurderShot, Ka`els Arrow, Double Strike, StripShot, Enchanted Arrow, Winged Foot, LuxuryShot, LongShot, Root.
-Of those skills, these are the ones i have lvl 7: Alacrity Blow, Nimble, Crossbow Mastery, Speed Wind, Siege Shot, Fatal, MurderShot, Double Strike, Winged Foot

Stats Build
-A common and good stats build for beginners is 3dex 1vit every lvl, when you get up to 70+ you can decide how you like to play your ranger.
-Full Dex = 3dex 1vit up to 50, full dex up to 99, you will result in maximum dmg, but once you are stunned, you’re gone, this build works well with dmg drop xbow or crit xbow for max dmg.

-Tanker = 3dex 1vit up to 70, by 99 you should have between 160-170 BASE vit, you will result in much higher defense, taking more hits than a full dex build, more hp, but you still maintain a high dmg output, this build works very well with dmg drop xbow, but crit xbow is still an available option.

Accessories
-Due to base vit of 160, I do not wear anything that has Vit at all, i wear all Dex rings 30+ Dex, Goggles and Earrings +2x Dex

Weapon
-Levels 59 and under should use +Dex weapons and when you forge, you should add +Mp/Hp Absorption, +Dmg Drop or +Weapon Attack
-Levels 60+ you should start making +Ranged Attack weapons and when you forge, you should add +Crit % or +Dmg Drop ONLY, so you can get a high % out of it.
Gear

-Basic stuff, you would want high physical defense, don’t bother with magic defense because you mdef is low as is, so it won’t help you
-When enchanting, i suggest you get +HP

Pet
-I suggest ONLY 4 pets to choose from:
Soft Kahto: gives mobility speed, good with either build.
Brave Dragon: perfect if you go with dmg drop, does consistent damage in PVP/PVE, goes well with Speed wind/Siege shot combo.
Power Tiger: perfect if you choose the crit xbow, increases your crit rate by 3% and reduces crit dmg by 15%

Molly: excellent for PVP use, gives extra boost of 3k hp/mp at lvl 1, has a 5% chance to dodge all attacks. and it also auto heals if your hp is less than 20% which is a huge plus when you’re stunned/deathcalled/rushed, but Molly or the Brave Dragon can be a huge debate because in end game PVP, that 3k hp/mp might not help much due to the dmg you will be taking from other lvl 99′s
PVP! Taking down others

-Observe which and how many of each class there is and take down the ones you can, reducing the amount of people is always a good thing to help your comrades.
-I use Speed wind/Siege shot combo to take down Dekans, Defenders, Guardians
-save skill spamming for Dhans, Mages, and Archers
-Key to pvp is to understand all class skills and buffs, its best to know how your opponent fights.
-Perfect timing is critical, pay attention to your opponents buffs and current skills activated, timing your combo can decide the outcome (watch for stoneskin, roha’s blessing, mirror shield, etc etc)
-RUNNING is your friend, don’t be afraid to run in a battle if you are outnumbered, and learn how to KITE them (run and shoot)
-Don’t forget to use your Ka`els Arrow! i see lots of rangers rushing to pk and always forget kaels arrow.

Elf Int Templar Build

I have quit Rohan for over a month now, but I would like to pass on what I learned about Templars. Just to let you guys know… I started playing Rohan in December of last year on the JP servers. Before moving over to English Rohan, I talked to several high level (9X) Templars and got their take on things. On English Rohan, I played Int Templar to level 78 before quitting.

The Role of an Int Templar:
I think that the role of a Templar is often misunderstood – especially at lower levels. Before level 50, people often invite you to parties assuming that you will be able to keep everyone alive and are disappointed when they realize that you are Int based. The following is what I think a Templar should do in a party.

Before Level 54:
PVE:
In PVE, you should advertize yourself as a Puller, Resser and Backup Healer with a bit of Damage thrown in. I found that I could make myself the most useful in a party by luring with a wand / shield. The added defense of the shield and my ability to self heal really helped me stay alive pulling mobs for my party. If anyone died, I would be the first to res. Often times I would Chrono my Res so as to be able to res 2 people in quick succession. This allowed the priest to continue healing while we recovered party. In between pulling mobs, I would often throw out a heal or two to help the Priest out a bit. This was especially useful for high Vit builds where one heal would only really fill up half of their HP.

PVP:
Before Level 54, you aren’t too useful in PVP. You basically only have one attack (Holy Light) and the rest is Staff damage.

After Level 54:
PVE:
PVE after level 54 is a lot easier. Firstly, your buffs work wonders for mage classes. Inteligence Blow, Brain Blow and Mental Blow really boost the damage of any Dark Elf. This coupled with Priest buffs can greatly speed up the kill speed of any party. It is very important to always keep your buffs up at all times. Other than buffs, if there are no Half Elves in party, you should be pulling and providing support like before. If you aren’t required to pull, you can go about dealing damage and AOE stunning to relieve pressure off of the priest. At my level, players are strong enough so that me auto attacking with Blunt Mastery with Group Euphoria on is enough to keep the party alive and at full HP – so that is usually what I do.

PVP:
You really start to excel at PVP once you start filling out your PVP skills. You do a good amount of damage with your normal Mace attacks and of course your magic attacks. You can keep a target stunned for around 15 seconds using your stuns + Chrono. Debuffing Dekans and Crit classes are great and reflecting statuses is quite funny.

Attributes:
3 Int : 1 Vit
Keep this ratio all the way from 1 – 99 (From levels 51 – 70 add 5 Int 1 Vit odd levels and 4 Int 2 Vit even levels)

Here are the base Templar skills that you will be needing (All level 6 skills can be taken to 7 if you have enoguh money). I would recommend getting the PVP skills later on.

I don’t like the damage / recharge on Marea’s Anger so personally I wouldn’t get it.

Weapons:
Templar is a very expensive class! You will need to maintain several weapons to be effective.

Before Level 54:
Staff:
Usage: Soloing or whenever you want to do damage.
Options: Spear of Roha (Weapon Attack)
Stats (in order of importance): Magic Attack, Int, Vit

Wand:
Usage: Used with a shield for pulling.
Options: Goblet of Ohn (Speed) and optionally the Option that increases your Armor Defense
Stats (in order of importance): Vit, HP

Shield:
Usage: Used with a wand for pulling.
Options: Protection of Marea (200 – 400 HP) if you are daring!
Stats: P. Def.

After Level 54:
Mace:
Usage: PVP or whenever you want to do damage.
Options: At least one Teardrops of Edone (HP / MP Leech) to keep up Group Euphoria during PVE and the Attack Speed Option.
Stats (in order of importance): Melee Attack, Int, Vit

Staff:
Usage: For Buffing Blunt Mastery (See the buffing section below)
Options: Spear of Roha (Weapon Attack)
Stats (in order of importance): Magic Attack, Int, Vit

I also have a Buffing Wand which just has the option which reduces MP required to cast.

Buffing Blunt Mastery (AKA Why Blunt Mastery damage is NOT Bugged)
Many people say that Blunt Mastery doesn’t do as much damage as it should and that it is bugged but from my experiences, it works pretty much the same way that it does on JP Rohan. The trick to getting the most out of your mace is how you buff. When you cast blunt mastery, it goes off of your CURRENT Magic Attack. Therefore, you should do what you can to get the highest Magic Attack rating. Here is the proper way to buff Blunt Mastery:

1) Buff Inteligence Blow on yourself
2) Buff Brain Blow on yourself
3) Switch to your Staff
4) Buff Blunt Mastery on yourself
5) Switch back to Mace

Your current Int value also affects how much damage your mace does, so make sure to keep Brain Blow on!

A Detailed Guide to the Guardian Class

A lot of the other class forums seem to have guides for classes, so I feel like it’s about time we have one dedicated thread to the Guardian class. I know a lot about the class as I have played both a strength build and a dexterity build both with very good gears. I also have witnessed first hand the strengths and weaknesses of both builds as I PvP a lot =)

**These views are just my opinions and are based on my personal experiences. As always, your opinions are welcome should you decide to share them.**

Alright, on to the good stuff:

Base Stats
Strength Build: Most people follow a 3:1 strength to vit build. This is a good starting point as you will do pretty decent damage with decent gears as well as have the HP boost to survive while grinding. However, as a strength build you still need to accommodate for dex in your build so that you can hit mobs every hit without missing. Personally, I stayed with base dex all the way up until level 60 where I was able to use four Wings of Solemn Death (15 strength, vit, dex). I made up for my lack of dex by utilizing level 1 Invoke (20% boost) and dex accessories. If you are not a member of the Exchange Market, I suggest still using dex accessories so that if you ever do get your hands on a Wings of Solemn Death, you do not have too much dex (unless you wish to have it that way, I know many Guardians who do).

Dex Build: This build is often referred to as a cash-user’s build as it is incredibly gear-dependent. I don’t suggest using a full dex build, but instead a 3:1, 4:2, 6:2 dex to vit stat distribution. Many people just put in 1 or even 0 points of vit per level in order to maximize their critical hit damage, but remember this: you will be a crit-based build and should have little problems taking down players as high above you as 5-10 levels depending on your level and weapon.

Hybrid Build: This is the most powerful build for a Guardian there is but it’s very gear-dependent. Without the proper weapons and armor, you will be squishy (lose more pdef than you think you would from the strength/vit you lose per level) and an easy target to take out and if you don’t have the proper weapons then you won’t be taking advantage of what the hybrid build offers — steady base hits with devastating crits. The majority of your stat points should still be going into strength, with a point or so going into dex every level. 2:1:1 strength-dex-vit or 3:1 strength-dex is the preferred build here. Unless you are very experienced, I suggest the 2:1:1 simply because as a new player it is hard to survive without any vitality at all…especially if you don’t use EM or have high level mains where you can farm the necessary boss drops.

Skills
The base Human skill tree looks vastly different for both builds. Starting with the absolute minimum, these are what they should look like:

Strength Knight:
5 Imbue
1 Taunt
5 Rising Might
5 Sharpen Blade
1 Invoke

Dex Knight:
5 Imbue
1 Taunt
5 Protection
1 Psychic Crash
5 Crash Above
1 Sharpen Blade
5 Invoke
5 Bless Shield

Psychic Crash and Crash Above are HIGHLY recommended as even towards end game you end up having a pretty ridiculous amount of free points…I just suggest getting this as every Dex Guardian IMO should have this possible 3rd stun. You don’t have to level it right away in order to save points for the Guardian tree (mainly because you use a lot of points on the Knight tree as it is), but it’s definitely a must-have by end game IMO.

Hybrid Knight:
5 Imbue
1 Taunt
5 Rising Might
5 Sharpen Blade
5 Invoke

The only difference between a Hybrid build and a Strength build on the first tree is Invoke. It’s a must-max for the Hybrid build, while the Strength build doesn’t really utilize it at all.

Now, as a strength build myself, I highly suggest putting 5 points into Sharpen Blade. When you turn 50 and get Sword Mastery, these are amazing buffs to have on that help greatly with PvP against players close to your level (not to mention PvE, too). I have said this so many times before, but weapon damage is one of the most underrated things in this game. Many players try to be ‘cheap’ and save points for the more flashy skills like Order Swing and Crazy Standing…but with this bare minimum build you will have plenty of points to max all of the necessary skills on the Guardian tree as soon as they become available.

Why not Protection? If you really do want this buff, go for it…but it doesn’t prove to be very useful until you are wearing Ka’el or Edwin armors. IMO those 5 points are better spent elsewhere altogether as a strength Guardian, as I just get the Defenders/dex Guardians to buff me with it if I need it. It is a nice buff to have to be nice to the people in your party (puller, mage, healer), but it’s still not very useful until later on in the game.

These are still just the basic skill builds to follow. Throughout all my time spent doing PvP, I rarely wish for a longer duration of Roha’s Blessing, yet love Stone Skin being maxed due to how it lasts for the entire duration of Order Swing. If you wish to have Roha’s Blessing do the same, level 3 lasts for 30 seconds. With these skill distributions, there will be plenty of points left over at level 62 and above to work on the rest of your tree to make your character fit your playing style.

Accessories
Strength: Pre-60, I suggest using dex accessories in order to make up for the lack of dex in the stat build. Post-60, four Wings of Solemn Death are the best way to go until R4 boss drops start becoming more common. On Marea, hardly anybody has them and I don’t think anybody has a full set of any R4 boss drops yet. If you are not a member at all of the Exchange Market, try to keep your dex even or slightly above your level and with the other accessories you can use strength and vit.

Dex: Pre-60, use any combination of dex/vit accessories as these are the only two stats you should ever be putting points into. Post-60, I still suggest using Wings as you get an extra 60 physical defense from a full set as well as 15 dex and 15 vit on each accessory. The same applies for dex as strength — until R4 drops become more common, Wings are the way to go. If you don’t have an EM membership, dex and vit accessories will work just fine.

Hybrid: You can get away with using any accessories that add strength, dex, or vit up until level 60 where you should be using four Wings of Solemn Death. You don’t have to worry about making up for your dex with accessories because you should be adding it every level or so (since that’s kind of the point of a Hybrid) and you shouldn’t have any problems missing.

Weapons
Strength/Hybrid: You should always try to use a Unique weapon if you can make one. If not, at least try to forge Rare weapons in order to benefit from the option stones. For the 1st and 2nd unique weapons, you should be looking for +strength, +vit, and +dex — in that order. Starting with the 3rd unique, you should find weapons with +melee attack percentage as high as you can get it. Why not until the 3rd unique? At a low level you will not benefit as much from the melee attack bonus as you would the strength bonus since each point of strength is equal to 3 melee attack. Which option stones should you use? HP/MP leech for PvE, damage drop/attack speed/critical percentage for PvP.

Dex: All weapons (daggers) should be made with +dex or a mix of +dex and +vit and should be using 4 crit option items when forging the unique. Playing a dex build with anything but a unique critical percentage dagger is just flat out painful and I do not suggest it.

Armor
All Guardians should look for high +physical defense bonuses as a first priority. We are a melee class and will always be taking hits, so physical defense as high as you can get is ideal. Magic defense is very nice to have as well, but is not really necessary until late game (80+). By then, you can get full armor sets with great physical and magic defense from solo quests and then make them into a nice Edwin set.

Which pet should I use?
A Strength build should use either a Soft Kahto, Molly, or a Honey Bear. I’m a firm believer in the in-game pets being the best as I have found that the Hawk did not help and the Tiger is just not necessary. The only Item Mall pet that has proven useful is a Dragon, but even that isn’t useful until a high level when it starts doing good damage. Personally, I use a Soft Kahto because chasing down Rangers in PvP is fun.

A Dex build can use either a Power Tiger to increase critical rate, or if you have a 15 crit dagger and level 7 Crit Aura, you can use a Honey Bear for the extra HP or a Molly to help out your survivability even more. You will still crit very often, don’t worry, and the extra survivability is very nice if you choose to go that route.

Hybrid builds can use any of the above mentioned pets — it’s up to you which suits your playing style best. If you use a shield, though, a level 3 Molly is insane especially stacked with a 20% block rate.

PvP!
The essential skills to PvP are Rush, Crazy Standing, and Order Swing. There’s much more to being a successful Guardian in PvP, but as you play you must learn through your own experiences how to play your character well. There is very little I can tell any Guardian to help them improve in PvP other than practice. I got plenty of advice from a fellow Guardian in my guild, but none of it was of any use to me until I was able to go PvP every day against a rival guild.

The best piece of advice I can give is to know your opponent. It’s useless to go after somebody who you hit 4′s on, so if you are out-matched you can simply help out in group PvP with your stuns, War Cry, and Heavy Weapon instead of being a main killer. Otherwise, just go after the people you know you can kill within a single rush…or help stack stuns on more powerful players in order to drop them with a team effort.

The most important thing to remember about your character is that this game is based around group PvP. If you are into duels, that’s cool…and you can build your character that way. All I’m trying to say is don’t look at a build and come up with a billion counters to it and then think it sucks..because the truth is, half of it is just theory anyway. I see people in other forums question certain aspects of builds because of the 7 million counters to a certain skill…but that’s why this game IS balanced. Any build is countered and it’s important to play your character to its strengths and not its weaknesses.

Shield?
For a Dex build, a shield is an absolute necessity.

For Strength/Hybrid builds, once again this depends on your playing style. If you’re somebody who wants to just go full out offensive, use a dagger in your off-hand. If you want a little bit more survivability as well as the extra stun, go for the shield. It is possible to become a very good Guardian with either route, but I suggest having both a dagger and a shield in your inventory which you can use at any time.

Rontu’s HP Bomber build for Dragon Fighter

Here’s a simple, effective build that should give you an easy time going solo in the early levels, and has good promise for future PvP-ing and high level PvE. However, keep in mind this is for lvl 1-50, I’ll think about how to best work it into either Dragon Knight or Dragon Sage at a later time, because I believe it can work for both.

Stats:
You can either go pure vit or get your str around 35-40 going 1str/3vit, then pump vit the rest of the way. I took the latter choice. Dex should be low (as I will explain later) I recommend adding 1 or 2 dex every 5 levels. Around lvl 50 you should have 40ish dex, should be sufficient at that time.

Gear:
In general for armor and accessories, you’ll want something with physical and/or magical defense bonus (usually comes from armor) and high resistance bonus (these are from accessories). Also look for vit bonuses in your armor and weapons. Str bonus is not a must, but it’s nice to have. Again, we’re focusing on your vit and defense.

Important Skills:
Health Funnel:This is an absolute must for this build. You will need it to replenish your HP for damage output from Forefoot Swing. Max this ASAP.

Forefoot Swing (FFS):THE damage dealer of this build. Your vit is high, and this skill bases the damage off of HP percentage. So logically, high hp = high damage. Use this in conjunction with health funnel to keep yourself alive and pumping out the Forefoot Swing "hp bombs". This attack never misses, hence the low dex needed.

Dragon’s Power:You need this to get FFS. It’s a nice buff and definitely good to have. Keep it up whenever you’re fighting. Max this as soon as you max FFS.

Health to Mana:Rank 1 is enough for this. Your mana pool is small, and your HP pool is huge, so a couple of casts and your mana should be regen to near full. You can cycle this with Mana to Health and Health Funnel to basically replenish your mana and health very quickly,faster than you would if you were sitting, and without the need for pots.

Micellaneous Skills:
Elemental Imbue:Pick one and don’t invest more than 1 point in these. They consume mana at a constant rate, and you need that mana for your other more important skills. The damage you’ll be dishing out from this is insignifact compared to the regular dmg output of FFS. I recommend blaze or dark, and you can use it at early levels, but later on they’re just not necessary and can be a burden to your MP.

Taunt:Of course you have to get this to proceed in the skill tree. In parties, it’s pretty useful since you can take a beating and keep monsters off your squishier members.

Dragon’s Tail:This is necessary to get in order to learn Health Funnel. So far I’ve only put 1 point in this. It’s decent damage early on, but soon you’ll realize that FFS does a greater amount of damage and is a better use of your mana. It’s your choice whether you pump this or not, but put priority in FFS.

Mana to Health: EDIT: Changed to recommend 1 point in this. 1 point is all you need. Again, cycle this with HtM to be a self hp/mp regenerator. It’s optional to pick up this skill, it’s good at early levels but later on Health Funnel does a better job. Still good to have for a quick heal.

Method:
Alright, let me explain how to use this build. Before the fight, buff yourself with Dragon’s Power. Engage a monster and use FFS and (optionally) Dragon’s Tail. If you need healing, use F1 to target yourself and use Health Funnel (it won’t work unless you target yourself). Then just retarget the monster and let yourself auto attack until FFS is recharged again, then use it again. Repeat until monster dies. Make sure you keep an eye on your HP, and if you’re getting mobbed, don’t spam FFS as much. Use Health to Mana when you’ve got maybe 1/4 MP, and Mana to Health for a little bit of extra HP healing here and there. Outside of battle, when your HP and MP are low, simply cycle MtH and HtM back and forth until your HP and MP are nearly full again, and you can throw in a health funnel in there for good measure.

Notes:
– With this build I can take on mobs at 2-3 levels above me, sometimes up to 3 of them, and more at levels equal or below me. I never have to rest and only use pots when the situtation gets tight (too many monsters).
– With that said, do not think you’re invincible. You can’t rush in rambo style and think you’re gonna live through it. Health Funnel has a cooldown so play wisely and don’t overdo FFS without watching your health. You’re still gonna be pretty tough though with your massive HP. Run when things get bad.
– You can actually play a bit of support role as well. If you’re partying with someone who has a better damage output, best to let them do the attacking and you should be using FFS less. Instead, keep your MP/HP up with HtM and keep their health up with Health Funnel. Make sure they aggro first so you don’t have your hands full.

I’ll be working on how to best proceed with this build into either a Dragon Knight or Dragon Sage, it has potential for either depending on stat distribution. Or you can just get a stat reset but I’m not sure how to get that yet lol. More to come soon hopefully. For now, I’d love some comments or insights into things you feel should be changed or what works for you. Questions are welcome as well. Thanks for reading/commenting.

1. Pure strength build. – Pros : Extreme Insane Damage, more damage = faster leveling
Cons : not too high of defense, poor magic def. moderate to bad hp.

2. 3 Strength 1 Vitality. – Pros : Massive damage, moderate hp. fast leveling
Cons : average defense, poor magic defense. moderate hp. cant tank well

3. 1 Strength 3 Vitality. – Pros : Pretty o.k damage. Good hp and good def. tanking build
Cons : poor magic defense. damage not as decent as other builds.

4. Pure vitality build. – Pros : Extremely high hp and good defense. total tanker and PvP ownage
Cons : Low damage, leveling is slow. bad magic defense.

Some Facts for Dekans

1. Add 1-2 dex every 5 levels, as dex is an pretty important stat which improves your accuracy and other stats. Recommended

2. The 2/2 build is not very recommended. Not good in either PvP nor PvE, too balanced in a way

3. Dekans deal massive damage, decent aoes, but has low magic def. Avoid mages

4. This game really isnt about soloing. Its party based. party up with classes (preferably elfs)

5. Dragon Mode is only in non – separation mode

Separation and Non Separation

This is just a simple difference between separation and non-separation

Separation -Using the weapon as 2. Fast speed, lower damage, loses physical def as well.

Pros – fast attacking speed
Cons – lose 10% physical def, less damage

Non- separation – Using the weapon as 1. Slow speed, higher damage.

Pros – higher damage, no 10% physical def lost compare to separation
Cons – slow attacking speed

Dk and Ds – Dragon Knight and Dragon Sage

At level 50, you can move on to sub-classes. 2 for each class. For dekan- it is drag knight and sage

Dragon Knight (DK) – Good damage, but lacks defense abilities. Focused more on PvP imo.

Dragon Sage (DS) – Pretty good damage, little attack skills, but has tremendous buffs such as the defense buff (last skill which brings up 350 + def)

Basically, dragon knight seems like a better class because of its skills but in the long run dragon sage would benefit more because as you reach higher level the buffs with sage is > buffs with knight. Again, this have not been tested, this is pure justification that i’ve gathered from asking other people and reading forum threads about dekans.

To Put it simple, if you would like to go for PvP then go DK because it has better pvp skills. if you would like to go for PvE then go for DS because they have good skills like def boost.

Again, not all of these information are the best. No guarantees. These are just guidelines that i’ve collected.

Elf Templar Build

3 Int: 1 Vit Healer-Templar Build
I thought seeing as my original build was to be 3:1 Int:Vit Templar as stated in the heading, that I will post my revised Templar build which I have actually decided to settle with and am levelling currently.

About this build:
Basically with this build you have multiple roles, you can solo quite well, although we don’t do well if we have multple mobs on us at the same time, at least in the lower levels. I have been told that it does get much easier at higher levels when mobbed due to certain spells we are able to obtain in the Templar tree.

We do deal pretty nice damage, provide some nice buffs for ourselves and those in our party as well as provide decent back up heals if need be. You have skills that are helpful in pvp such as but not limited to; debuffs, reflection and not to mention the mace stun skills which from what I’ve seen and been told by my friends, is alot of fun to use etc.. So while I still have a ways to go, I am enjoying this build thus far and from being around those who are high levels and seeing the potential this build has, I’m eager to level up and have the chance to try it out firsthand. ^^

Ok now for certain skill choices:

-MP Recovery Rank 0 –
Level 99 has MP Recover of 167×60%=100.2+167=267.2. Not worth putting points into in my opinon which could be used elsewhere for a better return.

Magic Barrier Rank 0-
Absorbs physical damage 12 times the caster’s Wisdom. Lasts 60 seconds if not all damage is absorbed.

Level 99 has 40 Psy x 12=480 damage absorbed. Not worth putting any points in this, as again we only have our base Psy and 480 damage absorbed is really nothing even at the lower levels. Again, one can use those points elsewhere.

Heal Rank 4 –
Heals the target for 500% of Int and 500% of Wisdom with 5 sec Cooldown.

One only takes this skill to Rank 4 and not Rank 5 because there is very little return for that extra skill point being used to raise the one rank, not to mention Rank 5 is an extra second longer on the Cooldown as well. Bascially, you will be doing relatively the same amount of healing at Rank 4 as you would with Rank 5 but with a 1 second less cooldown.

For some reason they made Ranks 2 to 3 and Ranks 4 to 5 have very little difference in their corresponding healing rates. I would only recommend going Rank 5 if you obtain the stone/s and intend to raise it to Rank 6 or 7, however, for this build I personally feel that Rank 4 Heal is enough.

Root Rank 4 –
I will only have 1-2 points in this at lower levels, then when I reach level 50+ I’ll add more points, and I may take one point out of something so that I can max this skill.

Mental Barrier Rank 5 -
Increases Physical Defence of targeted player by 20% of Intelligence for 30 minutes. 20% of 487 = 97 Physical Defence added.

At first I was sceptical about the usefulness of the amount given, but even though it might not look like much it really is quite a bit and also a buff that is loved by other classes, especially other casters.

Saint Strike Rank 5 –
At rank 5 it would give 10 ticks over time by 100% of Int and 50% of Wisdom over 30 seconds.

In total this means 1000% int and 500% wis damage over 30 seconds. So that would be (485*10+40*5) = 5050 damage/30 seconds = 168.33.

This is our only DOT (Damage Over Time) spell and worth having at higher levels. It is also handy in pvp or if you are pk’d, especially used in conjunction with Netbind as you can cast this dot then Netbind you both and watch the person’s health deplete. ^^ Having a DOT is also useful for making potting relatively useless whilst dotted. However, I won’t be levelling this up until later levels as at the lower levels your not killing mobs long enough to warrant using a dot.

If your not looking at pvping a whole lot then as I explain below, this skill is one that you may wish to remove points from to invest in something else.

MP Barrier Rank 0-
I didn’t put any points in this skill as we only have our base Psy, so if we did use this skill it would drain our mp very quickly leaving you with very little to cast your spells. I personally don’t think it’s worth it without having any Psy.

I think the remainder skills I chose are pretty much self explanatory as to why I chose them. However feel free to question those skills if need be.

The following skills are those that can have their points removed for another skill:

For PVE
– Saint Strike Rank 5 – You can remove points from this skill and invest them in another skill of your choice. This skill won’t be too useful in a PVE Environment for lower levels as most mobs are killed too quickly for this to be used, however it could help in boss fights at higher levels.

For PVP
– Destruction Rank 5 – This skill is on a 20 second cooldown, you will have your healer nuke plus your mace skills. Also for pvping, you may also split these points between Reveal Hidden and Netbind. Say 3 points in Reveal Hidden and the other 2 points in Netbind, or vice versa. As explained with using the Saint Strike skill above, this way you can cast a DOT (Saint Strike) on the other person just before using Netbind and their health will contiue to deplete.

Guide to Pre-50 Dark Elf PvP

I’m Luthifel of Silva server, currently level 45, and have been PVPing since I was 30 in this .. Due to my lifestyle, I have alot of free time that I wish I could be grinding but can’t, so I post on forum to help the newbs of our race. The proud and elegant Dark Elves.

Even though I am writing guidelines, I am by no means 1337 h4x pr0 of PvP. I just want to provide a general idea to what PvPing is like as a glass cannon mage, and I hope other classes can get some inspirations from reading this, not just Dark Elves. I enjoy PVP, I play Rohan FOR PVP and nothing else. It’s something I think about all the time. To those of you that I pwnd, it’s nothing personal, I simply wanted more pvp experience. To those of you that wtfpwnd me, I thank you, because without you I wouldn’t of gotten better.

——————BUILD—————-
My build as of now is 25x int with 4x vit. All my gears are focused toward maximizing damage output, currently ~1250 matk with dark eye. If you read my solo grinding guide, this is a build made for solo grinding.

——————-SKILLS————–
-Energy Spear lvl 5: I consider this THE damage skill. Low cost (60ish), low cooldown (6sec), high damage, (~350 dmg in pvp every shot). If I had skill stones, this is the first skill I will use it on.
-Cold Wave lvl 5: I cannot PVP melees without this skill. Nuff said. Used every chance I get in this .
-Dark Message lvl 5: Without this skill, I would probably get one-shoted by some classes, dead on the floor before stun recovers. Needed for both PVP and PVE.
-Dark Eye lvl 1: Before I had elixirs for PVP, I used to turn it off to regen mana. Not anymore. Keep it on at all times, with 800 mana pot + elixir + mana coil, you will NOT run out of mana even in the most intense spamming situations. Unless your mana coil was blocked by magic barrier, in which case you may want to turn it off for regen.
-Intelligence Beam lvl 5: My second damage skill, always used to initiate because I want to spam this as often as possible. Generally this skill does more damage than energy spear, especially against people with high m.def.
-Mana Coil lvl 5: Very important skill for PVP, used after Intelligence Beam to maintain full mana after the first two spells. Does less damage than energy spear, cost more mana, but the draining is worth it.
-Health Coil lvl 5: The least used nuke for PVP, The health gained is minimal, the mana cost is way too high, used only when ALL my other nukes are cooling down.
-Wide Encouragement lvl 1: Almost never used in PVP, due to the low cast range. If they were that close, you should be running.
-Frozen Ice lvl 5: Completely imbalanced against melee classes. There is NO anti-slow skill in this game, only break stun/root. 50% mobility decrease means insane kiting, 40% attack speed reduce means GG to dps for melees and archers. At lvl 7, 70% drop in mobility and 50% drop in attack speed.
-Magic Reflection: Only good against other mages and elves, I only got lvl 1 in this skill, but lvl 5 magic reflection is very good. I got pwnd by this once because I didn’t stop nuking after I saw the skill pop out. Considering to max it.
-Dispel: I still havn’t gotten a chance to test this, but I’m positive this is one of the best PVP skills out there. DEs are the least buff-reliant class in the game, considering we only have one important self-buf (dark msg), but this is absolutely devastating to other classes in this .
-Break Barrier: destroying magic barrier for 1 skill point, 1 second cast, 15 second cooldown and 400 mana. I would say that’s a pretty good deal considering how much damage magic barrier can absorb from us.
-Cure Silence: once in a blue moon, a Dhan will silence you. If he’s pro enough to use it at the right moment, and you don’t have cure silence handy, he just might rape you with it.
-Broken Bag: I also never tried this, but from what I heard, this skill is bugged. I’m also not sure how resistance works yet, so this skill will not be part of my arsenal for a while.

Spell rotation means managing our skills to ensure nuking nonstop with our 4 nukes. Sometimes, in group PVP, you are allowed to nuke freely, This is how you maximize your damage efficiency.

Assumption: Every skill you use is 2 second cast, followed by 1 second normal attack, totaling 3 seconds per skill.

The general idea is to maximize damage. In the 30 seconds, you would have used int beam 3x, energy spear 4x, coils 2x each, and one disable. This is the most damage/time efficient spell rotation I can think of. Contributions are welcome.

—————–SOLO VS. Other Classes—————
Since everyone’s still nub, this is very biased opinion, because I could of been fighting someone who doesn’t know how to use his/her class to the fullest.
One thing to keep in mind, if you couldn’t kill someone before the pot cools, chances are you will never kill. Mages has possibly the high potential to chase people down for the final blow.

Melee:
If I initiate, start with an int beam, if he doesn’t go after me, continue with spell rotation. If he immediately go after me, cold wave, mana coil, energy spear, health coil, frozen ice, kite with all 4 nukes while holding back movement key throughout the process. When he gets to close, immediately taming mind, move to max distance, and cold wave again when it cools. Continue with spell rotation. Sometimes frozen ice, cold wave, and taming mind are ALL cooling down, If this is the case, running is your best option, unless he’s on the verge of dying. This also means 1) you didn’t manage kiting too well OR 2) he’s too tank for you to kill. If you have to resort to trading blows, chances are you will lose. If you have to run, his pots will cool, meaning this fight will most likely end in a draw.
If he initiates, immediately taming mind and move to max distance then cold wave, followed by 3 nukes and frozen ice and kiting, the rest is same as above in this .
The differences between the 3 melees is not too big for us. Kiting is key. Dhan is usually fastest to die, followed by knight, then dekan, which can heal. High vit dekans are near impossible to kill due to their high hp and heal. But they can also never kill you because dekans do not have a stun/root to keep the dps on you, if you can’t win, you can always run. Dhan has the highest chance of killing you with mana burn, stun, and confusion. Be extra cautious when kiting dhans and try to keep health over 40%, don’t wait until you are 20% health to pot. Dispel Dhans if possible, removing crit from phantom crow and crit buffs in general, you have much higher chance of killing Dhans, especially the agi dhans, even if you are trading blows with him. Keep cure silence ready, if he does it right before you disable, and he’s melee’ing you, you can be pretty screwed. Knights have a stun and a nuke, alot of them does good dps, but there isn’t too much they can do about you kiting, and they don’t heal. If you can outdamage the pots, you can win.

Archers:
Archers have the potential to kite you with ice arrow and root, a pro archer is constantly moving back and shot from maximum distance, and does quite a bit of dps considering our weak p.def from lack of vit. The key here is stay within a certain range, around 20m, so you can use your spells, and he can’t melee stun you. Basically, move back if he tries to get close, and move forward if he tries to get away. Cold wave is generally not needed, and frozen ice is much more important. Cold wave does not stop them from dps’ing, the only choice is to outdps them, and frozen ice is crucial to doing exactly that (40% attack speed drop). If they decide to run, that’s when you use taming mind/cold wave, and then get closer and finish-off. A higher leveled archer who can outdps you will most likely kill you if he initiates. Slow + root + a few shots, you’ll be 2/3 hp when you start casting your first spell. Pot, taming mind, max distance, frozen ice, and run. Try to initiate the battle yourself and you will have a much better chance of winning in this .

Healers:
They are pretty much impossible to kill unless they are lower leveled, is nub, or can’t heal for shit.
Your best shot is to get him to low HP with spell rotation (to around 15-20%), and taming mind before he heals, get close, int beam followed immediately by wide encouragement. Use mouse click movement right after int beam to cancel the normal attack after int beam. Break their barrier every time he puts it up. This is a huge drain on mana and you will have to use mana pot. NEVER use mana coil when he has barrier up, this WILL screw your mana up hard. Healers are not meant to be killed solo, as far as I’m concerned, they can tank 3-4 people attacking at once sometimes in this .

Other mages:
WIth magic reflection, there is no way you can kill another mage, or for him to kill you. DO NOT nuke if he has magic reflection up, just wait for it to disappear. Otherwise, without reflection, this is pretty much a war of DPS. If you have dispel and he doesn’t, it’s pretty much won if you can dispel his reflection and he can’t dispel yours.To be honest, a mage with more vit will most likely rape me in a 1v1 duel, although it rarely happens because I can always run with reflection and disable. I havn’t fought alot of mages in general, there aren’t alot of mages in rohan as far as I could tell in the .

Guide to Dark Elf Solo Grinding

I’m a level 38 dark elf going warlock, and I’m just there to share my experiences. All you 1337 pr0z please ignore this post.
I would like to thank Vitam and my guild for the help and support on grinding.
I would also like to thank all the elves who were willing to buff me with int blow. (altho "int blow me" sounds pretty weird, the translators probably had no idea what "blow me" meant. )

STATS
The most common build for warlock is 3:1 int:vit. For PVP oriented players maybe 2:2 or some prefer 2:1:1 int:psy:vit. Or maybe you have your 1337 build all figured out. But as far as I am concerned, as of now, I’m putting every single point in int. If you want to grind fast, you gotta kill fast, if you want to kill fast, you get more damage. Eventually you will want to add vit for PVP purposes, but you can always put vit later. You can either put 3:1 every level and level at mediocre speed, or you can put 4:0 for the first 3/4 levels and get all vit later to level at max speed and get the same build. Your choice.

QUESTS
Sorry, I never do quests. Grind all the way. By moving around for quests, I get distracted by all sorts of other stuff and end up wasting time on thing I shouldn’t be.

GEARS
Don’t worry about equipments, get the best staff you can for your level, but do not waste time trying to find/make/buy a better weapon/armor, it’s simply not worth the time. Had you put all that time working for equipments on grinding, you could be wearing the next set already. The general rule for equipments, the following stats are most important, in order: +x int, matk + x%, +x p.def, +x psy, +x health regen. You’ll notice I did not put +x mana regen, because it is completely worthless. We will not regen mana when we have dark eye on, and all our mana come from mana coil if managed well.

GOLD
Items I spend money on, in the list of important: teleportation stones, pots, pet food, gears, refine.
Try not to spend time in town unless it’s absolutely necessary, know what you will do beforehand so that you won’t be running back and forth. As soon as you are done, go back to grinding. You ARE a machine.

PET
As far as grinding goes, teleportation is most useful, followed by speed, and then hp. Considering it takes 500 hours for the pet to level up, you’ll want to have them out as often as possible. Personally, I picked speed pet.

MOUNT
Mount is totally overrated. As far as grinding goes, mount is next to useless. If you can keep grinding until level 50 nonstop, I suggest skipping the level 30 mount. By the way, pet and mount stacks if you didn’t know.

GUILD
When you have a guild, the 1337 gears you get that you can’t use won’t be wasted, and you can instantly store items in via guild mail. But if you really want to help your guild, you should party them for exp instead of solo. In which case this guide is NOT for you.

GRINDING TIPS
-Drink pots to save time whenever you can. Grinding is all about efficiency. Pots boost efficiency.
-If you ever have to sit, which you shouldn’t have to past lvl 15, turn off dark eye, as it disables mana regen completely. If you are uber 1337 h4x pr0, turn off dark eye on/off for max mana regen, while grinding.
-Never run around too much just pick up crones, they waste time to pick up and most of your income will come from selling accessories and item loot, the crone loot is maybe 15% of all my income, had you spend that time on grinding instead of picking up, maybe the item loot will outvalue that 15%.
-Always press TAB to find the closest target possible to save yourself time. You will notice after the monster die you will not be able to TAB to the next monster. You’ll just have to TAB twice (took me forever to figure this out)
-Personally I prefer finding a spot of 3-4 spawns close to each other in a way that after I kill the 3rd or 4th monster, the 1st one re-spawns. This grants constant speed for leveling. If you stand in the middle of them, you never have to run too much, saving time. By not running around too much and memorizing the spawns, you will not die because something spawned next to you. The two main causes of deaths for me are 2 crits in a roll and random spawns. I deal with crits by drinking pot.
-When you normal attack, you can press QWEASD keys to move, this is very helpful, try to have the monster hit you only once before it dies instead of two.
-If you can use a teleportation stone, don’t walk. If you want to go to Last Warzone, click Meeting Hall and buy the portal stone instead of walking. Save time = more time grinding = more levels.
-Keep your teleportation in seperate stacks, so if you die, you don’t drop all of them. To seperate, either buy them in smaller numbers twice, or move the item holding SHIFT. I lost my teleportation stone once, and spent 15 mins walking back to montt from orc fortress. That could of been 15% more exp.
-Keep all valuables in storage.
-For the 80th and 100th m.kill, kill something hard ONLY if it’s not too far away. For all others mkill counts (20, 40, 60), don’t bother please, keep grinding where you were.
-The best buff for you is int blow, increase matk by 25% by healer. Get it whenever you can. And I DO mean WHENEVER you can, if you see an elf anywhere, don’t be shy, ask for it. I found most elves were willing to buff me, and trust me, I remember all their names and they shall have my gratitude.
-Do something else while grinding so you don’t get bored to death, I listen to seminar, talk to dormmates, chat on phone, listen to music, drink and eat, chat online all while grinding.
-Grinding on monsters your own level is best because they drop gears you need, you kill faster and die less.
-If there’s something you can’t kill in 2 spells and 3hits and you have to use a 3rd spell, but you feel the damage of the 3rd spell is wasted, here is what you can do. spell -> hit -> spell -> mouse click to move while casting -> next spell. This way, there will not be a normal hit after the 2nd spell, resulting in 3 spells and 1 hit.

Leveling Walkthrough
-1-5 just max energy spear and kill spiders. As soon as you get your first 250gold, go in town and buy a stack of 25 health potions and a stack of 25 mana potions. They are 5g and 4g each. This will greatly reduce your downtime to ensure leveling at max speed. M.kills means a great deal right now, try to kill a nog or something if you can for the mkill.
-6-10 you want to get lvl 1 dark msg. lvl 1 dark eye, lvl 1 health coil, and lvl 2 mana coil. You should be killing the lvl 5 and lvl 7 spiders using a 1-2 spells with normal hits. Remember to keep moving when you normal attack for max efficiency. Kill a golo for mkill.
-10-17 you should kill the lvl 9/12 nogs and 15 spiders directly north of montt. Max mana coil and then focus on health coil. Mana coil costs less and grants you nonstop leveling. If you only get hit once per monster, pot and health coil would be enough to keep you grinding nonstop. Go further north for forlons for m.kill.
-18-25 as soon as you max health coil and mana coil, you should head to forlons. They are northwest of montt, past the blood golos. By the way, golos fail, they are ranged. Forlons are really good for grinding. The way I grind, coil-> hit twice while moving back -> energy spear ->finish, then I start with the other coil. Everytime your m.kill start blinking, go for the calvary.
-26-30 for skills, you have a few options, cold wave, int beam, and encouragement. You should get level 1 of int beam and encouragement for finishing blow, or you could max all 3 of them. Personally I have lvl 5 cold wave and lvl 5 int beam. Revengers are really good for grinding at this point. Keep moving west from montt and you’ll see alot of them one the left side eventually. Go for luzark leaders for mkill bonus.
-31-35 if you REALLY want to max your leveling speed, max encouragement and the crit skills. dark msg is a must for pvp so you have to max it either way. lvl 1 sleep helps alot when you are in trouble. Grind on titanium keepers, they are really well hidden, on the VERY west side of ignis. Move south from last warzone along the road, they are hidden in a valley so you have to climb up the wall on the right hand side. Marvas knight/fel rider for mkill.
-36-38 This is where I am, Fel riders and marvas knights. Directly east from where the titanium keepers are, on a target looking hill. Marvas marksman for mkill.

Dark Elf Wizard Class Build (Pure Group PvE/Pure Group PvP)

The Dark Elf Wizard is group pve and group pvp powerhouse. They have the ability to mow down mobs and deal massive damage with a large assortment of AoE’s. It is best to go with intelligence build until level 50 before switching to the wizard type build.

Stat Build: This build contains a few HP but most of it goes into Psyche to maximize the AoE’s associated with psyche. There also are some points added to intelligence so that you can get a little more magic attack damage when the psyche boosts are applied.

PvE: The wizard is best used in party grinding in dungeons. You have a ton of aoes and a large mana supply to sustain them. You will cut down mobs quickly and you and your party will level very quickly. Only problem you may run into is will there be enough mobs to kill. Soloing really won’t work too well with a wizard as your main damage dealing spells are aoe and will draw aggro to you. If you are in low spawn areas you can take on 2 or 3 at a time with your AoE spells but thats taking a chance. If you are skilled enough you can drop Eternal Darkness on mobs and put them to sleep so that you can wait for your AoE cooldowns. Magic Multi Arrow does a ton of damage but has high cool down of 25 seconds so you are limited in your 1v1 attacks. You can use your Destroy skill to attack 6 enemies at once with your normal attack for 2 minutes. Its nice to have a unlimited AoE attack.

PvP: Wizards are not ideal for 1v1 PvP as they are very limited in 1v1 attack spells. However it can be done if you are a good micro manager. You can use some of your AoE’s in 1v1 pvp but they are pricey. Magic Multi Arrow will be your main weapon for defeating enemies. A good combination of Broken Bag, Cold Wave, Strike Bash, and Wide Pollution can do a good job dealing constant damage and limiting your opponents mobility. You are best suited for group pvp and will have alot of fun doing it. With all your damage dealing AoE’s and AoE stuns will frusterate groups of enemies while crippling their mobility allowing other damage dealers help strike them down.

Stat Point Build at Level 99

6. Magic Boost-Level 5: Critical hit rate increased by 6%. Lasts 30 mins.
7. Mana Coil-Level 1: 30% boost in damage given. 50% of given damage absorbed as MP.
8. Strong Mind-Level 5: 140% boost in Intelligence and 200% in Psyche is applied to the damage boost for critical hits. Lasts 30 mins.
9. Broken Bag-Level 5: Maximum weight your target can carry drops by 40%. Magical resistance drops 50%. Lasts 30 seconds.
10. Wide Encourage-Level 1: Attacks all targets within a 10m radius. 150% Intelligence boost applied to damage.
11. Magice Reflection-Level 1: Receive only 40% of magic damage, and reflect 30% to the attacker. Lasts 20 seconds.
12. Wide Pollution-Level 5: Attacks all targets within a 10m radius. 1000% psyche boost applied to magical damage. Lasts 15 seconds.
13. Portal Warp-Level 1: Warp using the portal stone. Regular portal stone can be used to move all party members that are within 7m.

3. Mentality Shield-Level 5: Shield from Damage 32% of your Psyche shields the damage you receive. Lasts 16 mins.
4. Foresome Shield-Level 1: Protects you from Stun / Root spells for 30 secs. You can use this skill during Stun / Root mode.
5. Revealing-Level 1: Vanish disabled Your opponent’s Vanish mode is disabled for 2 mins.
6. Count Blow-Level 5: Target + 8 behind the target will receive 400% PSY Magical Damage. 15M radius.
7. Magical Piercing-Level 5: Boost in Attack Skill Damage 400% of your Kill Count is applied to your Attacks Skill Damage. Lasts 30 mins.
8. Weakness-Level 5: 20% drop in Maximum HP & MP 20% decrease to your opponent’s maximum HP & MP. Lasts 50 secs.
9. Multi Magic Arrow-Level 5: 50% of your Psyche is applied as Damage to your opponent. 6 attacks.
10. Group Mortal Immune-Level 1: You and your party members are immune to Critical Damage. Lasts 60 secs.
11. Area Dispel-Level 1: Randomly deletes 1 of the buffs that 4 of your opponents possess within a selected area.
12. Ring Burst-Level 5: 190% of your Psyche is applied to increasing the damage you deal to 8 opponents within 10M radius.
13. Mirror Strike-Level 5: 1 time stun to the attacker One time 5 sec Stun to the attacker. Duration 40 secs.
14. Strike Bash-Level 5: 140% of your Psyche is applied to your Damage. Stuns 8 opponents for 5 seconds that are within a 10M radius.
15. Killing Time-Level 1: 2 Cooldown times eliminated Cooldown time eliminated when using regular skills. Lasts 30 secs.
16. Eternal Darkness-Level 1: Makes 4 of your opponents within a 10M radius sleep for 10 secs. Wake up upon receiving damage.
17. Erase Ability-Level 2: Resets the 1st or 2nd set of your skills. (Including the Skill upgrade stone)
18. Destroy-Level 5: Broaden regular attack range Widens the range of your regular attack for 2 mins. Hits 6 opponents. 18% boost in damage.

Dark Elf Warlock Class Build (PvP/Group PvP)

The Warlock specializes in dealing out some massive aoe damage and crippling opponents. This build gives you a few hit points but mostly magic attack power. Its important for a Warlock to keep mobs and opponents away from them or you will die quickly.

Stat Build: This build has a little bit of points in VIT but most of it is distributed into intellegence for maximum magic attack power. You will have trouble with your mana bar with the low psyche points.

PvE: Soloing with the Warlock is fairly easy as long as you don’t have to cast too many skills to kill the mob and can do most of the work with your basic ranged attack. You have some devastating spells for damage but at a high cost and your mana bar will deplete very quickly. Mana Coil will help you out alot but with a 15 second cool down you must use your skills sparingly when waiting for the skill and pot cool downs. You will have alot of success when partying in high level mob grinds as you will be counted on to provide most of the damage and killing for the party. At early levels it will be really tough to dungeon grind as your first aoes don’t do alot of damage but will do enough to get aggros from them. You will find that you will be dying alot without a Healer looking out for you. At later levels you will be the focus point in dungeon grinding and will excel there. You have access to Rise Root, Pollution Mind, and Magic Push. Pollution Mind is a poweful DoT AoE and Rise Root which stuns your opponents and mobs so that other party members can slash away. If you are getting mobbed bad in a dungeon with your aggro you can cast Magic Push followed by Rise Root and you will be okay.

PvP: Warlocks are very good in pvp but their downfall is low mana pool. You can cause some devastating damage but must do so quickly as your mana goes fast with the spamming of those skills. You have a couple good spells to cast so stun and root your opponents using Cold Wave and Rise Root. You can push away melee classes away with Magic Push which is very useful in 1v1 pvp There are so many pvp options available in this build. Broken bag and Broken Treasure can cripple your enemies mobility and disable their equipment bonuses. Using Snatch and Ability Drain are also extremely effective. What makes this build a PvPing machine is also its downfall. Your mana pool is your own worst enemy so kill em fast! Warlock will also excel in group pvp focusing mainly on Magic Push and Riseroot to push away enemies and leave them stuck in their tracks.

Elf Templar Class Build (Pure PvE/Pure PvP)

This is an awesome build for the Elf Templar, great at PvE and great at PvP. Templars are in a sense battle priests. They are extremely difficult to kill in PvP and PvE making it easy to solo and great in parties.

Stat Build: This builds points are mostly distributed in Psyche but has some points in intelligence too. The main reason I put points into intelligence is to get the most out of the Hammer based attacks and the DoT’s (Poison). This also leaves room to add skill points to some of the intelligence/psyche based healing and attack spells. I suggest if you get enough skill stones from cash shop or finding them from mobs you shoudl put them in Mental Barrier or Party Absorb HP, and Absorb HP.

PvE: You have access to Magic Barrier and MP barrier making you impenetrable and nearly impossible to kill. With these skills in your arsenal you will be able to take on multiple mobs at the same time and destroying then quickly without seeing your HP bar ever go down. Doing your quests and solo grinding is a breeze, your only problem is that you might get bored lol. This build allows you to be able to tank some smaller bosses and not feel much pain. However larger bosses that have alot of HP and do alot of damage it might not be a good idea to tank since you have very low hp. This build even allows you to act as a priest in a party if a pure priest cannot be found. Has good healing and good ressurection skills. Unfortunately you can do the killing in the party and need to focus on party survival unless you are great at doing some light killing and healing at the same time

PvP: This build and the Templar are very good in PvP. They don’t have a huge amount of DPS but they can outlast most classes as they can absorb a ton of damage with MP Barrier and Magic Barrier and on top of that they can heal themselves making them immortal You can severely weaken opponents using Dispel on them and deleting their buffs and you have the ability to cast Reflection which makes you immune to enemy harmful effects and casts them back at them. If you are low on mana or your absorbtion buffs are out you can use the Teleport spell to buy you some time for a recast of them.

11. MP Barrier-Level 5: Each 10 HP damage taken is converted to 10 MP consumed.
12. Unravel-Level 1: Removes root status from the target.
13. Hammer Stun-Level 5: 1-handed hammer attack that damages 8 enemies in a radius of 14 meters and stuns for 6 seconds.
14. Final Crash-Level 5: Attack spell with damage equal to 800% of Wisdom.
15. AOE MP Drain-Level 5: Attack spell that damages the target and X enemies around it with 90% MP damage and does 14 times that amount as HP damage.
16. Cast Over-Level 1: The next skill used within 30 seconds can be cast instantly.

Elf Priest Class Build (Light PvP/Pure Group PvE)

If you like be a support type of character then this class and build is for you. This build is not pure group PvE but it get the job done without any complaints from your party. Hard be killed with this build but you will live off your Magic Barrier and pray that you don’t get debuffed when your recast of it is under cool down.

Stat Build: I only put points in 2 areas of that stats. Most are put into Psyche but not all like most builds. I put a decent amount into intelligence to so that you have light pvp ability. This build has more than enough points in psyche to use Magic Barrier effectively and not worry about ever running out of mana in most cases. Intelligence was added so that you could maximize your use of Poison and maximize the potential of spells that are dependant on pysche and intelligence. However these psyche/intelligence skills are not in the build and is intended to be added later when you find skill stones off mobs or buy them in the cash shop.

PvE: The only time you should ever solo is when you are doing quests and that is if you can’t find a party. The rest of the time its good to just live off constantly party matching for high level mob grinds or dungeon parties. Its not too terribly hard, all you have to do is click the heal button here and there, and occasionally group heal. You will be pmed like mad to join parties and you can get into some great boss farming parties and get some really great gears or items for synthesis.

PvP: If you want better 1v1 pvp then go with the templar as priest is not that great at it. You can be tough to kill with you Magic Barrier and some damage reduction spells but you won’t be able to deal enough DoT damage and DPS to kill many people unless they screwed their build up. Priests are very important in grup pvp to keep thos tanks and damage dealers alive. The main focus in group pvp is to keep people alive ::)

Half Elf Scout Class Build (Group PvP/Group PvE)

Scout = AoE simple enough. This class is very powerful when participating in a group PvP and PvE party, especially town wars.
If you are the type of person that enjoys to play in the party then this class and build is the right one for you. Scout is decent at soloing too. Scout can be great at soloing depending on your skill level and your ability to solo AoE and kite.

Stat Build: This is the same stat build as the Ranger class build, you may tweak the stats to add a little more MP or VIT. The reason for this is that you will mostly be in groups and will pull alot of aggro with your AoE’s.

PvE: There are a couple ways to level besides soloing and doing your quests. You can solo decently but you mainly have AoE’s so your prolly best served group leveling. You can do the high mob level grind in early levels that will best suite you. However when you get some of your critical AoE’s maxxed you are best served grinding in dungeons. Due to your multiple AoE arsenal you can go to high spawn areas and spam away your AoE’s on them. Make sure that you have a Healer keeping an eye on you assuming that you are short on damage dealers in the party. You wont’ have too much trouble finding a party in a dungeon under party matching. The speed at wich you gain experience in the party in a large part is determined on you and your AoE damage (you are special) However if you are on a packed or full server the room at which your party can work is minimal and can become frusterating.
If you work at your skill you can level quite a bit faster if you can learn to pull mobs with AoE’s kite with your mobility boost and rain down AoE’s on them. This can be very effective.

PvP: You will have a blast in Town Wars and Group PvP with this class and build. The AoE’s that you will be dishing out will leave your enemies bleeding and stunned. Multi Shot, Rain Shot, and Pouring Shot are all devastating AoE’s in group PvP.
This build has the potential in 1v1 PvP but since you are maxxing your AoE’s, DEX buffs, and increased critical rate spells it leaves little room to spare those extra points. You can always buy skill stones from cash shop or be super lucky and find one off a mob

Half Elf Ranger Class Build (PvP/PvE)

The half elf ranger build in my opinion is the king of solo. This build is designed to bombard enemies from an insane attack range. The Ranger has a decent critical rate and some great rooting spells.

Stat Build: Your leveling points should be distributed as 1VIT – 3 DEX or This ranger build has no psyche so you are gonna rely on pots for your mana so you must be careful not to deplete it too soon.. You will have some decent HP with 130 points of VIT just in case someone might be lucky enough to get close to you.
This build has a large distribution of DEX to boost your ranged attack quite a bit. You will have great damage and a long range to do it in.

PvE: The easiest class to solo with by far and one of the fasted classes to level also. Most mobs won’t even get close enough to you to do any damage since you have long attack range and have the ability to slow your target mobility speed. Only ranged mobs will have that chance to get a few shots off before they hit the ground bleeding. You only really need to cast one skill per mob before they die since you will be doing some nasty normal ranged attack damage. You will also have an easy time when in a high level mob grind party. You don’t really have to move around much just let tankers tank and do a little pulling here and there.

PvP: The ranger class i one of the few classes that do well agains ranged and melee based classes in PvP. You take down magic type classes pretty easily and melee classes can be stunned and slowed down to a crawl before they can get to you. You can do some powerful critical damage at a long range using Critical Shot. The ranger has some great PvP skill at their disposal including Luxury Shot and Premium Shot leaving enemies with missed parts of their HP bar lol. A nice spell to initiate your PvP sequence is Speed Wind which boosts your attack speed to an insane rate that lasts 10 seconds. When a melee class finally does get to you, hit them with Brandish Kick which has a 70% chance to stun target for 9 seconds. You can kite away from enemies easily since you have increased mobility skills.

Conclusion: This ranger build is balanced and you will have extended use of your skills and will be able to solo and pvp well. You don’t have a whole lot of mana so be careful. Remember that range is your advantage, don’t let melee get to close or they will rip you up

Dhan Predator Class Build (Pure PvP/PvE)

This build has alot of similarities to the Avenger build and there isn’t a whole lot of difference stat wise with them. However I do believe the Predator and its build have better PvP spells than the Avenger because of a godly DoT (Scarecrow) and a great stun skill (Heart Trap)

Stat Build: Dhans have several areas of priority for their stat distribution. You can’t overload your stat points in any category especially agility or you are going to be regretting it later.
This Avenger build can do some decent damage with 157 strength and with the added criticals of damage dealing spells this works well. A a good amount of Agility (200) is put into the build to maximize the use of Deadly Blow but not overdo it as to weaken yourself in other areas. You will also have some good evasion too. For DEX we added 100 points so that you don’t miss so much. A little bit of Psyche will be added to boost the mana pool a bit so that you have a little more room to work your devastating spells.

PvE: Soloing is a breeze for this build, you will deal a ton of damage and get alot of 1 hit kills due to crits making you wonder why the mobs don’t just die when they look at you and not even bother.
Ranged mobs can be a pain though because of a relatively low HP. Dhan motto is kill before being killed basically. Dungeon grinding is fun with this build (makes you dizzy). You can be a on a constant killing spree with no real worries about anything leaving tons of dead mobs littered around the party. Be careful when boss hunting or fighting dungeon bosses, you do alot of damage and can pull aggro from them and you will be in trouble (found this out hard way). If your lucky you can get off Confusion Pouch and hope that one of the tanks can pull back aggro with a taunt skill. When you hit 56 you have access to Scarecrow which will which is PERFECT in dungeon parties. Not only will you be slaying monters at a incredible rate with your melee attacks but you will also be killing them from afar with your AoE DoT!

PvP: The Predator has a large array of powerful PvP skills making them an elite mass murderer lol. If you are 1v1 with no mobs around your Scarecrow skill spell and your ravaged attacks will wipe them off the face of the earth very quickly! Mana burn will leave your enemies without skills and give you a percentage of their mana to your health bar. You have a high chance to stun your opponent with Heart Trap at a continuous rate for 30 seconds.

Conclusion: There is not much to worry about other than keeping your man bar full. Hmans and Dark Elfs can give you some problems. Make sure to stun Humans as much as you can and get close to the Dark Elfs and they are done for.

Stat Point Build at Level 99

The recommended spell upgrades:

1. Invenom-Level 5: 100% boost to Elemental Attack Rate, 50% to Defense, 6% chance of 9 additionnal attacks with 99 damage.

Dhan Avenger Class Build (Pure PvP/PvE)

Dhans in general are blood thirsty murderers They sole purpose for being alive is to kill everything in great numbers. So if this is you then you have come to the right place to find a well balanced build of destuction. They critical hit so much it feels like its a normal attack, and thats bad news for your enemies!

You can disable your enemies skills with Silence and then pummel away and bombard them with critical strikes.You can Mana Burn enemies that rely on mana and leave them hopeless too, and then absorb it into your mana bar. You have Health Burn and some other spells to restore your health making you very tough to kill. The Polluting Blood spell is a DoT that will drain the life out of your enemies quickly!

Conclusion: The only things you have to worry about is that you cannot tank well and getting mobbed.Oh yeah and hopefully you won’t get the wrong end of a battle with a Dark Elf. You don’t have that much HP but you kill things before they kill you philosophy works well. You can really own anything 1v1 and its really no sweat. And try not to cheat and attack while in vanish mode

Human Defender Class Build (Tank/PvE/Group PvP)

The best tanking class in Rohan Online is most likely going to be the Human Defender. They have a large assortment of defensive buffs and HP. They are very effective in group pvp with the use of their AoE stun (Extinction). But because of the high casting requirements you must make good use of your mana pool and wait for pot cool downs.

Stat build: This build has low strenght compared to other melee types of classes because the points are a higher priority elsewhere. A decent portion of Pyche have been distributed so that you are able to use more spells with the larger mana pool without worrying about being up against that mana cool down. Most of the points are in VIT so that you have some added defense and plenty of hit points to withstand some beating.

PvE: Soloing is pretty easy for a defender as they can take alot of hits and stun mobs. However they lack true firepower to kill them quickly compared to other builds and classes. Defender is intended to shine brightly in party grinding or boss hunting. They have great party buffs and a Healer at their disposal they are very tough to kill. They are one of the top choices for boss hunting parties and high level mob grinding and can make a huge difference in survivability when the party is being mobbed bad. They can use the AoE stun and give the party a breather.

PvP: This build will have a harder time providing the basic fire power to dispatch opponents but they will have a tough time killing you too. With high defense and HP stats you have be tactical in 1v1 pvp. A good trick is to wait till your enemies health bar get a little below half way (if they let it get that far) and then start spamming your stuns on them so they can’t pot. They excel in group PvP though, with great party buffs and AoE stun can leave enemies sitting ducks so that damage dealers can quickly slaughter them.

Conclusion: try to stay in parties as much as you can through party matching so that you don’t have to solo as it isn’t as effective. You won’t have much trouble with that as most parties love tanks and will need you. Your mana pool is something to worry about so you are gonna be going through a ton of pots so that you can keep using those powerful skills.

17. Whirlwind-Level 5: 180% boost to the damage dealt to your targeted opponent and 8 others around him. They get pushed back 15M.

Human Guardian Class Build (Stunner/PvE/PvP)

The walking stunner! or Human Guardian lol. This class is fun to play and has alot of options. This is a powerful build for the human guardian which will leave mobs powerless and frustrate your enemies.

When playing in PvE give each mob a stun and it will make short work of them and you won’t receive only light scratches. Some of your early stun spells include Psychic Crash and Charge. A later spell, Rush can paralyze your enemies for 6 seconds. This also great for boss hunting as you can feed them a steady dose of stuns. This is not as effective on larger bosses though. Soloing is pretty easy with this build but high mob leveling party grinding is great since you can tank and stun before the mobs can get to the damage dealers.

You have plenty of firepower to dish out some devilish damage. Guardians have alot of buffs that improve your already high strength and boosts your melee damage too. This build has high health so that you can tank multiple mobs. Stone Skin will leave you immune to all physical damage for 30 seconds at level 5 leaving mobs and pvpers at wits end. Order Swing can deal devasting blows as it accumulates a percent of your damage and applies it to the next attack for 30 seconds.

In pvp most people won’t want to mess with you. You have access to a DoT called Bleeding and you have the ability to send a constant barage of stuns leaving them helpless. With great offensive power and health you can make short work in PvP. And you had better kill them fast lol. The thing you have to worry about is your mana pool, its so low and you don’t have any real way to replenish it skills wise besides using pots. The only real skill is passive and uses a certain amount of mana per second to use called Divine. 8% chance to absorb 10% of damage dealt to your mana pool. A great skill to use on melee based pvp is Crazy Standing, insane attack speed and powerful boost in damage dealt! You will only be able to do basic critical damage since the stats in this build do not have any DEX which is required for the critical damage boost.

Overall this build and this subclass is fun to play with the high/second stuns you can do. Just remember to go easy on your mana supply and don’t deplete it so quickly before your mana pot cools down. If you get down pretty low you can use the Drain Blue spell which at level 5 applies 300% of your damage to your enemies mana!

Dragon Knight Class Build (super tank/pvp/pve)

If you are type of the player who is into tanking and having mass HP this Class Build is for you! You are gonna have a ton of HP and going to be able to deliver some lethal blows in PvP with Forefoot Swing.

There is plenty of HP to take on multiple mobs in PvE and not even break a sweat. You will be able to deliver some good damage with your basic attack because of your STR stat boost. In pve you won’t have to worry about running out of mana cuz you have the Health to Mana spell which because of your high hit points will max your MP bar whenever you so choose. This is a great balance between STR and VIT, you could go full vit which would enhance HP and tanking ability but lower your overall basic damage and your attack spells wouldn’t do nearly as much. You will be somewhat limited in PvP cuz of this.

The things you worry about in PvP is you man pool. If you get mana burned you are going to be in trouble, luckily you have pots for this. You have enough basic damage to counter act this though. Along with Health to Mana spell its not a big deal. Another thing to consider is you have really no way to replenish your HP besides Health Funnel and the amount of damage your do with Suction. Try not to let your HP bar below half way before you use Health Funnel or you could be in trouble… well unless you have a useable HP pot that is not on cool down. Your biggest nightmare are ranged attackers especially Magic type classes. Your only hope is to get close to them and whack away and hope your high HP holds up since you have minimal to none magic resistance.

Overall this is a really balanced and safe build that you can’t go wrong with. You won’t die much unless you run into a Dark Elf. You won’t have trouble finding parties for dungeons or boss hunting as a GOOD tank is always needed

Stat Point Build at Level 99

The recommended spell upgrades:
(Dragon Fighter Tree)

1. Level 5: 100% Blazing Elemental Attack, +50% Elemental Defense, 8% chance to convert 9% of damage to HP.
2. Level 1: Targeted monster attacks you, taunt duration increases as you level up.
3. Level 5: 30% melee attack for 30 minutes.
4. Level 1: -25% weapon damage, -10% physical defense, +60% attack speed.
5. Level 5: Uses 10% of HP then converts 275% of it into MP.
6. Level 5: Uses 20% of HP then converts 135% of it into damage on target.
7. Level 1: 180% additional damage to melee attack.
8. Level 1: 80% additional damage to melee attack.
9. Level 5: 150% attack, area of effect damage to targets within 6 meters for 90% of damage from last attack.

Fishing Guide
Fishing" in the event of regional Admission to the fishing spot, in the hunt to win various food items to hook a fish.

Fishing waters, each species in the fishing waters of the city manager to FishingNPC, anyone can enter.
Fishing rod is necessary for the NPC fishing spot can be purchased from the good rod allows the exchange of expensive items that can establish a fish hook will be high.

What is the point of fishing?
Fishing a minigame you can play to rest from grinding and get some really good and even rare items.

2. Where do I get a fishing rod?

As far as I remember you get a Willow Fishing Pole in the tutorial, that’s obviously the most basic of fishing rods. The better the rod the higher is your chance to get a ‘good catch’. There are several different fishing rods in-game (5 to be precise) + some Item Mall ones (I don’t know how many, Closed Beta testers get one for free) here’s a list of the rods I”ve seen:

The NPC that sells them is located in the fishing zone/map and that’s how he looks like:

And this is a Cash Shop rod, apparently a lot of Cash Shop items are time limited >..>

NOTE: Personally I didn’t notice any fishing difference between the cheapest and the Cash Shop rod o_o Seriously I was getting same results. Ok let’s carry on.

3. Um…what now?

So, by now you should have a Fishing Rod, and be at the fishing spot. i’ll explain now how exactly do you fish.

a) Get close to the water, you need be turned towards the water.

b) Open your Inventory and double click your Rod, a window like this should pop up:

I’ll explain the bars in a sec, let’s move for now.

c)Bait! I bet you now wonder "what am I supposed to put there". Well, this is the confusing part, fish in Rohan feed on…Armors,Weapons and Accessories xD Yes, put any piece of equipment in the "Bait" box and press ‘Start"

d)"The Big Green Bar"? You’ll see the green bar going down, it’s the "oh shit! wrong item" bar. If you use something you wasn’t supposed to use as bait you can cancel it by pressing "Pause" before the green bar goes all the way to the bottom.

I mean this green bar, just to make this clear. ^

e) Ok, so the green bar went down and the bar on the left started moving! What now? The marker will go up and down really fast and the little piece of the green bar will also move vertically. To catch a fish you need to press [ SPACE BAR ] but it DOES matter where you do it. If you press space outside the "little green bar" you’ll get a normal fish from which you most likely will acquire something completely useless (Potions,Etc items) . now, you need to focus on stopping the marker in the "little green bar". That’s the premium fish area. Premium fish can get you some really neat stuff (Rares,Pieces of Equipment with bonus stats and even better stuff, you just need to be a lucky bastard). By now you probably noticed the the "big green bar bar" is going down. it’s the time you have left before this fishing attempt ends.

NOTE: From what I noticed you CAN’T fail in fishing, you always get a fish no matter what.

f) So you finally got your first fish but what now O_o. The fish have types going from RED to NO COLOR (not sure about this, need someone to confirm). The higher the type the better items you might get. The types go like this:

GREEN
YELLOW
NO COLOR

-highest-

Each type contain 7 (need confirmation on this) Ranks ex. Rank:0, Rank:1 etc. I believe that the higher the value the better items you can get.

NOTE: The bait quality matters, if you’re gonna fish with NPC items you’ll mostly get low ranked fish but if you’ll use some better equips(with bonus stats or rares) you’ll have a much bigger probability of getting a high ranked fish.

Now, simply double click th fish in your inventory and a window like this will pop up.

This is a random lottery with not equal chances on each slot, it works a bit like the roulette in the casino, the pointer can go back and forth, not only in one direction. I’ll explain each reward slot now going from Top (12 o’clock):

12 o’clock: Random No idea xD
1;30 o’clock: Random Weapon (Normal, Rare, not sure about other types)
3 o’clock: Random Enchant Stone? (didn’t get this yet so I’m not sure)
4;30 o’clock: Random Armor
6 o’clock: Random etc item (Monster claws, blood etc, just some shit)
7;30 o’clock: Random potion
9 o’clock: Random Random Slot? (not sure)
10;30 o’clock: Random Shield

Extra Fish Tips by golladan
The Rainbow Trout is a special fish that you have a very low chance of getting. It has no level because the only thing it can give are option stones or skill stones.

The item at 12 o’clock are option stones.

Each item belongs to a rank. Ranks can go up to 44. Maybe higher. When you use an item for fishing, that rank will be used as base.

If you catch the lowest level fish(the one that will show the rank in Red), you will get an item that is 1 rank lower than the one you put in. Basically, you’ll get an item that is worst.
The next 4 fishes will give you an item of the same rank. You might even get the same item you put in, but with different(maybe better, maybe worse) magical stats.
The next 2 fishes will show the rank as Green, and will give you an item that is 1 rank higher than whatever you put in. You’ll get a better item.
Then the next fish will show the rank as Yellow, and will give you an item that is 2 ranks higher than whatever you put in. You’ll get an even better item.
The very last fish, like I said before, is a special rank-less fish that will only give option or skill stones.

Also, most ranks can end up just giving you potions(and potions can’t be used for fishing), so you might end up loosing your item you could say.

Lately, I’ve noticed alot of people selling fishes for you to try your luck.
*Warning* Before buying fishes from other people, check what Rank the fish says. Rank 0 Fishes will ALWAYS give the brown items that have absolutely no use other than selling to NPCs for very little money. Rank 1 Fishes will only give the lowest level weapons and armors(beginner weapons and leather armor). Elven equipment and stuff around that level doesn’t start appearing until Rank 4 or 5.

Dragon Sage Class Build (tank/pvp)

This is a great Tank/PVP build that i am using and having alot of fun with. The main focus is using Health Drain, and Breath for your main two damage spells. Its is very important to max out Mana to health spell and Health to mana spell. These 2 spells will make you pretty much invincible with nearly no need for potting.

This build will not allow you to deal a whole lot of damage with your weapon as this build has the minimum strenght but you will get a large chunk of damage dealing with Health Drain and Breathe as they are intelligence based.

For your pvp you are gonna need to rely on your ability to maximize your Rapid Lock spell and be able to use youre Mana to Health and Health to Mana spell efficiently. So if you are not good with micro managing during battle this may not be the right build for you. Also because of limited strenght you are going to become a lucky expert at weapon/armor requirement decreasing.

This build has so many options that you can choose from for pve and pvp and has some nice DoT’s. They problem for a typical Dekan Sage build is to not supply the mana pool needed to sustain these spells. Luckily i have done alot of calculating and have come with the proper amount of wisdom/physche needed to fully restore your health bar with Mana to Heald spell. And just enough vitality to fully recover mana bar fully from health. This build has a ton of int for the two main damage dealing spells you are going to be using: Health Drain, and Breathe.

Mana guard is where this build is going to shine and make you pretty much invincible for 60 seconds which is more than enough time to dispatch most classes in pvp.

Stat Point Build at Level 99

The recommended spell upgrades:

1. Level 5: 100% Blazing Elemental Attack, +50% Elemental Defense, 8% chance to convert 9% of damage to HP.

2. Level 1: Targeted monster attacks you, taunt duration increases as you level up.

8. Level 5: Damages target for 700% of Magic Attack value.

Dekan Dragon Sage Build (PvE/PvP)

This build is good for soloing/pve and light PvP. You aare able to solo at an easy pace and party grind easily. You will have exta hp and can do some decent damage with your zhen/melee based attacks.

You will have minimal use of health to mana spell and mana to health to mana spells. The main focus on this build is to maximize your HP and the amount of damage you do with your Zhen weapons with STR.

Cons:
You will need to buy alot of pots and will have trouble tanking higher level mobs without a healer nearby until you reach higher levels. No real good way to restore mana or HP without the mana pool or intelligence needed to maximize those spells.

Pros:
At higher levels you will gain access to spells that add defense to your stats (Inpenatrable and Blue Defense). This will allow you to have some very good defense. You also get some good weapon damage spells and DoT’s which are maximized with your strength stats.

You have alot of firepower to dish out in pvp with a decent amount of HP. You have some spell that will restore your HP by the amount of damage you do so you should be okay there. The thing you have to watch out for is a low mana pool and spamming your high powered attack spell it will deplete fast. You must rely on your mana pots to cool down fast lol. You will have limited use of the mana guard but every little bit helps.

Stat Point Build at Level 99

Leveling Guide!

There are three main ways to level your character in rohan online and i will explain each of them.

Soloing/Quests

This way of leveling is not recommended for grinding purposes unless you have not choice. Before you find a party to grind its really a good idea to get your quests out of the way first. You get some really good exp and good items/gears this way. If you can’t find a party some quests are repeatable for exp and crons so this might be an alternative for you. In general solo grinding is slow however may run into a super fast spawn that you can continually kill quickly in a couple of hits. These spawns are best farmed for exp when they are your same level or a little bit lower. This is rare to find a spawn like this that is not crowded and if you are lucky it will be bare and you can kill all the mobs you want at a fast pace.

Party Grinding in Dungeon

This is prolly the second best way to level in rohan. This also depends and what class you are when grinding in a dungeon. If you are a healer, dark elf, archer type you may have alot of trouble staying alive in the beginning dungeons. You may die more times then its worth and won’t be very productive. Howerver tank type characters will level very fast in dungeons and rarely die… Well unless the whole party dies and they get mobbed by counltess monsters. So its very important to find a GOOD HEALER. Another great bonus about grinding in a dungeon is that you can obtain some pretty nice gears and some orbs/skill stones. You will also run across a boss here and there to get some extra exp boost and some great items.

High Level Mob Grind

In my opinion this is the best way to level your character. Generally you want a team of 3-4 people and you must have a HEALER. I recommend a Tank, Healer, 2 damage dealers. The idea is to go and find mobs 10-15 levels higher than your characters and start killing them. You would be surprised how fast you can kill them as the damage dealers kill them pretty fast. You can also have 3 damage dealers and 1 healer and take turns pulling mobs in and then rooting them. Early in the game you can easily get 2-3 levels an hour this way but as you gain a higher level you will start to slow down a bit obviously. Tip: if you die in a party with no healer just respawn back to town and leave party. Then you can register in party matching and you will be reinvited back to party and teleport there. Make sure you have plenty of summoning stones!

Conclusion

By mixturing in these 3 types of leveling you can level at a very fast pace and get some great gears along the way. These are the best ways that i have found to maximize the amount of time playing the game so i hope you enjoyed this guide and level super fast

I played this game in cb, jp version and was pretty impressed with the game play. It had a good mixture of quests and grinding but not too much of either.

There are 6 races: Half Elf, Elf, Dark Elf, Dekan, Dhan, and Human.

Each having 2 subclasses. Pvp is really good in this game but at times becomes very voilent

Rohan card game guide

There is way to make money easier, than farming gears. But basicly, you need money to start making it.

Rohan Card game icon can be found in the right small action bar, where is also gathering hall teleportation icon and mall icon.

This action bar is below from the minimap, right up corner.

To start Rohan card game, you need least 10 000 crons. Its not hard to make if your 20-30 level. But you might wanna start whit 20 000 – 30 000 crons.

Why you need more than 10 000 crons? Because minium rase is 10 000 and if you lose it from the starts you cant try again before you get another 10 000 crons.

The game is basic one calculating cards. Cards are same as 52 cards on Texas Hold’em or eny other that kind of card games.

You start the card game by betting on Prince , Townsman and Bishop.

You cant play whit be the Prince, Townsman or Bishop. They are NPC, but you can bet on them and try quess who is going to win.

Prince = P x1

Townsman = T x8

Bishop = B x0.95

Those x1 ,x8 and x0.95 tells about how much money you will get.

Basicly you will learn the best way how much money youll get, by playing the game. Also learning better how to play it.

Im not quite sure, but the amount of money you get. Is based on how much you did bet on, excample, if you bet to Bishop 10 000 -> you get 9 500 back plus your original amount and if somebody else did bet on P or T, and nobody else betted the Bishop you will get those money? Not quite sure how it went, but something like this there is going on also.

All face cards (J, Q and K) are 10 or 0 (Im not sure about this because somebody started to argue whit me.)

A is could be 1 or 11 but my quess is 1.

So who wins? Well one that has higher number, that ablyes only for 1 number of cards,

few excamples

J + Q = 20 -> 0

A + K = 21 -> 1

5 + 4 = 9 -> 9

8 + 9 = 17 -> 7

10+ J = 20 -> 0

and so on.

The dealer will deal third card, why?

Im not quite sure about this, but it seems when the other has less than 10 numbers Prince or Bishop will get another card.

So if Prince has A + 2 and Bishop has J + Q, Prince and Bishop gets another cards.

It seems that if other has less than 10 total number in hand dealer will give him/her third card.

What are the chance of winning? Well game basicly does ably only luck, but after I analyzed the game 5 hours it seemed bit differend.

P and B winnings wont go over 50% and wouldnt go below 40%.

T didnt even went over 14% or below than 10% (sometimes might be 8%, then you should least but the 10k on there).

So if T has below than 14% there is allways chance the game goes, draw and dealer wins.

And now for the P and B.

Usually B wins, but sometimes P has winning rows aswell.

But remember that both wont be getting higher than 50% and not below than 40%.

So if Bishops has 40% there is high chance that he/she will win or if he has 50% he/she will lose.

But if the Bishop or Prince has 42% and the towns man has like 10% then the chances are equal.

In sometimes it seemed that:

P had 44% or below allways,

T had 10-14%

B had 44% or higher than that.

So you could basicly predict the who wins and when, example if the P or B has major winning row going one, soon its going to fall apart.

But remember assumption that Bishop has more wins than P, but there is chances when P has major winning row, if P has 48% then you should bet Bishop more often.

But also remember Townsman has 10% winnings it tells you that next 3-4 games somewhere he/she will win, well its draw to Prince and Bishop.

If you continue whit thies and come to understanding the card game, you will get majorly money.

Do remember if the chances of winning arent allways 100% sure.

Regarding the 3rd draw — 1st.) read the instructions — you don’t need to make your nose bleed if you don’t understand the table for Bishop for the first time. That’s ok. It’s pretty complicated. Prince’s table is easier to understand; 2.) try to observe the game without betting — so you won’t loose your money. since you know the basics of who wins or not based on the sum of the cards, you can pretty much get a feel for the game. try to observe as well the 3rd draws. 3.) reread the instructions. now you can easily find out out which factors determine 3rd draws since you already have a visual background for the game

for the % of winning, I still need to verify that during OB coz for me, the % probability are totally random

ok so i am comprising a guide for chatting. i myself when i started had major issues with learning that chat system.

to start off you need to know that before you can chat you must press enter. ok no biggie

now on to the commands and what they do:

/s[space] (text) this will enable general chat so that you can talk to people in your general area

/a[space] (text) this is all chat and will enable you to talk to everyone

/g[space] (text) this enables you to talk to your guildies

/c[space] (text) this enables you to talk to your alliance

/p[space] (text) this enables you to talk to your party

you can also access all these tabs EXCEPT for general by clicking on the tab.

now the tricky one known as whisper:

/w[space] (persons name) [space] message you want to type.

the other way to do this is to press L add the person to friends click there name and click whisper, which also requires them to accept you as a friend. making it a longer process.

the third way of doing this is to click the 1:1 chat and then put there name in the chat box and sending them a message. this pulls up another box making your space more cluttered.

overall not much detail has been put into whispers making it a hassle…

Par’talucca

Taking the throne after contending with the 2nd Human king Ferrikhan Del Lagos, Kraute Del Lagos is deposed by Ferrikhan’s wife Queen Caronia and factions and the military endorsing sovereign orthodoxy.

With an entourage of his endorsers, he leaves Human capital Einhoren and arrives on Bahran Island in the far northeast. Rev’decca

Upon being spawned from Armenes, the Dekans, widely scattered, tried to acclimate themselves to the strange environment.

Assembled under charismatic Ferdinante Don Endriago, Dekans began converging upon Armenes in preparation for self-protection. Rev’Deca is the capital they collectively built. Kai’non

Located in southeastern Rohan Continent, Kai’non was built by Half Elves conceived between Elves, who migrated from the mainland, and Humans.

Half Elves, unable to feel a sense of belonging in either group, and having failed at assimilation in the city erected by Humans, assembled in the south of the continent and formed an independent settlement. Upon settling, all Half Elves strewn throughout the continent gradually began to converge upon Kai’non, and with population steadily growing, it grew to a size comparable to that of cities of other races. Vena

Capital of the Elves, Vena is governed by a powerful wizard and Elf representative Sila Mayor Regenon.

Referred to as the city of the arts even within Elf kingdom, it is renowned for its elaborate beauty. Constructed based on an aesthetic blueprint from the inception, the city’s buildings and garden arrangement are equally exquisite.

Einhoren

The human race of Rohan Continent naturally converged around Einhoren, endowed with pleasant climate and abundant natural resources, and forged a settlement.

1: What kind of game is ROHAN?

Answer: ROHAN is a free Massive Multiplayer Online RPG that has no area restrictions, with this said it means that ANYONE is able to play.

2: What kind of internet connection is required to play ROHAN?

Answer: any internet connection is able to connect ingame, however for optimal gaming experience it is recommended to have a DSL line that has at least 2Mbit connection.

3: What are the classes one can choose of in ROHAN?

Answer: There are 6 classes in total each class has its own information forum; Human, Elf, Half Elf, Dhan, Dekan, Dark Elf

4: Is ROHAN a PVE (Player versus Environment) or a PVP (Player versus Player) oriented game?

Answer: From the feedback that is given on the forum this game is PVP based, however this is more related to the Guild and group activies then solo fighting.

5: If ROHAN is a PVP game is PK (Player Killing) possible?

Answer: Yes PKing is possible however there is a moral code amongst gamers not to engage in any PK activities unless provoked, ofcourse there are those who disregard this rule and PK for the fun of it. Show them no mercy and report them to the black (future project) list in the future.

6: Does ROHAN allow party gaming?

Answer: Yes parties are one of the things that ROHAN really encourages.

7: Are there party bonus skills?

Answer: As far as we know there are none.

Answer: No there are not restrictions in the level difference however if someone is more then 14 lvls higher then you you will recieve a penalty in experience and will only get about 1/6 of the normal amount.

9: What is the maximum amount of people that are alowed in a party?

Answer: 6 is the maximum for a party

10: How much people may a guild contain?

11: What are the requirement to create a guild?

Answer: You need to be level 30, and the fee to create a guild is 2 million cron

12: What is the use of a guild?

Answer: Guilds can participate in battles where you can gain control over parts in the World of ROHAN that allows the guild to collect taxes.

13: How do I upgrade skills?

Answer: Skills can be upgraded by the skill points you receive each level, each level you gain 1 skill point. skills can be maxed up till 5 levels with normal skill points ( exceptions exist ) after that the player can upgrade his skills to lvl 6 with a Skill stone, and the player can also upgrade to lvl 7 with a Cash shop Skill stone.

14: Is the level 7 skill permanent?

Answer: Up to this point that is uncertain, some say yes, some say that you need to use a Cash shop item to get to level 7 and then use a regular SKill stone to make it a permanent lvl 7.

15: You mentioned Cash shop, what items can we expect?

Answer: At this time we are still guessing a bit because we wont know for sure until the CS actually arives. we do however think that the following items will be in the cash shop: Exp scroll, Skill Stones, Pets.

16: what kind of bonus stats do you get when you level?

Answer: Each level you will receive 4 points, at lvl 51 you will get 6 and at Lvl 71 you get 8 Stat Points. You can distribute your status points on the following atributes: Strenght, Wisdom, Intelligence, Agility, Dexterity, Vitality.

Answer: As far as we know: no.

19: Are all starting location the same?

Answer: No there are various starting locations, as a addition to that it is said that if you cross in to a town that is not your original town you can be attacked by the guards.

Answer: Yes there are dungeons, these dungeons contain monsters and boss monsters that have better experience and better drops.

Answer: Yes you can.

23: Are there crafting skill ingame?

Answer: The players themselves do not have crafting skills, at a upgrade NPC you can submit 2 of the same category items IE: swords and combine them in to a new item.

24: Can I add extra bonus statusses on these new items?

Answer: Yes you can if you have orbs, there are 2 types of orbs, normal ones and ancient orbs where ancient orbs are worse then regulare orbs.

25: What are the benefits for participating in a Guild?

Answer: The following benefits are gained from being in a guild: Guild Skills, Guild Storage, GUild battles and a Guild ranking system that gives the teaming guild members small bonusses in Cron and EXP

Guilds also provide the opportunity to participate in guild wars, and town battles (if they meet the requirements [20 members above level 30]). Guilds have a chance to obtain skill points that they can put toward their Guild Skills, that only Guild members can use. They also have a chance to obtain Champion Armor upon the successful acquisition of a Town. The Champion Armor gives +1000 hp, +50 magic defense, +50 physical defense.

26: Do Archers need to restock their arrows?, Are the skills from Archer continues?

Answer: Elf Archer arrows are consumeable so you would need to restock once your stock reaches 0, their skill however are not continues.

27: What’s the LEAST amount of letters a player can use when creating a name for their character in Rohan?

Answer: The least amount of letters per character is 4.

28: What are the rules for the skill tree?

Answer: I tested this in the Japanese version and the following rules apply: Skills are to be unlocked when you reach X level and you need to unlock at least 1 point for the skill tree to advance to the next skill

29: How much letters are required for a name?

Answer: In the Japanese version you are required to use a minimum of 4 letters

30: How can I distinquish rare items from common items?

Answer: The following is set for ingame items:

Normal : White/standard background

Rare : green

Unique: orange

Epic (ancient) : Blue

31: Is there any kind of penalty from being killed by a mob? loss of exp?

Answer: Yes, when you die you will be penaltied with a EXP decreasment. if you die to many times, you can delevel.

32: What about when you get PKed? Do you lose exp or equipment? (What if you get killed by a Dhan in their PK exp mode?)

Answer: You lose exp also, but I don’t know if you drop anything from your inventory or not. You do not drop equipment.

33: How does the equipment upgrading system work?

Answer:you make with the regular (I would almost say common) weaps/armors rares, with rares the unique.

common + common = RARE

rare + rare = Unique

However you can’t just insert a random item, typical armor parts or weapons are required for the finaly form.

34: If we are able to play, how can players meet eachother ingame as all players start in different area’s.

Answer: If you do the tutorial zone you will get teleportation stones that allow you to teleport to a harbor, this harbor is accessable for all players including Dhan. The teleport button is located at the right side of you screen. hover over the icons to see which button does what.

35: Do Dekans and Dhans get EXP from PKing

Answer: Yes, they get EXP for killing other characters.

36: How do you get a good solid party if the world map is so big?

Answer: ROHAN has a unique partying system which is called Party Matching,this button is located also on the right of your screen it is marked a P with a red background. if you click this it will open a window and it will automaticly go to the rank that is your level, here you can register yourself and leave a message, if a party wants you they can summon you from your location, be sure to have summon rings otherwise you can not be summoned. you are allowed to invite higher or lowered level characters.

37: In this game is it Dhan and Dekan versus the rest of the races?

Answer: I do not know the background stories on these 2 races, but there are no specific things saying that the above stated question is true. however it may be said that these 2 races are more often used for player killing (PK). they do however not form any restrictions in creating a party, also these classes can enter all regions of the world withouth being assaulted by the nation guard. the other 4 races WILL be assaulted by the Dekan or Dhans nation Guards. ( I can confirm this myself thanks Nudie for summoning me directly on a guard )

38: If there is a party it looks like there is a decreasement in EXP how come this is possible?

Answer: When partying, experience gets cut by a certain %, this is done because the underlying though of this is that you level faster if you both kill. A note worthy comment is that when soloing, the M.Kill system works, in a party it does not. to my knowledge the solo M.Kill system gives you a multiplier of EXP for the mob that triggers it. if you have followed the tutorial zone you know where to look for the M.Kill amount.

39: Where can I see how much EXP I gained?

Answer: Top left of your screen indicates allmost all information relevant to your character.

on the top you will see your total EXP, when you are leveling you will notice that a grey bar is filling up, each full grey bar represents 10% of your EXP, if you manage to get 10 full bars you will level.

You will not however see any exp rates in the battle logs.

40: Can I stack the skill points that I made through levels 1 till 50 and use them after I chose my follow up subclass?

Answer: Yes you can stack skill points to use them in the next subclass of your character.

41: Can I reset my skill or stat points?

Answer: Only a Dark Elf and Dhan ( confirm? ) have a skill that alows them to reset their skill tree, however that does not allow to reset stat points from your character. There have also been speculations that there will be Cash shop items that can reset these points. upto now the rumors have been: Full Skill Reset, Full Stat Reset, Semi Stat Reset ( semi meaning 1 of the 6 atribute locations making this a total of 6 items )

**How to Un-Install ROHAN**

If you are unable to uninstall via your add/remove program menu then look to where ever you have your Rohan installed, look for this file in that folder. GoUninstUSA.exe This file will uninstall the game.

The default install folder is C:\Rohan.

If the above did not work please try this solution:

1) Google Revo Uninstaller

2) Download, install Revo (small download, free program)

3) Find Rohan USA

4) Select Uninstall from the top list

5) You may receive an error that’s fine, the error means it can’t take the program files off your computer. You can do that yourself, what you need is registry and hidden files deleted that you shouldn’t mess with on your own. Click Next until it offers to delete registry files from the program, etc.

6) Select All button

7) Delete

Confirm

9) Now Rohan is effectively off your computer though the files are still there. Go to your Programs list or wherever you installed Rohan, delete the folder.

PK Information

Players hunt to gain exp and levels for their characters. It can also be used to get different items and other equipment.

Normal:

When HP is 0 you are unable to fight\chat. Character is asked to be revived and resurged at a given point. An Elf can also revive you with their healing skills.

Lv21 or more, the value of experience, equipment, and/or items may be lost. If you PK the loss of items or equipment probability increases.

PK Penalties

Random experience loses value (from 0 to 3%)

PK more than 5 times and your name will turn red and you must wait 3 hours before your name changes back to it’s normal color.

Can reduce the amount of time to wait by visiting NPC and paying 5000 Crons, the amount of time needed to return to normal will be cut in half.

PK:

You can PK once every 3 hourst (real time).Normal PvP / PK, Ctrl + left click for a forced attack. However PK also will be even better, with more than 20 levels. PK first name purple hand side is issued. Yukari Kono state name is treated like monsters. Purple name heal until about 30 seconds before the attack has passed if returned. Continue to stay on the offensive against PK then receive a penalty. PK can return after a cretain time limit.

Interpersonal warfare, against monsters in a separate calculation of damage is calculated. PvM 70%. (The figures are adjusted join various possibilities.)

Monster Boss

Always rare, unique items drop. Characterized by it’s extraordinary strong level, for the only way to bring them down is by joining a party.

PvP System:

Every player gets to pvp when they reach level 30 and the vengeance system is a little list on the top left corner near below your HP,MP bars.

It record the name of whoever killed you, and you get ONE chance to revenge. How it work, is giving you one chance to Teleport to that person’s near by area. No matter if you succeed in killing that person or not, you can’t teleport to him anymore unless he killed you again.

But there are exceptions,

Dhan and Dekan have the ability to change to red-name, with their name showing either Dhan or Dekan and not their original character’s name. When they kill people, their name will not show up in the list of revenge. But the Good news is, if you successfully killed a red-name Dhan of Dekan, not only they have the chance of dropping equipment, you get EXP TOO!! They are basically a mob control by other people that’s all, but their level is unknown, and they move around, so watch out

-More about Dhan and Dekan

Dhans are red-name when they are created, through npc you are allow to change back, it is free before the level 30, but once you exceed the level, you burn a lot of money every time you switch either from while to red, or red to white.

Things are pretty much the same as to Dekan, but Dekan is white name when created.

If the Dhan or Dekan is red-name, they can NOT be in a party.

and Guards WILL NOT attack them.(only in the condition of transferring name through NPC, and not by killing more than 1 people.)

How do you become red-name…(by killing)

This is the way everyone can become red-name

only that you will be recorded into the revenge list.

the maximum hour you need to stay away from getting kill is TEN hour, so how it works:

You get to kill ONE person and not getting into red name, but your name become pink for a while. there will be a count down, after one hour, you are allow to kill another person without getting into red-name.

If you kill 2 people, you have to wait for 1(or 2) hour before you can become white again. but as I said before, the maximum is 10 hour, so if you killed 12 already, don’t mind to kill 10 more.

Decrease Your Item Level Requirements

For every equipment that exist in the game, there will be TWO type of requirement. The requirement are levels and stats, and you might not have those godly stat, or you are focusing on just adding your stat on agi, int or what ever, you might not have that much stat for the requirement. So go to the npc for lowering stats.

-The stat…

as the game goes on, the requirement for equipment will of course.. increase, and it will probably be like… 60 maybe.

so… when you are going to get rid of the stat requirement, you have some options,

1. decrease xxx stat by 1

2. decrease xxx stat by 2

3. decrease xxx stat by 3

4. get rid of xxx stat once and for all.

and still… it is all by chances… the one hand bandit.. the slot machine.. just like any other stuff that involve chances…

Once again, then the spinner for success or fail shows up. Hope for the best.

-The level…

Well… if you are rich enough, you might just be able to use lvl 88 godly yellow bow at the level of 1~!! so it must have something to do with the level lowing.

Same as the stat lowering, it is by chance, slot machine.. few option:

1. decrease level by 1

2. decrease level by 2

3. decrease level by 3 .. and that’s all

but one thing that is different than the stat is…

When you fail to lower the level, the requirement goes back up!! but it will not exceed the original level though.

Orbs

During the crafting, there will be 2 more slots besides for the equipment. And as you can see, the topic is about “Orbs (or something like that o_O”, it must for ORB!!

Orb is something you can get from mobs, low chances though.

what orb is, basically is just a stat boost thing you for the crafting items, there are a bunch of different orbs, with different stat of course, you can add on to your weapon, ONLY DURING WEAPON CRAFTING

For example you put in a “Rohan’s SPEAR” atk + 6~9%( yes, random again) your bow would have an extra effect of atk + what ever you get %.

Same as always, the SECOND TYPE of orbs…

the Ancient orbs!!! sounds fancy eh? yes, does it have better effect? NO! XD

it is ancient!!! is old!! it is rotted!! it add less effect… so if you get an “ancient HERA’s SPEAR” the stat would probably go from 1~5%.

You can easily identify them, because ancient orbs are yellow, and normal ones are blue.

Orange weapon only get to use ONE orb when crafting and yellow weapon get to use TWO orb when crafting.

If you got a pair of sharp eye, you would probably wondering Two slot but only one orb? so what is the other one for?

it is for an item, don’t know what it is call, that allows you to keep the equipment when the crafting fails. Yes… if you fail to combine the equipment, you lose the stuff you put up there… But I don’t think that item will save the orb though.

Mounts are what allow you to move around the game more efficiently than walking. And believe me you will start to tire quick from crawling around. Each race on rohan has its own unique mount that can be bought from a NPC but with a price.
