Unique Items/Rare Accessories

The unique accessories are dropped by boss raid mobs. There are four different mobs, one for each map. Here’s some information about them:

    Grand Balrog
    Level: 30
    Location: Juno
    Attack Type: Physical
Skills: Grand Thrust, Teleporting, Grand Meteors (Range Skill)
    Summon Monster: Blood Wolf

    Grand Red Dragon
    Level: 50
    Location: Merac
    Attack Type: Physical
Skills: Grand Thrust, Teleporting, Red Breath (Range Skill)
    Summon Monster: Cerebrii

    Grand Devilroad Kamira
    Level: 70
    Location: Dratan
    Attack Type: Magic
Skills: Grand Thrust, Teleporting, Kamira Meteors (Range Skill)
    Summon Monster: Death Goddess

    Grand Gold Dragon
    Level: 95
    Location: Egeha
    Attack Type: Physical
Skills: Grand Thrust, Teleporting, Gold Breath (Range Skill)
    Summon Monster: Cursed Weaver

Just to clarify one thing (since I’m sure you’ll wonder), the "Summon Monster" means that after you kill the boss raid mob, it spawns that type of monster.

The boss raid mobs respawn two hours after being killed. They spawn in the most active spot on the map. That means if you’re mobbing butchers up in Merac’s northwest corner, you’re likely to become the Grand Red Dragon’s priority number one. Also, if a boss raid mob is not touched (not attacked) for 14 minutes after spawning/teleporting somewhere, it will teleport to a new, more active spot.

The Grand Balrog is not activated in Juno yet. I’m not sure whether it’s because the GMs don’t want it running over all the new players, or if they don’t want us mid-30s players all hunting that mob for the unique accessories.

Here’s a list of the different unique accessories that can be dropped by these boss raid mobs:

    Crest of Rainbow
    Physical Prowness:12
    Swiftness of Reflexes:12
    Power of the Mind:12
    Physical Fortitude:6

    Chain of Tiger
    Physical Prowness:16
    Increases Close Range Physical Attack:8

    Pierce of Wind
    Swiftness of Reflexes:16
    Increases Close Range Evasion:7

    Eye of Wise Men
    Power of the Mind:16
Energy for Spells and Special Attacks:100

    Stone of Life
    Physical Fortitude:16
    Hit Points:100

    Tears of the Knight
    Physical Prowness:12
    Increases Close Range Physical Attack:16
Increases Close Range Physical Hit Rate:9

    Stone of Shadow
    Swiftness of Reflexes:12
    Increases Close Range Evasion:14
    Increases Long Range Evasion:12

    Rage of Demon
    Power of the Mind:12
    Magical Attack:18
Energy for Spells and Special Attacks:100

    Origin of Land
    Physical Fortitude:6
Increases All Types of Physical Defense:12
    Hit Points:100

    Eye of Spirits
Increases Long Range Physical Hit Rate:9
    Increases Close Range Evasion:7
    Hit Points:44
Energy for Spells and Special Attacks:44

When you kill a boss raid mob, it drops many things. Among these many things are HS, TAs, eggs/flutes, various accessories, and a unique accessory. You can pick the unique accessory up, but it will have no stats. To identify the stats, you need to buy a magnifying glass from a Scroll Trader NPC (there’s one in each town). Use the glass on the unique accessory to reveal which unique accessory it is.
