Getting your sp

Since I have found so many people in this game do no have their skills maxed, I’ve decided to write a guide to help the newer lc players (or older players making new characters).

The General Method:
Go into negative experience at lower levels and farm all your sp when it is faster and easier to kill.

Levels suggested:
16: Little Treants (not reccommended)
18: Drakes (reccommended)
26: Treants (not as good as drakes)

Why these?
These monsters mob easily allowing for less time in between kills and faster killing. I highly reccommend drakes for this over the other 2 mobs because there are more of them than little treants, and they give more skill xp than big treants.

What do you need to do this?
-At least a 31 horse mount
-Lots of time and patience
-being able to take crap from level 25+ until you outlevel them by 10+ levels two weeks after you are done.

Optimal Sp farming helpers:
-Effort scrolls and item mall skill items if avaliable
-Dragon mount for much faster killing
-event weapon with a decent plus for higher damage
-An empty drake spot
-someone to talk to so you don’t go insane (very important)

Going negative: The fun part!
This is where you can run around randol and kill anyone you want then just die it off to your benefit. Or, you can do the practical thing, and kill 1 person, then go to a non-pk server, go to the prison, pull a dire spike canine or 2 to the entrance, and die over and over and over again (the faster way).

What do I do with all this sp?
Put it in your special skills. Yes, your special skills. Once you hit certain levels, you can use the item mall special skills reset cards to pull them out and spend them without worrying about dieing. If you do not have the option to buy ap, i suggest finding a friend that does or getting a reputable ap seller (preferably reccommended by a friend).

How much sp do i need?
This amount differs for every class. I suggest using this link

When should i reset?
Good question. This varies for every class, but i would say reset only when you get skills that are very beneficial to leveling. For example, I waited until 50 on my mage and banked my 38-70 skills. I reset at 50 and got my 38 and 44 skill, which are better for pvp and sp farming. It also depends on how much ap/money you are willing to spend. On a special note, crystals of efforts are your friend. A friend of mine died while leveling and lost 500 sp and had to farm it again.

Personally, i kept all my sp up to my 32 skills on me until i level into them so i wouldn’t have to reset just for terra spear. A lot of this decision is class based.

My experience with this method:
I absolutely love it. I farmed all my sp at drakes at level 18 with a 31 dragon, 37 horse, and my 17+15 staff (don’t laugh, it was given at +12 and i had extra hs). with a small attack pot, i was 1 hitting drakes. in one happy hour, i farmed 500 sp with effort scrolls Very Happy

I hope you have good luck and some patience, as killing drakes for weeks gets a little monotonous. You will have a ton of moon stones, tool aids, ibd’s, attack pots, regen pots, and heaven stones by the time you are done.
