I guess its time to post a Dagos Celan Guide since they have every other Affinity already.
Rubric;
1) Build Pictures
2) Purpose of Build
A) PvE
B) PvP
3) Purpose of Tomes
4)Affinity
5) Gear (i don’t have alternate PvP gear so i use the same for both)
6) Accessories
A) PvE
B) PvP
7) Tip, Tricks, and Combos

To get started ill post my build; tier by tier, tome tab by tome tab.

Tomes;

2) Purpose of the build;

Tier 1; Celan builds rely on HP, SP, and Def more then AP and Shields, so maxing the passives is a must. You need every bit of hp and sp you can get.
Maxing Tone of Souls and Tone of The Fountains is common for every Affinity.

Tier 2; Not Maxing Nothingness Walk(the charge) is for the sake of saving points for later tiers. You don’t need to waste a point for a longer charge youll never use and an additional 2 sec of silence immune, you can live without it. Most Celans will make the Silence and Silence Immune Auras, you never know when you’ll need it.

Tier 3; Keep maxing the passives, Max the support blessings (Tone of Rivers and Tone of Frost) and get just enough points into the combo to get 24 points into the tier.

Tier 4; Max the entire tier besides Soundblade Dragon and Blow: Mountain’s Regret.

Tier 5; Just like every t5 for every faction, max it haha.

2a) PvE;

PvE Wise, this build could be help with cave grinding alot. Chapter of Jade is a very good lower tier AoE and with MiM and a g12 pet, you could make quite a bit before your even t5. I normally only grinded with CoJ and my esper skill in caves. BUT, if you notice your not doing enough dmg, add Blow: Twilight Orchestra into the mix.
Against bosses and CVs, your better off getting help from others. Celans aren’t ones to go solo unless you have decked out gear. In affinity lands, i grind with Petal Drops, CoJ, and my sin orb. But i don’t spam Petal, too much sp. I have Petal at 15sec intervals and CoJ at 8sec intervals with my Sin Orb on spam. I make around 1.2k a day, Not much but ok for a celan.

2b) PvP;
PvP Wise, this build only relies on a few skills, the rest is in Affinity. Theres the obvious buffs and auras we use, but we use the T5 SP drain (Blow: Journey Beginning), Soundblade Emperor, and Moon In The Mirror the most. More detail about PvP will be later on.

3) Purpose of Tomes;

Grace; Priority Tomes: Strings of Moon, Celestial Minstrel, Fairy Soprano, and Song Of Talents.
These tomes increases the effectiveness of our longest reflect and our Tier 5 healing skill (which is very beneficial in pvp).

Wind; Priority Tomes: Solemn Composition, Pale Bard, Casual Humming, and Memorable Ditty.
These tomes increases a celan’s number one method of killing and make your tier 5 aoe and sp drain more effective and pretty much spammable.

Praise; Max out the entire first and second column, priority tomes for the last column are Gloomy Nocturne and Immortal Melody.
These tomes increases all of your resistances and make the Tier 5 skill Heavenly Echoes alot more powerful (great hinder skill). Always remember to try and get your resistances up as much as you can, the stronger they are, the stronger your auras will be.

4) Affinity;

Now this can be tricky for dagos celans because most of the II skills are ones you dont need in your regular build. Soo…unfortunatly you have to reskill to keep the build i have posted but still have the affinity skills.
First things to do is max the very first dagos skill (Transcendental Aesthetic) to increase your defense, weaken res, and crit rate. (all perfect when it comes to a celan’s needs pvp and pve wise)

Dagos Celan skills to focus on while your lvling is Tone of Mediation II and Soundblade Storm II (you max out this skill quickly so you can not worry about it later on so you can reskill). You can worry about CoJ II and passives when your tier 5. Soundblade Crimson II is optional but very useful. A ten second disarm and 600 silence affect can be great for shutting a player down and/or keeping you alive. IF you plan on maxing Soundblade Crimson II, you have to max it with Soundblade Storm II while your lvling. A Dagos Celan is a tricky character but its worth while in the end.

This is what my Affinity looks like but this was excellerated quite a bit as you can tell.

Passive wise; The Way of Rights should be priority, remember, every bit of HP and SP will be needed. After that, start working on Skill accuracy and evasion and dagos protector. Forget about crit rate and bonus for the moment, thats a very long term process when it comes to PvE and PvP.
With the general skills on the left, those are just skills that can used if need be, not for regular usage. But, if your done with the passives, go for Eternal Reccurance. Say you are about to finish your second cast of MiM (if you have a ruby pagoda ofcourse ) cast Tone of Meditation II on yourself and Eternal Reccurance your opponent. Thats 60 additional skill evasion for 30 second, additoinal 40 for 45 sec. To remove the slow from Eternal Reccurance, use Tone of Rivers, your t3 blessing.

Wine of Longevity allows me to have immunity to all negative conditions for 45 sec but its optional, its ALOT of affinity to do all of this.

5) Gear

Gear wise was always different for me because i never had crazy armor like most pvpers. I’m a terrible refiner so I’ve only had 135 +8 HG gear. So you don’t always need the best gear to be effective on the battlefield.
When making your armor, keep 3 things in mind; Health, Spirit, and Defense (Physical, Crit Def, and Evasion).
I have skill evasion inbued into my gear because you always have to take the defensive when your reflect goes down.

Having high refine gear has always been a necessity for pvp. But, you can focus on a few pieces more then others when it comes to pvp. Since Health and Spirit mearsure the power of a dagos celan, focus on your helm and boots more then your wep and chest. If you can’t get everything to 8, just get the helm and feet then.
With seals, always go with Closed Star Seals as opposed to Open Star Seals..
Closed Star Seals contribute to defense as Open Star Seals contribute of offense.
Helm – Crit Shield Crit Bonus
Chest – Skill Evasion Skill Accuracy
Boots – Crit Null Crit Rate
Weapon – Defense Attack

Go for closed star seals with all your gear but your weapon. Because a pinch defense wont contribute as much as more AP for grinding.
Also, having Closed Star Seals contributes more to your SP as well…

So get every edge you can get when making your celan.The more Spirit you have, the stronger your Soundblade Emperor will become.. If you have a few Fine Orbs to use, try to get your hp and sp seals to lvl2. You may not think its much but its worth it. Try anything you can to get every bit of hp and sp you can get your hands on.

6) Accessories

PvE;

Essence: Libra
Chi: Highest regular possible but try and do some AL dailies to get betters ones
Esper: Jasper Eagle or Sin Orb
Charm: No Preference, luckily Celans don’t need charms as much as other classes.
Necklace: Eminence of Earth (4 stars)
Rings: Ring of Eloquence (2 or 3 stars)

PvP;

Essence: Libra
Chi: Highest regular possible but try and do some AL dailies to get betters ones
Esper: Sin Orb (i know its a rarity but try and fine an orb)
Charm: No Preference, luckily Celans don’t need charms as much as other classes.
Necklace: Eminence of Earth (4 stars)
Rings: Insight of Heaven (4 Stars)

Libra Essences are a good common essence for both PvE and PvP so try and shoot for those. If you have a little more cash and affinity lying around try to get a pvp scorpio essence.

The Sinister Orb esper is an amazing tool in celan tactics. Reliance on more then one sp drain is one perk but it is also an esper you can rely on staying alive in pve. It has the ability to keep someones sp down for extended amount of time also.

Luckily you have the ability to use one necklace for both PvE and PvP. Amazing Dmg reduction and great crit null.

The rings are by preference. I’m a hybrid celan so i have imbued evasion and accuracy rings. I managed to get a base of 34 accuracy and 34 evasion. Wierd how i got those to match.

7) Tips, tricks, and combos

Rule #1) Do NOT rely on reflect!

Dagos Celans don’t have the luxury of using many reflects as fuwas do. As you lvl, duel and war with everyone. But force yourself not to use reflect. You have to fight, run, and use as many other skills as possible. Think of reflect as a buff to use DURING a fight, not before. Use offense as your defense; silence, slow, stun, and sp drain your way through or out of the battlefield. Use your head; but don’t worry if you don’t get it right away, you have all the time in the world to figure out your style.

Tricks)
1) Gamble
Since Dagos and Felkin Celans don’t always have the luxury of using reflect sooooooo many times. You have to think on your feet more. But, there is one thing that all celans have in common; the fact that we can have enough buffs on already so other players can’t see our reflect on is a blessing on itself. Its why players always have to check and make sure your hittable.
I say bluff them ….make them think you have reflect up again. EVERYONE says celans are easy because you cast reflect and you can do whatever you want. So use that to your advantage…charge at them. I do this all the time, i stopped a fuwa modo from using skyseeker and a dagos modo from spamming because i rushed RIGHT at them and sp drained ppl all over the place and silenced a target before he had the chance to test a skill on me.
Players always assume a charging celan is an invincible one, they always second guess and hesitate. That on itself is a wonderful thing to cause on the battlefield. So take advantage of it.

2)Slight of Hand
Soundblade Storm II is a Dagos Celan’s most powerful skill from the dagos arsenal and is no doubt the most decieving bleed in Jade Dynasty. A 6 second bleed with two ticks of damage that take 50% of the target’s health then one big boom of 120% of your max hp. My base hp is around 43-45k. So i do 50k last ticks (60k with clan buff). I hear players say these things all the time; "I can remove it easily" "I will notice if i get hit with it". But what if you used one skill to cover up another? What if you trick a player into thinking they have a bigger problem then another? Its basically fooling the brain’s decisions and reactions.
Using your bleed then Journey beginning (or the sin orb) on your opponent. What do you think theyll notice first, a few small ticks of damage from a bleed or all their sp gone… I see it all the time, i bleed them, sp drain them, then see them potting up their sp while they are still taking small ticks of damage then…boom.

Combos)
Soundblade Crimson II can be very helpful for many instances. Offense, defense, or just to support and shut down. Because a ten second disarm and silence pretty much makes any players useless til its over. So use it with other skills to make sure your target that about to die…actually dies.

Journey Beginning + SBC II + Soundblade Emperor

SBC II + Soundblade Storm II + Journey Beginning

Or just shut them down for someone else to take them down…

SBC II + Sin Orb + Journey Beginning = Sitting Duck

SBC II + Parting Grief + Beyond the Gray Sky

Chapter Of Jade II is quite a useful pvp aoe when used correctly and with the right crowds. Since 80% of JD still uses pots, spreading around 40% less effective pots helps crowd controllers greatly. One thing not to do is use it when your alone against more then two opponents. Its a waste of time since celans have to focus on single targets and can’t handle a group of players and still try to play an aoe role.

Supportive combos

CoJ II + Journey Beginning + Heavenly Echoes

CoJ II + SBS II + Journey Beginning = Deadly support

Say a fuwa modo is batterying up and killing everything. No ones able to take him down…

SBC II + Soundblade Storm II + Journey Beginning + wait 3 seconds…+ Soundblade Emperor
Right before hes about to take a 50k last tick of a bleed, you hit him with a 90k SBE. 140k combo.
