Foreword:
As people may know, fishing is one of the best ways to make money quick, especially if you fill you account with fishing toons. In one account, you can make a total of 8 characters, so that equates to one main, and seven fishing toons, whose sole purpose are to collect bait and fish when the time comes. Now, my guide here is for people who wish to create fishing toons as quick as possible. This was the case for me, when I, who neglected to create toons, suddenly wanted to. So, in the course of 1 hour, i managed to create 7 fishing toons, 6 of which was able to receive the bait from the npc before time ran out. Without delay, lets get to the guide!
Step 1: Making and Preparing the Character
Create your toon, give it a random and funny name! No customization necessary for its looks, or click "random" if you don’t want septuplets!
After logging in, the first thing you do is talk to Tanis Ka, and receive the "Situation" and "God’s Gift" quests. After getting both, head straight to the blacksmith, finish the quest, and get the Wooden Staff as the reward. This is very important, as the longer attack range of the staff is essential to the rest of the method!! Now that you have the staff, open you inventory, equip it, and use the two buff items that Tanis Ka gave you. Ignore the rest of the quest, as the weapon is the only thing we need.
Step 2: The Journey
Now that you are buffed and ready, head to the upper left of the map towards the portal to Jadeon. If you are feeling lazy and want to use auto-route, do not auto-route directly to the Jadeon portal, as it will give you a long, round-about path. Instead, auto-route to here:

When you reach that position, manually walk to the position indicated here:

From that position, you can get a clear view of the green Jadeon portal.
Step 3: The Leveling
Now, head towards the portal, killing Wandering Wraiths and Moaning Harpies and using only Heavy Blow, which kills them in 1 shot, as you go, but don’t get sidetracked and go off to the side to get mobs. Just from the mobs from the point in image 2 to the portal, you should be able to reach level 3. When you level, add one skill point into Heavy Blow to make it level 2, and that’s all; no other skill point will be needed for any other skills.
Now, once you go through the portal, immediately head over to the position indicated here, auto-route or manually:

See these deep-red mobs, Zaaras Spellbinder and Snaggletooth Whiskers? Even with you defense buff, they still take out a third to a quarter of your hp each hit. Here is where the range of the wooden staff comes in. Now, be a good distance away, cast Heavy Blow; it should take out a bit over half their health. As soon as you cast you spell, use the WASD key "S" to move backwards until the cooldown for Heavy Blow ends. As soon as the CD ends, cast Heavy Blow again. That should finish off the mob.
See your exp? Oh boy, you’d wish all leveling was like that. Now, rinse and repeat, never moving to far off from the original point in image 3 (the spawn rate is fast enough to ensure this). Now, as long as you aren’t so damaged that you can’t take one hit without dying, there’s no need for using Recovery/Meditation: your HP/SP will be fully replenished quickly because you are leveling so quickly as well. Pretty soon, you will have a level 9 toon, which is the minimum level required for fishing! Now, head back to the portal, go to the Sunstream map, and teleport back to town for bait! Let the riches roll!
Note: this is not meant to be a leveling guide, in the sense that you wouldn’t want a character made with this guide to be your main, as it skips all the beginning quests necessary for a proper character. The focus of this guide is to get a character to level 9 in as short amount of time as possible so he/she can fish, and the player can get over the dull task of level a character to level 9 quickly.
