I’ll explain the moneymaking in several steps, going from preparations to the actual making of it. =)
Also, first saying thanks to all that inspired me to make this guide, the friendly buffers,
and ofcourse my fellow Shurans as i call you guys =P

Anyway, since you’ve been reading this you’re curious about how to make some money ingame
Without charging ZEN. Thanks for reading and ofcourse, enjoy! Hope this guide will make it
to a sticky one day *praying* ;P jk’ing as long as i’m able to help some of the newbies, i’m happee!

So! Follow the links to the different steps, since the forum wouldn’t let me display the whole thing.
(currently under progress -.-") I found out what made my message get blown to bits, appearently
the forum can’t take "E"’s with accents

Index tab:
Step 1: Grinding & Money
1.1 Pets & grinding
1.2 Skyblade & grinding
1.3 Gears & grinding
1.4 Pots & grinding
1.5 Quests & grinding

Step 2: Selling & Buying items
2.1 Selling & Trade Realm (TR)
2.2 Selling & World Chat
2.3 Selling & Events
2.4 Cash Shop & Money

Step 3: Making babies… MONEY! trough quests
3.1 Treasure Hunt
3.2 Nuras gift
3.3 (Skysong) Mystic Treasure
3.4 Totto’s Request
3.5 Mystic Tome *added*

Welcome to Step 1 of Deathy’s guide to make an ingame fortune!

As you all know, the head guide is just an indextab, it wouldn’t let me show the whole message, so 2 hours of hard work completely blown to bits (not counting the first 2 hours of the early button press) >< ah well, since i don’t have anything better to do i might as well restart
Anyway, here’s step one, considering the "grinding" part hope you enjoy!

Step 1: Grinding & Money

Grinding, most obvious way to get some cash right?
Downside of JD is: Our moneydrops aren’t exactly… high so you won’t come across nearly one player
that is grinding solely for the money.
Players in JD grind for items called Provisions if you haven’t seen them yet just kill a few mobs
and you’ll have [Jasper Ore] & other stuff like that, Hover over it to see what it’s worth.
The value of provisions go up with the map "lvl" Sunstream has Grade (or lvl) 1 provisions, Jadeons has G2
provs and so on. So, what do you use Provisions for?
Provisions are used for alot of stuff, Faction honor, Alliance Renown, Clan Contribution,…
all those things are really nice aren’t they?
I tell you one thing: Donating them for the options from above DOESN’T GIVE YOU ANY MONEY
Edit:
The only thing you should donate to get honor is do a quest called Mystic Tome
(How to do it, look @ step 3)

1.1 Pets & grinding

Pet’s in JD are wonderful things, they grow stronger, and you can even evolve them into a more
powerful shape, it’s appearance get’s cooler, it’s teeth take the size of banana’s and so on. BUT!
Pets cost money, it needs to be fed, it needs affection, & so on.
I’m making pets look bad here, but don’t you worry, you get a pet from your chest, a free one from
the special mandatory from Pet tamer Totto, free ones from the Free Lunch quest available @ lvl 45
So there is no need to buy a pet that costs a TON of money!
Stick onto your Woody Pig or Dryadling (or even the Plump Toad or Wild Wolf) until you can Afford
it!

1.2 Skyblade & grinding

If you follow this guide, This will be your FIRST investment. There’s a 1000g Skyblade
available @ the Flying Fairy NPC in sunstream (ss) buy it as soon you have the chance, you will
likely be lvl 60+ so you can start to recover the money you’ve spent by doing Treasure Hunts & other
moneymaking quests. Step 3 for the Questguide btw. Peace <3

1.3 Gears & grinding

JD adds that littlebit of extra by adding colors to the lvl of refinery.
There are a couple of types of gear, Common, Ethereal, Battleground gear and Deity gear.
No matter which gear you choose, you Have (i repeat, H(from Have)A (2nd letter from Have) V (letter number 3 from, yes, Have) E (last letter from the famous word HAVE!)) to refine it, it’s expensive, but consider it an investment like your skyblade (tip: Refining is a must for lvls 75+ and higher)

1.4 Pots & grinding

Something every hero needs, Potions!
Potions eat alot of gold, best way to get less Potion-bills are (option above but then turned out in practic)
refined gears. Yes, refine your gear, mobs will deal lesser dmg, less pots =)

1.5 Quests & grinding

Some quests (mostly starting from the time you have a skyblade) give you money.
Look up Step 3: Making babies… MONEY! through quests!

Welcome to Step 2 of Deathy’s guide to make an ingame fortune!

As you all know, the head guide is just an indextab, it wouldn’t let me show the whole message, so 2 hours of hard work completely blown to bits (not counting the first 2 hours of the early button press) >< ah well, since i don’t have anything better to do i might as well restart
Anyway, here’s step two, considering the "Items" part hope you enjoy!
(Yes i’ve copy pasted it! Hush!)

Step 2: Selling & Buying items

ZOMG! He says that items have a value!

Well ehh.. up to the main topic ‘>.> good, items.
I’ll explain the ways of selling & buying items through some steps so bear with me =)
The forum hates me, but i’m not conceding defeat yet!
Link towards the subguides =)

2.1 Selling & Trade Realm (TR)

Good, Trade Realm, basically The place to sell & buy stuff, if you look for a specific item, 80% chance
that you will hit the jackpot here. My advise for selling stuff on TR: part edited due to the replies, be happy guys ^^
go to the folder on your computer where JD is installed, then select "element" folder and double click on elementclient.exe to bring up a 2nd client, Do not activate more then 2 clients @ the same time!
Do remember that
multiclienting will be considered Illegal if the second client is running a char that gains experience!
Second option is just to get an old pc and get JD installed there too =)

install JD on it, create "and i quote from the Born2Bot Podcast #2" a lvl 1 packed mule with all your stuff on, go to TR with it,
set up shop while you go do some more important stuff on your main account
(Making even MORE money for instance!)

2.2 Selling & World Chat

Often you see players shout over World Chat to promote their items, thinking they gain huge enormous profits with it, such things only count for mounts, gears, pets & celebeans, the rest is TR related stuff
My advise: don’t spend your hard earned gold on Telegems (like i do) if you can’t afford, be patient and
put your items in a shop

2.3 Selling & Events

This is a small cash gain & pretty easy, not that much of cash, but hey, every bit helps.
Set up a shop on special events, Crisis is the best aim, everybody needs talis and almost
nobody carries them with them. Put a price and off you go. Haul in the money! >:3

2.4 Cash Shop & Money

Don’t buy fashion and other clothes from the Cash Shop just because they sparkle and make you look cool, do that when you can actually AFFORD it!

Welcome to Step 3 of Deathy’s Guide to make an ingame fortune!

Throw a party, Deathy’s almost done spamming!

This is probably the part you’ve all been looking for, here’s your answer on the million gold question:
How do i make ALOT of money ingame without charging zen?
I’ll discuss 4 quests that will grant you lots of money over a long as well a short period of time.
Bear with me

Step 3: Making babies… MONEY! trough quests

*Drumroll* Yes! Here’s how to make money in Jade Dynasty and it’s a legal way! (not hacking, cracking
use of glitches/bugs, taking Dvorak & Obahs families as hostages and so on.)

Come with me & learn how to make some cash so you CAN afford such fashions as mine, pets
like the Cloud tiger & the Scorpus Ravager & yes even Jessie!

3.1 Treasure Hunt

Requirements:
- Lvl 60+
- Skyblade
- 30 OPEN bagspaces (Yes, those that AREN’T containing stuff)
- A party (optional, but if you solo them remember: YOU WILL CONSUME A BINLOAD OF POTS!

Here’s what to do:

Hop on your skyblade, go to the Sky dweller and take his Treasure Hunt quest
Then, go with your party & kill 10 Celestial Vanguards corresponding to your map
Once done, go to the Sky dweller again and receive 20 Taichi Precia + 30 parts of a puzzle
NPC the pieces of the puzzle, retake & do the same from above, Max. 3 rounds

Yes, this is the big quest i was talking you about, and it will give bigger rewards once you’re a higher
lvl, don’t start complaining because you get 8g per run when you’re in Doom Bog cause it’s nothing
more then natural =) lvl up and you’ll have 30g per run in notime

3.2 Nuras Gift

Requirements:
- lvl 60+
- 1 OPEN bagspace (yeahhhh….)
- A party (same condition as for Treasure Hunt)

Good, it’s practically the same as Treasure Hunt but you get a [Eera Herb](more info over these things in 3.4)
or a [Dragonfang Herb] (Dragonfangs are the reward starting from lvl 105+) which you
can sell for 20g~ or use to train your pet.

3.3 (Skysong) Mystic Treasure Chest

Requirements:
- A lvl 30-45 alt (Yes, an alt don’t do it with your main or your bag will be stuffed in notime)
- A party (optional again, no potions required, it’s skysong, skysong holds no horrible 1-shot mobs)
- Atleast 1g

Here’s what to do

Pay 10s to Metaphysician Ami in order to get the quest, kill the mobs and go back.
Yani will give you [Mystic Treasure Charm II].
Get his quest again & repeat the steps until you run out of money or just die from boredom.
(Hey, i never said this would be easy did i?)

Once your bag is crammed with [Mystic Treasure Charm II] start to right click them & fetch
the items that the chest contains.

Here’s the page with all the locations of every (yes, say with me: E-V-E-R-Y)
chest, some are visually displayed, the others are given the coordinates =)
Thanks to pixelynx, you find the maps HERE
(yes click the "HERE" word)

Edit: Iceknave mentioned a little tip that i forgot, thx for reminding

You can open as many charms until you have the quest for each of the chests in skysong,
travel between them to get your rewards (alot) faster
*thumbs up*

3.4 Totto’s Request

Yes i forgot the name, could be it isn’t the right one, i’m sorry =(

Requirements:
- A pet (any grade)
- A skyblade

I know for a fact ppl are going to start asking me: "Why is this such a money maker? you only get
non tradeable [Eera Herb], well here’s my answer: read this good & tell me afterwards who
will make the most profit out of it, The follower of this guide who does this quest all the time (lol
obviously!) or you, who never did it in your entire career.

So here’s what to do:
(no i’m not gonna give a full description, they will point themselves out, just READ your description CAREFULLY)

Complete Totto’s 3 quests and you will receive 5 [Eera Herb] once again, do them until you die of
boredom. Once you have around 50 of them (so jeah 10 times running between doom bog & ss) start to
buy [Red Mushroom] they cost 10G each and you need 4 of them for 7 herbs. Once you’ve got 7
[Eera Herb] & 4 [Red Mushroom] (so that makes a total of 40g) Trade them in for a new item
called [Kylin Orb].

Here, simple math =)

7 x[Eera Herb] + 4 x[Red Mushroom] = 1 x[Kylin Orb] <- Get that?

In money-terms:

7 x (nothing, hard work sweat maybe) + 4 x(10G) = 40g for you to make it

Now, put those Kylin orbs in your shopping alt, you can sell them for 60-65g

OH MAY GAWD HE MADE 20-25G PROFIT

*thumbs up!*

3.5 Mystic Tome

Requirements:
- lvl 45+

And here’s your description:
Go to the Eldest Matchmaker (jeah that funny guy in ss who marries you).
Kill the hornets. (99 of them, small note for close combat classes: Get a
Wooden Stick to shoot them all from a distance, it’s faster, i have a +6 xD)
Solve the riddle.
HERE you can find the link to solve them.

Ok, you can ask: "What do i do with those Merits i receive?"
Answer: Donate them to the faction agent!
Not only will it give you exclusive armor/weaponry but also
a chance to get in the The Hall of Excellence

Each player in the hall will receive a weekly [Honor Gem]
stack up on them, sell them for around 15-20g

Ok, start the party, i’m finished & hope i could help u guys with some of my knowledge =)
