Cloudstorm Challenge Guide

• Introduction:

In an effort to document and make information more accessible for our wonderful JD players, we decided to put together a guide on a deadly, but extremely rewarding dungeon. Everyone has heard and seen NPCs and the PvP system dealing with Fort Cloudstorm, but how many of you have actually gone in the PvE dungeon version?
Fight through deadly, heavenly enemies for a chance to obtain level 120/135 Deity gear, tons of provisions, and a chance to obtain extremely powerful, unique recipes (4 star ring upgrades, anyone?)! All of this is available to unascended players?? Wow!

• Beginning the Challenge:

There are regular pink-colored game broadcasts that mention a "Cloudstorm Herald" on a specific realm. After seeing this broadcast, quickly switch to the realm mentioned in the broadcast and travel to (109, 64) in Sunstream City to talk to the Cloudstorm Herald.

• Requirements:

The party leader of a group of six level 90+ players can speak to the Cloudstorm Herald to allow the group entry into the dungeon. The Cloudstorm Herald will disappear as soon as the dungeon entry opens on a different realm, so hurry up!

The party leader will need to pay 100 gold to sign up the group. Once this has been done, each party member must speak to the Coordinator of Stars nearby and complete the quest he offers in order to teleport to the Fort Cloudstorm dungeon.

Be careful, as the monsters there will easily overpower any party that barely meets the requirements.

-The recommended party will consist of high-level (130+) characters.-

You’ve gotten this far, now what’s next?

• Once Inside:

Vim, Lupin, Jadeon, Skysong, and Modo characters can speak to the surrounding NPCs to obtain faction-specific quests. Each faction’s quest will require you to defeat a different faction-specific boss, such as Madame Chimes or Mr. Gho. Completing these quests will reward you with temporary weapons, each of which has a special skill that you can only use if you are equipping it.

You’ll automatically have quests to kill any amount of each monster in the zone. The more you kill, the larger the EXP reward you’ll receive. These quests can be turned into either the Special Ops Agent (215,161) or the Battleground Vendor (188,140) depending on quest in Sunstream City.

You will have two hours to fight your way to the Regenesis Sword, which is found behind the gates of the fort in the southern part of this zone.

• Some Possible Rewards:

Some of the faction-specific bosses have been known to drop
Dragon Muscles, Level 120/135 Deity Gear, and unique recipes (4 star ring upgrades have been found)! Various monsters throughout the challenge drop high-level provisions and Affinity Beads!
