Well, I know many people just as I did till about 3 days ago have wondered about Fishing Mastery event and have found no guides to explain it, so I’m gonna try my best to do it.

Time

18:00-19:00 Game Time
Realms 1-5

Requirements

1) Lvl 45+
2) Fishing Certificate

Location

Laguna Ferry at the Billows (Near Guardian of Flame or whatever it’s called)

Process

At the mentioned time go to the Roaming Fisherman in Sunstream City Lotus Pond to exchange 1 Fishing Certificate for 10 Dragoncave Essence (will explain in a bit).

To acquire fishing certificates you can either buy from players or go visit Ami (NPC beside Roaming Fisherman in Sunstream City) at the following hours:

0:00-1:00
8:00-9:00
12:00-13:00
15:00-16:00
18:00-19:00
21:00-22:00

At this hours Ami will give you bait to fish in different locations including Lotus Pond and others the place is defined in the bait he gives you. Head to the place where the bait tells you and use the fishing rod (lvl 45 is not required for this, only for the Event) if you are lucky you can get the Fishing Certificate.

As I said, Roaming Fisherman will give you 10 Dragoncave Essence for the certificates so now time to head to The Billows.

When you are at the place, right click on the essence and you will be allowed to use the fishing rods and this is why it’s called Fishing competition:

There are a very small amount of fishing rods which disappear after someone uses them and spawn back like 20-30 seconds after so you need to pay close attention to when it spawns and be the first to click it since MANY people will be trying to do the same (Should be called Click the rod first competition).

Success! You now know how to do the Fishing Mastery event!! You can get numerous items for fishing depending on your luck  

Warning…you will be frustrated an annoyed if you are not able to click the rods.
