So, I've been pking ronelia pts with my priest, because that's entertaining as hell and easier than using dhan and waaaay more fun than using temp. Most pts I just debuff the heck out of the mage and he dies, rest of the pt goes down easy with some roots so they can't run off from the mobs.
Earlier today I tried to pk a pt in ronelia, I debuff the pt's lock but that sucker won't die even tho he has mob aggro D: I did eventually kill the pt but it took a while. I asked that lock later what his staff was and he tells me it's just for pve, a AD staff o_o
I'm lvl 70 str ds on div, no IM. I went to rone with a wiz and a priest. Mobs hitted me for 50's+300's, crit's about 0 + 5xx's. That's when using DD weapon.
I then equiped a lowbie zhen with 20% AD and suddenly the dmg dropped to 40's+80's. Don't have to tell that makes a huge difference. Especially at lvl 70 considering i'm AND full str AND IM less AND above all, I'm only wearing 3 edwin 6xpd parts (rest is 3x pd Ka'el).
AD + min.dd on armor = very low dmg. If only I lvl'd blue defense, but guess that'd be kind of redundant. All I need is a few more lvls, a tiny bit extra pd (about 500) and I can probably solo.
For pvE, i really like AD - no matter the opinion of others. For pvp however..it's only fun when your pd is high enough to let them hit min.dd, but once they can bypass it (which is fairly easy i guess for anything that is equiped decently).. you're but mere fish bait.
I said this 8+ months ago for pulling crossbows for rangers and everyone raged at me saying DD was better just because they said so because they said they knew more than I did about the game because I'm not 99.
No HH, we always recognized you are a nub who likes to think he knows everything about the game and pvp and..... Doesn't. Now run along and quit trying to make this into some thread proving your worth.

I just said it's frustrating how I recognized this so long ago and took so much shit for it.
The issue is that when people raged at me for saying AD is better for PvE, they said the same thing about me. Now look who was right the entire time. It just proves the fact that people don't take me seriously, and when they get proven wrong later on by my initial thoughts, they treat it as some sort of phenomenal discovery. Hence the frustration and why I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable about the game, considering this kind of thing has happened on multiple occasions.
I still don't see why you strictly advocate that I know nothing considering in the same thread I'm agreeing with you over the same topic. I never said you disagreed with me 8+ months ago, either. I was just pointing out my frustration in that yet again, people don't seem to take me seriously, even when I can be clearly right.
AD is pro, if you know how to use it . Although, on other hand, tanking ron without buffs isn't all THAT hard . (I have done the very same thing on vestige, for example, had 2 priests on me raging why I don't die)
