This isn't a big problem just yet, but I've noticed in the instance runs I have done so far, my parties do not know how to react with each other correctly. What I mean by this is, we will enter an instance, and once everyone has buffed up, instead of following the tank and waiting for his pulls. Everyone will run around attacking whatever. The problem here is that I have to run back and forth trying to keep everyone alive. Luckily I have been playing mmo's for quite some time now and priest/cleric is what I'm good at. I carry a sufficient amount of mp potions (80-90 for each run) and no one ever dies, but I'm getting stressed out having to run from one side to another just to keep everyone healed. When I tell my party members to get together and stop pulling mobs on their own, they don't listen. Only once have I let someone die because they didn't listen, but I'm too kind to let trigger happy morons die. Seriously though, it's really bugging me. Is this because I'm joining parties through the auto-group function?(T) If so, I'll stop doing that lol.
PS : Not all my parties are frustrating, just most. Thank you for the parties that I have joined that know how to communicate with each other and be patient, I really appreciated it.
Pugging (t) groups suck. Seriously. When you get to the higher levels you'll see just how bad they suck. I'm past the point of caring if someone that puts the entire group at jeopardy dies. I avoid pugging at all costs. Things like tomb of glory, nightmare carnival, glistening lowlands, creekbank I will pug, but any dungeon after fort rotulor no way will I pug unless I absolutely have no other option.
One reason being they constantly don't give you the right class combos to do these instances, the second being you never know who you will get in your group and one Leroy Jenkins can get a whole party wiped fast and I don't feel the need to waste pots/stress over it.
I found it amusing how after I made this post, I applied for the dungeon that was available at 20 since I had just leveled up, and the party was bad lol. We had a tank, me as healer, and a few casters which was a nice setup in my opinion, but it went bad because we were all waiting on the tank and his excuse was : "I'm too far, just gonna go." I was so infuriated. Why should he bother pugging if he won't even make the effort to come to his party. But yeah lol. I guess I'll just quit pugging, thank you for the reply.
