basically there are two main builds: STA and full INT (self explanitory)
STA builds can range from:
STR: 15
STA: 30 (can go as high as 50 to survive high level agros or even more for clockworks)
DEX: 15
INT: xxx
INT build:
STR :15
STA: 15
DEX: 15
INT: xxx
your main focus on your skills will be:
maxing heal asap.
maxing haste
maxing heap up or beef up (same priority)
once you have these your set, now level your other ones : )
i suggest cannon, accuracy and cats as being your next focus.
maxing out mental when and where is up to you, it only benefits yourself.
full int builds are made for maximum potential buffs.
the level of the buff + the amount of INT you have determines how long it will last.
the level of the buff will determine how effective it is. example (max heap up gives you 40 STA points)
Bill posters will usually have most of their buffs maxed but they only last around 6-7 minutes as they have 15 INT.
also, different buffs will last different amounts of time.
Quickstep, mental sign and haste last the longest.
ringmaster buffs such as spiritune fortune last only a minute at skill level 5 and 189 INT. SF is designed not to last long : )
allways ask you Bill poster or battle assist partner which buffs they have maxed.
their buff will be more effective and if you rebuff it once they’ve casted it, you will enable it to last longer.
edit~ v9 introduced us a new buffing system. any buff can be cancelled /buffed over if it is a higher level or the same. which kind of takes away our "having higher INT to let BP’s buffs last longer"
remember to buff yourself with mental sign for extra MP and extra INT points,
then also have Quick step to keep up with your partner. my Full INT ringmaster has
heap up, protect, and prevention aswell to help survive agros (red named mobs)
heap up~ adds STA (and FP as result)
beef up~ increases STR
mental sign~ increases INT (and MP as result)
haste~ increases attack speed
(these are the first main buffs you should focus on maxing, especially haste, mental last though)
quick step~ increases your moving speed
cats reflex~ increase dodge/block rate (good for blades)
cannon ball~ increases DEX (attack speed as result) (good for blades)
accuracy~ well, uh duh >.> (good for blades)
ressurection~ you can guess that one too (not really a skill to max out,)
circle healing~ just one of those lookatwhaticando skills, usefull in low levels though for when you have parties at whole mobs. it heals party members whithin a specified AOE (area of effect)
prevention~ dosen’t always work, a self buff that can give you HP if your HP comes to a deadly low. (having this skill is entirely up to you)
stonehand~ a self buff that only bill poster /battle assists use. maxed by them as it sometimes kicks in and stuns a mob. good for pvp too.
ringmaster buffs:
lvl 60 skill: holy cross: casted on mobs to enable your parnter twice their normal damage. lasts 4 seconds. once hit with holy cross, the effect dissapears until it is recasted.
grinding sessions may involve you holy crossing mobs instead of healing if your partner is able to heal themselves efficently. (max level at 1)
lvl 60 skill: gvur tialla: cures all types of negative effects on the target, like stun, bleeding or poison ect. (you need a bless poster to use this) (max level at 3)
lvl 60 skill: protection : adds to defense +50 def at max level (max level at 10)
good for AOE partners.
lvl 65 skill: holy guard: reduces damage from long ranged magic attacks. im guessing this is good for pvp. (max level at 10)
lvl 65 skill: spiritune fortune : adds to attack, dosen’t last long at all. poster needed for this skill too. a skill to max out A.S.A.P (max level at 10)
lvl 70 skill: heal rain: like circle healing, only heals wayyyy more, looks spiffy too. it has a smaller AOE than circle healing though. good for AOE partners. (max at level 10)
lvl 75 skill: Geburah Tiphreth~
adds to attack and speed. dosen’t last long either. requires bless poster.
main RM skill to max out. very important, let me tell you >.>;
requires holy guard lvl 4,
spirit fortune lvl 7 (max level at 10)
lvl 80 skill: Merkaba Hanzelrusha~ an AOE skill which causes enemies in the area to suffer contiuing damage. INT based.
has a quick cool down.
i somtimes use on mobs if they are far away from others.. if mobs are caught in it you will be attacked.
in pvp i have seen this used in conjunction with holy cross by a level 90 ringmaster.
he beat up that level 90 blade good ~.^ (max at level 10)
any corrections can and will be apreciated. maybe some higher levelled ringmasters can shed more light on the last two skills ._.
