Introduction
Plug farming is a common method of money-making suggested by players. However, many fail to explain the proper ways to do it and so most players skip the advice. The purpose of this guide is to explain the set up of your character and how to best dig out these piles of gold.
Build
Recommended Build for those without an outside Ringmaster (Lv50)
Str: 68
Sta: 15
Dex: 60
With a base Dex of 60, Pang’s Cannon Ball will give you the 67 Dex speed break and put your base attack speed to 67%. Using the 20% attack speed from Panggril set, 12% from Pang’s Haste, and 5% from the Sword of Silver Sword, we get 93% attack speed which is sufficient for fighting.
Recommended Build for those with an outside Ringmaster(Lv50)
Str: 111
Sta: 15
Dex: 17
The bonuses from the better buffs you have make the Dex requirement lower. The 17 base Dex combined with Cannon Ball will push you to the 37 Dex Sword speed break which is just enough for you to reach 100% attack speed with Haste, Panggril, and Sword of Silver Sword.
The builds mentioned in this section are for characters made specifically for plug farming. Any build can be used to farm. 1v1 builds will obviously be favorable when it really comes down to it.
Equipment
To avoid the confusion of naming multiple sets, I will only name the male version of the armor. The female counterpart can be found using the FlyFF Wiki.
Recommended Equipment for those without an outside Ringmaster
Weapon: Sword of Silver Sword+3/+3 Earth
Armour: Panggril Set+0/+3 Earth or a combination of awakened armor pieces that can out perform this set.
Shield: Anything with 7% attack speed, 16 Strength, or 65 Attack. Critical Chance and Dexterity do help, but they don’t give as much of a boost in comparison.
Jewels: Vigor Ring+9 (x2) Demol Earring+12 (x2) Gore Necklace+3 (x1)
Anything over 7% attack speed will not help. If you can get any more Str or Atk than these recommendations, use them. They will help you kill faster. If you happen to have awakenings that make a Masquerpet Cutter or some other awakened weapon better, use it. You can also reduce Lv60 weapons, bear that in mind.

Farming the Target
The monster we will be fighting are Rockepellers located here:

It’s aerial combat so you can’t use any skills. This also means you have to come down to buff yourself.
Use the Tab key to target. You can target a mob once it’s in a red box.
Use the Z key to follow. You have to have a target to follow.
Use the Insert key to attack. It must be pressed down to continue attacking.
Use the Enter key to set auto attack. While pressing down on Insert, hit Enter, then let Insert go, then hit Enter again.
Special Tips
- Keep moving. If you stop your board and the monster recovers from position glitch, you’ll have to wait for it to come to you. This is no problem if you were moving.
- Move all inventory items to the bottom. This lets you sort your stuff out faster when you and up with lots of C/D/2%/3% cards.
- Carry lots of Blinkwing of Flaris. The nearest food source is Flaris. Best to buy your food from there or Arena since they are the closest areas.
- For those with RMs, keep them on the big island. As of v13, there was been a new island positioned perfectly for us plug farmers.
- For those with any second computer, buy a Lv40+ party. Using just Gift Box will double your chance of getting a Plug Earring+9. With 400 points, using just Gift Box lasts about 5~6 hours.
- Faster vehicles help. If you want to farm more Plug Earrings, investing in a Meteo Bike or a Cloud isn’t such a bad idea. You can make it up in about 15~20 Plugs or think it as a personal investment.
- The Giant Rockepeller will happily delevel you if you level too far. If you were killed by a Mothbee flying above Flaris, you land and respawn in town. But because Rockepellers fly over a location where you can’t land, you respawn right where you died so the giant will basically spawn kill you to whenever you want to stop.
- Finishing the Blade job change and deleveling can help a lot. Upon changing to Blade, you get a 5% attack speed boost and a small attack, defense, and HP boost as well. You also have the additional stat points for reaching Lv60 and the ability to use a neat Dretra Sword. You can use the Dretra Sword for as long as you dont take it off.
