Elementor Trick #1 Windfield Hit and Run
Developed by: Unknown, Common trick, used way even before MY time.
Tested by LtChidori and almost every other Ele out there.

Things needed: Skills needed:
A Staff Windfield
By using Windfield on your mobs, they have around a 30% chance of losing 50% movement speed for a few minutes. To do this trick, Elementors must put the windfield status effect on their mobs, avoid getting hit too much while you gather them. When they have all been windfielded, run around so your mobs start gathering up while they chase you, then attack them with windfield, and run back when they get close. Repeat that process until they die. Using this method elementors CAN make it so they dont get hit at all but this is pretty impractical because it consumes too much time to make sure EVERY one of them is windfielded.
Elementor Trick #1.1
Developed and tested by LtChidori

Things Needed: Skills Needed: Tricks Learned:
A staff Windfield Windfield Hit&Run trick
A Def Pierced Suit
An AtK Pierced Suit
This is the Windfield Hit&Run trick that I developed myself. It uses the windfield tactics so that is why its named Trick #1.1.
This trick requires you to be un-lazy, so de-lazify yourself now if you want to try it.
First do the Windfield Hit and Run Trick while equiping the Def Pierced Suit, you can run through the mobs fairly fast because you take less damage, and dont even bother worrying if they are slowed or not. Then when you have gathered all you need, start windfielding them until 0-2 mobs are left un-slowed. Once you feel safe, back up, and switch to your attack pierced suit, and do the last part of the Windfield Hit & Run trick, Hiting and running ^^.
This trick requires a few resources, but for Int-Based Elementors, the difference in leveling time is huge, and they still get to keep that awesome damage they went 1v1 for. For me, the def pierced suit reduces damage by 300 , and then when I equip the attack pierced suit, my damage goes up 1.3-1.4k more . So now im doing the same damage as 1v1 eles, except on 10 mobs..
Yay! I got to claim a trick for myself.
Elementor Trick #1.2
Developed and tested by LtChidori

Things Needed: Skills Needed: Tricks Learned:
Wind Elemented Staff Windfield Windfield Hit&Run trick
Opposing Element of Level 65 Ele AoE
the mobs you’re killing Skill of opposing
Staff Element
Do trick 1.1 Except you gather mobs with your Wind-Elemented Staff, then start aoeing with the staff and skill of opposing element. Nice if you keep the two staffs in the F-Keys
Im sure people might have done this one before, but can I have this trick?

Elementor Trick #1-2
Developed and tested by LtChidori

This Pic Is Of me aoeing 4 glaphans at level 90, I cant really show myself doing tricks 1.0-1.2 in a Screen Shot without having you stare at three of the same pics in a row, so I just put this is as a place holder.
Things Needed: Skills Required: Tricks Learned:
Everything From Everything From Trick 1.0; Trick 1.1;
Tricks 1.0-1.2 Tricks 1.0-1.2 Trick 1.2;
Combine Tricks 1.1 and 1.3 Into your windfield Hit and Run Tactics. After awhile you start learning how to do it without even thinking, so it won’t feel so tedious and troublesome. Most of you probably figured that you could put these two together, but
some people are concentrating too hard to notice that these things go together. This should be a good call for them.
1v1 Tactics
*Reminder, Ringmasters can HolyCross your 1v1 attacks to double damage, getting one as your partner will help your 1v1 tactics greatly.

Elementor Trick #1.4: Rooting/Windfield Combo
Developed and tested by WindAero
Items needed: Skills needed: Tricks needed:
any staff Windfield and Level 20 Rooting Trick #1 (Windfield)
Recommended: damage-increasing equipment and casting-time reduction equipment if possible
This tactic is used to aid in slowing your target(s) with Windfield. It can be used to set up both 1v1 and AOE attacks.
Keep your Rooting skill on a hotkey and place 3 Windfields into your action slot. Target a monster and try to Root it. This might take a few tries since maxed Rooting has a 65% success rate. Once successful, the Rooting will last only for 6 seconds, so as soon as you notice that Rooting succeeded, hit "c" to use your action sloted Windfields. If you time it well, you should be able to get all three Windfields off before Rooting wears off (this is where the casting-time reduction helps, though it’s not necessary).
If your target has the Windfield slowing effect, you can use any of the tactics described in this guide to finish it off. If not, you can run for a bit, try to Root it again, and then repeat this process.
Elementor Trick #1.5: 1v1ing with WindfieldDeveloped and tested by WindAero

Items needed: Skills needed: Tricks needed:
any staff Windfield and Trick #1 (Windfield)
the level 60 skills,
maxed if possible
*LtChidori’s Note* You can also do the attacking part with aoes, theres more damage output, but it may get a little messy if another mob gets in it.
Recommended: damage-increasing equipment, a staff elemented with the same element of the 1v1 attack you’ll be using, and Trick #1.3 (Rooting)
This tactic is used whenever you might be forced to attack 1v1, such as in a very crowded area, when you want to fight something many levels higher than yourself, or if you can’t AOE well without an RM.
Start off by giving your target the Windfield slowing effect. Then hit-and-run with your strongest 1v1 attack, the one which the target is weak against. If you use a correctly elemented staff, your 1v1s will hit for more damage than your Windfield
Wheeeeeeee! You’re done with Unit 1 of the Elementor Tricks/Tactics
UNIT 2
Electric Shock Tactics(sorry, I wanted to post a trick but it seems a tad illegal)
Tactic 2.1; Standard Electric Shock AoE-ing

Things Needed: Skills Needed: Tricks/Tactics Learned:
A Staff Electric Shock None
Gather mobs with ice missle or some other skill, let them gather around you, then aoe them, simple.
Tactic 2.2; Windfield Electric Shock AoE-ing

Things Needed: Skills Needed: Tricks/Tactics Learned:
A Staff Electric Shock Trick 1.2 (Staff Switching)
(Electric ele optional) Wind Field
Optional:
Wind Elemented Staff
Gather Mobs with Windfield, then start aoeing them with electric shock, this tactic is pretty helpful for High Int Elementors, because if your hp starts getting low, you can run back while your food/pills cooldown, or to have your healer heal you.
Tactic 2.3; Chain AoE-Ing

Its nearly Impossible to screen shot the difference between Chain AoEs and normals, so ill explain in detail on how it works.
Things Needed: Skills Needed: Tricks/Tactics Learned:
A Staff Electric Shock None
2x Electric Shock
In Action slot ONLY
Highy. HIGHLY reccomended: Your assist partner needs to have Quickstep.
*Tactic is HIGHLY recommended for FULL INT/HIGH INT eles with lacking def equipment
To do this, you run to one mob, and one only, and press C when you are close to them, this will make you cast twice. Then run after another mob, and Press C next to them when the last one catches up to you. You repeat this process forever, it is nice if you have a healer afk spamming heal, because they won’t get a break ^^.
After awhile, U’ll notice that everytime you run to a new mob and Press C, one of the ones trailing you will die. Think of yourself as a 1v1 build, you run up to one mob, and kill one in just two casts of electric shock, thats what’s basicly what’s happening.
If you are a high Int ele, the chain will only have about 4-5 monsters trailing you at a time. The great this about this style of aoeing is that you are hit very un often, because you only cast twice, and then run to your new mobs, while the ones trailing you barely manage to make it in time to get hit by electric shock again. By then you’re already running to even another mob. It keeps going. You’ll be a blade who kills their mobs in 2 hits each ^^, except blades don’t really have afk healers on their backs xD.
Quick step is almost neccesary for this to work right. And for the best results, have your healer put 2-3 Heals in their action slot, and have them use it after everytimg you get to a new mob, because thats where you will be getting hit.
Ele Support
To Kill CW: Bring an Electric Elemented staff
Use Ice Missle Often (Hope It will be brought back soon)
Use Electric Shock to Damage it (I know you guys all like windfield but, Everyone else is happier if you lower its def instead of lagging everyone to death)
If you have 5-7k Hp with buffs, use an hp pierced suit
If you can afford it, use an attack pierced suit if you have above 7-8k hp with buffs.
Ele Leveling Support
Electric Shock Skill: Decreases a mob’s def against any phsyical attack.
To level with a 1v1 BP: Sadly, The Electric Shock skill is probably they only thing that can help them.
To level with a blade: Use strongwind to blow the enemies back if they get critted, it helps the blade kill just a little faster, they will definitely prefer assists tho.
Another Trick to use for ALL melee classes: Those level 30 spells that make elements do more damage, I haven’t tried it yet, but I think they may make Elemented weapons do more damage too. I need someone to confirm this, because im level 90, and finding a level 100+ person to try it out is almost impossible, they’re RM addicted.
To level with a 1v1 Ranger: Looting/Windfield/Electric Shock/Strongwind when they get close.
To level with a yoyo jester: Looting/Windfield/Electric Shock/No strongwind please.
To level with a BowJester: Electric Shock/Looting, Windfield and StrongWind makes them have to run for miles so, don’t do it unelss they ask you to.
To level with an elementor:Windfield all the mobs that the higher lved elementor gathers. Helps slow them, also helpful with avalanche/blizzard.
Non-Rm/BP Support Tactics
Psywall Psykeepers: Gather a large amount of mobs quickly and once they are grouped, have your psykeeper Spam psywall in front of their path. This allows you to aoe alot of mobs at a time without having to run alot, and avoid getting hit.
Psywalls can also be used for 1v1 as used by WindAero
These next tactics, developed by WindAero, are reccomended for the High Int Elementor.
Satanology Psykeepers: Satan your mobs alone or in masses while the elementor aoes or 1v1s them from afar.
Support Blades: Sneaker your mobs while you aoe them, mush like a Satanology Psykeeper
Support Elementors: After you get the first hit on mobs, while you gather others, your elementor supporter (usually has to be around 19 levels below you) casts windfield on the mobs chasing you, so when you finally gathered all your mobs, 99.99% of the time you won’t have an Unslowed mob chasing you. If you’re pretty high lved, your supporter probably has earthquake to help you you stun a bit as well.
Pvp Section
Seems I’m running out of ideas, I’m not allowed to abuse or spread slightly buggish stuff so theres not too much to say now, I’ll post some helpful tactics on gathering mobs in another few days.
Pvp Trick 1 Looting Abuse
Still Untested by me. No Screenies yet
I was told that Looting Chances have increased for pvp, and mastered, it was 65% for pvm.
Put Looting Spells in your action slot, and get ready for the duel :p
Run/Blinkpool back, and spam your looting spells. If it works sucessfully, Hurray! you got one victom all to yourself. If it doesn’t work, well you were going to die any wayz, thats why you tried this tactic in the first place.
UPDATE
Placement Glitch
Recently, and by recently, I date Jan 2008, I have heard many complaints about this "placement glitch" that people described as, "when monsters teleport to you" I’d like to tell you a possible cause, and a possible solution and a proper name for this "glitch"
Its.. not a glitch, this thing has been happening since the beggining of flyff, to prevent people from aoeing on top of unreachable areas for monsters *cough* mushrooms *cough*. This was fixed in some later version when they made it easier for monsters to climb heights. But still, if you leave them in one place too long, they will teleport to you, because flyff will think u are cheating since the mobs are in one place for a certain amount of time and you are not getting hit. YOU cause this "thing" to happen by having the monsters chase you in circles, and probably by repetitive running and not enough aoeing. Heres my advice, run in straight lines, and then turn when you think you might be getting a bit too far, and keep aoeing. The way i personally do it is random, but I’m never turning the mobs back and forth, its always to some direction where ill bother people less, and then another direction that hopefully won’t bother people.
I thought it was stupid when I saw someone complain about flyff when he died because of this. But then I realized that this is something you shouldnt know about unless you’ve tried to abuse glitches and exploits back before v9. more around v5, when alot of unsucessful aoe eles and str aoe bps existed, don’t look at me! >.<
