Hopefully this will help to reduce the laziness of people waltzing into the Acrobat forum, instead of creating a new topic for a simple question, hopefully your simple question will be here in this FAQ this way it less time is wasted.
I also lied when I said it would reduce laziness, because this only helps that issue.
Anyway, here we go!
Acrobats
What is an Acrobat?
An Acrobat is a class that uses Bow’s and Yoyo’s as weapons. Acrobats have the advantage of attacking monsters from afar, yet at the same time, they provide themselves with a great deal of protection with their massive block rates and high DEX builds, as well as the unique ability to make themselves invisible for a very short time in order to rid themselves of almost any threat.
As a Bow-Acrobat, which skill will I be using the most?
Junk Arrow is your everlasting friend, it’s powerful, and it’s success rate of hitting increases to a nice 70% when mastered.
Junk Arrow is undeniably the strongest 1st Job skill in the game, so spam the daylights out of it.
As a Yoyo-Acrobat, which skill is the most useful to me while training?
Until you become a Jester, you may find some difficult in leveling quickly. However, to make it easier, you will be using crossline ALOT.
Master crossline, you won’t be disappointed. You will be using this while training quite often, or in some cases, it may even turn out to be the only thing you use while training, just bring alot of FP pots.
How do I level Fast Walker/Dark Illusion/Perfect Block?
They all have cooldowns, so your forced to wait until the cooldown ends. It only makes the process longer than it would to spam a skill with no cooldown at all, otherwise, place an object on the button, go AFK, and spam, thats the best you can do.
NOTE: When V7 is released, this will no longer be the case, as skill-spamming will no longer have any effect on leveling skills.
Is it worth getting Perfect Block?
Yes, Perfect Block is your soul-mate, DO NOT MISS THIS SKILL, you will hate yourself later.
Master this skill as soon as you possibly can, you’ll definately be glad you did.
How do I use Pulling?
You must have a Yoyo equipped to use it, it does not work with any other weapon.
Equip a Yoyo, select a monster, put pulling in a quick key or F-Key, and use it.
Done!
How do I use Snitch?
You must be in the state of Dark Illusion.
You must be standing behind the monster.
Use Snitch.
If you don’t use Dark Illusion or stand behind the monster, then Snitch will not work.
Is there an easier way to level snitch without using a reskill?
No, you have to level it yourself using the method mentioned in the question directly above this one.
Otherwise, wait until V7 is released, this will solve all your problems, unless you can’t wait that long.
What are the Speed Breaks for the Acrobat Class?
All the speed breaks were kindly posted by z1mq4e5.
His topic can be found here:
http://flyff.gpotato.com/phpbb/viewtopi … highlight=
What is a "Speed Break"?
A Speed Break is when your DEX reaches a certain number, and your attack speed increases by 3% to 7%. It’s a fixed number, the amount you get is not random.
There are several Speed Breaks you can obtain, it just requires a rediculously high amount of DEX to obtain the last few.
Note: Speed Breaks do not affect skills.
Does Bow-Mastery work? Fansites say +20% Attack Rate!
Don’t pay attention to the fansites, it is NOT 20% Attack Rate.
It is +20 Attack Rate, which is approximately 21-26 extra damage added to your bow attacks.
Unfortunately, Bow-Mastery isn’t very good compared to all other classes, even Yoyo-Mastery is better by twice as much.

Rangers
What is a Ranger?
A Ranger is a Bow using class, they are experts in gathering monsters, silencing annoying mage-classes, and is pretty much the top AoE character in the game.
They are experts in gathering a vastly large number of monsters, and being able to take them all down quickly, with a very small amount of STA.
What is Triple Shot? How strong is it?
A skill that fires a single arrow (even though it looks like three) to hit and push back an enemy. It only hits once and consumes only 1 arrow.
it’s not very strong, the 8-second cooldown and the 100 MP Cost at master makes this skill pretty useless except for PvP purposes.
It’s only alittle stronger than Silent Arrow.
Can Ranger’s get a 100% Critical Rate?
No.
Unless by some miracle that reaching level 190+ was possible.
Are Ranger’s good at Gaint hunting?
They’re one of the slowest giant-killers if you use normal attack.
They can be pretty average if you spam Junk Arrow.
Other than that, they are no more effective against giants as any other class, so, you decide.
What are Ranger’s good for?
Ranger’s are a class made for AoEing, thats what they are here for, thats their specialty. They have AoE’s to cause damage over time, and AoE’s to massively slow down monsters attack speeds and movement speeds.
Ranger’s can AoE large numbers of mobs with very little STA (40 STA) many levels above them. A good RM and a good Perfect Block are your friends.
Does INT do anything for a Ranger?
The only thing INT does for a Ranger is to increase the damage of Burning Field, which comes from a result of using Fire Arrow.
The amount of damage you gain is too little to bother with INT.
Ranger’s have very low MP! Should I raise INT?
If you can afford a good Mental-Necklace, or even a Shineglass, then DO NOT add into your INT.
It’s better to sacrifice a Gore-Necklace for a Mental-Necklace in order to save points.
Think of it this way, you can take off the Mental-Necklace, and you can take off the Shineglass.
YOU CANNOT take down your INT without the use of a very expensive Restat.
Any points you put into INT could have been needed DEX for Hit Rate, Block Rate,
Attack Rate, Evasion, and Critical Rate.
I urge anyone, no matter how desperate you may be for MP, DO NOT raise your INT.
Why is Nature so useless while training? Doesn’t it add Magic Defense?
Currently the only use for Nature is for PvP in the case your fighting an Elementor.
Otherwise, the only reason I can give for this would be because that Aoensoft was too lazy to add any other variety of monsters that use anything else BUT normal attack all the time.
Hey Aoensoft, throw us a bone here, put some darn Spell-Casting monsters in for us.
What skills should I have for Ranger after v.7?
Ranger needs everything basic, a high level junk Arrow, a level 8-10 DI (Not exactly used for AoEing, just to get away) and a mastered Perfect Block. Master out your AoEs and you’ll be fine.

Do Ranger’s get any special effect when they advance? (ie. Knights get Swordcross, Jesters get 4x-Critical Rate)
Nothing too special in particular.
Ranger’s get a STA adjustment so that we get the same HP as a Knight.
This is why it looks like your HP increases by several hundred points when you advance.
Jesters
What is a Jester?
Jester’s are a Yoyo using class, and they take a great liking to criticals. Jester’s are very fast attackers, very heavy damage dealers, and possess some of the most powerful 1v1 Skills in the game such as ‘Hit of Penya’.
Jester’s are strictly 1v1 and have no AoE techniques for them to use, underestimate a Yoyo jester, and you’ll be digging yourself an early grave.
Why does a Jester have such a high critical rate? How high is it?
Jester’s have a high critical rate because they use the lowest attacking weapon in the game, so the damage is made up in the form of criticals, this allows them to be one of the top damage dealers in all of FlyFF.
A Jester’s critical rate is exactly 4 times higher than any other class. Meaning for every 10 DEX, Jester’s receive a 4% Critical Rate increase, where all other classes only get 1%.
Jester’s also have a level 65 skill called ‘Critical Swing’, which gives an additional 40% Critical Rate when it is mastered.
Can a Jester get a 100% Critical Rate? If so, how?
When you turn into a Jester at level 60, your critical ratio goes up by 4 times the normal amount.
Guides say to put your DEX at 92, since this is all around the best number to use.
92 Dex, which is 9% to all other classes, is actually 36% for a Jester.
At level 65 you get a new skill called ‘Critical Swing’, which at mastered level, gives another 40% Critical Rate.
At level 90 you get a set which gives you a nice 15% Critical Rate Bonus.
36+40+15=91%
Now lets say all your armor is +5, and you will be using the level 75 Yoyo for life.
The Yoyo adds +7 Dex and the +5 Upgrades give +1 All Stats.
With this, your DEX will go from 92 to 100, which will give you an extra 4% Critical Rate.
So 91% now becomes 95%.
Lets put a Ringmaster into this, and lets say this Ringmaster has a Mastered Cannonball, which adds +20 DEX.
The Ringmaster buffs our dear little Jester, and now has 120 Dex, and that extra 20 DEX gives 8% more critical rate.
95% becomes 100% with 3% to spare.
Thats about how a Yoyo-Jester gets 100% Critical Rate in a nutshell.
What is a Bow-Jester?
It’s a Jester that takes advantage of the 4x Critical Rate by using a Bow.
Using a Bow allows them to toss monsters when criticaled, instead of pushing the monsters around like a Yoyo does.
Are Bow-Jesters any good?
They are strickly 1v1, and pretty much require an RM to be with them at all times.
They are extremely powerful, but they are literally the most repetitive class in terms of training, especially when all it comes down to is "select and shoot".
If you like repetition, then good for you, choose this class, it’ll excite you for a lifetime.
I’ll stop here since I’m on the border line between a bias and unbias description of this type of Jester.
If I make a Bow-Jester, what can I do with the skills?
Nothing, Jester skills are strictly Yoyo-Only, which makes all the Jester skills useless to you.
Bow-Jesters have an entirely different build compared to Yoyo-Jesters, so if a Bow-Jester was to equip a Yoyo and use the Jester skills, they would be less than half as useful as they would be compared to a Yoyo-Jester build.
Also, any of the Enchant buffs would cancel of you take your Yoyo off to equip a bow.
As a Bow-Jester, your stuck with Acrobat skills, sorry.

What does Hit of Penya do?
Hit of Penya is among the most godly skills in this game, however it comes at a high cost.
It costs penya to use, the amount of damage it does is exactly how much penya the skill costs.
The skill is STR based, the higher your STR, the stronger the skill is.
Best of all, this skill ignores defense, which makes Yoyo-Jesters a class you don’t want to screw with during PvP.
Whats better, Enchant Poison/Blood/Absorb?
There’s been alot of controversy over this one. However, I will say that each one is stronger than one another depending on what your level and weapon is.
Enchant Absorb is an exception, it will never be better than Posion or Blood.
Enchant Blood bases itself off your critical damage, meaning from level 60-65 it is pretty much useless to you. However your damage still isn’t very high even after gaining Critical Swing to help your Critical Rate.
So here’s my conclusion.
From level 60-74, use Enchant Poison.
At level 75, with Historic-Yoyo, from that point on, Enchant Blood takes control as the strongest of your Enchants.
If you do not have Historic-Yoyo, then continue to use Enchant Poison until you do.
Will Bow-Jesters be nerfed? Should they be nerfed?
No, they will not be nerfed.
No, Bow-Jesters don’t need to be nerfed, there is nothing wrong with them, people only want them to be nerfed because they hate Bow-Jesters.
Note: For those of you who think I’m a Bow-Jester for the simple fact that I am defending them, you are wrong, I am a Ranger, I too have had my period of hatred toward Bow-Jesters, but I have learned to accept them, and so should everyone else.
What skills should I have for Jester after v.7?
Jester needs a high level crossline (16+), a mastered Critical Swing (very important for later leveling), and everything else should be basic. Make sure, however, you have a level 7+ backstep, and close-to-master Hit of Penya, though. Also, mastered Dark Illusion and Perfect block is the best thing you can pour your points into.
