Okay, since I’ve been seeing a lot of speedbreak questions for acrobat, I’ve decided to make a mini-post about them =P I know there’s been other posts with this, but it looks like we need another ~.~

Anyways…some ask what is a speed break? Well, as the game into tells you, dex increases your attack speed. Every point ups it a little, but when you reach certain amounts of dex, there’s a noticable jump in your attack speed. It is these noticable jumps in speed that are refered to as "speedbreaks."

Note: Attack speed DOES NOT affect your skill speed. 100% aspeed will cast skills as fast as 50% aspeed.

Now, these are the specific attack speedbreaks for Bows:
15 Dex = 42% aspeed
27 Dex = 46% aspeed
63 Dex = 51% aspeed
99 Dex = 57% aspeed
134 Dex = 61% aspeed
170 Dex = 67% aspeed

These are the attack speedbreaks for yoyos:
15 Dex = 42% aspeed
27 Dex = 46% aspeed
59 Dex = 51% aspeed
92 Dex = 57% aspeed
125 Dex = 61% aspeed
159 Dex = 67% aspeed

A couple other notes. Jesters get an attack speed bonus, equal to one dex jump. For example, a jester attacking with a yoyo with 92 dex would attack as fast as an acrobat/ranger with 125 dex. This same dex jump is applied to bows; a jester with 99 dex has a bow speed of an acrobat with 134 dex. Rangers, on the other hand, have no natural attack speed bonus, but they get a self buff at level 65 that gives them +25% bow speed when maxed.

Also, attackspeed cannont exceed 100%, even with haste or GT.
