1. Prologue
Hi there! Now, as i probably will have left Florensia and was at my active time in the Top-5 in the level ranking and one of the most feared PVP opponents on LuxPlena, i would like to show you my build. After a few reskills and restats I finally found one day my “final build”.
I heard from a lot of players that the excavator is one of the weakest classes in this game. Either these people have never played an excavator and so have no idea of what they speak about or as there were also some excavators who said these statements, they just had a bad build.
As far as i have been told by players of other classes and experienced for myself with my few other characters, there is for nearly every class one build for an AoE, a 1on1 and a PVP build. That means you decide at the beginning what you would like to play like and then you put your stats and skills for the way you decided and you are good in this way of playing but in the other 2 ways of playing you are not able to be successful. This is the strength of the excavator: With one proper build you have have the perfect character for all 3 ways of playing (AoE, 1on1, PVP) and that without to specialize for one certain way of playing. YOU can level quite fast and defeat nearly every opponent in PVP. One other good thing is that you don’t have a excavator who is just a little bit good in AoE, 1on1 and PVP, no, all 3 ways of playing are strong and wouldn’t be much stronger when you would specialize on one of them.
How this build works i want to show you here. (During my active time i havent ever told anyone my build, but now i don`t care anymore ). Its a quite long thread… I hope you are able to read the whole text
2. Concept
Alright, before we head on to the stats and skills i first want to show you the general concept of this hybrid excavator because not everyone probably wants to play like this and so after you will have read this chapter you can decide if you want to play like this.
With this build you have a little bit more work than with a pure Dual Gun excavator, because you have to work with the F1 and F2 keys xD If you are able to accomplish this incredible task, switching fluently with the F-Keys between your Dual Gun and Rifle and to learn how to use your 2 weapons optimal you will have accomplished the most difficult part (ye, most of the people I told to use Dual Guns and Rifle told me its too much work for them ).
This leads us to the first important point of our concept: We use both, Dual Guns and Rifle as weapons for our excavator.
Let`s take a look at the concept of leveling:
Like i already said, this build is for both, AoE and 1on1 leveling. But I have to mention that an excavator is a natural AoE-class, so you will level faster when you AoE, i leveled the AoE way too. The fact that you can easily defeat single enemies too is more a feature of this build which is actually for PVP. The excavators skills naturally don’t do that much damage so its not worth leveling 1on1 all the time. An excavator is someone who doesn’t kill his enemies the fast way, but over a longer time period. Because of that you will reach your goals (reaching a high level) slower when you level 1on1 than AoE. Sometimes when I didn’t want to AoE I leveled 1on1, but never for a long time. Just to get some variation…
What does that mean for our hybrid: Primarily we level via AoE, for this we need just our Dual Guns, so you don’t have to switch between your weapons here^^
Now let`s take a look at 1on1/PVP fights:
Leveling 1on1 and PVP are quite similar. How I think about the 1on1 leveling I already wrote before so this refers more to PVP.
At the 1on1 way (leveling or PVP) we use both, our Dual Guns and Rifle, so here u have to switch between these weapons. The perfect mixture of the skills of both weapons makes it possible to defeat your opponent in PVP and to kill single monsters the fast way. But as we will just upgrade two Rifle skills its still not worth to level 1on1 for a longer time.
What does that mean for our hybrid: At 1on1 we use skills of the Dual Guns and Rifle, you have to learn to fluently switch between your weapons.
Alright, that should be enough about the general concept. Later we will see some detailed tactics too.
3. Stats
After telling you some general things let`s begin to give our excavator life. We start with the stats.
First at all i want to say that unfortunately in Florensia it is like that: When u don`t specialise on 1 or 2 stats, but put some points in here, a few here and maybe even some there, u already messed u pur build. All the single stats show just their real strength when they are really high. When u have a few points in several stats this has no effects. I guess that’s the problem why so many people say their build is so weak…
We will concentrate on two stats, strength and constitution. In this chapter i will give a statement to each stat.
First the stats we won`t put any points in, that means 0 points!
These are „intelligence“ and „Will“ (ok, and „Luck“, but this one we aren’t able to change since… Well, it has been at 10 since the beginning of this game ).
We don`t want to create an Excavator who deals a lot of critical hits („Will“), we would have to specialise on this stat if we want to see any effect, but that means we won`t have points for the other stats. And we also don’t want to increase the magical power of our Exca („Intelligence“). Obviously it also increases the skill damage but that does “Strength” as well + „Strength“ also increases the damage of normal hits. So we will use “Strength” instead.
Let`s go on with the stats, which we will upgrade to a certain base, which will be absolutely enough:
These are „Dexterity“ and„Wisdom“.
An excavator doesn’t even in higher level regions need a lot of MP. Because of that we will put in “Wisdom” just as much points as we need to cast our skills fluently. As a guideline i would say put 30 points into Wisdom, this will give us a good base MP and bonuses from seals, 2nd-Class-Armor and level-ups will give us enough MP for all of our skills.
Now the biggest controversy, should I go for „Dexterity“ or „Constitution“?
My general attitude to „dex“: This stat doesn`t need anyone except AoE-Classes whose AoE-skills have a cast bar. Excavator AoE-skills are instant (except „Mine Trap“), so we won`t need „dex“ because of a cast bar.
But let`s speak detailed about „dex“, what does it do:
– „dex“ increases your accuracy. But ust für normal hits, not skills. That means for skill hitting we don`t need dex. What about normal shots? For that we have the skill „Concentration“ which we will max + the bonuses of seals, 2nd-Class-Armor and upgraded gloves will be enough to hit with normal shots. When we PVP it is possible that our normal hits will miss the opponent quite a few times, but that’s no problem as we work with skills in PVP and as I already mentioned is hitting with skills independent of “dex”.
– Furthermore „dex“ increases your avoidance. But the points you get by every point in “dex” for your avoidance is so low that it would be just worth when you specialize on “dex”. But then we would have no points left for the other stats. With your skill “Raise Agility” + Sniper buff + bonuses of seals, 2nd-Class-Armor and upgraded shoes you probably would be able to level (AoE) with a “dex”- build (mixed with some points in “con”). But in PVP you have absolutely no chance with a “dex”-build! First you don’t have a lot of HP, which will make it easy for your opponent to kill you. Second your avoidance rate shows just an effect in PVP when your opponent attacks you with normal hits, when you will be attacked by skills avoidance has no effect on that! And as you use mostly skills in PVP you will be hit all the time and die pretty fast.
Because of that we won`t go for „dex“ with our hybrid Excavator. Like “Wisdom” we put some base points into „dex“. I would give you a guideline of 30 points for this stat too. This base + the bonuses you can get in avoidance + our specialization on „con“ will be enough to AoE.
Let`s see the the stats, we will specialise on.
These are „Constitution“ and „Strength“.
Strength: In Florensia „strength“ increases the damage dealt by long range weapons, don`t ask me why. Every point in “strength” increases the damage by 3. That`s not really much. To compensate the low damage of normal hits ist too low. Just when you would specialize on “strength” you would see a great difference in your damage, but then you won`t have any points for the other stats again. As I already mentioned an excavator defeats his opponent over a longer period of time. Because of that it is enough for us to give “strength” the 2nd highest priority to get some adequate base damage.
My Excavator is Lv69, as guideline for this level region i suggest 60 points. This gives us a good base damage and we have a lot of points fo the other stats left. When I would play anymore I would put my points in strength so that I ould have 100 points at lv 99.
Constitution: Remember „dex“. The deficit of accuracy we avoided the way I explained above. We have a good base in avoidance too. We will still be hit when we AoE, but not that much. And when we become hit its no problem as we have a lot of HP. That means we can AoE with a high amount of points in “con” as well as we would have a lot of “dex”. It doesn’t matter if we become hit as we don`t have skills with a cast bar (except one, see next chapter). But what is even more important is that you need high HP in PVP to survive, as I mentioned before “dex” is useless in PVP.
This leads us to following statement:
Why should you go for “dex” when you can AoE with “con” as well AND YOU HAVE ADDITIONALLY a PVP build? Also when you don`t like PVP and never PVP… Why shouldn`t you at least take this additonal chance to do it when you have no disadvantages (actually you need a lot of HP for other things too, for example skills of mobs…). When you go for “dex” you cant PVP and you just have disadvantages with monster skills. With “con” you don’t lose the ability to AoE AND you have several other advantages.
„Dex“-Build = AoE
„Con“-Build = Same as „Dex“-Build + even more advantages
To be able to resist a lot of damage when we AoE and PVP „Constitution“ will be our primarily stat, in which we will put all points which will be left after dividing the stat-points into the other stats like mentioned in this chapter.
That was the chapter about the stats. As u see we have a build which takes its advantage of its high amount of HP, it has a good basic damage and enough MP and avoidance/accuracy. We can fight 1on1/PVP/AoE.
Let`s go on with the skills we will use for our hybrid Excavator.
4. Skills
After giving our excavator some life with stats we will take a look at the skills now. As i already mentioned we use Dual Guns and Rifle skills, the rifle skills for 1on1 and the Dual Guns skills for AoE and 1on1.
I don`t have so many fighting skills i upgraded high. Most skills show their strength in the higher levels, so instead of skilling a lot of/every skill i concentrated on a few ones which i upgraded a lot.
When you want to see all Explorer skills take a look here:
http://www.florensia-online.com/forum/v … 61&t=42381
Here I will just mention the ones we will use. Thanks to Xyii that i can use hiss kill descriptions ^^
Let`s start with the passive skills:
Raise Agility
Increases avoidance. As we don`t have a dex-build we will use this skill to get a certain avoidance base. We max this skill!
lvl 1 —- Increase Evasion rate by 13. Land Lvl 13
lvl 2 —- Increase Evasion rate by 16. Land Lvl 19
lvl 3 —- Increase Evasion rate by 20. Land Lvl 25
lvl 4 —- Increase Evasion rate by 26. Land Lvl 31
lvl 5 —- Increase Evasion rate by 33. Land Lvl 37
lvl 6 —- Increase Evasion rate by 40. Land Lvl 43
lvl 7 —- Increase Evasion rate by 50. Land Lvl 49
lvl 8 —- Increase Evasion rate by 60. Land Lvl 55
lvl 9 —- Increase Evasion rate by 70. Land Lvl 61
lvl 10 — Increase Evasion rate by 81. Land Lvl 67
Concentration
Increases accuracy. As we don`t have a dex-build we will use this skill to get a certain accuracy base. We max this skill!
lvl 1 —- Increase range by 2m and accuracy rate by 14. Land Lvl 3
lvl 2 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 19 Land Lvl 6
lvl 3 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 25. Land Lvl 9
lvl 4 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 35. Land Lvl 12
lvl 5 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 48. Land Lvl 16
lvl 6 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 66. Land Lvl 20
lvl 7 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 87. Land Lvl 24
lvl 8 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 110. Land Lvl 28
lvl 9 —- Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 142. Land Lvl 33
lvl 10 — Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 174. Land Lvl 38
lvl 11 — Increase range by 3m and accuracy rate by 212. Land Lvl 43
Dual Gun Mastery
Increases the attack speed of your Dual Guns. As Dual Guns aren’t doing so much damage you should at least max this skill to deal more damage over a longer period, you will feel the difference!
lvl 1 —- adds 0.10 long distance attack speed when using a DualGun. Land Lvl 5
lvl 2 —- adds 0.13 long distance attack speed when using a DualGun. Land Lvl 8
lvl 3 —- adds 0.16 long distance attack speed when using a DualGun. Land Lvl 11
lvl 4 —- adds 0.19 long distance attack speed when using a DualGun. Land Lvl 14
lvl 5 —- adds 0.22 long distance attack speed when using a DualGun. Land Lvl 17
And the skill „Rifle Mastery“ we will skill to level 1 to reach the next skills in the Rifle skill tree.
Now the active skills, we start with the Rifle-Skills:
Aimed Shot
Aimed Shot slows down your enemy for 8 seconds. This skill is an important 1on1 skill but as we won`t use it as damage dealing skill, but just to slow down enemies, we will skill it to level 1.
lvl 1 — mp use: 72 add damage: 126 Moving Speed -60%, seconds locked: 8 sec Land Lvl 6
Burst Shot
Burst Shot attacks your enemy and stuns him. This skill we use for 1on1 too. Its damage is quite OK but what is even more important is that it stuns your enemy for a longer time period. We skill it to level 4 as it reaches the longest stun period at this level.
lvl 1 —- mp use: 195 add damage: 256 disable: stun seconds locked: 3.5 sec Land Lvl 14
lvl 2 —- mp use: 234 add damage: 344 disable: stun seconds locked: 4 sec Land Lvl 20
lvl 3 —- mp use: 277 add damage: 432 disable: stun seconds locked: 4.5 sec Land Lvl 25
lvl 4 —- mp use: 330 add damage: 520 disable: stun seconds locked: 5 sec Land Lvl 30
Shooting Nova
Shooting Nova attacks your enemy and deals quite a lot of damage. This skill will be our main damage dealing skill at 1on1. He deals the most damage of our skills and you can easily kill single monsters or other players in PVP. The disadvantage is the high amount of MP of this skill. Nevertheless we max this skill!
lvl 1 — mp use: 264 add damage: 1112 Land Lvl 28
lvl 2 — mp use: 310 add damage: 1345 Land Lvl 34
lvl 3 — mp use: 356 add damage: 1578 Land Lvl 40
lvl 4 — mp use: 402 add damage: 1811 Land Lvl 46
lvl 5 — mp use: 448 add damage: 2044 Land Lvl 52
lvl 6 — mp use: 494 add damage: 2277 Land Lvl 58
lvl 7 — mp use: 540 add damage: 2510 Land Lvl 64
lvl 8 — mp use: 586 add damage: 2743 Land Lvl 70
lvl 9 — mp use: 632 add damage: 2976 Land Lvl 76
lvl 10 — mp use: 678 add damage: 3209 Land Lvl 82
OK, these are all Rifle-Skills we use with our hybrid excavator.
Let`s take a look at the Dual Guns-Skills.
First of all there`s the question if you should upgrade Quick-Shot or Assault Vermillon. Quick-Shot ist he first skill you have to learn. It deals half of the damage of Assault Vermillon but therefor its reuse time is just the half of Assault. And unfortunately you get Assault very late, at level 30. Another disadvantage of Quick Shot is that it needs 3 more skill points to max it than Assault. I can`t exactly tell you with which one of these too you should play, at maxed level they are quite equal. Assault deals its damage at once, Quick Shot you have to use twice to deal the same damage as Assault. I prefer Assault as I deal the damage at once and can concentrate then on my other skills. Also I have quite a good use of the 3 skill points I can save compared to Quick Shot. So try it for yourself and take the one you prefer to play with. Whatever you decide, the one you decided for you will have to max.
Quick Shot
lvl 1 —- mp use: 24 add damage: 42 Land Lvl 1
lvl 2 —- mp use: 47 add damage: 84 Land Lvl 4
lvl 3 —- mp use: 70 add damage: 126 Land Lvl 7
lvl 4 —- mp use: 93 add damage: 168 Land Lvl 10
lvl 5 —- mp use: 119 add damage: 256 Land Lvl 15
lvl 6 —- mp use: 145 add damage: 344 Land Lvl 20
lvl 7 —- mp use: 171 add damage: 432 Land Lvl 25
lvl 8 —- mp use: 197 add damage: 520 Land Lvl 30
lvl 9 —- mp use: 223 add damage: 608 Land Lvl 35
lvl 10 — mp use: 249 add damage: 696 Land Lvl 40
lvl 11 — mp use: 275 add damage: 784 Land Lvl 45
lvl 12 — mp use: 301 add damage: 872 Land Lvl 50
lvl 13 — mp use: 327 add damage: 960 Land Lvl 55
Assault Vermillon
lvl 1 —- mp use: 141 add damage: 376 skill re-use: 20s Land Lvl 30
lvl 2 —- mp use: 164 add damage: 470 skill re-use: 20s Land Lvl 35
lvl 3 —- mp use: 193 add damage: 584 skill re-use: 20s Land Lvl 40
lvl 4 —- mp use: 224 add damage: 723 skill re-use: 20s Land Lvl 45
lvl 5 —- mp use: 259 add damage: 897 skill re-use: 20s Land Lvl 50
lvl 6 —- mp use: 294 add damage: 1098 skill re-use: 20s Land Lvl 55
lvl 7 —- mp use: 325 add damage: 1306 skill re-use: 20s Land Lvl 60
lvl 8 —- mp use: 353 add damage: 1514 skill re-use: 12s Land Lvl 65
lvl 9 —- mp use: 378 add damage: 1729 skill re-use: 12s Land Lvl 70
lvl 10 — mp use: 403 add damage: 1944 skill re-use: 12s Land Lvl 75
Moving Shot
Moving Shot attacks your enemy and stuns him. It’s a very important skill for 1on1 which you will use all the time. This skill I would level to level 11 or 12 as the maximum time period of the stun will be reached at these levels and because the damage is quite good. As you will use this skill all the time the sum of the dealt damage will be nice.
lvl 1 —- mp use: 48 add damage: 69 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 15
lvl 2 —- mp use: 73 add damage: 118 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 20
lvl 3 —- mp use: 100 add damage: 181 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 25
lvl 4 —- mp use: 113 add damage: 263 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 30
lvl 5 —- mp use: 172 add damage: 360 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 35
lvl 6 —- mp use: 208 add damage: 475 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 40
lvl 7 —- mp use: 245 add damage: 617 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 45
lvl 8 —- mp use: 282 add damage: 767 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 50
lvl 9 —- mp use: 315 add damage: 919 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 55
lvl 10 — mp use: 343 add damage: 1073 disable: stun seconds locked: 3 sec Land Lvl 60
lvl 11 — mp use: 370 add damage: 1230 disable: stun seconds locked: 4 sec Land Lvl 65
lvl 12 — mp use: 394 add damage: 1390 disable: stun seconds locked: 4 sec Land Lvl 70
Crimson Dust
Crimson Dust ist he most important Excavator skill for PVP. It reflects a certain amount of the dealt damage back to your enemy. Why killing an enemy yourself when he will do it for you
Together with our high amount of HP this skill is really great. YOU can resist a long time your opponents attacks, because of that I just let my enemy attack me after I casted Crimson on him. He loses a lot of HP and at the end I use some of my skills to kill him. If you have a smart enemy who doesn’t attack you while Crimson is casted on him you at least will have something like a 15 seconds stun where you can do with your opponent what you want to. This skill we max!
lvl 1 — mp use: 262 reflect damage in percent: 20% Land Lvl 45
lvl 2 — mp use: 301 reflect damage in percent: 35% Land Lvl 51
lvl 3 — mp use: 355 reflect damage in percent: 50% Land Lvl 57
lvl 4 — mp use: 425 reflect damage in percent: 65% Land Lvl 63
lvl 5 — mp use: 496 reflect damage in percent: 80% Land Lvl 69
lvl 6 — mp use: 569 reflect damage in percent: 100% Land Lvl 75
Gunkata we just skill to level 1 to reach the next skills in the Dual Guns skill tree.
Alright, these are all 1on1 skills we use, now we take a look at the AoE skills.
Gas Bomb
For me Gas Bomb is the most important AoE skill. Although it doesn’t deal a lot of damage at impact the Damage over Time (DoT) is very nice. And as we already know: The excavator defeats his enemies over a longer time period so this skill is great for that. We max this skill!
Unfortunately there`s a bug with this skill: New created Explorers have a max level of 15, old Explorers just 12. I don’t know the difference between lv 15 of new Explorer and lv 12 of old ones.
lvl 1 —- mp use: 269 add damage: 240 Poison DoT: 76 per 3s damage for 15 seconds Land Lvl 30
lvl 2 —- mp use: 293 add damage: 296 Poison DoT: 91 per 3s damage for 15 seconds Land Lvl 33
lvl 3 —- mp use: 317 add damage: 352 Poison DoT: 106 per 3s damage for 15 seconds Land Lvl 36
lvl 4 —- mp use: 341 add damage: 408 Poison DoT: 121 per 3s damage for 18 seconds Land Lvl 39
lvl 5 —- mp use: 365 add damage: 464 Poison DoT: 136 per 3s damage for 18 seconds Land Lvl 42
lvl 6 —- mp use: 389 add damage: 520 Poison DoT: 151 per 3s damage for 18 seconds Land Lvl 45
lvl 7 —- mp use: 413 add damage: 576 Poison DoT: 166 per 3s damage for 18 seconds Land Lvl 48
lvl 8 —- mp use: 437 add damage: 632 Poison DoT: 181 per 3s damage for 21 seconds Land Lvl 51
lvl 9 —- mp use: 461 add damage: 688 Poison DoT: 196 per 3s damage for 21 seconds Land Lvl 54
lvl 10 — mp use: 485 add damage: 744 Poison DoT: 211 per 3s damage for 21 seconds Land Lvl 57
lvl 11 — mp use: 509 add damage: 800 Poison DoT: 226 per 3s damage for 21 seconds Land Lvl 60
lvl 12 — mp use: 533 add damage: 856 Poison DoT: 241 per 3s damage for 21 seconds Land Lvl 63
Explosion
Explosion deals more damage at once than Gas Bomb but over a longer time period Gas Bomb deals more. Nevertheless we max this skill!
lvl 1 — mp use: 576 add damage: 793 Land Lvl 40
lvl 2 — mp use: 650 add damage: 968 Land Lvl 46
lvl 3 — mp use: 717 add damage: 1144 Land Lvl 52
lvl 4 — mp use: 777 add damage: 1322 Land Lvl 58
lvl 5 — mp use: 831 add damage: 1502 Land Lvl 64
lvl 6 — mp use: 881 add damage: 1686 Land Lvl 70
Mine Trap
The last AoE skill of our excavator. To be honest: I`m not a fan of this skill.
1. Its bugged (sometimes there`s no mine when you used the skill)
2. It has a casting bar
3. Enemies have to run over the mine to make it explode
4. Useless in PVP as noone is so stupid to run over it
5. Costs a lot of MP
Advantage:
1. High damage
2. Never misses the enemies
Personally I wouldn’t skill it like this skill is at the moment. But of course you can test it for yourself and decide if you want to use it. With some practice it is possible to single AoE with this skill although that’s quite dangerous. At party AoE its quite a good skill, your party member gets all the monsters and you put the mine. But who levels in a party in this game…
lvl 1 — mp use 630 add damage: 1291 Land level 50
lvl 2 — mp use 700 add damage: 1492 Land level 55
lvl 3 — mp use 770 add damage: 1758 Land level 60
lvl 4 — mp use 864 add damage: 2104 Land level 65
lvl 5 — mp use 942 add damage: 2453 Land level 70
lvl 6 — mp use 1012 add damage: 2807 Land level 75
lvl 7 — mp use 1077 add damage: 3164 Land level 80
Ok, these are all aoes, let`s see the support skills.
Our two speed buffs, Wings of Wind and Wind Walk. We max all two of them! When you are used to the high speed you don’t want to miss these skills. Also in PVP you are very flexible and you need these skills for AoE too. And of course every Excavator has to skill Wind Walk, otherwise the other classes are sad when they don’t get a speed buff
Wings of Wind
Increases your own speed.
lvl 1 —- Increase movement speed by 20% for 15 minutes. MP use: 59 Land Lvl 20
lvl 2 —- Increase movement speed by 30% for 15 minutes. MP use: 88 Land Lvl 26
lvl 3 —- Increase movement speed by 40% for 15 minutes. MP use: 119 Land Lvl 32
Wind Walk
Increases the speed of all party members.
lvl 1 — Increase moving speed of nearby party members by 20% for 10 minutes. Land lvl 43 MP 340
lvl 2 — Increase moving speed of nearby party members by 28% for 1o minutes. Land lvl 49 MP 387
lvl 3 — Increase moving speed of nearby party members by 36% for 1o minutes. Land lvl 55 MP 470
lvl 4 — Increase moving speed of nearby party members by 44% for 1o minutes. Land lvl 61 MP 554
lvl 5 — Increase moving speed of nearby party members by 50% for 1o minutes. Land lvl 67 MP 578
Balance Up
Increases the chance not to be stunned (normal hits, no stun skills). I don’t have this skill and don`t miss it. Even when i AoE i don`t become stunned often and the few times i become stunned are no problem for me, so I can use the skill points for other things. Just take a look for yourself if you need this skill.
lvl 1 —- adds resistance against stun and critical by 20% Land Lvl 40
lvl 2 —- adds resistance against stun and critical by 40% Land Lvl 45
lvl 3 —- adds resistance against stun and critical by 60% Land Lvl 50
lvl 4 —- adds resistance against stun and critical by 80% Land Lvl 55
Hit Chain and Calm we just skill to lv 1 to get the next skills in the skill tree. Calm its the most useless skill i`ve ever seen, and Hit Chain would just be good if the accuracy bonus would be 3 times higher.
OK, these were all skills we use for our hybrid. We have fighting skills for 1on1 and AoE. We have our passive skills which compensate our deficit of dex. And we have our important speed buffs.
With our high amount of HP you can perfectly AoE and fight 1on1. YOU can resist a lot of attacks and deal quite a lot of damage (As much damage as a excavator cn deal )
Finally some tips how to play.
5. Tips
1on1/PVP:
Fighting 1on1 against mobs or other players is actually the same except that you use “Crimson Dust” actually just in PVP or at bosses. At leveling it makes less sense.
Actually there`s not much to say. At melee opponents we use Aimed Shot as our opening skill to slow them down. Then you can use your 1on1 damage skills or what I like to do too is to throw “Gas Bomb” on a single opponent. When your opponent is going to reach you, you have your two stun skills which you will use now. And then start from the beginning… Slow down, damage skills, stuns… Just take care all the time about the distance between you and your melee opponent, with our speed buffs we can „play“ with our opponent perfectly
When we fight against a distance opponent not much changes, except we won`t run and slow him down. First I would stun him with “Burst Shot”, then deal as much damage as possible, then use „Moving Shot“ (or in PVP „Crimson Dust“), deal damage again and so on and on…
AoE: When we AoE we use our speed buffs. When you collect all of your mobs you can either shoot at them, so they won`t hit you one time, or you can run past them and they will hit you once. And then you need some practice. With your speed buffs you can always run in a certain distance to your crowd of mobs, always build up a distance where the mobs can`t hit you but take care that you don`t lose them.
When you have a good distance to them you can throw “Gas Bomb” into them, run again, throw “Explosion” into them, run again and so on and on…
When you skilled „Mine Trap“ you can also use that one with some practice. Again, build up a good distance, then activate your skill and until the mobs will have reached you, you will nearly have finished putting down your mine and they won`t hit you that often. Then run again and the mobs will activate the mine…
OOOOOOK, that was my excavator guide, when i will know something else i can write in here, i will do it. When you see mistakes just tell me and I will correct them (not the language, there are certainly a lot of mistakes xD)
If you read the whole text, gratz xD
