In these days I see many dexterity build court magicians that try to aoe the mobs. The problem is they somehow wrongly skilled and stated or just don’t know the tricks. You keep asking about how to aoe and don’t want to search much. Since nobles are imbalanced (they are weak, face it) and both court magicians and magic knight have only 3 spells (quick spell doesn’t works) so it’s hard to play with nobles. A few wrongly spend skill and ability points can make you unbelievably weak

It’s not a guide like “you can do this, or you can do that; just pick one”! You will strictly do as I say or just keep wrongly play. Because noble coding and programming are undone, we are weak and have no opinion. In theory many things can be happen but it just won’t.

We are beginning

1) When you begin the game go and speak with the master saint. She will give you some money. With that money you can tune your ship. Set sail and don’t go to weedridge before your sea level becomes 8. You must spend all your points for dex. Don’t do any other thing.

2) You probably take the fire ball skill. That’s okay, we need it. Because we have no int for damage, we need fire ball. But never, ever give a second point to fire ball. It must remains at level 1. Buy the magic book of mind up.

3) Now we go to weedridge. Kill some weak fungis and take a level. It is important. Spend your second skill at mind up. And don’t give any other skill points to mind up.

4) Spend all of your ability points to dexterity. No matter what. If you short of mana you can add wisdom. But for whole game your wis must not went over 60. And the later level you reach 60, the better AoE court magician you will be. Is it complicated? You start with 19 wis, adding 41 points went your wisdom to 60. So, do not add more than 41 points to wis, ok?

5) Nearly all good skills are at later levels. And for take them we must spare our skill points. Do not spend them for unnecessary skills. Here are the skills that you must take and you must not to take:

Fishing: don’t take
Fire ball: just one point
Ice bolt: just one point
Ice shield: full it (main skill)
Ice bomb: just one point (main skill)
Ice thorn: full it (main skill)
Lightning shock: just one point
Heavy lightning: full it(semi main skill)
Fire pole: full it (main skill)
Wrath of earth: full it (main skill)
Sword of spirit: just one point (don’t use)
Phantom grief: just one point (don’t use)
Vampireric touch: just one point (main skill)
Shade of fear: full it (main skill)
Lure of incubus: don’t take it
Mind up: just one point
Insight of magic: just one point
Magic boost: full it (main skill)
Recharge: just one point
Magic power: full it (main skill)
Mental concentration: just one point
Protection of mana: just one point until you feel ready (main skill)
Quick spell: don’t take it. It’s bugged and doesn’t work. but perhaps they can correct it someday. so it will be clever to save up a few skill points to spend later.
Warp: don’t take
Teleport: don’t take
Balance up: don’t take

You must strictly follow these skills. Don’t give more or less than I wrote.

Now you have some questions I think. Let me explain:
-ice shield: after level 5 its effectiveness drops but no matter how much it drops, just take it.
-ice bomb: it is main skill but only one point? Yes. The main usage is its rooting power.
-ice thorn: if you play in mass aoe member party, you just not need it. (means you’ll take it)
-heavy lightning: semi main? Until level 48 (which you take woe) it is main skill. After than you’ll use it for 4th aoe skill for 3-4 level higher mobs, in party and incredibly wrong targeted aoes.
– fire pole: this is not an aoe skill but you need this. Because your single target damage is dull this is your only salvation. A single fire pole will eat up half the hp of your adversaries.
-vampireric touch: when you begin to collect mobs for aoeing, you’ll regain your hp with this skill.
-shade of fear: good for single target grinding (ranged mobs that aren’t 5 level lower than you) and bosses.
-magic power vs mental concentration: magic power adds 1-xxx damage and mental concentration improves critical rate. Critical is a good thing but you can’t critic all the time. And you can’t do much critic mobs that are higher level than you. But you can always do more damage with magic power. And while we have no int, we need every point of damage.

6) Beginning of AoEing. At level 32 we have two aoe: heavy lightning and ice bomb. With this two skills we can aoe the same level mobs until level 45, at level 45 we have ice thorn. And at level 48, wrath of earth replaces heavy lightning, but we still need it.

Now, nobody understands this; so I explain it as clear as I can:

-when you reach level 32 go to castle hall.
-place ice bomb to first box of you quick cast slots, vampireric touch to your second box, heavy lightning to your third box and ice shield to your fifth box. (Cariad at F1, rapier at F2)
-cast an ice bomb. Look to ground. While casting you’ll see 4 small circle (there are neptuns sing on it) around the large casting effect circle.
-cast a few ice bomb more to understand where they exactly appears.
-when you cast something you see a blue casting bar. That bar is empty at the beginning and fills at a certain speed. When it full, it will fade in 0.4 seconds and totally disappear.
-if you move while the casting bar not full, the spell is disrupted and you can’t cast it.
-but if you try to click somewhere while it fades, noble cast the spell and then do as you command.
-this is the trick:
*cast the ice bomb.
*when it begins to fade click one of the small circles.
*when noble cast ice bomb and move to the small circle, press 3 (heavy lightning).
*cast heavy lightning and hit the mobs.
*when the cool down time ends, cast another ice bomb and when casting bar begins to fade click one of the circles again.
*beawere, don’t wrongly click on a mob, you must click on the small circle. take the camera above your head to see the small circles better.
*when you understand this tactic you can click a more close point to yourself.

Why we are doing this? Ice bomb have a rooting effect. But due a bug, after casting ice bomb they still keep striking to you. But if you move a bit, even a single centimeter, even towards them, they must relocate their selves to hit you. But because they are rooted, they can’t do this and begin to run where they are. At that 3,5 seconds you take near no damage, but due some other bugs some of them can strike you one time. But that doesn’t means something. Don’t worry. For 3,5 seconds you are invincible. Because they can’t hit you, you can freely cast your big aoe. I must warn you that big aoe casting time is a half second longer than ice bombs rooting effect. If quick cast has not been bugged, we are totally out of harm’s way, but we are not. But if you are quick enough, you do it without great pain. Your dex still saves you.

And another thing about bosses; When you tank a boss you can cast ice bomb and use the same tactic (don’t do great aoe, just use ice bomb), it will root the boss and give you a free 3,5 seconds and an attack.

7) If you feel you’ll take massive amount of damage, because of a bit much collected mobs or you take more hit because out of chance, just cast your maximized ice shield. While you are protected by ice shield you don’t take casting bar damage.
but don’t forget; ice shield has a casting time. it is not instant. you must cast ice shield after a bit runing. make a small distance (be cautious, if you run too much, the will not follow you) and then cast ice shield. while you complate ice shield, monsters will surround you and you are free to cast ice bomb.

8) After level 50, the mobs doing tremendous of damage with an incredible of attack speed. To survive, you must use ice thorns. Ice thorn decreases both the damage they land and the speed of attacks. It doesn’t matter how much I tell you, you don’t understand before you see it.

So at level 48 (beginning of wrath of earth) cast ice bomb and move to circle, cast ice thorn, cast wrath of earth, cast ice bomb and move to circle. That’s all.

Just don’t forget to collect the mobs with vampireric touch when you get hit and cast an ice shield if you feel it will necessary. cast it just before the first ice bomb (after you collect the mobs).
