Flash’s Kingdom Quest Guide
Last updated (6/20/09)
NEW!few fixes, all exp rewards filled in
What is a kingdom quest(kq)?
They are like pre scheduled in game events that happen at certain times of each day, everyday. They range in different level brackets, different times, different prizes, and different amounts of people allowed to join. They generally range from 10-20 people max.
You can start to join Kqs at lv5+. They reward with an experience reward as well as different item reward(s).
This guide will help you to find out what Kqs there are, how to join them, what prizes they give, as well as some simple strategies to be able to beat them.
key terms:
Tank-person with good HP and defense who is able to keep a monsters attention w/ high aggro to take hits instead of squishier people.
DD-Damage dealers, refer to people who do damage and are squishy(mages/archers/str axe fighters)
How to join a kingdom quest?
So you are lv5+? then to join in a kingdom quest do the following:
Click this

you will see a screen similar to this (the list will differ depending on your lv)

Interface:
-List display: you will see at the top right my list & all tabs, the "my list" will show kqs you are able to join in on, and the "all", shows all kqs in the game.
-Title: the name of the kq, the A,B,C are different versions of the kq that recruit around the same time to allow large #s of people able to participate in them.
-Participants: Shows the current number of people in kq.
-Recruit Time: Shows the time the kq will be recruiting. (Start time)~(Stop time). Is displayed on 24:00 clock.
-Status: On schedule means the kq will start to recruit on the time displayed. Recruiting means the kq is recruiting people to join it(this means you can click participate to join it). In progress means the kq is in progress and people are doing it at that time.
-Clock: the mid-right you should see a timer on a blue background. This is the current time(is based off what time you have computer set at). and when this time matches the start time on a kq, the kq will start recruiting.
-KQ Description: this is under the timer in the big window. It shows details about the kq you have selected. Such as the lv range, the time limit, the max number of participants that can join. When the kq is recruiting, it also lists the names of the people who joined. Then underneath all that, it shows kq description.
-Participate/cancel: When you have a kq selected and it is in the recruit stage, you can click participate and join it.(when you have joined it, the name of the kq will turn yellow). To cancel participation in the kq, select the kq you are in and click cancel.
*Note*You can change list sorting order by clicking one 1 of the following: Title, Participants,Recruit Time, and Status. Best to do it by recruit time though.
Joining kq past the lv range
To do this just join the kq, and then go lv up. say slime is lv5-16. once you click participate at lv16 you are in kq. So if you go and lv to 18, you will join kq at lv18 when it starts.
i joined lv35-49 kq as a lv50 as archer fully t3d and buffed, and went like 52-0. >.>
KQ load fail
Sometimes the kq map will fail to lod like other maps do sometimes. Here are somethings to avoid doing when kq is close to starting,
*Do not be on trade screen.
*Do not be in fbz/abyss(you will not warp from pvp areas).
*Do not be going through player shops or be in a shop.
*Do not load another map.
*Best if your not talking to an npc.
Inside the KQ
Before you join
Make sure you make inventory space so you can get item chest at the end. Also make sure to fully restone. Maybe look around and buy some scrolls/potions of you need to. You can also try to form party before kq starts by looking at the participant list.
Inside
When you join a kq, its best to get a party right away. You can either shout for a party, or start inviting people to make a party.(please do not spam "pt plz" until you get one) Every like 10secs you can shout out for a party invite. Also keep in mind if there are 11 people in kq, and you have no party, there might be 2 full parties of 5people, and you could be the odd man out. Also note if you and like 2+ other people are shouting for pt, most likely 2 parties are full and you guys should party each other to form the 3rd one.
Stick together is an important part of a kq. You should try to get everyone past each part in a kq, otherwise they die out and that is less people you have @ end which might make it impossible to win.(sometimes its good to split parties in slime kq or honeying kq to make better time thought). Clerics should usually be behind most people and rez the ones that die. Kqs work much better when everyone is alive @ the end.
On the right side of your screen you will notice a timer and some red hearts. The timer is how much time you have to complete the kq, if the timer runs out before you do so, you will fail the kq(some exceptions). The hearts represent how many extra lives you have left.
When you die in a kq, when you click "move to town" you will respawn in the spot you died in and 1 heart will be taken from you. If you have no hearts left you will be transported to roumen. If you get revived you will receive no penalty.(lv20+ clerics can revive)
Exp for kills in kq depend on how much damage you/your party does to the monster, the more damage you do, the more exp you get per kill.
To get a success in a kq you must complete the objective given to you, which most are: kill everything in kq, kill the boss, or survive until the time runs out. Upon success you will receive a exp reward, and a chest box that is put in your inventory that contains various items.
*Note* If your inventory is full, you will not receive the chest!
*Note* If you are dead when the kq ends, you will not receive any exp or chest rewards, so make sure you are alive @ end. Its best to save 1 heart for that.
*Note* That if all members of KQ are dead at the same time you will fail the kq.
When a kq is failed all monsters will disappear, and you will be transported back to town, and will receive nothing.
KQ Quests: There are quests you get that can only be completed in the kq to give extra exp. You can get them from the town chiefs. Most of which require you to kill certain monsters in the kq. You get credit for kills as long as someone in your pt kills it.
1 fighter who can take hits(not squishy) to either tank or just deal constant melee damage, cleric for heal/buffs, then like 3DDs is probably the best pt to have, for getting the kill, thought its just sometimes based on luck of someone getting last hit.
The more people in your pt that are attacking the higher chance you have of getting it, so having like 3cleric in pt doesnt do much for you lol. and for bosses that have aoes, if that fighters cant hit from it, arnt very useful either.
Also tell your pt which kills you need so they can try and help you, works well when you all spam skills when the things is almost dead.
KQ LEECHING!This is against the rules and you can be banned for 3-7days for violation of this. Leeching means you join the kq and dont help or do any thing, stay @ beginning of kq while afk, ect. Kqs are a team effort, if you dont want to participate or just die out when you get in. DO NOT LEECH KQS!
King Slime’s Counterattack

Level Requirement: 5 – 16
Number of Participants: 15
Time Limit: 50 Minutes
Lives: 3
Frequency: Every 2 Hours

For this kq you have to kill everything in the level to get success. There are 4 floors to this kq. You must kill everything on the current floor to move up to the next one. Each floor gets smaller and the monsters become harder.
1st floor contains: Jumping Mushroom, Power Slime,Brave Honeying,Fire Slime, Iron Slime, Ratman.
2nd: Silver Slime, Warrior Boar, Gold Slime,Brave Honeying, Fire Slime, Iron Slime, Ratman.
3rd: Silver Slime, Gold Slime, Prince Slime
4th: the boss, king slime
When you get to the boss, You need to have someone tank. Usually someone with alot of HP and def. Fighters are best, they can spam kick, and then other skills. You can also have cleric, they can attack and then spam heal themselves to tank. mages/archers arnt as good of tankers but if necessary some can, just spamming all their attacks.
After you decide on tank, have most cleric target and heal them(unless a cleric is tanking). and have all others attack the king. Fighters who cant take a hit from king slime should just back up.
The king slime has an aoe attack(area of effect) meaning it will hit anything near him. This attack will sometimes cause bleed effect. When king slime reaches a certain HP, it will spawn monsters. The spawn order is 3 Power slime > 3 fire slime > 3 iron slime > 2 prince + the queen slime.
When he spawns these, the damage dealers should now focus on them, then go back to king. After awhile the king will die, and after all his spawns are dead, you will win the kq.

Mara Pirates’ Rage

Level Requirement: 17 – 25
Number of Participants: 15
Time Limit: 60 Minutes
Lives: 3
Frequency: Every 2 Hours

To beat this kq, all you have to do is kill the real mara and marlone. There are many fake ones in this kq. Just run past what ever you can, only fight what you need to. Work your way up the ship. When you get about 1/2 way you will encounter a fake mara and marlone. you MUST fight them to move on. if you skip them, the real ones wont be at the end, and you will have to go back.
Take them on 1 at a time. Have a fighter lv20+ tank it. Mara Has a aoe that will stun sometimes when it hits, close range fighters stay back unless you have good def. Marlone has frontal aoe that causes immobilize, which makes you not able to move, and sometimes not be able to use skills. Close range people stand directly behind him to avoid the attacks. After you kill them both, you will get some dialogue. Then continue on.
When you get to a big boat, go up the stairs, then go down a set of stairs on to the boat. This is the area you will camp in, clear all the monsters out of here. Then have archer or mage go pull the real mara/marlone out of the next boat, there is like 4-5 of each one.
*Note* The real mara when you click on her, will have a blue symbol on her hat(the little pic that appears when you target)

The real marlone has horns and faces left.

Just pull 1 @ a time, and when you kill them you kill the real ones they will say some dialogue. After killing both real ones you will win the KQ.
If you happen to pull a fake one, DONT ATTACK IT! get someone to grab it and bring it the other side of the boat you are in and die.

Gold Hill Adventure

Level Requirement: 20 – 32
Number of Participants: 15
Time Limit: 35 minutes
Lives: 3
Frequency: Every 2 Hours

For this kq you have to kill the boss and click on the gate that appears after you kill him. It is divided into 5sections divided by ice gates. To open the gate you need to find a key, via mining the ores in the section.(there is more then 1key in each section, but it only works for that 1 section).
Just kill what you have to and mine the ores and get the key as fast as possible. The key is hidden in a random ore.
The time limit is the time you have to get through the current section you are on, and resets for next section. The time does no roll over for next section.
When you get to the 4th section you have to fight a gold hill marlone. He is not that hard. Just get fighter with good hp/def to tank. He is just like marlone in mara KQ. After you kill him continue on mining until you get key. After you open last gate, the gold hill boss will spawn and run towards you, get tank to go mock him and fight him. have some DDs stand near gate’s direction while fighting, so you can run and click it asap. Once you click gate you will win kq.

Millenium Robo Plot

Level Requirement: 33 – 45
Number of Participants: 20
Time Limit: 30 Minutes
Lives: 3
Frequency: Every 2 Hours

To win this KQ you must either kill Robo, or survive until the time runs out. When the kq starts quickly run straight to one of the side rooms. From here fight off any thing that comes in or spawns in your room. This kq is ALL about teamwork. Fighters need to consistently mock, the clerics need to keep the tanks healed, and all the DDs need to use thier AoE attacks or you will become overwhelmed. At about 8mins left run out into the middle here you started kq. from here you can do 1 of 2 things.
1)keep aoeing the monsters, and then when robo spawns kill him. When your fighting him, he spawns monsters when his hp reaches a certain %. (really hard to do)
2)Start running and kiting the mobs until time runs out, kill ranged monsters when you can. Have a fighter mock the mobs w/ a speed scroll on and run around w/ them. If you die wait out the 2mins before you accept rev or if you dont get revived just wait the full 2mins.

Mean Giant Honeying

Level Requirement: 40 – 50
Number of Participants: 10
Time Limit: 30 Minutes
Lives: 3
Frequency: Every Hour

This kq map layout is exactly the same as slime kq. To beat it you have to kill all monsters. This is one of the hardest kqs to win. you only get 30mins, there are alot of mobs, and you only get 10 people. The best set up is 2 fighters, 2 cleric, rest DDs, have 1fighter and 1cleric in each pt. Most people should have buffs and t3 scrolls if you want to win.
Have the tanks gather large groups of mobs and aoe them. You have to do everything really fast. Just know your limit as tank. Dont pull too many where you would lose aggro, or die. This will cause big chunk of time to fix.
This kq is best for just getting the exp for kills, and completing quests, dont look too much into trying to beat it unless you really know what your doing.
If you are going for win, its best to split the parties, 1pt go each direction when you get to the circular floors. This saves alot of time. When you get to the boss, 1st clear out all the shadow honeyings. After they are dead have the tank go get giant honeying, have another fighter mock the shadow honeying spawns off main tank, and DDs switch thier attention over to them, then go back to main honeying. After giant honeying and all shadows are dead you win the KQ.
KQ quests(obtained from shutian in eldy):
1)Kill 15 Dirty Mushroom, 15 Hungry Boogy, 15 Madness Ratman, 15 Crazy Fox (47,300 EXP, 225 Fame, 9s 900c)
2)Kill 10 Big Bone Imp, 10 Poison Prock, 5 Brutal Wolf, 10 Cruel Bat (50,800 EXP, 287 Fame, 14s 100c)
3)Kill 1 Giant Honeying, 15 Shadow Honeying (114,400 EXP, 600 Fame, 30s 600c)
Rewards:
* 30,400 EXP
* Lvl 50 blue Weapon/Shield (very rare, you get blue according to what class you are when you get chest, mage gets mage blue.)
* T3 Mats
* T3 scrolls
* T3 Potions
Lost Mini Dragon

Level Requirement: 46 – 60
Number of Participants: 15
Lives: 3
Time Limit: 50 minutes
Frequency: Every 2 hours

This KQ you have to kill all the mini bosses and the Mini Dragon to win. Run straight, run past all the mobs, and then get the werebear and pull it to the graverobber spawn point. Then kill it, when you do the robber will spawn along w/ alot of mobs. Pull robber and run past mobs, to Robo’s Spawn point. Kill him then Robo and alot of mobs will spawn. Then pull robo to ggk’s spawn point and kill him. Robo Deals Mdmg w/ his skill and also can cause fear. When robo dies, ggk will spawn, and the hallway behind him will spawn alot of monsters. GGK has an aoe attack that can cause stun. Just pull him up the hallway a bit and kill him. After he dies MD will spawn.
MD has a is very hard to kill. He has a bunch of attacks.
-normal attack: does low physical damage, can cause fear.
-Stomp: Deals moderate physical damage, hits nearby people.
-Fire breath: Deals high Mdmg, hits all nearby frontal people.
-Jump: Deals high Mdmg, hits all surrounding targets to about 15m, when he starts to fly everyone but tank, should back up.
Have a fighter or cleric with 3k+ hp and good def/Mdef tank (best if tank has t3vit/t3 def/t3 Mdef scrolls on). You need to have 2-3tanks for this. You can do it w/ 1, but it can be hard. When one tank gets feared, have another one mock and kick. All mages/archers attack MD, back up when he starts flying. If you a fighter who cannot tank MD its best to stand back, you can either mock the mobs that he spawns or help kill them w/ others. MD will spawn several monsters while fighting. He has 4regens i believe. He will do the regens when his hp reaches a certain %. and will regen a set amount of hp back. After his last regen, when he is almost dead he will start spawning werebears. when this happens either main tank or another tank mock them, then kill MD and kite them until you get success message.
*After you kill MD, ores will spawn where you can get different teir of mats, also have chance of getting MD rings.

Lost Mini Dragon (Hardcore)

Level Requirement: 46 – 60
Number of Participants: 15
Lives: 3
Time Limit: 50 minutes
Frequency: Every 2 hours
Same strategy as normal MD, just everyone should use t3 scrolls, and most people should be 50+
the monsters have higher hp/sp and increase in all stats, and also have much faster attack rate.
The MD in this kq, seems to use aoe less, but since it has faster attack rate so higher chance of fear. Might need 3 tanks.
Quests CANNOT be completed on MD HC.
Rewards:
* 52,800 exp
* Mini Dragon Tear Earrings (+2% crit/+1%aim/+100hp)(+2% crit/+1%aim/+100sp)(+2% crit/+1%evasion/+100hp)(+2% crit/+1%evasion/+100sp)(+2% crit/+1%aim/+100hp/+100sp)(+2% crit/+1%evasion/+100hp/+100sp)
* Mini Dragon Protecion Earrings(Very rare, higher chance in HC) (+2% crit/+1%aim/+1%evasion/+100hp/+100sp)(+2% crit/+2%aim/+1%evasion/+100hp/+100sp)(+2% crit/+2%aim/+2%evasion/+100hp/+100sp)
* Enhanced lv60 equips
* Lucky Xir (3), Blessed Lix (3)
* T3 Potions
* T3 scrolls
Spider’s Assault

Level Requirement: 60 – 70
Number of Participants: 15
Time Limit: 35 minutes
Lives: 8
Frequency: Every Hour

This kq has same layout as robo. To win you must either kill GS or survive until runs out. It is much easier then robo because there are alot more aoes available and stuff. From start of kq run straight to a room. Then camp there killing any monsters that spawn and come in room. Stay in this room until you have killed the 4 graverobber. After that go back to middle. Stay here and kill all the things that spawn. the Ultra spider start spawning soon after, they hit hard, but give large amounts of exp each. At ~5:30 left GS will spawn in middle. From here you can have someone run around w/ GS and dont attack until time runs out or kill it.
If you go for the kill, then there are a few strategies.
*Note* That most people lag really bad when fighting gs due to the large amounts of mini spiders spawned.
1) just kill as fast as possible, have all people stand on top of GS, and spam Aoes until dead.
2) Kill GS, and have a few people kite around the spawns.
3) Kill GS slow, once GS spawns something pull them away from gs, kill, and repeat.
KQ quests(obtained from town chief in uru):
1)Kill 5 Fighter Spiders, 5 Violent Spiders, 5 Speedy Spiders, 5 Cannibal Spiders (359,900 EXP, 696 Fame, 44s 600c)
2)Kill 10 Merciless Greenky, 10 Fierce Spiders, 1 Madness Grave Robber, 10 Ultra Spider (885,300 EXP, 1,870 Fame, 130s 900c)
3)Kill 1 Great Spider, 15 Mini Spiders (1,114,500 EXP, 2,006 Fame, 146s 500c)
Rewards:
* 114,500 EXP
* 5-8 stacks of 30, T2/3 Materials
* 10 x T4 Scrolls
* 10 x T4 potions
* lv70 blue weapon/shield(very rare, not 100% confirmed either)
King Kong Phino’s Mess

Level Requirement: 70-79
Number of Participants: 15
Time Limit: 50 minutes
Lives: 3
Frequency: Every Hour

This kq layout is similar to MD kq. To beat it, you must kill all 4 mini bosses and kkp. Keep Running forward until you find mara. Then pull her to marlone’s spawn point and kill her. Then marlone will spawn along w/ alot of mobs. Get marlone and pull him to ghost slimes spawn. Kill him, and ghost slime will spawn with other mobs. Pull ghost slime to robo’s spawn point and kill it. Ghost slime has an AoE, and he deals alot of Mdmg. When he is dead, robo+mobs will spawn. Pull robo to the area before kkps spawn. He does Mdmg w/ skill attack and it causes fear. After he is dead mobs will spawn behind you, and in front of you. Have someone gather the mobs and kill them. Then pull kkp back to a wall.
*Note* DO NOT attack the phinofly, she does insane Mdmg and if she dies, you fail kq, if someone aggros it, pull it away, and die.
kkp has a few attacks:
-stomp: does moderate physical damage.
-Trip and fall?: this does moderate physical damage to those near it
-super jump: like MD’s jump, it does high damage to all withing like 12m
He will regen like MD does, he also has 4 i believe. He will also spawn mobs at certain times. Just aoe them, when they get close to the DDs have a fighter mob them and then kill them. Make sure the mages are using stifle on it, it helps alot. Just keep doing damage. When he is near dead, he will spawn a mara+marlone, when he does that have a fighter lure them away. Then when he is @ like 2% hp, he will spawn a robo, just have someone kite him until kkp dies. When kkp is dead, you will win the kq.
KQ quests(obtained from town chief in uru):

Evil Spirit Gordon Master

Level Requirement: 80-89
Number of Participants: 20
Time Limit: 50 minutes
Lives: 5
Frequency: Every 2 Hours

To beat this KQ you need to kill the Gordon master boss. from start, run forward and kill everything. Acquire the Endless Maze Key from them. then open the door at the left side. Go to the back of this room, and talk to the hero npc, he will give long speech, and drop items.
Acquire the following items: Hero’s Sword, Ruby of Truth and Spirit Crystal from the hero.
*Note* You can kill the hero by aoeing, it will not affect kq by killing him.
Then mobs will spawn in this room, kill them and Acquire Key 2. Then open the door at the right side.
Proceed to the room near the top, you will see a golem in this room. Clear the room, but do NOT kill the stone golem yet. The golem is required to break the wall. The person who has the Spirit Crystal should click the golem, then pull him to wall. The golem may be killed after the wall has been broken. Then go forward and pull gordon from the room, and start attacking him. He has an aoe so squishy people stand back.
He will teleport to random location on map 4 times when his hp reaches a certain %.
*Note* the person that has the Ruby of Truth needs to stand near GM or he will be invisible and unable to target. The person with the Hero’s Sword needs to be near him or he will be invincible(unable to be damaged).
*Note* If the person with the crystal,eye, or sword dies out or d/cs they will drop the item they had where they last stood.
After you deal enough damage he will teleport somewhere on the map, and leave a few ghosts behind. The person w/ spirit crystal needs to right click it each time GM disappears and teleports, so everyone can see him on their maps. Go to where he is @ and start killing him again. You have to do this a few times. Then when he is dead you win the kq.

Henneath Rebellion War
Level Requirement: 90-99
Number of Participants: 20
Time Limit: 50 minuets
Lives: 3
Frequency: every 2hrs

This kqs map objective/layout is the same as king slime. Attack and kill everything on the floor to move up and then kill the boss. The monsters in this kq are like the ??? in abysses. They are human and of each class. The 3rd floor has harder versions of the npcs lv 1xx. The boss is a fighter.
Mage: The mages can use all skills at like 15.0m range or more. They have skill list of Fireball,ice blast, magic burst, and mana burn. They mana burn ALOT and can full drain a 90 mage. it sees they can use purge also.
Archer: The archer are longer then 15.0m range. Their skill list consist of power shot, aimed shot, poison, bone shot(bleed), and venomous shot(disease).
Fighter: The fighters use 2h or 1h/shield weapons. Their skill list for 2h was precise attack,devastate,fatal slash. The 1h fighter skill list include slide and dice,devastate, aimed strike. the fighters use devastate ALOT, so when fighting more then 1 you can get chain stunned XD
Cleric: The cleric are the weakest of them all. Their skills are heal, bash. They can heal each other and other monsters there.
The Boss
We only had 6 people while doing our kq. The boss spawns archers > mages > archers/mages/cleric. We had 3fighter,2mage,1cleric. We just kited boss until after last spawn and then killed it. Then took the spawns slowly.

This kq is really different from all others. The person with the most points wins.
-Points are gained by getting kills(the higher the place the person you killed is in, the more points you get)
-If you die you lose points
*Note* If you go below 5000points you will NOT receive any exp or item rewards! (i think 0kills and 16deaths is limit for that)
There are chests that spawn @ start of kq, then spawn 1min 30sec after the hammer is picked up. there are 2 things that can be found in these chests:
-Invincible Hammer: makes you run like 25% faster, and allows you to kill anyone in 1 hit. The speed effect does stack with speed scrolls.
-Frozen Ice: Make you trapped in ice for 10sec but also keeps you safe from hammer and any other attacks. when you use ice it will fully restore your hp. If you are stunned or feared, using an ice will end the stun.
Here is some strategies i have came up with to help you win:
-If you know you wont get 1st-3rd place, or you are dying alot, try staying dead for 2mins on ground.
-Hotkey the hammer/ice.
-Always keep an ice on your for emergencies.
-Kill people who are weaker in the kq for easy/fast points.
-Killing people in higher places yield more points ten people in lower places. so killing 1st-3rd place is best.
-when chests spawn, go for them. if you find someone opening a chest you can kill them, or spam item pick up to attempt to steal their drop.
-when you get hammer, dont be picky with who you kill, go for who ever is closest and kill them. dont worry about that guy who pwned you last kq and run around searching for them…
-When having the hammer, its not suggested you blindly run into big group of people.
-Its best to keep distance from fighters, they will stun you, which can be very bad.
-Try to ks people, see 2 people fighting? help attack the weaker one, and get last hit.
-before kq starts, use your scrolls and get buffed.
Class specific:
Fighter:
-Want to stun guy with hammer? try use charge instead of deva, because of its low animation time.
-when you have hammer, try using stun on people running away.
-pre lv 8x pvp kq, best to go after the mages ;-;
Cleric:
-make sure to always have full hp, n spam heal yourself.
-If you want to try and kill someone, go for the squishy mages, or maybe an archer.
-when you get hammer, use an invincible on yourself before equipping hammer.
-also have your wep on action bar, and switch quickly to use heal on yourself in tight spots.
Archer:
-Always keep distance from everyone.
-Always run around kiting people.
-attack other archers and mages. Attack squishy fighters too.
-not sure if it will work, but when you get hammer use natures speed.
Mage:
-Always keep distance from everyone.
-Always run around kiting people.
-Attack fighters and archers.
-when you get hammer, you can use ice/fear on people to slow them down and kill them.
