When we talk About Stats we mean the Free Stat Points that you earn every level or in the job change, those Stats are :

STR : Increase Damage, Bonus every 5 Levels (+1).
DEX : Increase Aim and Evasion.
END : Increase Defense, Block Rate (Shield) And Maximum HP.
INT : Increase Magic Damage.
SPR : Increase Magic Def, Critical Rate and Maximum SP.

Now you wonder, What Stats a Figther Uses? Figthers are natural Meele so INT its useless since they dont use magic, and even if some people try it Evasion wasn’t made for them too ; Figthers were made to ENDURE and DEAL DAMAGE for no other purpose so the Main Stats Figthers Uses are

STR : Increase Damage by 1, Every 5 points add one extra

Example : If you have 5 points in STR you get +6 instead +5 Damage.

END : Increase Health by 5, Defense by 0.5 and block rate 0.1% (1~50 points then rate drop to the half 0.05% after 51 points)

Example : If you have 51 END points you will have 5.05% Block Rate instead 5.1%

SPR : Increase SP by 5, Magic Defense by 0.5 and Critical Rate 0.2% (1~25 points then rate drop to the half after 26 points to 0.1% ; however the rate drops again to the half after 62 points again to 0.05%)

Example : If you have 26 SPR points you will have 5.1% Critical, if you have 62 SPR points yo will have 8.55% Critical rate.

With the Stats Set You might have an idea of what you want right? Well here are some builds some are popular, other people dont rather them

The Damage Dealer (Full STR): It’s a common build that you will see all the time, Its the Damage Dealer a figther that can easily slice his enemies with his big damage, you will see him usually wearing an Axe or a 2h, Both weapons of high damage and critical rate.

Uses : Solo, Duos.

Weapons that uses : Two-Handed Swords, Axes

Side note : Even with his low hp and def at the beginning the DD its a fast leveler and farmer.

The PvP/PvE Damage Dealer (25 SPR, Rest STR): This build take the idea of the original Damage Dealer but at the beginning of his quest he rather put his first points in SPR to increase his critical rate that later will help him a lot ; One of the best builds for those that cant get Sparkcash it’s this one, the extra rate of crit make you in the highest levels a deadly machine of damage because your crits will be more oftenly then the original Damage Dealer build (Assuming both dont have Sparkcash). Its called PvP because will give you an extra defense against Mages and PvE against Magic Monsters

Uses : Everything.

Weapons that uses : Same as the DD

Side Note : You will lose +30 Damage that ignore def for 5% of "luck" of getting a critical for the double of your damage so this build its not good for starters.

The Tank (Full END): Another common build in people that likes to see a long number on his health and another one on his def, The tank role its to keep the attention of the monsters on him so the Archers and Mages can kill them without being worried about their health, a very complicated build but at high level can be very tough to defeat even in PvP.

Uses : Everything.

Weapon that Uses : One handed Sword and Shield (Some of them rather Axes i’ll explain that later).

Side note : Those who pick this build have to learn how to tank and treat clerics in the right way (Don’t be one of those "Tanks" that blame the cleric when you lack of the skill of tanking, 90% of the Clerics DO their job)

The Maximum Tank (25 SPR, Rest END): This build takes the idea from the original tank but at the beginning add 25SPR to get more critical and magic def (In the KQ’s all the bosses have a magic atack with 25 points on SPR you should endure it easier) besides with the extra critical sometimes you would be able to hold the attention without mocking that much (Just sometimes).

Uses : Everything

Weapons that uses : One handed Sword and Shield, Axe.

Side Note : Thanks to the Extra Magic Def this build got can tank some of the hardest bosses in game with an Axe because the Magic atack will be the one that will hit for that much. At any rate this build isnt for beginners either.

The Ultimate Figther (25 SPR, 50 END, Rest STR): The first hybrid, this uncommon build gathers the idea of a DD that can tank, making it a deadly option for some players that have been in the game for a long time and have access to weapons and gears with good options on them.

Uses : EVERYTHING

Weapons that uses : All the Weapons

Side note : This build isnt for startes just for Players that can afford it, you could try it but its very expensive one.

The Hybrid (STR X END X): The most common are STR 1 END 2, STR 1 END 1 and STR 2 END 1, but my gamming experience had always tell me that hybrids arent good for some reasons ; i’ll name some of these reasons :

-They Got Less that any of the pure builds (Less HP then Tank and Less Damage then DD)

-Very Expensives to Build, you will have to afford gears that fix their weakness (Mostly END/STR)

-Dont Have a Real "role" on any party… a Tank can be far superior in the tanking role and a DD can easily kill the double that him.

Uses : Can’t find uses for this one

Weapons that uses : Any weapons "suits" it

Side Note : Not a very good build….

The Weapons

Maybe the figther it’s the only class in game that can use 3 kinds of weapons, that could give you some advantages and some disvantages, so lets discuss the weapons :

The One Handed Sword: A short sword that its used in one hand, the use its mostly to add effects on bosses or big pulls while defending with shield.

Advantages: Got the faster atack speed against the Two Handed Sword and the Axe and highest aim then both too, Plus you can use a Shield in the other hand that will improve your defense, magic defense and will give you a certain chance to block an atack or atacks.

Disvantages: Low Damage, Low crit rate (Maximum 6%, average 5%, Blues 7%)

Builds that use this weapons:

-The Tank
-The Maximum Tank
-The Ultimate Figther
-The Hybrid

The Two Handed Sword: The weapon of the Knights with fast atack speed and average damage and critical i must say its my favorite when comes to Solo, Duo or just Winning Bosses on KQ’s.

Advantages: More damage then the One handed Weapon (x2.3 or so) More critical (Average 6%, Maximum 7%, Blues 8%) Average Atack Rate.

Disvantages: Less Aim then One handed Sword, You lose the shield defense, magic defense and Block Rate.

Builds that uses this weapon:

-The DD
-The PvP/PvE DD

The Axe: The weapon of the Barbarians with the maximum damage on figther weapons and critical, usually figthers rather this weapon.

Advantages: The Best Damage you will find in Weapons, the Best critical too (Average 7%, Maximum 8%, Blues 9%).

Disvantages: The Slowest Atack rate you will ever find, the poor aim it got, you also lose the shield.

Builds that Uses this Weapon:

Almost All Builds uses this weapon but 50% of the people that use it in END builds uses it in the wrong way.

The Skills

I bet you are thinking "What do i have to learn here? Figthers just spam skills and win! this guy its a joke", well my lilttle friend you are Completly WRONG… have you ever tried to kill a 50 DEX Build Archer with an axe and no aim scroll? no blue axe.. no bellow knight axe… ~cough~ KIDMONS

Now you dont feel that "Allmighty" right Mr Barbarian? Well sit down and read this guide to learn something about figthers

For a long time meele class have been the best choice in all the games but so far i havent seen the first one that "Spam skills", not in Mu, not in Lineage not in Silkroad and NO… not in Fiesta… Skills got an Order and Effect and a Time of use… you cant expect facing a Mage and use "Bone Slicer" on it… oh wait… that could be useful… If mages were Meele… but they arent.

The Point its That when you are working Skills you need to See what skills will you empower and why? all depends on the build, here are some tips :

If You are going to be a DD :

After level 20:

Empower Power Hit CoolDown and Damage to the Maximum (10 Points) ; Power hit will be your common atack and the one that makes biggest damage for a while.

Empower Devastate CoolDown, Effect and Damage to the Maximum (15 Points) ; You will have enough time to save for this skill and trust me will be one of your best weapons later, if you dont have all the points for level 43 just max the effect and cooldown and wait for the other five points to maximize damage.

After level 60:

Empower Precise Attack CoolDown to the Maximum (5 Points) ; Maybe some people think its "useless" to do this because got a long Cooldown, but trust me in the middle of a battle you will be grateful to use it more oftenly because got a good damage like Power hit and (for now) never have failed for me.

Side note : I have seen (Dont know if it’s my imagination or stuff) that after using Precise Attack my figther gets Berserker and hits faster (The description says +30% atack rate maybe its that, maybe its my imagination)

Now you can Either Empower Vitality Cooldown and Effect, or save your points for Next Cap Raise Skills your choice, but Vitalityits a Good Option if you like to PvP and for KQ’s.

If you are going to be a Tank:

After level 20:

Empower Power Hit Cooldow (5 Points)

Empower Devastate Effect and Cooldown (10 Points)

Empower Mock Cooldown (5 Points)

After Level 60:

Empower Precise Attack CoolDown (5 Points)

Empower Vitality Cooldown and Effect (10 Points)

Mock will be your main Weapon, so the faster you empower the Cooldown to it the better you will be in KQ’s, try to combo it with Snearing Kick and Devastate and Monsters will never leave you be (Unless they fear you… only exception) Tanks dont need to Empower the Damage on their Skills, Vitality helps them win that damage for a longer time but if you want to add Damage just add one or two points to Precise and Power (Adding to Devastaste dont Add too much, trust me im a DD and i know it).

If you are an Ultimate Figther Build:

After Level 20:

Empower Damage and Cooldown on Powerhit (10 points)

Empower CoolDown and Effect on Devastate (10 Points)

Empower Mock CoolDown (5 Points)

After Level 60:

Precise Attack/Accurate Strike Maximum Cooldown on BOTH (10 Points)

If there are still some points Empower Vitality Effect and Cooldown (Effect First) (10 Points)

The Gears
So are you wondering "what about the gears… i just get the highest END i can on them and that’s it" well you are failing again…. END it’s not the only stat that figthers like in their gears…. what about if you get to fight a mage…? he will just clean the floor with you ya know… your magic def will be like what? +250 as much? and that if you are 80+… sadly but true… i have seen 85+ Figthers with less SP then me (lvl 73 Figther) and even if they extend their hp a lot… the mages will just kill them fast enough… they simply cant endure the magic damage… so let’s begin

If you like to PvP a lot and Solo a lot END/DEX or END/SPR on gears should be a good option for any of the Damage Dealers build, will improve not only your HP, will improve also your evasion and aim if you pick DEX or your magic def and your SP (No… Spirit in gears WONT improve your critical.. that’s just in free stats), some other people rather STR/END on their gears…. but STR dont increase that much damage (Even in highers levels 120 more of damage… dont sound "that" great…).

Some END builds rather to improve their other stats (I have seen a lot of figthers that are SC users, it means they use xtenders and charms and some of them even SC pots) buying STR/DEX STR/SPR or DEX/SPR stuff, you must see that when you are buying the main stat that you want its higher then the other (Here’s an example try to halve the level of the equipament and that will give you the number of the max stat, example if its a lvl 88 pant max stat will be 44 Points extra on them)

Some items as the Pants and the armor can carry a maximum of 3 stats on them, the helm and the boots can only have two maximum stats on them… the stats in the weapon are important too because they could give you an extra bonus of END and SPR that will improve yourself a lot.

Jewelry?
The Earrings and the rings you wear will improve your stats too, so try to find the best you can afford, a best option till 53 its to find some Sign of Mara with 40/40 or some Dark Robo Earrings 80/80 or 70/70 both will help you till you can afford or find the MD earrings of Protection (Doesnt matter if they arent perfect…. i havent felt stronger just for 10 more in evasion and aim…) The rings you should use i highly recommend the Bosses ones… usually are good stated, sadly are rare… but hey! you are a figther! get to the level and hunt the boss a few times till you got the rings you need, dont forget to get a cleric and a Ranged DD for the job  remember Clerics are our best friends.

The Best Rings for figthers are END/SPR, END/DEX, STR/END. after 70.. some people like to use just END rings…. i’ll skip the "why" isnt good to do it…. because there are other rings that could be useful too like the rare Jewel Keeper Ring or the Uber Godly Shinning Ring of Uruga (But still i’ll keep my old GoC END/SPR till they fix TR :P and i get GH END/SPR rings or GM END/SPR rings from Guardian Holy Shrine).

Basic Terms of Figther Use
/Some of them are from DotA… but it will work here too)
Aggro : It means aggression, figthers are natural bags of hate for the mobs… they inspire hate to their enemies so they feel inspired to atack JUST that target (Example, when you use mock you are "mocking" of the monsters… yeah you do… or Hate Aura from Dark Avenger in Lineage 2… its an aura that inspire Hate on the monster so they feel in the need to attack you)

Main Tank : It means the first of the two tanks that will tank (most of the time) a KQ boss

Secondary Tank : When the first tank gets killed or feared this dude its the one that take his place, usually its near the first one to take the aggression back to him instead the clerics or the ranged DD’s

B! : In DotA means "Back" you could use it here too to let know your party or group or cleric…. to stay back… that’s because you couldnt handle the amount of monsters or you are facing an enemy with such big AoE Stun skill

AoE : Area of Effect, it means a skill that got a range of effect for it (Example Devastate, just affect the enemies that surrounds you even if they are in your back, just ten of them sadly).

CD : here should be CT… but CD its the right word… it means Cooldown and its the time you have to wait till you can use a certain skill again.

The Solo

It means that the figther it’s alone, kill the monster by himself and most of the time he dont want a support. Mostly used to work a license or just to hunt bosses in the dungeons to get the weapons or jewerly just for you.

Side Note : If you are going to solo you will need hp pots to handle yourself sometimes and killing one by one could be faster then pulling a big train and try to kill 6-7 mobs at the same time.

The Duo

There are 3 Kinds of Duo….

The Figther/Cleric Duo : The most common duo, clerics are figthers best friends so dont be surprised if you see one always asking you for Party ; the idea of this duo its to kill fast mobs without losing the "aggro" to the cleric, the best idea its to devastate first and then mock the targets when they move a little, remember always to tell the cleric to stay as far as he can for you so he wont be in danger unless off course you die….

The Figther/Mage Duo : One of the fearsome duos after 60…. you will see this pair of powerful characters pulling big amounts of monster and then killing them that easily.. even if the figther dont have a cleric with him he got a lot of endurace (this kind of duos use a Figther Tank Build) to endure the pain and to keep the "aggro" while the mage uses his AoE skills to get rid of the mobs without being in danger most of the time.

The Fighter/Archer Duo : After 51 Archers become very useful and its a wonderful idea to try this stragegy with them… let the archer run and get a large amount of mobs with his new AoE poison… he should use an evasion scroll for this so monster wouldnt be able to touch him and then when he get the amount he want he will just go and meet his friend the figther that will take the "aggro" from him and use his own AoE to stun the monster and let the poison slowly kill them… very deadly if both characters got good builds and weapons.

The Trio

Isnt faster and funnier when you can share a big quality time with awesome people? then the Trio its the best idea ever… you only need A) A Tank (prolly you) B) A Cleric (to keep both you and he/she alive) and C) A Ranged DD (till 51 i highly rather mages but 51-60 archers are the best idea ever) you can use this awesome group for everything… Dungeon Hunts, AoE Abyss Parties, Fast Questing and my favorite… KQ’s… why would i need Five? when 3 its the answer to all my problems! (Someday when you get higher and you realize that not many do King Kong Phino even for the mats you will see why Trio > All)

Full Party
Yeah.. even so the Exp rate will go down and even if you say "Its faster" trust me… 3 could do the same as 5 just with the right stragegy and the required amount of mobs.. so only get to a Full Party if you are going to a KQ (Mostly of the time its useful because of the full bonus, cleric buffs you know…. THAT) but outside it… unless you are going to start a Battle Royal in abyss or you get a Guild War… i highly recommend just to keep the Full Parties for some hard dungeons (like Trumpy Remains and Guardian Holy Shrine) and KQ’s

Why Should i work a License?

The Question isnt that one… the question its WHY arent you working a license yet?

There are a large amounts of licenses in Isya, you will see some kind of mobs that lack of them tho, even some bosses got a license, so you are wondering… what’s a license right?

A License its a title that gives you some Advantage when you are fighting the monster that got the name in the license (Example Harkan License, your weapon will do more damage to the monster called "Harkan") but it’s that useful? well when you complete certain ranges of the licenses you could get a crit bonus (After 40% you get 1%, 50 you get 2% and that way till 80% that you get 5%… it’s the maximum level of license for now) but that isnt all… no no… lets tell them what also you win.. you win EXTRA DAMAGE against the mob (Starting with 15% more) ; It’s that all? that lame you say? no no my friend you havent understood the real mean of the license… imagine you are a Scroll maker… and you are in the very very very very (Did i said very?) need of that kind of mats… but wait.. you got two licenses! let’s say you got a Werebear License and a Harkan License… arent the kind of that mobs "Beast" and "Summoned Beast"? Now you are getting the point dont you? Not yet!? Let me explain myself then… both monster are the kind of monster that drop scroll for the materials…. oh i know what you are thinking "I could kill them also without the license" yeah…. but imagine you could make 50% more damage on those monsters… so more damage = Less time to kill one = more time to kill more = More MATS you will get and in less time… now you get it? with just working a single license of one monster you could farm over 15 or 16 stacks of some items or even more.. who knows…. remember always to seek two things… if the monster its easy to kill, the kind of the monster (Beast, Human, Summoned Beast, Spirit) and if they got a good and lonely spot to hunt them when nobody can bother you… that’s all you need to know about licenses!

Production Skills

The Figther just need 2 things to keep himself in the best state : Scroll and Potions so both production skills are a MUST for any figther and making them by yourself its the best way to save money to afford gears and weapons, remember to have always another character to make stones and decomp that stuff you wont use/need for a while… also another character that comp could be useful sometimes too.

Final Tips

Figthers are the most powerful class in the game at the moment so if you pick this one you should get ready for stuff like Tanking or soloing, but remember fun it’s the point… dont start a war or a fight just because someone else its bothering you ; figthers live with HONOR so dont let them see you explode with their childish attitude, remember always to listen and wait for the moment to attack, clerics are your best friends, if you can have access to CS items remember always to focus on outfits that give you high Critical (dont waste your time in 5%… aim for 10% and more!!!)

Inspirations and Gratitudes

I would like to Thank my two inspirations to make this guide : Seras Guide and Mercurial PvP guide, both were very useful to me to develop this guide so thanks a lot you both! your game experience inspired this figther to make his own guide!

Gratitudes to Zues8844 my partner in the crime of being so sexeh hahaha and my business partner also… that pushed me a lil to make this guide after seeing his lately works. Thanks a lot Zues8844
