Notice that some people had attempted a guide to enhancing and that they all seemed a little off, so I took the time to make this thread.

Hope this helps ^^

Why should I even bother enhancing?

Enhancing (not enchanting as it’s sometimes misspelled) increases the damage on your weapons and increase the defense on your armor (*side note here: yes! you can enhance your pants, boots, hats, and armor as well as your weapons XD). The higher the plus on your enhanced item, the better the increase will be.

*Edit*INCREASE IN CRITICAL HIT RATE – The critical rate increase on weapons is given at the completion of a license. *Edit*

Where do I get stones?

Answer here: ME! lol, point here is people make and sell them and the great thing is (in Elderine at least) 95% of all the stone sellers are right in front of the Smith ^^

Types of stones?

There are two types of stones (other than the regular white ones). Those are blessed and lucky. Simply put blessed stones are less likely to cause any weapon breakage (although that isn’t to say that they stop it) and lucky stones have a higher chance of increasing by +2 instead of just +1.

What’s with Teir and Weapon Levels?

Now this is tricky (not really) stones need to match the weapon/armor level they are being used on. So a t2 sword needs a t2 elrue/lix/xir.

Alright, How do I do it?

Step 1: Get plenty of stones. You’ll need to get elrue, lix, and xir and preferably the blessed kind.

Step 2: Once you have stone go to the Smith and select Refine item. Here you’ll see a new screen with 8 boxes in a circle around a center one.

Step 3: Place the item you wish to enhance in the center box and place 1 elrue in one of the circled boxes. You get to guess here. You might (most likely) will pick the wrong one. Keep this up til your at +3, then switch to lix until the item is +6, then go to xir. That’s enhancing in a nutshell XD

OMG my weapon is gone, ***?

You broke it. There are two risks to enhancing:
-> Item losing a plus (i.e. goes from +4 to +3)
-> Item is broken (higher you go the more likely this is)

Why do I need Eyes and Miles, that just sounds dumb ?

-> Red Eyes: Stops the item from breaking during enhancement.
-> Blue Miles: Stops the item from de-enhancement (-1, or -2)
**you have to buy these from the outspark store**

Everyone wants the +9 weapons and armor because they are very good and worth a lot, however it’s really hard to succeed in getting them to that stage without miles and eyes.
