Intro

Well I’ve decided that after all the time I’ve spent playing the archer class on this game that it is finally time to share my knowledge with the archer population of Fiesta in hopes of teaching you all a bit about arching. In this guide I am going to tell you everything I know about the Archer class, how to be successful in parties as well as soloing. I will also give tips on PvP as well as PvE. I will explain empowerments, and I will give builds. If something about archers were to change I will keep this guide updated, so when ever you check back it will always be up to date. Last everything that is here is based on my own experiance and what I have found to work the best.

Table of Contents

1. Why Archers?
2. Builds
3. Empowerments
4. Bow Verses Cross Bow
5. Natures Protection
6. PvE
7. PvP

Chapter 1: Why Archers?

Archers are the ‘Jack of All Trades’ type of class like I have mentioned before in my other guide on AoE. We are can take any role of any class (except clerics). You can be a Damage Dealer, deadly in PvP inflicting damage on targets. You can be DPS (Damage Per Second) and master your poisons causing increased damage on single targets wearing them down quicker then any other class can. You can also tank, being the center of the fight dodging and taking hits better then some fighters if you are committed to the task.

We can do it all, other classes’ aren’t like archers, sure a Mage can tank, and some fighters do more damage then archers, but one thing stands true. No class can do it all like an Archer can.

Chapter 2: Builds

Cause Archers are so talented and able to take the roles of most of the classes its not surprising at all that they have really complicated builds most likely more options then all the classes. This is because we can utilize STR, END, DEX, and SPR when only Mages have INT/SPR and Clerics and Fighters have STR and END. I will puts a star rating from 1-5 stars (‘*’) on what I thing of the build so 5 being the best. This rating is the OVERALL rating, stars next to the areas it works best with only show what it is USED for and dose not necessarily make it a good build.

I have also added a 1-5 (‘*’) star rating for each area (Soloing, Partying, and PvP) based on the builds performance in those areas. High stars in Soloing means that the build is good for when there is no one around and you want to kill monsters by yourself, prioritizing loot and exp over team work. Partying performance will be based on whether the build works good in groups, if the stats work with the groups needs. Last PvP (Player Vs. Player) performance will be on how good the build is good in fighting other players.

Your Stat Points

STR (Strength)
Specs: +1.2 Physical Damage
STR is one of the most useful stats to Archers, it’s the base of half the builds and is what gives us our damage mostly for PvP and Soloing Archers.

DEX (Dexterity)
Specs: +0.2% Evasion Rate, after 50 points +0.1% Evasion Rate, +0.3% Aim Rate after 33 Points +0.2% Aim Rate after 67 +0.1% Aim Rate.
DEX is THE most useful stat for archers, I don’t care what other archers tell you, DEX is where we get deadly, and I will tell you why later.

END (Endurance)
Specs: +5 Hit Points, +0.5 Defense, +0.1% Block Rate after 50 +0.05% Block Rate
This is a fairly useless stat for archers, sure it adds Defense but what good is it when you can’t hold a shield?

INT (Intelligence)
Specs: +1.2 Magic Damage
Useless for archers, really it is, NEVER ever put this into any build it does nothing.

SPR (Spirit)
Specs: +0.2% Critical Rate after 25 points 0.1% Critical Rate after the 67th point changes to 0.05% Critical Rate.
This is an important stat to archers; usually put into all the builds this gives us those lucky criticals to finish opponents, good for any archer.

Gear Stat Points

STR- +1 Damage
DEX- +1 Evasion, +1 Aim
END- +5 Hit Points, +1 Defense
INT- +1 Magic Damage
SPR- +5 Spirit Points, +1 Magic Defense

Builds

Pure STR ****
Very simple build you will have extremely high base damage in the later levels and the points you put into STR never get reduced so in the later levels you will be able to kill most anything before it gets to you. Good for a beginner archer.
Soloing ***
Partying ****
PvP ****

Pure SPR **
This is a fair build but because SPR gets reduced as it goes on I wouldn’t recommend this one either. If you stick with SPR by level 50 you will have an extra 7.5% critical rate, and by 75 you will have a 10.05% critical. If you have high END/STR gears you will do fine
Soloing ***
Partying *****
PvP **

Pure DEX****
Very good build if you stick with DEX by level 50 you will have 10% extra evasion rate, and by 75 you will have 15% evasion rate. With high DEX/STR gears nothing will be able to hit you, but at 85+ this build is useless because of the BK weapons.
Soloing *****
Partying ***
PvP ****

Pure END
Yeah this build gets no stars…its sucks bottom line.
Soloing ***
Partying ***
PvP

25 SPR rest STR*****
The most common and basic build for archers every 1 out of 2 archers use this build. It’s the most flexible and can be used in any situation. This is by far the best build because of its simplicity. The 25 SPR gives you a 5% critical rate and the STR will give you good damage later on.
Soloing ****
Partying *****
PvP ****

25 SPR 25/50 DEX rest STR ****
This is the most complicated build, some people say that the DEX isn’t useful unless you really go high with it and I somewhat agree with that. If you do this build I suggest that you do go 50 DEX rather then 25 and then get the high DEX gears to make it worth while. I myself use this build and it works well for me.
Soloing ****
Partying ***
PvP *****

25 SPR rest DEX *****
This is a lot like the above build but there is no STR. This is a complicated build to its not that great but its not bad. I wouldn’t recommend it though
Soloing ***
Partying ***
PvP *****

25 SPR 50 END rest STR**
Ah END builds they aren’t great but they exist. You will be able to take a lot of punches with this build but you probably would rather dodge then get hit. This is a terrible PvP build and is really only good for grinding.
Soloing **
Partying ****
PvP **

25 SPR rest END *
This is possible the worst build out there if anyone uses it shame on you lol. You can tank with this build but…that’s all its good for. You will get chopped up in PvP. All that but you can out tank most fighters.
Soloing **
Partying ***
PvP *

Chapter 3: Empowerments

Here I will tell you what I recommend to empower. Not only am I going to tell you what I think you should empower first but also what to empower first according to what your playing style is like. I suggest the last one, because it works with all the builds and worked really well for me.

For Grinding People…
1st Full Cool Time on Multi-Shot, 2nd Full Damage on Multi Shot, 3rd Full Cool Time on Aimed Shot, 4th Full Cool Time on Nature’s Mist, 5th Full Cool Time on Piercing Shot, 6th Full Damage on Piercing Shot, 7th Full Damage on Power Shot, 8th Full Cool Time on Power Shot, 9th Full Damage on Aimed Shot.

For PvP People…
1st Full Cool Time on Aimed Shot, 2nd Full Damage on Power Shot, 3rd Full Damage on Aimed Shot, 4th Full Cool Time on Power Shot, 5th Full Cool Time on Natures Mist, 6th Full Cool Time on Piercing Shot, 7th Full Damage on Piercing Shot.

For those Who Like Both (Like Me)…
1st Full Cool Time on Aimed Shot, 2nd Full Cool Time on Multi-Shot, 3rd Full Damage on Power Shot, 4th Full Cool Time on Power Shot, 5th Full Cool Time on Nature’s Mist, 6th Full Cool Time on Piercing Shot, 7th Full Damage on Aimed Shot, 8th Full Damage on Piercing Shot.

Chapter 4: Bow Vs Cross Bow

This is a much debated topic for archers, really which one is better? Well I don’t think either one is better then the other until a certain point. Here is what I think.

Bows Lv.1-50

I think that archers should use bows all the way to level 50 at 51 you should switch to a Cross Bow. Why is this? Simple Damage, at levels 1-50 you only have one AoE Multi-Shot and you can only use that every 7 seconds, with full Cool Time its 4.9 Seconds. So your not going to be killing multiple targets as much as you will be killing single targets which is why the bow is better. You will get more out of your weapon because of the Bow’s higher Aim and faster attack speed.

Cross Bows Lv.51+

After 51 you now have the AoE Nature’s Mist it has a 6 second cool time and if you maximize the cool time empowerment it takes 3 seconds to re fire…wow. Now you can AoE one skill after the other non stop. This is why the Cross Bow is better at 51+ cause you do a lot more damage soloing and partying. Also in PvP you now have enough skills that if you are good enough you will always have one skill to fire causing maximum damage. So the extra attack speed is not needed anymore from the bow.

Chapter 5: Natures Protection

I know a lot of people that get confused about this skill. When I got it first myself I had no idea what to do either, but I will give you a step by step procedure on how to use it. Before I tell you though you need to know a couple rules about Nature’s Protection (NP), and know a bit about argo.

Aggravation or ‘Argo’ for short is the threat level a creature deems you. Say you launch a couple shots at a mob it will obviously attack you since you have raised its argo. Also with clerics when they heal a party member they gain argo because she is healing the current threat. If the cleric heals to much it will see the cleric as the more threatening target and attack him/her. That is argo.

Rules
- Mobs Must be in Circle of the NP Aura in order to have any effect
- Mobs Must have someone else to attack (ex. If you are soloing the monster it won’t leave you alone if you use it, someone else must be drawing argo.)
- Not as effective in large groups of mobs (15+)
-Useless in PvP, unless you think you can blind your opponent with it. IT IS SHINEY THOUGH!

Steps to Using Nature’s Protection

1. You must close distance to 1.5 meters within creature(s)
2. Cleric must be healing you/party member must be attacking same creature(s)
3. Use Nature’s Protection
4. Mobs will leave GOOD JOB!

Need To Be Carful

-If you are with a cleric, and you use NP the argo will switch and that monster(s) will attack the cleric. DON’T KILL YOUR CLERIC BUDDY!
-Basically only after the fighter has mocked do you use it, cause that will completely reset the argo on you.

Chapter 6: PvE

Ok here I will tell you how to fight creatures in both Solo and Party wise, as well as appropriated to your level. Also I will teach you a lesson on ‘Kiting’.

Kiting Is the technique that all archers must use to be good at any aspect of arching. Kiting is how we, solo, and PvP, and Party. Without it our strength and usefulness would be cut in half (not to mention we die easy without it). So it is really important. Kiting is basically poisoning a creature and simply running. By letting the poison do the work you don’t need to do much anything but give it the finishing shot.

Steps to Kiting
-Get 12 Meters away from target
-Fire Poisons while running (archers can fire ALL their poisons while on the move, so we never have to give up a precious meter to our enemies).
-Wait until Mobs health is ½ or below bar, if creature is tougher wait until poisons run out and refresh poisons.
-Fire Aimed Shot
-Fire Power Shot
-Dance on Mobs corpse

Soloing 1-19
Lv.3-4 Start at maximum range, fire Aimed Shot. If you can kill the mob let your auto-attack finish him off. If it’s a higher level creature though, do the same thing but after you fire aimed shot run until cool time is up and fire again, repeat till mob is dead.
Lv.5-10 Start at maximum range fire Power Shot/Aimed Shot then fire Aimed Shot/Power Shot. If you can kill the mob let your auto-attack finish him off. If it’s a higher level creature though, do the same thing but after you fire aimed shot run until cool time is up and fire again, repeat till mob is dead.
Lv.11-14 Start at maximum range, fire Fury Impact, Aimed Shot, run for a bit, fire Power Shot, Aimed Shot repeat until Mobs dead.
Lv.15-19 Start at maximum range, fire Bone Shot, Fury Impact, Aimed Shot, run for a bit, fire Power Shot, Aimed Shot, repeat until Mobs dead.

Soloing 20-40
Lv.20-40 (1 Target) Fire Bone Shot, Fury Impact, run until mobs health is under ½ Bar, fire Aimed Shot, Power Shot repeat until mobs dead. (Multiple Targets) Fire Multi-Shot on group, While running fire Bone Shot on 1 mob, switch mobs, fire Fury Impact, run until poisons wear off, fire Multi-Shot, Aimed Shot, Power Shot on same target. Repeat until all are dead. (I suggest you don’t do this, 1 at a time is better (if you do it though only attack 2-3 at a time))

Soloing 41-50
Lv.41-50 (1 Target) Fire Venomous Shot, Bone Shot, Fury Impact, run until mobs health is under ½ Bar, fire Aimed Shot, Power Shot repeat until mobs dead. (Multiple Targets) Fire Multi-Shot on group, Venomous Shot and Fury Impact on 1 mob, fire Bone Shot on another mob. When 1 of the poisoned mobs health is below ½ of bar fire Multi-Shot, Aimed Shot, Power Shot, repeat until all are dead, (again not recommended).

Soloing 51+ (This is Where the Fun Begins)
Lv.51-74 (1 Target) Fire Nature’s Mist (NM), Venomous Shot, NM, Bone Shot, Fury Impact, NM, if its still standing fire, Aimed Shot, Power Shot to finish. (Multiple Targets) Fire Multi-Shot (MS), NM, NM, MS, NM, (Integrate Venomous Shot, Bone Shot, Fury Impact into Combo) repeat until there are, 3 mobs or less finish with Aimed Shot, Power Shot, NM, MS.
Lv.75+ (1 Target) Fire NM, Piercing Shot (PS), Venomous Shot, NM, PS, Bone Shot, Fury Impact, NM, PS, repeat until almost dead, when ¼ or less finish with Aimed Shot, Power Shot, (do it right you wont even get hit). (Multiple Targets) Fire PS, fire NM, repeat until down to 3 mobs or less finish off with other skills while integrating NM and PS into combos.

Partying 20-50
Fire MS as often as possible on group of mobs, integrate other skills into combos.

Partying 51+
Lv.51-74 Fire NM, fire MS, fire NM, repeat until all mobs are dead, integrate skills when you get down to 5 mobs or less.
Lv.75+ Fire NM, PS repeat until down to 5 mobs or less, then integrate other skills to finish mobs. (At this level you should only be partying for quests, you should solo to get better EXP when grinding)

Chapter 7: PvP

Here I will tell you how to kill other classes when you meet in wars, or FBZs. This is going off of what I’ve experienced and it works well for me, it should work great for you.

Fighting Fighters
1-19 Get at maximum range, fire Aimed Shot, Bone Shot, Fury Impact, when Aimed Shot is cooled, fire Aimed Shot, Power Shot, run until Bone Shot and Fury Impact are cooled, fire Bone Shot, Fury Impact. If he/she isn’t dead by then you can kill them.
20-40 Get at maximum range try to get just far enough that you can hit him/her with the outer edge of MS, fire MS, Aimed Shot, Bone Shot, Fury Impact. When Aimed Shot is cooled, fire Aimed Shot, Power Shot, run until Bone Shot and Fury Impact are cooled, fire Bone Shot, Fury Impact, MS. If he/she isn’t dead by then you can’t kill.
41-50 Same thing as above, but use Venomous Shot before every Bone Shot.
51-74 Same thing with the 20-40 strategy, but fire NM before and after every MS and in between Poisons.
75+ Get just far enough so AoEs can hit fighter, Fire PS, NM, PS, Venomous Shot, PS, Bone Shot, Fury Impact, PS, NM, PS, use Natures Swiftness, fire Aimed Shot, Aimed Shot, Power Shot, PS. If that doesn’t kill him/her nothing will.

*Note about Range*
With fighters they…are overpowered we all know that. You need to be smart you REALLY need to make fighters pay for every inch they get closer, get the most out of every single meter as possible. Cause when the fighter stuns you its over. USE YOUR RANGE!

Fighting Mages
1-19 Fire your poisons, run for a bit, fire Aimed Shot, Power Shot, fire Aimed Shot again when cooled, repeat until dead.
20-40 Use MS, fire poisons run for a bit, fire MS, fire Aimed Shot, MS, Power Shot, Aimed Shot, MS repeat until dead.
41-50 Fire MS, Venomous Shot, Bone Shot, Fury Impact, Aimed Shot, run out of mage’s range until Aimed is cooled, fire MS, Aimed Shot, Power Shot, repeat until dead.
51-59 While running use NM, fire Venomous Shot, fire NM, fire Poisons, fire NM, fire Aimed Shot, fire Power Shot, fire NM, repeat until dead.
60-74 Fire NM, Venomous shot, NM, Fury Impact, Bone Shot, NM, use Natures Swiftness, Power Shot, Aimed Shot, Power Shot, NM. That will toast most mages.
75+ Use PS, and NM, repeat over and over, try to keep the mage out of range just enough so you can hit him/her with NM/PS, when his/her health is low finish with Aimed/Power Shot. If Mage uses Stiffle, fire PS and NM then use Natures Speed and mow him/her down with regular arrows.

*Note against Fear*
Fear can interrupt these combos, if the combo is interrupted with fear. Restart combo after fear is done (if your still alive) at least try to get the mage poisoned and if your almost dead after fear then use Power Shot and Aimed shot. You might get him/her.

Fighting Clerics
1-59 Clerics are tough. Use Aimed Shot, fire all poisons, if you have NM use it between skills as often as you can. When Aimed Shot is cooled, fire Aimed Shot, fire Power Shot, fire NM. With some lucky criticals you can take down clerics 5-10 levels below you.
60-74 Fire NM, Venomous Shot, NM, Bone Shot, Fury Impact, NM, Continue this for a minute, after that the cleric MIGHT lower his/her guard and just stop curing all together. When you have 3 poisons on the cleric then use Natures Speed, use Natures Swiftness, Power Shot, Power Shot, Aimed Shot, NM. If that doesn’t kill him/her nothing will. Also make sure to tell the cleric he/she is good if he/she can survive this lol.
75+ Same thing as above but use PS instead of NM, still use NM if you have no other skill to fire. Again if the cleric can survive he/she deservers a congratulation.

*Note on Clerics*
They aren’t invincible even though that’s been wired into your mind since level 1. They can be defeated you just need to use strategy and have good timing. I have killed a couple clerics my level and so can you.

Fighting Archers
1-19 Fire your poisons, run for a bit, fire Aimed Shot, fire Power Shot, fire Aimed Shot again when cooled, repeat until dead.
20-40 Use MS, fire poisons run for a bit, fire MS, fire Aimed Shot, fire MS, fire Power Shot, fire Aimed Shot, fire MS repeat until dead.
41-50 Fire MS, fire Venomous Shot, fire Bone Shot, fire Fury Impact, fire Aimed Shot, run out of mage’s range until Aimed is cooled, fire MS, fire Aimed Shot, fire Power Shot, repeat until dead.
51-59 While running use NM, fire Venomous Shot, fire NM, fire Poisons, fire NM, fire Aimed Shot, fire Power Shot, fire NM, repeat until dead.
60-74 Fire NM, Venomous shot, NM, Fury Impact, Bone Shot, NM, use Natures Swiftness, Power Shot, Aimed Shot, Power Shot, NM.
75+ Use PS, and NM, repeat over and over, try to keep the archer out of range just enough so you can hit him/her with NM/PS when his/her health is low finish with Aimed/Power Shot.

*Note on Fighting Archers*
Same strategy against mages, I’m not lazy. Try not to fight archers though, we need to stick together lol.

That’s It!

Well that’s everything I know about archers. Hopefully you can take my suggestions and builds and become a successful archer. I like to help so if you have ANY questions regarding Archers, or anything in the game don’t hesitate to Private Message me. Also any comments or suggestions on my guide I will look over as well.

Happy Arching,
-Ace01 (Lv.80 Supersonic Scout of Teva)
