.,;’*GODLY*’;,.
It is a term so many of us look for while searching for armor, weapons, and general items. Whether we are looking at the items stats, talking to the person, or seeing it posted on shops, this word attracts us to it. But what is "godly"? How do we tell if an item is truly "godly"? And how do we tell if this person just used the term as an advertising poster?
Welcome to the Godly Guide. Here I will tell you (and show you) what is "godly" and what is not, as well as explain why. First off, a lesson in stats, and what are desired for each class.
.,;’*STATS*’;,.
Str - Adds to Physical Damage
Dex - Adds to Aim %, and Evasion %
End - Adds to Defense, HP, and Block %
Int - Adds to Magical Damage
Spr - Adds to M Defense, SP, and Critical %[/b]
(Armors will not add Block % or Crit %)
~ Fighters ~
Str – Only desired for "dd" fighters, or in place of INT
Dex – Moderately desired (some might want it, others might not)
End – Highly desired
Int – Useless
Spr – Moderately desired (some might want it, others might not)
(*Some fighters may not have trouble with their Dex, or look for it but not in "godly" amounts)
~ Clerics ~
Str – Moderately desired (some might want it, others might not)
Dex – Moderately desired (some might want it, others might not)
End – Highly desired
Int – Useless
Spr – Highly desired
(*Str is a moderate simply because at the moment, it is highly desired for the "newer" clerics, but some may prefer Spr or full Support stats over Solo stats)
~ Mages ~
Str – Useless
Dex – Highly desired
End – Highly desired
Int – Highly desired
Spr – Highly desired
~ Archers ~
Str – Moderately desired (some might want it, others might not)
Dex – Highly desired
End – Highly desired
Int – Useless
Spr – Moderately desired (some might want it, others might not)
(*Solo archers will tend to desire Str, while others may desire Spr or Dex over Str)
.,;’*ITEMS "MAX"*’;,.
Items "max" refers to the items highest capacity (its maximum) for any one stat.
The "max" for any item can be determined by its level, and the "max" is half the items level.
Thus:
Lv 60 weapon: Max stat can be 30.
Lv 80 weapon: Max stat can be 40.
Lv 48 Pants: Max stat can be 24.
Items for each class should have their highly desired stats closer to the max. The undesired stats only take 1 of the max 3 spots on the weapon, armor, or item and are only useful to their specific classes (Str and Int). Keep this in mind before you label something Godly. Stating something is Godly when it has very low stats leaves a bitter taste, and some people will actually remember the items, or the person selling.
Having an item +9′d only increases its Godliness further, but the item has to be Godly in the first place to stay Godly. A non-godly item, +9′d, is only a +9′d item. Most players will only +9 Godly items specifically for that reason, and have the compelling desire to only +9 specifically Godly items to maximize profit (both using the item, and selling).
Images were removed due to unfortunate account problems of the Image Host Site. Sorry for the inconvenience
As you can see, several of the Godly items have been +9′d.
~ Godly ~
Level 88 Pants (Half max is 44)
Dex + 38
End + 42
Spr + 43
~ NOT Godly ~
Level 88 pants (Half max is 44)
Int + 3
End + 13
Spr + 31
And there, my good Godly seeking people, is a Guide to Godly.
Please keep it in mind before you label your shop "GODLY ARMOR" ^_^
Note: BLUES BREAK THE MAX BARRIER.
Orange items and purple items are on the same or higher rarity as blues, and will also break the barrier. That means a lv 91 hellgait can and will have End +65 or more
.,;’*Practical Examples*’;,.
~ Maxed ~
~ One high desired stat can be seen as "semi-godly" ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
End 34
~ Two High desired stats are sometimes refereed to as Godly, or Semi-Godly as well ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
Str 34
End 34
~ Three high desired stats are always referred to as Godly ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
Str 34
End 34
Spr 34
~ 75% Maxed ~
~ One 75% or so desired stat can be seen as "semi-godly" ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
End 29
~ Two 75% or so desired stats are sometimes refereed to as Godly, or Semi-Godly as well ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
Str 27
End 29
~ Three 75% or so desired stats are referred to as Godly or Semi-godly, depends on the owners/buyers preference to the stats ~For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
Str 27
End 29
Spr 28
~ Half-Maxed (50%) ~
~ With one stat at half-max, its not godly ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
End 16
This is not godly
~ With two stats at half-max, its not Godly ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
End 16
Dex 16
This is not godly
~ With three stats at half-max, it is "decent", but not godly ~
For example:
Fighter Pants lv 68:
End 16
Dex 16
Spr 16
This is seen as "decent", but is also NOT godly
~ Remember folks: Research by Child Development Theorist Linda Kreger Silverman suggests that 30% of the worlds population thinks visually, and that 45% of the these both visual/spatial thinking and thinking in the form of words, and 25% thinks exclusively in words. Thats 21% of the worlds population (you could say in Fiesta) that see your shop say "Godly" and see your "Godly -coughnotgodlycough- items" and remember your name, and your items, the words that make up or are your name and your items, and will link you to them later. Meaning should they see your shop with "GODLY!" later, they will most likely remember you said that last time and had junk, and will ignore you.
Meaning you will be ruining your chance to sell any "Godly" items to 21% of the population in Fiesta by labeling not godly items as "godly". ~
