Hi guys, i just wanted to write a guide for all the beginners who arent able to make a character that’s able to solo the first 2 instance bosses.

First off, what do we need to solo the bosses in the first 2 instances?
1) Do we need uber upgraded gear?
No!

2) Do we need legendary/rare pets with outstanding growth rates?
No!

3) Do we need previous funding from other characters?
No!

So what do we need? Well for starters u have to know how to correctly build your characters. This isn’t a guide for how to build certain classes but rather to help you solo the instance bosses. Once you read on the class guides in the other section of this forum, come back here and begin your quest on getting blackwind hairs and phoenix crystals!

So how do i get started?
First off, it is entirely possible to make a character and be able to solo the first 2 instances within 6 hours of time. The first thing you have to do is follow the training quests until lvl 20-22 and then STOP!

Catching the right pet!
What you should have is some free nets to catch pets with from the pet catching quest (must have done sealing the cloud prior to this). Go catch a moonhare or another elemental pet that is either bright or normal (bright is better).

Next step is farming Spirit Points!
Fuse with it and go into d1 instance (do not have your other pet out). You will NOT be killing the bosses in this run but instead you will be farming spirit points. Kill all the trash mobs (non boss mobs) to farm spirit points and maybe some astral gear (not required). Do this until you have maxed all your skills and have500-1000 extra spirit points left over.

Note!: Did you know you can walk pass the first boss in d1 without getting spotted? stick to the wall!

Getting the right level to fight the first bosses!
So what level should you be to fight the first bosses solo?
The ANSWER IS 28!?

Why?
Some people will ask why not 30 because thats when you get upgraded equipment!
Well first off i need to explain how monster drops and exp is rewarded.
Monsters give more exp and drops when there names are white in colour which means that they are roughly around your level. So now whats the max level we can be before the boss monster’s name turn green in the first instance? Level 28!

Note!: Did you know that you have to be within 4 levels of the monster to make it have a white name! That means that Bahumegabane and the other d1 bosses are level 24 with simple math! Once you are 5 levels above or below the monster, their names will become green!
Trivia!: What level do you think Blackwind and Jadeslither is?

So when you hit level 28 from doing training quests you can begin preparing to solo the first bosses.

ONCE YOU HIT LEVEL 29 THE DROP RATE DECREASES BY ALOT

Note!: What you should have been doing while getting to level 28 is having been fused with yourelemental pet that you got the whole time. Make sure the first pet you got has not been out as to maximize the exp gain of the pet you caught. We want that new pet to be level 25 ATLEAST! so it can learn mend lvl 3.

Time to prepare for BATTLE!

Step 1 involves getting the right pet equipment. First off buy the heal spell books up to level 3 and teach them to your elemental pet.

Note!: Make sure to place the heal spell and the other attacking ability that your pet normally learns into the hotkey slots and set it to automatic. If you don’t your pet will not cast the spells.

Next is to buy the lvl 15 pet food and health items (cookies and red beans) buy 200-300 of each with your gems from chef theo.

Why are we buying health potions for the pet? Will the pets be tanking the bosses?
The answer is NO! What most people don’t know when starting the game is that when you have a fused pet that has taken damage and you use a pet healing potion, the pet healing potion also heals you for some damage! Most people can’t tank the first bosses because they dont use pet healing potions on their fused pets and normal potions on themselves while tanking bosses!

Next is to buy red potions and blue potions to get ready for battle! Atleast 300 of each using gems should do (lvl 15 potions).

Next make sure that your weapon is upgraded to level 25! Go to the character menu and click upgrade near the weapon and use the extra spirit points you got to upgrade your weapon. Also make sure all your skills are maxed!. If not go into d2 and farm creeps for spirit points.

Time for battle!
So how to you begin fighting the first boss?
Well first off i want you to use your Possesor to fight the boss!

WHAT?!!!!!!
You heard me! Your poss is the best tool you have when fighting bosses!

Why?
Well did you notice that you will have alot of stuff to do when fighting the boss!
You have to make sure to spam the pet potions, pet food, normal healing potions and normal mana potionswhile fighting the bosses. Not to mention and your attacking and buff skills (if you have them already).Your poss’ can help you do this!

Set up your poss’ with the pet food, pet healing potions, normal healing pots and normal mana pots. Set up the necessary skills and abilities.

So before we start killing the first boss in the d1 instance we need to take care of ALL the trash mobs! kill all trash mobs in the instance!

Note!: There are two trash mobs beside the first boss that you will not need to kill till later.

FIGHTING THE FIRST BOSS!
Finally all your hard work has paid off! If you do this part right you won’t even need to touch that pokari wine you have just in case! Make sure you are on your mount and fused with the first pet you got in the game the ENTIRE TIME!
So if there are still 2 trash mobs around the first boss your will have to be smart!
Attack the first boss and continue running down the hallway towards the 2nd boss (make sure to spam potions), This hallway is long enough make the trash mobs loss aggro and start walking back. When only the first boss is chasing you summon your elemental pet and start your poss bot!. What you want to do now is to run behind the first boss while your poss’ bot is on. Your pet will keep attacking the first boss from behind while you kill it from the front!

Note!: Did you know that d1 d2 and d3 bosses will not re aggro to team members that are behind them and their aoe attacks only hit the front people!
Note!: Did you know that bosses and monsters you attack will chase your further! No wonder the trash mobs loss interest before the boss stopped!

With the poss bot setup and your pet behind the boss attacking and healing you, you won’t even need to move a finger at all (Just kidding, make sure to auto feed your pet because sometimes the poss bot will spam pet health beans instead of feeding your healing pet).

With this strategy you should be able to kill all 3 of the bosses and get FULL drops from each one. You should repeat this strategy until you get all 3 quest items and then go back and finish the proof of defeat quest!
