I have seen most players were having inquires regarding the pet system..I would like to have a simple introduction in this thread to solved some of the questions
In this Thread..There will be 5 sections….Please read whatever you might be interesting,I believe it should be helpful to you..
A)Introduction of basic pet element(status,attributes…etc)

A)Introduction of basic pet element
1:HP=life of pet,when reach 0..pets can no more assisting you
2:hunger measurement: In this game,it was the substitute of Mana ,when reach 0,pets can no more used a spell or attack…..Also,pets express 100%power only when the percentage of this amount is higher than 90%…..effect the rank of a pet
3:Life-span: One of the element which determine the rank of a pet
4:strength:Determine the physical attack of your pet
5:intelligence:Determine the spells power of your pet(magical attack)
6:resistance: The ablity to counteract magical attack
7:defense:The ablity to counteract physical attack
8:evasion:The ability to dodge magical/physical attack
9:accuracy:The ability to aim your target
10:Affinity:There ‘re 5 affinities(Pyra-flame,Oora-metal, Widu-forest,Unda-water,Erda-earth)..Each of them determine the damage of the corresponding spells…..1 point affinity=1% enhancement
11:rank of a pet: A Total rank of your pet,Determine by the miscellaneous status of the pet…also effect the damage of several variety spells exclusively for pets with different types
12:Nature Affinity:1 point Nature Affinity will increased all status of your pet(attack,life,defense….etc…)by 1%…….
There is several skills are able to learned by pet’s master in order to increased their Nature Affinity
13:favorable degree:Effect the rank of a pet
14:Critical attacks(magical/physical)growth rate:increased certain amounts every level determine by the rate
B)Introduction of basic pet knowledges and treatment
1:When a pet level up with 90% or more hunger measurement,This pet will have a 5% extra growth of every status(HP,defense,attack,affinity grwoth…etc)
2:When pet is using a spell,there will be a time necessary….How to Calculated the time?actually ..here is tip for you…..look at the Cool down times of every spell.
A)if the cool down time is 1second, execute time=1second also
B)if the cool down time is 2seconds, execute time=1-2seconds
C)if the cool down time is 3seconds, execute time=2-3seconds
3:How to Calcuted the affinity of a pet to ensure no lost of affinity? Here is a equation for you:
equation=(pet’s level-1)/2+your pet’s average affinity …if decimal appear…ignore it…
PS: average affnity means the common affinity of your pet
Example:I have a 30level pet with Oora Attribute…All five affinity of my pet are:Oora22,Widu7,Prya7,Unda7,Erda7…..If that is the case,my average affinity is 7
let said I have a pet with Oora attribute…And his average affinity is 14,his level is 40…How do I knew if this pet’s Oora affinity growth was perfectly or not?
Sample:40-1/2+14=33…which mean if your pet’s Oora affinity is equal to or higher than 33,this pet’s affinity growth is perfect..if opposite…The master of this pet had treat him very badly..
PS:Of course…pet’s in different families will result in different affinity growths…I will mention later on in this thread
4:There are 5 attributes in this game…yor pet may belong to one of them…They’re:
A)flame -> Pyra(increased extra 0.9 intelligence growth every level)
B)metal -> Oora (increased extra 0.9strength growth every level)
C)forest -> Widu(increased extra 0.3 resistance,0.3intelligence growth every level)
D)water -> Unda (increased extra 7.5 HP growth every level)
E)earth -> Erda (increased extra 0.3 strength,0.3 defense growth every level)
Also,Pets will increased 0.5 point affinity growth every level corresponding to their attributes
Sample:a pet with widu attribute will have an extra 0.5 widu affinity growth every level
5:Fusion Elements of a pet:Pets are able to get 4 fusion
elements possibly……Depend on your luck…However
every pet result in 2 basic fusion elements determine by
their outlook and families:
Beastkin:pets in this family must be result in Unda Affinity
Humanoid:pets in this family must be result in Random Affinity
Elementa:pets in this family must be result in Pyra Affinity
Mechen:pets in this family must be result in Oora Affinity
Undead:pets in this family must be result in Random Affinity,mostly Erda
Scalen:pets in this family must be result in Random Affinity
Florax
Can’t be tamed yet)
Aerax: (Can’t be tamed yet)
Vena: (Can’t be tamed yet)
6:types of pet:
Fierce – Fearless/Potent
Bright – Pious / Passionate,
Cautious – Sensible/Wild
Normal – Normal
Only bright type is able to learned healing….Normal types
pet will change their attributes after melding everytime(If
they have attribute when you caught them)
C)Introduction of pet melding system
Rules of Ether Saga pet system:
A)when the status of secondary pet is higher than main pet…The melding will have a good result ,The higher different between 2 pets, the better result you will get….
B)When the main and secondary pet are the same type,The melding will have good result
C)When the main and secondary pet are the same type,attribute….The melding will better compared to rule B
D)When the main and secondary pet are the same type,attribute,have good different in status…The melding will better compared to rule C
E)When the main and secondary pet are the same type,attribute,have good different in status..reach level 90 or above..The melding will better compared to rule D
F)When the main pet is 9 melds, main pet and secondary pet have the same type,attribute,have good different in status..reach level 90 or above..The melding will better compared to rule E
G)When the level of main and secondary pet are 90 or above..The melding will have good result
H)When the main pet melds into the 10 times,The result will be maximized
I)Feature of different secondary pets:
1)Fierce -increased HP growth
2)Bright-increased Strength and intelligence growth
3)Cautious-increased Intelligence growth
J)The rank of secondary pet is a important factor will effect the outcome also,The higher difference of the rank between the main pet and the seondary, the better outcome will get..
K)Under the same condition,If main and secondary result in Same types,the outcome is better than if it result in Same Attrubutes..
Example:Birght/Oora+ Bright/widu is better than Cautious/Oora+Bright/Oora
L):Under the condition of Same type,when the main is a basic type(Bright,cautious,fierce) and the secondary is evolved type(Fearless/Potent,Pious / Passionate,Sensible/Wild)..The outcome will be better than basic type+basic type(bright+bright)
M)The number of melds will boosted the outcome of melding also…Under the same secondary pet situation,When the main pet is 0 meld,basic type…The outcome will be better than if the main pet is 1-5melds,basic type…otherwise…players have to raised the pet to a higher level in order to get the same outcome
I am going to have a introduction of Ether Saga pet melding mutation rule Underneath:
A)Beginning in second melds,mutation will happen..it is going to be 50%main pet’s outlook or 50% secondary pet’s outlook
B)Beginning in third melds,mutation will be 33%main pet’s outlook,33%secondary pet’s outlook,and 33%randomly mutated
C)Rule of randomly mutation: When main or secondary pet’s families are:(beaskin,Humanoid,elementa,Mechen)…The outlook of your pet will also result in one of the families I had mention above…..If the main or secondary pet are not one of the 4 families I am talking about…..the outcome will be selected randomly…
D)Rule of radomly mutation 2:When randomly mutation occured..
there is two ways:
1)according to your main pet’s family to determine the outcome
2)according to your secondary pet’s family to determine the outcome
E)Rule of non-mutation: According to ruleA-D,mutation will take place beginning in 2nd melds…however there is an exception …..
When your main and secondary pets are both were caught in the newest city(volcanic mountain)…
Mutation will never happen…The outcome will always be the original ……because In the data of client…I believe the technician didn’t decided a mutated rule for them… It only happens when both main and secondary were caught in that city…If not..there is a possibility of randomly mutation occured …..according to the Rule C and D
F)The feature of mutation and melding:
1)The fusion elements still keep as the same as the original main pet
2)The outlook might be change,If the outlook change,which means the max growth status of your pet have change also
3)The basic status is the same as original main pet(attack,defense,basic critical attack rate…etc)…However the critical attack growth rate is going to be change according to the pet’s outlook , the strength limit and intelligence limit…..Types of pet is also an important factor:
A)fierce type have high physical critical attack growth,low magical critical attack growth
B)Bright type have similar physical/magical critical attack growth
C)Cautious type have low physical critical attack growth,high magical critical attack growth
4)The innate skills will be change determined by the outlook of the pet
5)The Attribute will stay the same,unless the pet is normal type

PS:There is 2 useful Runes during melding pets…
1)100%successful rate,maintain the skills of the main pet..however mutation will happen
2)raised 30%successful rate,maintain the skills and the appearance of the main pet
