Benefits and Shortcomings of Each Class

This guide is meant for new players in general in class-choice. It is all the details fo every class, including the general consensus on armor appearances.

Warrior – Brass Warrior – Silver Warrior – Gold Warrior – Warrior Master
=======
A Warrior is the mainstay of any game, known for high defense. In Conquer, they are not lauded by players as a good class since they deal less damage than trojans and have less HP than trojans.
After level 15 they gain XP skills of superman (multiply attack with KO’s to prolong it), shield (3x defense), accuracy (3x accuracy), and the useless Xp skill Roar to increase teammates XP by 20 points. Superman allows for insanely fast leveling due to high damage to all monsters, even ones dozens of levels higher than you. Shield allows you to take no damage from white or red named monsters for the duration of the skill. Accuracy allows you to hit more often, but pales in comparison to other XP skills since Trojan has it as well. Roar is the most useless skill, unless you have team as it merely increases other teammates’ XP.
At level 40 shield can be equipped allowing for greater defense per say over their trojan counterparts. After 110, however, a warrior even with shield has less defense than a trojan of equal level.
At level 63 Dash is learned, allowing you to deal high damage when monsters (or players) are near an edge such as a wall or cliff. It uses shield durability, though. It is useful because it pushes the target out of the area that they were in, so you can move other players off your drops.
At level 70, Flying Moon allows you to hit players/monsters at a range using high damage magic but it is a XP skill.
A Warrior more or less has potential, but is underrated.

As a warrior in PvP, use of scentsword, fastblade, Flying Moon XP skill, or a direct hit are needed to inflict damage.

ADVANTAGES: Fast leveling due to Superman/XP Shield, Lowest cost class specific items, Archers do little/no damage while wearing shield, Reborn to Warrior has Reflect skill, Best Looking Male Armors

DISADVANTAGES: Often a PK target for trojans at or above level, hard to PvP with only ScentSword/FastBlade, poor hunter, no disguise, Female Armors are mediocre

Reborn to
Warrior: Reflect (reflects back the damage done on you to the person who attacked you)
–>Skill is unique, only reborn warrior has it, and it reflects damage done to you instead of you taking damage. The catch is it appears only occasionally.
Trojan: Accuracy, Roar and Flying Moon
–>Why would you??? A Warrior to Trojan is mediocre compared to Warrior-Warrior, so you’d be a disgrace to warriors everywhere. The only benefit of going Trojan is dual wielding and MAYBE hercules.
Fire Taoist: Shield and Roar
–>A mediocre choice due to lack of anything that would put you at advantage over other players
Water Taoist: Superman, Shield and Roar
–>A Water Taoist with superman can use two handers or one handers to go to Adavnture Zone or Wine Cave to level quickly soloing as they deal magic damage. Shield is somewhat useless unless you are wearing Taoist equipment fighting meleee monsters with melee weapons
Archer: Shield and Roar
–>Pointless since Shield negates Fly, Roar is useless again

Trojan – Veteran Trojan – Tiger Trojan – Dragon Trojan – Trojan Master

The prominent PK class, as it has loads of health. Attack is also in abundance after level 40 with the usage of two one-handed weapons. They also have benefit of two handed weapons, but most people use two clubs due to the speed of leveling and the benefit of hercules. Hercules is an area attack leanred at level 40, with an ellipse/circle that changes color when upgraded every 10 levels with fixed (cannot be upgraded) at level 70.
Before level 40, they are warriors more or less. After level 40, they gain the dual-wield ability and can learn hercules.
Trojans also have spirithealing that allows stamina to be used for 500, 800, or 1300 heal. That is why PKing is easier, since it has heal.
XP skills include cyclone (fast speed with KO’s to prolong it),accuracy (3 times the accuracy for a period), and robot (50K HP tank with horrible attack/defense/speed).

As a trojan in PvP, use of hercules, scentsword, fastblade, or a direct hit are needed to inflict damage.

ADVANTAGES: PK is easy (as it deals most damage of all classes), dual-wield, leveling is simple at high levels, more defense than a warrior of equal equipment after level 110, HIGHEST HP (nearly double of every class at level 100+), Female Armors are lauded to be the best female armor

DISADVANTAGES: Equipment is very expensive due to the popularity of the class, low magic defense means that possibility of dieing to taos easily in PvP, lacking in the skill area except for weapon skills, reborns are mediocre to other classes, "Rubber shorts" Male armors

Does Well against Archer, Warriors, lower Trojans, Water Taos
Does Poorly against FireTaos (unless you have great aim)

Reborn to
Trojan: Cruel Shade (Cost stamina to make your enemy lose 20% HP)
–>mediocre, only gain reborn guard
Warrior: Cyclone, Spirit Healing, Iron Shirt (Iron Shirt is XP skill. After you cast it and stand still, your defense will increase by quadruple within 5 minutes. It will disappear once you move.)
–>spirithealing is only worthwhile skill because Warriors have Superman and Shield by nature
Fire and Water Taoist: Cyclone, Spirit Healing, Robot
–>a taoist with a KO skill, tank
Archer: Cyclone, Spirit Healing
–> an archer with stamina heal not advisable because other archer skills use stamina , scatter doesn’t work with cyclone well.

Taoist – Fire Taoist – Fire Wizard – Fire Master – Fire Saint

Another prominent PK class, the Firetao stands for pure raw damage in terms of magic. It has the most magic damage skills. After leveling thunder and fire to fixed, tornado will be learned at level 80. This skill has constant damage due to 100% accuracy. In PvP trojans usually fall to one or more Fire Taoist with jumping skill due to high magic damage on trojans. They can also cure health from 20-400 HP using magic.
At the level 40 promotion you are officially Fire Taoist and learn fire.
The main benefit of FireTao is after fire circle is learned at 65, which alows area attacking. This means easier hunting. Also, it is an invaluable tool for leveling in Adventure Zone.
XP skills include area attacks of Lightning, Volcano, and Speed Lightning.

As a FireTao in PvP, use of atatck magic is needed to inflict damage.

ADVANTAGES: Ranged magic allows attack of people in city, charged skills like fireball deal high damage, Item hunting is easy with area attacks like Fire of Hell and Inferno, Female armors less than 70 look like Chinese dresses

DISADVANTAGES: Lowest defense of any class, leveling is slow throughout, Trojans/Warriors can 1 Hit with FastBlade/Scentsword if lag/poor jumping, cannot tank, equipment is often expensive and necessary, no strength, no disguise, Males have armors that is usually dress-looking, Female armors after 70 make you look like a grandmother

Fire Taoist: Dodge (Increase dodge)
–>Supreme archer defense
Warrior and Trojan: Thunder, Fire, Cure and Meditation
–>increases effectiveness of reborn guard due to ranged magic
Water Taoist: Fire Circle
–>good powerleveler, poor PvP
Archer: Thunder, Fire, Cure and Meditation
–>Good anti-trojan when flying

Taoist – Water Taoist – Water Wizard – Water Master – Water Saint

A full support class, Water Taoist has little damage if any at all. Its only two "attacks" are Thunder and Fire and the XP skill Water Elf. They have the best healing abilities and are the only class to have revive ability to resurrect fellow players. Water Taos are meant for team playing, not for soloing. PKing is out of the question unless in Water Elf form .
Divine Hare is ideal for mining, with its fast speed, high defense and magic defense.
Healing Rain (up to 500 HP) and Nectar (up to 900 HP) are area healing spells, while cure (up to 400 HP) and Advanced Cure (with up to 900 HP restoration) are healing spells.
Magic shield also prevents buffs from players and invisibility takes away buffs.
The only area attacks are XP skills as Lightning, Volcano, and Speed Lightning.

As a Water Tao in PvP, use of Fire is needed to inflict damage.

ADVANTAGES: fast level if powerleveled all the time, best reborns, DivineHare is fastest disguise in game, best healing, only class with revive skill, Female armors less than 70 look like Chinese dresses

DISADVANTAGES: worst hunting and little time to hunt if leveling, Only 2 attack skills, people spam for revive in ghost chat that is not ignorable, often PK target in and out of Guild War, Males have armors that is usually dress-looking, Female armors after 70 make you look like a grandmother

Reborn to:
Water Taoist: Pervade (Stamina skill akin to firecircle but with more damage, with 5 consecutive casts)
–>If you want to gain damage from Reborn Guard, wield weapons for melee damage
Warrior and Trojan: Cure, Star of Accuracy, Magic Shield, Stigma and Meditation
–>You will ease leveling by having buff skills for YOURSELF, disguises
Fire Taoist: Revive (XP skill), Advanced Cure, Invisibility and Healing Rain
–>Gain damage while also keeping Water Tao’s main skills like Divine Hare, Water Elf, healing spells
Archer: Cure, Invisibility, Magic Shield, Stigma and Meditation
–>Buff yourself while you level, attack trojans mid-air with magic using Fly, disguises

Archer – Eagle Archer – Tiger Archer – Dragon Archer – Archer Master

The best hunter in terms of speed and charge time. Arrows are costly when leveling, though. Scatter is the most popular skill for hunting, it has largest range and fastest area attack speed. Skills like Intensify and Rapid Fire increase damage.
Reborn is the most pointless thing for this class, as all reborns above 70 can use bow regardless.

As an archer in PvP, use of bow or weapon is needed to inflict damage.

ADVANTAGES: Excellent hunter, fast level in Training Grounds and in Adventure Zone with Scatter, Intensify and Rapid Fire allow killing of lower leveled players in 1 hit, Fly allows 100% evasion of melee attacks, good looking high level armors (wings!)

DISADVANTAGES: Low defense, worst reborns, bows are hard to find, no disguise

Reborn to
Archer: Use Freezing Arrow (It works randomly and makes the target stop attacking within a certain period)
–>You gain Reborn Guard, which could help in fighting trojans in Fly
Warrior, Trojan, Fire and Water Taoist: Equip Low level bows and arrows, poisonous arrows.
–> You lose everything!
