Q: well ive always wondered, if you throw on 5~10% Hp steal/100+ max, and go bm2 pewpew gunZ how difficult is it to tank things like derk/pennas/tanks?
A: If you have more than 5% hp steal, then you’re going under the necessary amount of amp/crit damage via rings/bracelets. With my gear, I can get a penna down to 5-10% health left and then run out of bm. Berderk is a different story because he hits faster then any boss, with his huge defense, you need a huge base magic attack and a large amount of amp to break his defense.
Gravis Rota is out of reach for FA’s entirely. The only vid that i’ve ever seen of an archer going up against Gravis is 2 man archer vid, which one of the archers has 1 14% amp crystal and a 16% crit dmg, 7% amp crystal on his offhand.

Q: I was wondering if I should get tit will boots or stit amp and what would be the scenarios for both of them?
A: Amp boots are a necessity to archers, period. If you don’t have the proper amp, at higher levels, you will be unable to break bosses defense in PvE, and plus amp will effect crit shot + guns an insane amount.
Will boots on the other hand are mainly for dueling where you are looking to have more HP than your opponent in hopes of our enduring them.
As far as my overall opinion, I think straight up pvp is one of many scenario’s and that’s all will is good for. Go for amp gears.
Q: What are the advantages and disadvantages of Multi Shooter mode?
A: The advantage to Bm1 is it’s a good power increase for magic attack/defense, to use in combination with aura and legacy in nation war.
The disadvantage is that if you hit multiple targets, the damage is cut severely. For nation war, it’s bad to use against guardians because often times you’ll find the guardian is close to the barrier. Even though you’re not doing any damage to the barrier (constant miss) it still splits damage that you’re hitting on the guardian.
Also one thing to note about this skill, gravity distortion is the only skill that seems to split. I haven’t tested every skill but that’s as far as I can tell.
Q: if an fa has 50% rate and shoots crit shot, does that mean it will crit 100% of the time?
A: Nope, 50% is the cap and skill crit rate bonus doesn’t exceed that.
Q: OSM amp boots, Tit amp boots or STIT amp boots
A: Titanium. Unless you’re talking about PC Osmium amp with 2 slots open and 7% amp. Titanium is the most cost effective. 81 defense, 7% amp, 80hp, vs. 97 defense, 7% amp, no HP. 16 def vs. 80 HP = 80HP wins.
Q: Which is better Martial FA or Battle FA? Suprised that question hasnt been asked I used to that thread like every week. Good luck putting the answer to that one =)
A:Martial FA is king. When I switched, I gained 22 magic attack and lost 12 defense from stats. A tad bit of gear, but hey, i’m not counting much. 22 magic attack in terms of archer skills is 1 dmg point per m.attack, therefore, 22 magic attack gained is another 22 magic attack.
20 defense lost per sei, it wasn’t quite that high but a nice rounded number for example, would be about 10 damage saved per hit. Seeing as how archers are a class that can recover quickly due to healing, getting hit for *slightly* more damage is not really a problem. Magic attack helps break defense that otherwise would slow down bm2 to forcing you to lance.
Q: Crit ring + 1 vs RoS + 9, Crit ring + 2 vs RoS + 9, Crit ring + 2 vs RoS + 10
A: RoS+10 is the best ring in the game. Consider this:
18 magic attack
?? defense
10% crit damage.
Now, that leaves room for 5% crit damage differential between the crit +2 and the RoS10. 5% crit damage when you test that (amulet of pain works for testing) comes to around 14-15 damage with around 1k magic attack. If you remember from the martial FA question, magic attack is 1 dmg/m.attack. So if you gain 18 magic, that’s 18 extra damage, roughly the same as the crit +2. Why is it better? Because crit damage does not help you break defense, base magic does, and as a result your magic attack will be higher so you can pierce defense easier, while still doing the same crit damage (give/take).
That’s not taking into account the added defense either which helps a great deal.
Q: How about a good stunlock PVE combo without Shooting Star? Not the classic one with Poison Arrows >_>
A: Gravity Distortion (9) > Drilled Shot (20) > Shadow Shot (20) > Fire Cannon (20) > Stone Cannon (20).
It’s not a 100%, but it’s higher DPS than using the poison arrow/lightning combo.
