Battlefield 1 AUTOMATICO M1918 TRENCH! THE BEAST, the FASTEST or the DEADLIEST?!
Hi guys and welcome to the Automatico M1918 Trench. Today I will disclose everything that you need to know to dominate the Battlefield with this submachine gun. The automatico is actually the Beretta Model 1918, an Italian gun that entered service in 1918, hence the name. The Italian armed forces used the M1918 but it was initially designed as a semi-automatic rifle. The weapon comes with an overhead inserted magazine, that is why it is always in our face when we aim down sight. But that won’t slow us down because we are using the Trench version of this gun in Battlefield 1.
Let’s start with the statistics so that you can see the advantages of the Automatico M1918 Trench. One bullet can cause 23 damage, but this damage will drop, eventually it will settle down at 12 damage at a range of 38 meters. Everything beyond that will also take 12 damage points per bullet. So the damage will stay constant after 38 meters. One of the big advantages of the M1918 is the rate of fire of 900 rounds per minute. This gun has the highest rate of fire of all guns in Battlefield 1. The only gun that can match the rate of fire is the Frommer Stop Auto. The rest doesn’t even come close. Combine that with a muzzle velocity of 380 meters per second and you know that you have one beast of a gun in your hands. You will need 5 bullets to kill, this seems like a lot but don’t worry about that because the rate of fire has got your covered. You will be killing your opponent in only 0.272 seconds.
This is by far the fastest time to kill of all guns in battlefield 1 except for shotguns and sniper rifle kills within the sweet spot range. From 13 meters you will need 6 bullets to kill and to give you a reference, at 20 meters your time to kill will become 0.386 seconds. For all future weapons videos I will always include the 20 meter reference because most of your kills will happen at approximately 20 meters. So this is a very important number to keep in the back of your mind when you are thinking about trying out a new gun.
When you deploy on the battlefield you will start off with 25 bullets in your magazine and you will get another 125 for later. The empty reload time is seconds but a reload with one or more bullets left in your magazine will only take seconds. The great thing about Battlefield 1 is that we now also have access to the deploy time. This is the time that it takes for the weapon to be ready for firing after a weapon switch. For all sniper rifles this is seconds, for all support weapons this number is even worse and you will be looking at seconds or higher.
The medic class is better and their guns have a deploy time of seconds. The M1918 is the fastest of them all with a deploy time of only seconds. This number is valid for all assault guns, including shotguns. The only exception is the Hellriegel. It has to deal with a higher deploy time. The M1918 has a standard bullet drop of 12 meters per second squared. Now that we had a closer look at the stats we know that we have one beast of a gun in our hands. All the stats that you saw up to now are valid for all Automatico M1918’s, so for the factory, the storm and the trench.
But what makes the trench so special? Let’s unlock the gun and then we can see what we are dealing with. The Automatico M1918 Trench offers an improved accuracy when hip firing, making it well suited for clearing out trenches. Basically it means that it is very suited for killing a lot of people. The best part is that you don’t even have to aim down sight. This is more important than you think because not having to aim down sight will save a lot of time for a lot of people. Imagine that you are on the battlefield, getting those massive killstreaks as usual, and you see your next victim, most people will aim down sight first and then they will press the button to fire their weapon. This will take time, and if the other guy is faster, he will end up killing you and not the other way around. These are the guys who will benefit most by using this gun because you don’t even have to ads. Just point and click, that’s it. This is how easy it is to use this gun but make sure that you take advantage of this.
It will also eliminate the problem that you have when you ads with the M1918, this big overhead inserted magazine will block a very important part of your view when you are making kills. The other guy just has to sidestep to your right and you won’t be able to see him anymore. When you look at the stats it clearly shows that hipfire is the way to go for this gun. I made more than 90% of my kills with this gun by using hipfire. And there were a lot of times that I was just faster than the other guy because I didn’t have to ads. If you do insist on using ads from time to time then you have the option to choose between iron sights or a peep sight. You can change the magnification up to a 2 times magnification. Bayonet or no bayonet and you can adjust the recoil direction. This is as simple as it comes, if you want your recoil to go up and to the left then select that one, just straight up is centered and guess what you will have to select if you want it to go to the right.
I’m sure that you noticed the longer killstreaks in this video. By not using ads I was able to make these killstreaks with ease and so can you. So Happy Hunting. By the way, guys the Youtube likes and shares are very helpful to me. If you think that this video is worthy, would you mind taking a moment to like this video and to share it with all you buddies? This was FOG of GAMING, thanks for watching and I will see you on the Battlefield!.
